Chapter Twenty

My Sister's Keeper

Elena smiled as she held a six hundred-year-old Mina's hand. Mina did not fully understand that her father was gone, but she was upset by it, spending time with her eight hundred-year-old cousin Serena seemed to help.

Elena walked through the rose garden of the palace on a bright sunny day. She was wearing a hair in a long braid that fell to the small of her back. She wore a light blue gown. Mina wore a pretty blue gown that matched her eyes. Astraios had brought it for her for her sixth hundredth birthday and threw her a big surprise birthday party where he invited Serena and her friends throughout the kingdom. Even though Elena now despised her brother-in-law. She confessed that she loved how he treated Mina like she was his own daughter. He filled the voided the Richard had left in her daughter's life. Mina adored her Uncle Astraios and she loved astronomy like her uncle. When Mina was only five hundred-years-old, he brought her a telescope and many nights they spent together staring at the stars and the different planets.

Mina turned to see her uncle approaching them and smiled happily. She said happily racing towards him, "Uncle Astraios, you're back…" He gave her a big smile showing off his perfect smile as he hugged her and picked her up in his arms and swung her around as she laughed in glee. Elena rolled her eyes at the spectacle. He then held her in his arms as she hugged him.

Astraios said, "Hello princess…have you been a good little girl since I've been gone?" He was gone for a few months to visit the countryside on royal business.

Mina nodded her head quickly and said, "Yes, Uncle Astraios, you could ask mommy…"

Astraios glanced at Elena who simply ignored them as she continued to walk through the garden.

Astraios glanced back at Mina then said, "I have something for you."

She always loved her uncle's gifts. He took out a red bow out of his pocket. She looked unimpressed as he held the bow out for her.

Astraios could tell by her facial expression when she did not like something. He said, "It was your mother's." Mina looked interested.

"She was wearing it the first time we met. Now, it's yours."

Mina took it and smiled. She thanked him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. She laughed as he let her down. He watched as she placed it in her hair.

Astraios laughed, "Beautiful." She smiled happily and curtsied in front of him. From that day forward, she always wore it and wanted her hair styled with hair down with her red bow in the back.

Astraios said, "Hey, your Aunt Selenity is baking cookies with Serena. She wants you to try some."

Mina gave him a sad expression like she was being punished. His wife was a horrible cook, but no one would there tell that to her.

Astraios said sympathizes with his niece, "I know, my darling." Mina sadly nodded then ran off. Astraios saw Elena smelling the roses a few feet away from him. He smiled warmly as he walked towards her.

Elena smelt the roses and smiled.

"It's a lovely day for a scroll, Elena." She turned her head to see her brother-in-law Astraios approaching her.

Elena cut her eyes at him and said, "It was a lovely day until you arrived, brother." He chuckled at her emphasis on the word brother.

Astraios said, "I lived here. We lived in the same home. We are bound to run into each other." Astraios placed his hand on Elena's shoulder. She quickly slapped it away.

Elena said, "Other than at breakfast, dinner, and social gatherings, there is no purpose for us to see each other. Not even now, brother." She walked away. He smirked at her.

He said, "I will make you mines again, Elena."

Queen Selenity sat in her war room with Luna and Artemis at her side in human form. Artemis was a tall handsome young man with long white hair that almost reached the small of his back and white bangs. He had green eyes and had the crescent moon symbol on his face. His uniform was a white long-sleeved turtleneck and white slacks and shoes. On his uniform was the family moon symbol crest.

Selenity listened as the commanding general of her army informed her of an upcoming attack by a vicious dark queen named Queen Ainia. She was powerful as she was beautiful and led an army of ten thousand warships. Every planet that she came in contact with, she destroyed. She was over twenty-thousand-years-old. She was defeated by the First Ancestor ensuring peace over the intergalactic for thousands of years. Now, she finally broke free from the dimension that First Ancestor sent her too. She was on a war path for revenge and destroyed every planet in her path. She was heading for the moon.

Queen Selenity asked, "How long do we have before Ainia makes it to the moon?"

Artemis said stepping from behind his queen, "At the rate that she is going, it will be a matter of months before she arrived on the Moon."

A hologram appeared before them over the war table and thousands of stars and planets surrounded the room. Luna and Selenity gasped when they saw planets being blasted away.

Luna asked horrified, "Why is she destroying planets as if there are no living creatures on them?"

Artemis said with a deep sigh turning towards Luna, "There is no purpose. She is doing it just because she can. She loves Chaos and she must be stopped."

Queen Selenity asked, "And if I lose?"

Artemis sighed, "Then chaos will destroy us all. We have no choice but to declare war."

Queen sighed then said, "Give me a day to think about it."

Artemis said, "Yes, your majesty. Just remember that the longer we wait many innocent people lose their lives."

Queen Selenity nodded then with the wave of her hand, she dismissed everyone and the room returned to normal. From the top level of the room, Elena listened and looked sadly down at her sister.

Queen Selenity asked with her hands clasped together, "What do you think sister?"

Elena looked shocked and said, "I didn't know you knew I was eavesdropping."

Queen Selenity said, "My level of alertness highly increased when I became queen. I knew you were there since the moment you snuck in."

Elena said with a shrug, "You're way better than mother was."

Queen Selenity said, "I think she knew we were there. She wanted us to understand how important it was to be queen." Queen Selenity sighed then said, "I wish it was only wearing fancy dresses, looking pretty and smiling at the adoring crowd."

Elena said sarcastically, "Don't let the ancestors hear you say that. The First Ancestor will strike you down for saying such a conventional thing about your own sex."

Elena slowly descended down the stairs.

Queen Selenity sighed then said, "In over a thousand years as queen, I never dealt with anything of this magnitude. I remembered the stories of Queen Ainia as a child and her power rival that of the imperial silver crystal. The First Ancestor died sealing Ainia away in the hell dimension. No Lunarian queen has ever been as powerful as the First Ancestor. To declare war will mean making Serena the moon queen at eight-hundred-years-old."

Elena said, "Selenity, you cannot give up hope."

Queen Selenity said, "The silver crystal is a gift as well as a curse for our family. The silver crystal guarantees our longevity and made us the powerful ruling family we are today, but it has also been the reason for the death of every Lunarian queen who wielded it. We always end up having to sacrifice ourselves for the crown."

Elena said rushing towards her sister, "Serenity will not becoming the moon queen at eight hundred. We will find a way to stop Ainia without the silver crystal. I promise you sister." Selenity simply stared at her sister and sighed.

Elena walked into Serenity's room that was filled with stuffed animals, dolls, and toys. Serenity and Mina slept peacefully in Serena's bed. They never slept in their own rooms. They always slept together and did everything together like two peas in a pod. Elena kissed both of the girls on the forehead.

As she was about to walk off, she heard a sleepy voice said, "Auntie Elena…"

She turned around and saw Serena was sitting up rubbing her eyes. She asked quietly, "Yes, my love…"

Elena said, "Just going to see if I can help."

Serena asked tiredly, "Are you going to disappear like Uncle Richard?"

Elena started to become emotional at the sound her late husband's name. She said with a smile, "I won't, my love, but look after your little cousin, will you?"

Serena looked at Mina, who slept peacefully next to her. She said looking at her Aunt Elena with a smile, "Always." Elena smiled then left out.

Elena raced through the dark forest on her brown horse. She came to a small cottage in the woods. She brought the horse to a halt and jumped of the horse and tied it up around a tree. She caressed the side of its face before walking towards the cabin.

Elena knocked on the door. It was opened by a beautiful teenaged girl with long wavy hair and hazel eyes. Elena recognized the girl's eyes and remembered that she was the dying, little girl that she saved all those years ago and granted immortality to.

She asked curiously, "Charisma."

Charisma smiled then said, "It's nice to see you again, Moon Phantom." Elena smirked at Charisma moved to the side allowing Elena to walk inside. Charisma closed the door behind her.

Elena asked, "Where is your mother?"

Charisma said, "She died two hundred years ago."

Elena said sadly, "I'm sorry to hear that."

Charisma said with a smile, "I came to terms with her death a long time ago." She changed the subject and asked, "So how may I help you, Princess Elena?"

Elena said, "I need to help my sister in a battle against Queen Ainia, an ancient queen from the time of my first ancestor."

Charisma said, "She was the one that brought you back."

Elena asked confused, "What?"

Charisma said, "It was your First Ancestor that brought you back to this world. She brought you back for the purpose of being here at this moment to save your sister and her kingdom. It is your destiny."

Elena asked confused, "You're confusing me. What do you mean?"

Charisma said, "You wanted to know your purpose. The reason why you were brought back to this world. I am here to show you."

Elena asked, "Will I will be able to defeat Ainia?"

Charisma nodded. "You will be able to do what your ancestors could not do. If you succeed, your sister will not die in this battle. None of Selenity's descendants will die from using the silver crystal again."

"Succeed at what?"

"Your destiny."

Elena backed away and said shaking her head, "You're crazy. This was a mistake."

Charisma said, "Then every living being including your sister, niece, and your daughter will all die."

Elena stopped then said, "What?"

Charisma said, "The silver crystal is not strong enough to fight Ainia. When a Lunarian queen becomes the moon queen, her life force becomes tied to the silver crystal. If the silver crystal breaks or fails, the moon queen dies."

Elena asked with a resolutely, "What is it that I need to do?"

Charisma said, "Follow me."

Charisma rode on the back of Elena's horse as she directed Elena where to go through the dark forest. They rode for miles until they arrived at the temple of the Moon Goddess. There were temples throughout the planet where citizens of the moon worshipped the moon goddesses. They gave tithes like food, gold, and livestock and the moon goddess awarded them with blessings like long life, a good harvest, and riches.

Elena had never been to this particular temple of the Moon Goddess. She brought the horse to a halt in front of the moon temple. She hopped off her horse and helped Charisma off also.

They slowly walked inside of the temple. They looked around at the large temple made of golden walls with the crescent moon symbol craved on the walls. At the center of the temple was a tall statue of the Moon Goddess. She was a golden statue that was about twenty feet tall. Her hair was styled in the traditional odango styled. Her eyes were closed and her hands were clasped together in front of her.

Elena asked as Charisma walked behind her, "Do you know the story of the First Ancestor?"

Charisma said, "My mother told me the story of her when I was a little girl." Charisma looked up at the statue. "Her true name is Lilith. It is said that when God created man, he created woman from the same dust. Her name was Lilith, Adam's first wife. Adam was upset that he could not control Lilith. Lilith felt they were equal since they were created from the same dust. In retaliation, Lilith fled the Earth, mated with the archangel Samael and created a new world on the moon where women were treated as equal as mankind. God then took a rib out of Adam's body while he slept and created Eve so that she could not claim equality to men. God allowed Lilith to leave the Earth and made her the Moon Goddess and guardian of the Earth. She is your great-great grandmother."

Elena said, "I was always taught the she was the most powerful member of our family. Why she brought me back to this world I do not understand."

A golden glow emitted from the statue. Elena and Charisma covered their eyes from the blinding light. When everything started to clear, they removed their arms from over their eyes and were stunned to a see a beautiful woman with long, golden hair and blue eyes. She wore her hair in the traditional odango-styled. She was naked and had large white wings coming out of her back. Charisma stepped back.

Elena gulped when Lilith, the First Ancestor, walked towards her. When they were a few feet away, Lilith smiled and said, "Hello, great granddaughter. I have been waiting for you."

Elena was stunned.

Lilith smiled and said, "You would have made a great moon queen, Elena. You're strong and wise as any queen should be."

Elena asked, "Then why was my birthright taken away from me?"

"I needed to make you stronger, Elena. Not anyone could accomplish the task that I have for you. I needed to know that you were more than just a princess so I took away your crown from you and altered history so that Selenity's line will become the new rulers of the moon. You lost your birthright, your title, your lover, your child, and your innocence. You were betrayed by those who you loved the most and you were attacked by thirty men. From everything that you have been through, I know that you are the one that was meant for this task. If you do not, my great granddaughter than our bloodline will die and chaos will take over the world."

"You never died Elena. I simply allowed you to rest for a thousand years until this moment arrived in the astral plane, the world between worlds. I allowed you to live your dream life with Astraios and your two children Zephyrus and Mina. In your dream, it showed me that you were more than a princess. You are a warrior."

Elena hated what her own blood had done to her. Yet, she still loved her family even though she wished some of them to Hades sometimes. She could not live with herself if she allowed something awful to happen to her sister, Serena, and especially her daughter Mina.

Elena asked angrily, "What is it that you want from me?"

Lilith said, "To turn you into a warrior that will protect our world and save the bloodline. To create a super warrior that is powerful to withstand the power of the imperial silver crystal. If you succeed, the future generation of our family will be able to withstand the power of the imperial silver crystal."

Elena asked, "And how will you do that? You were not strong enough to defeat Ainia alone."

Lilith said, "You are right. Alone I was not strong enough but three times my strength I am." Elena gasped as a golden light resonated throughout the room as spirits of the moon queens of the past came out of the walls and encircled her. She looked around and saw her grandmother Serenity I. She saw her mother Queen Helena and wept as her mother smiled at her. She turned back to Lilith.

Lilith asked, "Will you take on this task Elena and preserve our birthright?"

Elena nodded.

Lilith's eyes turned golden along with Serenity I and Helena as the crescent moon symbol appeared on their foreheads. A golden triangle formed with Elena at the center of it. Her eyes turned golden as crescent moon system appeared on her forehead. Elena screamed as a golden light shot throughout her body. She ascended in the air along with her ancestors. Her clothes ripped off her body and she was naked before them. She lifted her hands through the air and called upon the power of silver imperial crystal.

It started to resonate in its capsule in the middle of the weapons' room. It was attached to the moon wand. It disappeared and reappeared before Elena and a powerful white light shot through her body. A golden transformation broach was created with crescent moon symbol craved on it. It attached to Elena's chest. Elena watched as her mother's spirit entered her power then her grandmother Serenity I and finally she merged with Lilith. The entire Moon started to erupt as a powerful earthquake ripped through the Moon frightened the citizens all over the moon. The top of the temple opened and a full moon appeared. Its moonlight shined throughout the temple and upon Elena's naked body.

Charisma watched as Elena performed a graceful ballerina dance in the air with her eyes still closed as red ribbons wrapped around her naked body. Her long golden hair turned silver as starlight and her hairstyle changed into two long odango-styled pigtails that stopped a few inches below her ankles. A white light shined blinding Charisma for a moment and white sleeveless bodice appeared on her body. A red ribbon appeared and a short sailor skirt appeared. She bended backwards and lifted her hands and long white gloves appeared on her arms. A golden tiara appeared on her forehead with a red ruby in the center and two red rubies appeared on her odangos along with dangling crescent moon earrings. She lifted her legs and tall red boots appeared on her feet with the crescent moon symbol on top of them. She gasped when the light went away and before her stood a beautiful warrior. She opened her eyes and had a serious expression of her face as she descended upon the ground.

Charisma asked amazed, "Who are you?"

Before Elena could speak, a large explosion erupted. Elena heard the scream of her sister from her supersonic ears. The palace was under attack. She looked in her hand and noticed that she had the moon wand in her hands and Selenity's was unprotected.

She said to Charisma, "Charisma, alert the kingdom that we are under attack. It is time to prepare for war."

Charisma cried out, "How!"

Elena raced out of the temple and ran very quickly through the forest. She leaped on top of tree branches and hopped from one branch to the next as she rushed towards the moon palace.

The palace was under attack as Ainia's army overpowered the moon's defenses and engaged in battle with royal armies as Astraios led his men in attacking the foreign intruders.

Serena and Mina woke up to the noise and snuck out of their room to find that everyone was fighting and became scared with they saw stranger men in dark masks kills anyone that came in their path even the servants.

Serena grabbed Mina's hand when one of Ainia's men stopped them and started chasing them. They ran through the hallways of the palace.

Selenity stood in the middle of her throne room looking through a large hole in the ceilings and seeing Queen Ainia in a long black leather gown holding a dark specter. Selenity was stunned to see that Ainia looked like her with long, dark odango-style pigtails and dark eyes. A black upside moon symbol appeared on her forehead. She wore a long, black sleeveless gown with a golden crown on her forehead with the dark moon symbol on her forehead.

Selenity asked angrily, "What is it that you want?"
Ainia said with an evil smirk, "To destroy every last one of Lilith's bloodline. To end the Moon dynasty forever."

Selenity said with a stern expression, "That will never happen." She called loudly, "Moon Silver Crystal, come to me." Her eyes' widen when she did not feel the presence of the Moon Crystal.

Ainia said, "I see your silver crystal has failed you." She held up her specter and pointed it towards Selenity. "Why don't you try the dark power of the dark crystal?" Black energy blasted from the specter that Selenity quickly dodged. Selenity was shocked when she saw the gigantic hole in the floor where she stood at. Ainia gave her and evil laugh.

Artemis and Luna raced out of the palace holding their swords as hundreds of members of the dark moon army and the royal army engaged in battle.

Astraios stood in the center slashing and killing dark moon soldiers left and right. He saw Luna and Artemis.

Astraios yelled loudly as he fought dark soldiers, "Artemis, Luna. Guard the queen and the children."

Artemis yelled at the king, "What about you?"

Astraios beheaded one of the dark moon soldiers and said, "I'll be fine."

Artemis and Luna rushed back in the palace and fought dark moon soldiers that got in their way.

Luna said, "It'll probably be faster in feline form."

Luna and Artemis transformed into feline forms. Artemis searched for the girls while Luna went after the queen.

Selenity asked as she continued to dodge Ainia's attack, "Why do you hate my family so much? You look such much like me." One of Selenity's legs were hit and wounded.

Ainia said, "Because everyone has a dark side. Good and evil were created to balance things out. Lilith's price for abandoning Adam was the creation of me, her dark side, her doppelganger… I am Satan's wife, the murderer of little children and infants. She did not have the power to kill me so she banished my people to another dimension."

Selenity cried out, "You're a monster!"

Ainia said, "No, Lilith was a monster when she murdered my children and killed my husband. I am paying her back from the hell she has caused me. Lilith's bloodline will die tonight."

"Mama!"

"Aunt Selenity!" Selenity's eyes widen when she turned to see Serena and Mina standing in the doorway holding hands in their night gowns.

"Serena, Mina, get out of here!"

Mina cried, "What's going on?"

Selenity yelled, "Get out of here, now!" Her eyes' widen when she saw a man with from the dark moon army behind the girls holding up a sword.

A sword went through the man's stomach and the man fell over. Luna and Artemis appeared behind the man. Selenity smiled. Luna grabbed Serena and Artemis grabbed Mina.

Artemis and Luna leaped out of the way with the girls in their arms when a dark energy ball came their way.

Artemis yelled, "Moon Solar Attack!" A white light illuminated throughout the room blinding everything. Ainia covered her eyes.

When Ainia uncovered her eyes, they were all gone. Ainia screamed.

Artemis placed an army around Selenity's waist. Luna created a path as she battle every dark moon soldier they came across as Serena and Mina followed behind.

Astraios looked along the steps of the palace as hundreds of royal army men still stood with bodies of the comrades and dark moon soldier on the ground around them. They breathed heavily as they saw thousands of dark moon army soldiers heading their way.

Astraios said heavily, "Men, if we died today. We died with honor knowing that we defended our wives and children. It's been an honor working with all of you. Now, let's send these demons back to Hades!" The men yelled as they charged towards the dark moon army with their swords held high ready to fight.

A golden flying disc knocked down the entire front row of the dark moon army. Astraios and his men halted in their tracks.

Astraios looked behind him on top of the steps of the palace and saw a beautiful woman dressed in a short version of a sailor outfit. She leaped into the air until she was landed next to him.

"Mind if I assist?"

Astraios asked confused, "Who are you?"

"I am the protector of justice and love. I am Sailor Moon!" The words reminded him of the night the Phantom Mask saved him.

Astraios was stunned when Sailor Moon produced the moon wand out of her sub pocket.

"Moon Cosmic Power!" The silver crystal's light came out of nowhere destroying the dark moon army with one swept of white light. The royal army halted in their tracks as they heard the screams of the dying men.

The thousands of men were annihilated. The wind blew her odangos behind her.

Astraios asked in amazement, "Selenity?" The strange woman leapt up and disappeared in thin air.

Astraios commanded to his men, "Guard the gates and make sure none of Ainia's men get passed." The men nodded as Astraios raced towards the palace.

Ainia yelled loudly killing every Lunarian in her path and blowing up everything in her path, "Selenity, what Lunarian queen runs from battle. Fight me weakling and die!"

Selenity hid against a wall along with Luna and Artemis at her side. Mina and Serena sat on opposite sides of her.

Selenity said weakly, "I must fight her."

Luna said, "You cannot your majesty. If you fight her, you will die and Ainia's wins."

Selenity looked down at Mina then said, "Maybe a new line should take over the moon dynasty."

"No, the right person has the job." Selenity looked up and saw a beautiful sailor soldier in front of her. Selenity looked into her eyes and gasped when she recognized who it was.

"Elena?"

She smiled.

Mina looked up and said, "Mommy?" When the warrior smiled, she knew it was her mommy. Sailor Moon knelt down to embrace her daughter. Serena looked fascinated at her aunt being a superhero.

Mina said backing up and looking at her, "Mommy, you're beautiful."

Elena smiled then said, "Thank you darling."

Elena looked at her sister and handed her back the moon wand. Selenity simply stared at it.

Elena said, "Sorry, I had to borrow it for a second."

She looked up at her sister and simply said, "I don't deserve it. You are ten times the queen I will ever be."

Elena smiled then said, "The crystal chose you, sister. You have to believe in yourself. My time has passed. This is your time. Let's defeat Ainia together and sent her straight to Hades."

Selenity smiled as her sister held out her hand. Selenity took it along with the moon wand and her leg started to heal. She stood up.

Ainia asked, "Moon wench, where are you?"

"We're right here!"

Ainia turned around and looked to see Queen Selenity standing with a woman dressed in a short version of a sailor's outfit.

She asked the strange woman, "Who the hell are you?"

Sailor Moon said, "I am Sailor Moon, the champion of the love and justice. In the name of the moon, I will right wrong and triumph over evil…and that means you!"

Ainia smirked. She blasted a black energy ball in front of them. Sailor Moon quickly moved in front of her sister and blocked the attack with her arms. Ainia was shocked. No one had ever survived her attacks.

Sailor Moon said with a smirk, "Now, it is my turn." She took off her tiara. She said as it formed a golden disc, "Moon Tiara Magic."

It flew towards Ainia. Ainia smirked at the puny attack. She said loudly, "I am invincible. Nothing can harm me!" Ainia screamed when the attack weaken her. The disc flew back to Sailor Moon's hand where she placed it on her forehead.

She yelled, "Selenity, now!"

Selenity pointed the Moon Wand towards Ainia and yelled, "Moon Cosmic power!" A powerful blast emerged from the silver crystal.

Ainia's eyes widen as she held out her hand a blast of dark energy shot out through her scepter.

The dark crystal started to overpower Selenity then it became stronger. She looked to her right and saw her sister next to her with her hand on the crystal. Selenity and Elena simply smiled at each other. Serena and Mina peeped through a hole in the wall as their mothers joined forces to stop Ainia. Astraios stood behind the girls and looked at Elena. Elena turned to Astraios and gave him a bittersweet smile. Astraios' eyes widen as he started to become misty. She then looked away from him.

Selenity and Elena then turned to Ainia with stern expressions. They shouted simultaneously, "Moon Cosmic Power Annihilation."

The energy of the silver crystal became more powerful. A confidence came over Selenity as she wielded the crystal overpowering Ainia. She did not see her sister start to fade away. She did not see her sister's spirit entering her body.

Elena whispered, "I will always be with you my love." She faded away as Selenity became stronger and blasted Ainia to smithereens. Everything faded to white.

When Serena and Mina uncovered their eyes, they saw Selenity still standing and Ainia was nowhere to be found. Serena rushed happily to her mother, who collapsed to her knees. Mina looked around and searched for her mother, but she was nowhere to be found.

She turned around and looked up at her Uncle Astraios and asked curiously, "Where is mommy, Uncle Astraios?"

Astraios collapsed to him knees and began to cry hysterically as he embraced Mina in his arms holding her tightly.

A week later, they held a burial for Elena in the Grave of the Moon Family. Selenity stood next to Astraios who held her hand while Serena grabbed Mina's hand. Artemis had an arm wrapped around Luna who rested her head on his shoulder with red eyes. Selenity looked at the graves of her sister, her father, her mother, her grandmother, and her great grandmother.

She simply said, "Thank you." She gasped when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up to see her husband Astraios smiling down on her. She smiled sadly at him. Serena and Mina closed their eyes as teardrops fell from them.

Mina wiped the tears from her eyes as she sat in front of the fire with her knees pressed against her chest and her arms wrapped around. "I feel sorry for her, Zack. Her life was so sad. Every ounce of happiness she had was taken away from her. It's not fair."

Zack looked sternly at the fire and said, "That still does not justify becoming a cold-hearted murderer."

Mina said enraged, "Why do you hate her so much, Zack?"

Zack felt rage rising in his body thinking about her. Zack took a deep breath and turned to Mina and said, "Mina, you haven't seen the real her. That woman is not your mother. Your mother died a long time ago. That woman is a monster with a beautiful face. She's evil, Mina. She will bring the destruction of Earth until every living human being is destroyed. She is Chaos."

Mina said shaking her head in disbelief, "I don't believe you. She's not a monster. I don't see her that way"

She could tell Zack was become frustrated with her as she sensed the tension in the room. She got up from the floor and rushed over to him. "Hello, love!" He looked startled. He remembered that voice. He turned to his side and saw Charisma sitting next to him at the bar except that she looked older and more mature. Zack smirked as he muttered to himself, "I emulated your perfectly."

Charisma asked, "What did you say?"

Zack smirked then said, "I saved you from being killed in the Silver Millennium."

Charisma cut her eyes and him and said flippantly, "Kidnapping me and leaving me in a shadow realm does not count as saving me from the destruction of the Moon Kingdom that happened two hundred years later." Zack shrugged his shoulders.

Zack turned to her and said, "You shouldn't have lied to me."

Charisma said, "As I said before, my loyalty lies with Elena."

Zack leaned towards her until their faces were inches apart. He said husky, "And when you made love to me in my bed, the stables, on the beach, and underneath the Earth, was that Elena's will?"

Charisma smirked at him then shook her head as she took a sip of her drink. She said changing the subject, "Meet me at sunrise. You know where. I have to get you out of this world and back into yours before Waru find you. He knows you are here and wants you and Mina dead."

Zack said arrogantly, "I don't run away from a battle."

Waru said, "He is ten times more powerful than you. He will squash you like a bug, kill you and your precious Mina." Zack cut his eyes at her for her emphasis on Mina's name then returning his eyes to his beer. "Probably torture and rape her for a little while, then bring you back to this realm and have you to spend the rest of the afterlife trying not to die again and burn for all eternity."

Zack said quickly changing his mind, "Meeting at sunrise sounds great."

A worried expression crossed Charisma's face. She asked, "So are you going to actually talk to her? She doesn't know that you are alive."

Zack said angrily, "I will not talk to that murderous bitch. She means absolutely nothing to me."

Charisma said, "Keep saying that and you might actually start to believe yourself." Zack frowned at her in a boyish way causing Charisma to smile.

Charisma added, "Elena was not always bad and we both know it. I don't see her that way."

Zack said angrily, "You're the second person that has told me that tonight."

Charisma snapped, "Then maybe you should listen."

Zack snapped frustrated, "Don't you get it. I've seen what she does. I cannot ignore it any longer. You will not interfere this time. Elena is beyond redemption. And when I see her again, I will kill her."

Charisma asked with a hint of skepticism, "Are you sure about that, Zephyrus?" Zack frowned at her emphasis of his name. "But you have my word that I will not interfere." She added intentionally,
"I always hated futile wars anyway." Zack frowned.

Zack said, "Elena is Chaos in the disguise of beauty. Every planet she lands on, she destroys. People love her and then she kills them while they still chant her name. I cannot allow Elena to harm anymore people."

Charisma said seriously, "She will kill you. You are not strong enough to defeat her."

Zack chucked down the rest of his drink then set the glass back on the counter. He said with a smile, "Then, I will die trying. Plus, who really wants to live forever. Immortality is so overrated." He stood up and said peeved, "Good night, Charisma. See you in the morning."

As Zack was about to walk out, Charisma said, "You sent Mina on a wild goose chase when you know that Endyimon is not here. You know she will hate you." Charisma gave him a knowing glance. Zack smirked as his angry for Charisma quickly melted as it always did.

Zack turned to Charisma and said, "I rather her hate me for all eternity than to live in a world without her. She is all I have left."

Zack walked out.

Charisma looked at the swinging doors and whispered, "No, she isn't."

Mina woke up as Zack walked back into their room. It was about one in the morning. Mina slowly sat up from the bed.

Mina quickly lit a candle. She looked startled as she saw that he looked a little disheveled with a few scratches on his face and hands. Mina ran to him and asked as she softly caressed his face and observed his hands, "What happened to you?"

Zack said amused at her worry, "I got into a little scuffle with a couple of youmas. They saw me leaving the bar."

Mina said upset, "This is serious, Zack. You could have gotten hurt."

Zack laughed, "I'm fine, Minako." She watched as he started to heal and the cuts and scratches disappeared. He laughed as he placed his hands on her cheeks. "See all healed."

Mina's eyes started to become misty. "You're an idiot, you know that."

Zack nodded his head smiling before pulling her into a tight embrace as she held him tightly.

Mina asked, "Sorry about acting human."

Zack said, "Sorry for acting like a god. Your trivial human problems do matter to me. Just promise to never tell me about your sex life again. That's just weird to me."

Zack's expression turned serious as he said, "Today, we go home."

Zack sighed and said, "I searched and there is no signs of him in this world."

Marina smiled as two boys played in the fields of her world with her as a little girl. They were looking for dandelions and rolling around in the fields and laughing. Marina smiled as the image started to fade away.

She turned towards Ragu and said, "They are at Kotu's Inn. They are planning to escape from the city tomorrow."

Ragu gave her a malice smirk and said, "Thank you, Marina."

Marina's eyes appeared as a group of men appeared behind him with dark and lusty red eyes. Marina panicked and then screamed. She cried out at Ragu as he vanished in front of her, "You liar!" She could hear his evil laugh as the men ravished her body as she screamed. They fucked her until her life force was gone and a portal from the hell dimension opened taking her and the demonic men with her.

Mina gasped as she looked out the window. Zack popped up on the bed that he was lying on.

"What?"

Mina said, "Marina's dead. They're here."

Zack and Mina looked at the door as they heard men trying to break it down. Mina looked at the window next to her.

Ragu and a group of youmas broke the door to find that Zack and Mina were gone. He yelled, "Find them! No one will rest until they are dead!"

The youmas separated and searched the city for them.

Mina and Zack hid behind a dumpster in the alley as hundreds of youmas searched the city for them.

Mina asked, "What do we do?"

Zack turned to Mina and said, "Stay alive until sunrise."

Mina peeped from behind the dumpsters at the youmas, "I don't think that we will survive that long."

"There! There they are!" A voice said out of nowhere as someone spotted them.

Zack grabbed Mina's hand as he looked up at a tall building. He placed his arm around Mina's waist and leaped up.

They landed on top of the building and began jumping from roof to roof as youmas chased them.

As they ran leaping off of rooftops, Zack turned to Mina.

He held out his hand. He said, "Trust me."

She nodded as she took his hands. A light of orange formed blinding the youmas. They continued to chase Mina and Zack across the roof tops. Down below hiding in an abandoned building, two men in dark cloaks and hoods covering their faces watched the two of them. When they took off their hoods, it was Mina disguised as a peasant girl and Zack with brown hair and brown eyes.

At sunrise, they met Charisma in the grassy plains of on the outskirts of the city. Her long wavy hair blew in the wind. She was wearing a black dress with long sleeves with angel sleeves.

She turned towards them and smiled when she saw them approaching her holding hands and chatting about something. She tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. They looked like their regular selves with their hair back to blonde.

When Mina recognized that it was Charisma, she broke free from Zack's gasp and ran towards Charisma embracing her.

Mina said, "Hey Charisma, it's been a while."

Charisma smiled holding Mina in a loose embrace and said with a big smile, "Wow, you look so beautiful. I haven't seen you since you were little. You're growing into such a beautiful young lady, princess."

Mina smiled and said relieved, "Thank God, it's you. I was afraid Zack was going to have us trapped in this ghost realm for all eternity." Charisma laughed as Zack frowned at the both of them.

Charisma sensing approaching danger coming closer said quickly, "There isn't much time before Waru finds you."

He stared at Charisma with concern. Zack asked, "What about you? Why aren't you upset with me?" Charisma remembered the human that she fell in love with, married, and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. When the child was a teenager, Charisma was banished from their tribe and accused of witchcraft for defying mortality. She left the Earth soon after and only returned in spiritual form when Elena needed her eyes to foresee future events.

Charisma smiled warmly at Zack and said, "Zephyrus, I'm fine. I'll be fine."

Mina looked at the skeptical look on Zack's face and gave Charisma a half smile.

She said turning to Charisma, "We're ready."

Charisma smiled as she held out her arm as her eyes turned golden. A white portal appeared. It grew larger as the winds around them became strong.

Charisma said, "Go now, they are coming after you."

Mina looked at Zack. He nodded at her. Mina leapt through the portal.

Charisma turned to Zack then said, "I cannot hold it much longer. You must go."

Zack slowly walked towards Charisma as Ragu spotted them with a group of youmas. He yelled, "There they are."

Zack lifted Charisma's chin and stared into her hazel eyes with his emerald ones. He descended towards her until their lips met in a sweet and soft kiss as they closed their eyes.

A white energy ball formed in Ragu's hands as he tossed it towards them. Charisma's eyes popped opened as she tried to push him away but he would not budge as the white energy ball headed their way. The white portal started to shrink in size.

Zack moved his lips away from Charisma then jumped through the portal with Charisma behind him. The portal disappeared and the energy ball blew up a tall tree.

Ragu folded his fist in anger.

They screamed as they fell through the white portal. When they came to a white light, they landed on their bottoms.

Charisma pushed Zack away from her and yelled angrily, "I'm going to kill you."

Mina stood in front of them as they stood up and looked around her. Tears fell from her eyes as she covered her mouth in horror.

She moved her hands from her mouth and asked, "What happened?" Charisma and Zack looked around them and saw the destruction around them. The Earth looked like a wasteland. Buildings were crumbled to the ground. Everything looked brown and grey. The grass was brown, patchy, and dead. A piece of paper flew towards her. She grabbed it and looked at it.

She looked at the date and saw it was ten years in the future.

Zack sighed then said, "This is what Elena does to a world." Mina looked around in disbelief.
