It was a combination of the Holy Moon Chalice and the Kaleidomoon Scope.

She smiled at Darien and said, "Dr. Shields. It's nice to finally meet you. You're practically a genius, and it saddens me that you choose to betray your kind for the weaklings."

Darien spit out angrily, "My loyalty belongs to the humans race. You choose to divide us."

Elena smirked then said, "Niece, he'll make a good pet for you. Would you like to keep him?"

Serena smiled as she gave Darien the once over. Serena asked, "To be a husband, your majesty?"

Darien gulped when they found themselves surrounded by Golden Army soldiers pointing laser guns at them. Sailor Mercury held out her arms as they started firing at them. The soldiers and the bullets froze around them until they shattered into glass. Mercury and Darien ran through them.

The gates to the palace started to close as the alarm was sounded. Mercury grabbed Darien's arm and leaped into the air over the thirty foot gate. They landed on the ground in crouch positions and began to run off.

Serena and Sammy appeared in front of the gate surrounded by soldiers.

Serena ordered, "Go to Juban Elementary School and go to her mother's house. She has a son named Greg, age ten, find him and bring him to us." The soldiers ran off.

Sammy disappeared along with Serena.

Raye and Lita heard his message. Raye and Lita warned their camps that the enemies knew their positions. Everyone scrambled to gather their belongings to leave the camp before the Golden Army found them.

Three days later, Darien, Raye, Ami, Lita, Ken, Mina, Charisma and Zack stood in undisclosed room. Sarah and Greg played with their toys off to the side. Lita and Ami looked at their children as everyone stood around the room quietly.

Ami said breaking the silence, "We have to kill her."

Everyone turned towards the door when a familiar person walked in bringing smiles to their faces.

With Serena's no longer guardian of the Earth or having the ability to transform into Sailor Moon, Judgment Day occurred."

Mina asked confused, "Are you telling me that if Serena had not relinquished her powers, Judgment Day would not have occurred?"

Artemis nodded, "Elena was not powerful enough to defeat Serena yet without the crystal she was only able to manipulate her. Serena had to relinquish control of the crystal before the solar eclipse in order for Elena's plan to work."

Raye asked, "So Elena had nothing to do with Serena's parents' death?"

Artemis shook her head. "We all have a pre-ordained day to die, but we all have free will. Serena may have never been the smartest of the group, but she had the biggest heart. Serena chose to believe Eric even though her eyes told her differently than what her heart felt for him."

Lita continued looking directly at Mina, "Elena broke Serena that day to the point that Serena hated herself. She jumped out of a thirty storied window to try to end her life. She should have died but she did not that day. Elena offered her to take the pain away if she would join her. Serena joined her and turned evil. Aquamarina joined them because she loved Sammy."

Raye added, "In a sense, the Serena that we knew and loved did die that day. Serena now has no remorse. She kills but she feels nothing. No sympathy. No anger. No pain. She is ruthless. For over five years, she wreaked terrors on Earthlings and have killed over a thousand Earthlings in cold-blood."

Mina, Charisma, and Zack's eyes widen.

Ami said emotionally, "Including my mother and my husband. She is evil. There's nothing there. We have to kill her."

Darien interjected, "Where do I play into this? I've never met this girl in my life."

Raye said emotionally, "Darien, you are the reincarnation of the Earth Prince Endyimon. You were Princess Serenity's lover and soul mate."

Darien laughed then said, "That's ridiculous. I'm no prince. I am just an orphan who lost his parents when he was six-years-old. I was raised by my grandfather until he died ten years later then I went off to college to become a doctor. Nothing special."

Artemis said, "You are the reincarnated prince of the Earth, Darien. You are just as important as anyone else in this room."

Zack said turning to Darien, "I hid your identity. Any heir or their descendants, Elena kills. If Elena were to find out that you were alive, she would have killed you. So I hired this kid to pretend to be you, but it looked like I caused more harm than good. I did not know that Elena would have used the boy to manipulate Serena."

Darien snorted in disbelief, "This is ridiculous."

Zack approached Darien. They stood face to face as Darien felt a lump in his throat feeling intimidated by Zack.

Zack said, "When you were six-years-old, you were riding in a car along the coast of San Francisco with your parents. Your father was driving while your mother was riding shotgun. You were in the backseat playing with your Power Rangers action figure. There was a large explosion and you woke up in your bedroom at your grandfather's house in Japan. He saw Zack.

Darien started to cry as Zack grabbed his shoulder and they teleported out of the car before it crashed and exploded. When Darien woke up the next day, he woke up to find his grandfather looking at him in amazement wondering how he got there then crying as he told him that his parents were dead and it was a miracle that he was there and alive.

Darien started to calm down and looked at Zack and said, "You saved me all those years ago."

Zack said, "I planted a kid at the hospital to pretend to be you to protect you from Elena and also give you a normal life."

Darien asked, "How did she not know about my grandfather?"

Zack answered, "Because your mother was adopted when she was an infant to a wealthy American family. Her records were sealed. She went by her adopted parents' last name. When she was eighteen, her adopted parents were killed in a plane crash coming from a vacation in the Philippines. When your mother was twenty, she went on a study aboard trip to Japan. She used it as an opportunity to find her biological parents. She was a very wealthy woman since her parents left her everything. She hired a private investigator and found her biological father, a man named Mamoru Chiba. He was a widow and his wife had recently passed. Her mother was an ex-girlfriend of his when he was a teenager. They had a short summer affair when her parents were vacationing in the country for the summer. By the end of the summer, her parents discovered their affair and broke up their relationship since she was from an affluent family and he was not. He never saw her again. We know if we could get Serena to return to our side, it is possible for Serena to get ahold of the crystal back from Elena and stop her. Yet, Serena is becoming worse than Elena."

Everyone became silent.

Raye said, "It's time to vote. All in favor of…." She said reluctantly, "Getting rid of Serena…say yay…" She looked at each one of them.

Darien felt sick in the pit of his stomach. He did not even know Serena before she kidnapped him. He did not know about them being soul mates but he felt something for her. He just did not know what it was. No one looked happy about the vote.

Darien stood on the outskirts of the camp looking out for potential threats. He held his rifle upright. Zack walked towards him. He sat down next to him and asked, "You seemed reluctant the other day about killing Serena. Why was that? You didn't know her until about a week ago and she tried to kill you and she killed your friend."

Darien sighed then said, "That puzzles me also. I just feel something weird towards her. I feel more pity for her than rage. I should hate her but something stops me from doing so."

Zack said, "You're bonded to her. I've seen Elena's assassins. She could have easily killed you. But something stopped her."

Darien asked confused, "What do you mean?"

Zack said, "I think deep down inside she still has feelings. You cracked something in her."

Darien looked at Zack strangely.

Zack said in deep thought, "You can save her. Save her before the girls combined their powers and kill her."

Darien asked, "How?"

Zack looked behind him at Charisma playing with a group of children and fascinated them with silly magic tricks. He smiled warmly then said, "By loving her."

Darien said, "I don't know anything about this girl."

Zack said, "Follow your heart. Get her to fall in love with you. Bring her back to our side."

Darien asked skeptical, "Wouldn't that be the same thing that Eric did? That'll be cruel."

Zack asked, "Do you care about Raye or is she just a fuck buddy?"

Darien said offended at Zack bluntness, "I care about her."

Zack said, "If the sailor soldiers kill Serena, they will die also. It was a rule created by the ancestors of the moon when the sailor soldiers came into existence. If a Senshi kills another Senshi, then that Senshi will die. It was meant to protect Sailor Moon. Without Serena, they will lose their powers and die. The Sailor Senshi were created by Queen Selenity and the silver crystal to protect Serena not harm her. This mission is a suicide mission."

Darien said nervously, "I have to warn them…"

Zack said, "Don't…if all else fail, we have no choice."

Darien became quiet for a moment absorbing everything Zack told him. He thought about Raye. Even though he was not in love with Raye, he cared about her very deeply. He nodded then said, "Ok I will do it."

Zack gave him a lukewarm smile. Darien got up from his position. Zack looked at Darien and looked unhappy. He sighed deeply.

Serena lied in her bed asleep in a red pajama set. She heard a knock on the door. She looked at her clock. It was one in the morning. She groaned in frustration.

She said loudly as she walked to the front door, "Diamond, if you want booty call at one o' clock in the morning, go home."

She opened the door and looked stunned. It was Darien. She looked dumbfounded as they stared into each other's eyes.

Serena asked, "Why are you here? You escaped."

Darien said sternly, "I am here to turn myself over to the law. I now know that what I did was wrong. I want to help you stop the resistance."

Serena cut her eyes at him and said disbelieving, "What can you tell me loverboy that I don't already know?"

Darien said, "I can tell you that the Sailor Senshi are planning to kill you." Serena looked stunned.

Zack burst into Raye's tent in panic. Raye, Lita, Ken, Ami, and Mina stared at him. Zack said out of breath, "Darien, he betrayed us. He ratted you guys out to Serena."

Charisma ran in after him worried.

Raye looked hurt then said as all eyes were on her, "Then Darien must die also."

Ken pounded his fist against the table and said, "Damn it! We can't keep running. I'm sick of this. For Christ stakes, we lost one hundred and twelve people coming here alone!"

Lita massaged her husband's back.

Raye turned to Ken and said, "You're right. It's time to stop running and start fighting. If the human race is going to be extinct, let's give them a hell of a fight."

Ami said seriously, "How long do we have until Elena arrives?"

Artemis said walking in, "Three days give or take."

Lita said, "Then we start training the refugees to fight."

Mina asked, "There are like one hundred thousand Golden soldiers to our twenty thousands."

Raye said with a wicked smile, "Then we even the score."

Serena looked confusedly as she sat across her sofa looking at Darien, who simply stared at her. He asked, "So are you going to stare at me all night or what?"

Serena simply stared at him.

Serena heard a knock on the door. A male voice yelled, "Open up Serenity Tuskino. You are under the arrest for harboring a fugitive and conspiring against your queen."

Serena's eyes widen when she saw helicopter's lights shining through her window.

She said angrily, "You set me up." The door burst opened. The helicopter started shooting through the windows shattering the glass. Serena and Darien jumped out of it the way and hid behind the loveseat as the soldiers fired at him.

Serena said angrily, "I am going to kill you…"

Darien said confused, "I didn't do this…" Serena grabbed a pistol out of her nightstand in front of her and quickly loaded it.

Serena said, "On the counter of three, we are going to make a run for it."

Serena began to count. Darien looked at her like she was crazy.

On the count of three, she stood up and started firing at the shoulders as she charged towards them fighting them and disarming them at the same time until she had an opening to run out. Darien followed her as the helicopter kept shooting at them. They race down the hallways as the soldiers chased them.

Serena saw a large window at the end of the hallway as the soldier chased after them and fired gun shots. Serena looked in horror as she glanced over for a split second at Darien and took his hand. She jumped through the window as glass shattered around them. They were falling headfirst eighty stories down.

Darien yelled. Serena's eyes turned dark as large black wings appeared on her back.
She grabbed Darien's hand and led them through the clouds for shelter. The helicopter fired out them. Darien turned back to see it was hot of their trail.

He said loudly, "Serena!"

She said angrily, "I know!" She stopped in midair stunning the helicopter pilot. A large black energy ball formed in her hands. She tossed it at the helicopter causing a large explosion blowing them backwards in the air.

Darien lost consciousness as he separated from Serena and fell towards the Earth.

Darien woke up hours later on a beach in the middle of nowhere. He groaned as he slowly stood up. He saw Serena's body floating in the water. Her wings had disappeared. He automatically panic running into the water to bring the girl on land. He carried her lifeless body in his arms and carefully lied her down on the beach.

He felt a weak pulse and performed CPR on her. She did not respond. He continued to perform CPR until she started to cough up water. He cradled her in his arms allowing her to inhale fresh air.

She looked around him then up at him confusedly.

She slowly pulled away from him and crawled backwards until she was good distance away from him. She brought her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around them.

He held his hands up in surrender. He said, "I mean you no harm. I just saved your life."

Serena said angrily, "You made me a fugitive."

Darien said in disbelief, "I did not. I simply wanted to turn myself in."

Serena stood up. Her lips were blue and he could tell she had hypothermia. She said shivering, "I saved your life. You saved mines. Now, we are even."

Darien said, "You can die if you don't get some heat."

She screamed, "I'm fine. Leave me alone!" He jumped then she collapsed on the ground. He rushed towards her. He saw a cave not far from them. He quickly gathered wood to start a fire. He rubbed the stick together until a small fire started. He quickly stripped her out of her wet clothes and took his off too. He rubbed his body heat against her to warm up her freezing body.

The next morning Serena groaned as she turned to find herself wrapped in Darien's arms. She looked confused at him. They were naked. She wondered for a second if he touched her, but she felt she could trust him. She saw the fire dying down. She then figured that he saved her life again.

Darien slowly woke up. He looked around and saw that the fire had died down and Serena was gone. He looked downcast. He quickly sat up looking outside at the beach as the waves moved against the wind on the bright, sunny day.

"Thank you…"

He turned around and saw that Serena was sitting on a rock behind him in her pajamas that were now dry.

He said, "You're welcome."

Serena asked searching his eyes, "Are you sure that you did not betray me?"

Darien nodded. Serena sighed then said, "I guess I have to believe you then."

Serena said, "We should stay hidden until nightfall then sneak out the city. If Elena catches us, we'll be hung at sunrise."

Darien asked confused, "But you're her niece?"

Serena shrugged her shoulders. "It's only a technicality to her. Elena only cares about power. She has no allegiance to her people or family."

Darien asked, "Then why do you fight for her?"

Serena asked, "Because the alternative is facing the monster that I've become in the mirror. With her, there is no consequence. No failure. I've never failed her until I met you."

Darien asked, "Is that a bad thing?"

Serena said skeptically, "I'm not sure."

Raye spent the next few days helping to teach some of the resistance how to fight, while Ami taught others how to build weapons. Lita taught the children how to defend themselves. Artemis taught Diana, Sarah, and Greg to harness their powers. Ken helped build a defense to stop the soldiers in their tracks.

Serena looked up at the stars in the sky. She had Darien's jacket wrapped around her.

He stood behind her and asked, "So is Diamond your boyfriend?"

She turned towards him and said, "He wants to be, but he's just useful to me for a good occasional screw." She started to walk off.

Darien said following after her, "So that's all you think men are good for?"

Serena smirked then said, "Besides the occasional fuck and sperm for procreation, there is no purpose for you."

Darien asked, "So you are a feminist and a bitch?"

Serena stopped in her tracks. She turned to him until they stood face to face. Serena said, "I can snap you in half if I wanted to. Just because you saved my life doesn't make us equal. It only makes me a little less willing to kill you but if you don't shut up, I will rip your tongue out of your mouth."

Darien said, "I'm not him. He was pretending to be me."

Serena rolled her eyes then said, "Your looks do not mean anything to me. All men are the same." She started to walk off.

Darien said, "No, they are not. I'll prove myself to you."

Serena rolled her eyes and walked off.

Sammy stood in Elena's chambers as she paced the floor angrily. Elena yelled outrage, "I want her found and brought to me."

Sammy said, "Aunt Elena, Serena is no threat to us. She is being framed probably by the resistance. They are trying to cause a rift between you and Serena."

Elena turned towards Sammy and said yelled, "Never compare that skinny little twit to me. She is nothing to me! The crystal chose me! And it's your majesty!"

Sammy's temper started to flare. He said angrily, "Yes, your majesty."

Elena said, "Find her and bring her to me." She turned away from him.

Sammy asked, "So you could kill her after my sister and I have killed thousands in your name?"

She turned towards him and said, "Betray me little boy, and I will sent you straight to hell."

Sammy bowed and walked out.

Aquamarina appeared. Elena said, "Follow him. Let me know when he makes contact with his sister." Aquamarina nodded and disappeared.

Sammy stood in his shower as he let the hot water jet over his body. He was in disbelief. Elena wanted him to betray his sister for her. He knew that Serena was loyal and would never betray their aunt but Elena was unreasonable and selfish. She only cared about herself and loyalty meant nothing to her when she could not use you anymore.

Sammy walked out of the shower with a towel wrapped around his waist. He was about six foot one with a muscular frame and built like a football player. He did not have an ounce of fat on him. He walked into his bedroom and jumped.

He cried out, "Jesus Christ, sis!" He grabbed a cushion off a nearby chair. He felt naked in just a towel.

He saw Serena sitting on his bed with her legs cross in her pajamas while Darien stood neared the opened window in deep thought as he stared out it.

Serena laughed. "Sammy, I used to change your diapers." She added nonchalantly. "Plus, I've seen many over the years."

Sammy said outrage and turned red, "Serena, I could have lived without knowing that about my sister." He grabbed a t-shirt and jeans and went back in the bathroom.

He said loudly, "Elena wants me to find and kill you!"

Serena said loudly, "I know. I've been set up. I don't know by whom!"

He said coming out of the bathroom in a t-shirt and jeans, "Probably by your aunt. It looks like you have become irrelevant now."

Serena said looking off the side, "She doesn't need us anymore. Once she defeated the resistance, the Earth will be hers and she'll be able to recreate her moon kingdom here on Earth."

Sammy looked up at Darien and asked, "Why is he here?"

Serena said turning to Darien, "He claims he's surrendering himself to me. Yet when he came I was accused of harboring a fugitive. He tells me he did not do it. I'm inclined to believe him."

Sammy snorted. "Like you believed the other one."

Serena snapped at her brother and said, "He saved me twice. He could have easily let me die."

Sammy said as he held his hand up as an energy ball started to form, "It's probably a trick."

Darien interrupted their chatter, "It's your girlfriend." Sammy's energy ball vanished.

Sammy and Serena looked at Darien in confusion. Darien glanced at Sammy. "The girl with the white hair is spying on you."

Sammy bit out angrily, "How would you know?"

Darien said, "Because while you guys have been playing the blame game, soldiers have been mobilizing around your apartment complex led by the quirky girl."

Sammy and Serena rushed towards the window and saw they were surrounded by hundreds of soldiers.

Serena said looking down, "I'm sorry I got you into this."

Sammy smiled, "She would have killed me anyway at least now I have a fighting chance." Serena and Sammy looked at each other and smiled.

Sammy said, "You're ready."

Serena nodded. Her clothes changed into a blue strapless micro mini dress with stilettos. Darien started to become aroused looking at her.

Sammy laughed, "She toying with you, Darien."

Sammy and Serena walked towards Sammy's wall. Darien glanced down to see that Serena had grabbed his hand. She winked at him. Darien gulped as Sammy disappeared through the wall. He did the same holding Serena's hand.

They could hear soldiers bursting into his apartments and helicopters' lights flashing through his windows.

Darien did not know if he was more amazed that he just walked through a wall or they were in a secret arsenal room that contained hundreds of guns, knives and weapons.

They loaded up on guns, knives, and grenades. Sammy packed a duffle bag and loaded it with guns and ammunition.

Sammy asked, "Are you ready?"

Serena said with a nodded loading a pistol, "Yes!" A dark energy ball formed in Sammy's hand. He blasted a large hole in the wall causing a loud explosion. The soldiers in his bedroom started firing at the wall.

He saw cables that led to the elevator. He jumped down catching the cables followed by his sister then a reluctant Darien. Darien screamed as they landed on top of an elevator. Sammy lifted over the vent on top of the elevator. They jumped down into an empty elevator. Sammy pressed the floor level.

They made it to the exit to find out that they were surrounded by hundreds of soldiers led by Aquamarina.

Sammy frowned. He asked angrily, "Why?"

Aquamarina said, "Partially because I'll never be as special as she is to you." She pointed to Serena.

Sammy said turning from his sister to Aquamarina then said, "You're right. You never will be." He tossed something into the air.

The soldier looked down and saw a grenade on the ground. They started to scatter but some were still killed in the explosion. When the smoke cleared, Aquamarina looked around and saw they were gone.

She said cheerfully, "Find them then kill them!" The soldiers searched for them.

Sammy, Serena, and Darien leaned against a wall in the shadows as soldiers rushed past them.

Sammy said, "We have to get out of this city."

Serena turned to Darien, "Darien, I need you to tell me where the resistance camp is?"

Darien asked angrily, "So you could get in Elena's good graces again while my people become extinct?"

Serena said looking into his angry eyes, "I have no desire to hurt any more humans. We have to end this tonight or the Earthlings will be extinct."

Sammy rolled her eyes and said, "Elena going to annihilate the rest of the humans tonight. With Serena and I there, at least they stand a chance. We are in the same category as you. You honestly think she will let Serena live to see the birth of the new Moon Kingdom. She is a threat she wants to get rid of. It's your call Darien. Either way, everything ends tonight."

Darien hesitated for a moment then nodded. Darien said, "Follow me." He checked to see if the coast was clear before he led them off.

Ken and Lita sat cuddled together as Sarah slept on their laps. Ken softly kissed his wife's lips. Ami ran her fingers through her son's brown hair as he rested his head on his lap.

Raye talked about strategy with the resistance fighters.

Zack stood on the post looking out for a potential threat.

Zack said looking out at the stars, "Tomorrow, I'll use the last of my powers. I'll be completely human if I live to see it."

Charisma stepped next to him leaning against the railing. Zack smiled guiltily knowing what Charisma was going to ask him.

Charisma turned to him and said, "I spoke with Mina. She told me that you cloned me. I told you not to clone me again. I will not be used for your sexual amusement."

Zack said rambling on very quickly, "I didn't. I need to distract Elena, as long as possible, from knowing that I was covertly helping to create a resistance against her before the Sailor Senshi' involvement and to protect Darien by making Elena believe that Eric was really Darien. So I created several versions of you to spy on Eric and Serena. The first one I created specifically to spy on Eric since I figure out that I could no longer trust him. So I used the first Charisma to feed false information to Elena about me created some super humanoid race when I was really helping the Sailor Senshi form a resistance against Elena. When I figured out that she had fallen for Eric and may betray me, I killed her and created the second Charisma. I used her primarily to distract Eric and awakened Sailor Moon. I'll admit that she was slightly slutty, kind of evil, and wanted to kill Serena. So when Serena awakened as Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon killed Charisma. Eric turned psychotic and suffered from multiple personality disorder and post traumatic syndrome, and then Darien's manifestation of Charisma started to come to life. It turned into a huge and baffling mess." Zack sighed then added. "I used to be this all powerful god who could easily create life and destroy it. Now, my powers are out of whack and I'm slowly losing them."

Charisma interjected, "So picking a human whose history included a backwards family that worshipped Elena and suffered child abuse from his psychotic child serial killer uncle/father did not give you any red flags? And Elena and I have known each other for almost three thousand years. She knew that wasn't me."

Zack frowned then said, "Hey, I offered him everything that any guy would want and he chose to dig into the past." Zack said, "I know that you are loyal to Elena so I created the phony Charisma as the reincarnated version of you in this world. The Charisma that I recreated was your great granddaughter Charisma Grey named after you and her mother's name was Susana named after your mother."

Charisma's eyes widen, "With the human that I mated with one hundred years ago in Sudan?"

Zack nodded then said, "Apparently, you had a bloodline. It ended when Charisma died while held in captivity by the magician, Eric's uncle/father."

Charisma remained silence for a moment.

Charisma said, "Humans are always the most difficult to duplicate because they are complex creatures with so many layers especially the human's soul. I sensed that you are losing your powers. Being around humans for too long weakens us soon you'll be mortal."

Zack had a perplexed look on his face as if he was pondering something. Charisma looked at Zack. She could tell he wanted to ask her something but was afraid to. Charisma prompted, "What is it?"

Zack said with a worried frown, "I always thought you died during the attack on the moon. You were killed by Metallica on that voyage to Mars."

Charisma said, "I faked my death. At that time, Queen Selenity forbid Lunarians from leaving due to the increase in murders of travelling Lunarians. I never left the moon and the queen sent me to Mars to inquire about the rumors of an uprising against the moon. Our ship was ambushed by the Metacilla's army. The queen did not know that I had learnt the power of teleportation over the years. Mars was a close enough proximity for me to teleport there. So before the vessel exploded I teleported to Mars and disguised myself as a Martian. I lived the next thousand years on my own not answering orders to a crown."

Zack said, "When I saw you help Serena from those hoodlums that night, I thought Elena had reawaken you like Lilith did to her."

Charisma shook her head. She then said, "No, I am very loyal to the royal family even though I don't necessarily agree with their methods all the time."

Charisma said mischievously, "I only helped her avoid you."

Zack laughed, "When did I become the bad guy?"

Charisma smiled then said, "The day you declared yourself the savior of us all and Elena's judge, jury, and executioner."

Zack sighed, "The world is about to come to an end at the hands of your mistress, and you refused to give up on her."

Charisma said, "I never give up on anyone, even you."

Charisma turned and noticed Mina standing off in the distance staring at them. Zack turned around and saw her.

Charisma said looking at Mina staring at Zack, "Are you going to tell her the truth?"

Zack did not respond. Charisma said, "Well, futile wars aren't my thing. So I'm about to clock out. Good-bye, love."

Charisma started to walk off.

Zack smiled leaning against the railing smiling at her. He said with a smirk, "Until next time."

She turned her head and said with a hint of sadness, "There won't be a next time." The smirk disappeared from Zack's face. For the first time in his long life, he faced his mortality and it scared him. Charisma gave him a lukewarm smile as she vanished into thin air.

Mina approached Zack as he quickly placed on a happy façade for her.

Mina asked, "Why did you send me to the Shadow Realm?"

"I knew what would happened if Serena failed. I didn't want to lose you in the crossfire."

"Ten years of my life are gone. I haven't aged. Shouldn't I be in my twenties like the other girls? Why am I still a teenager?"

Zack turned to Mina. "I don't know, Minako. All I know was that I glanced into this planet's future after Judgment Day and saw you weren't there. What would you have become if you would have been remained here? Would you have been dead? Would you have become like Serena or joined the resistance? I don't know the answers to those questions. All I know is that I love you, Minako and could not imagine a future without you in it. I love you, princess….and if you hate me for all eternity…"

Mina interrupted, "Thank you." Zack looked stunned as Mina simply smiled at him.

Zack asked confused, "You're not upset with me for lying."

Mina shook her head. "Elena lied to me to protect my perception of her, but you only ever lied to protect me." Zack smiled at her.

Mina looked to the stars next to the man whom she grew to love like a brother. She thought about the questions that he asked. "I would like to say that I would have helped my friends, but I do love my mother." She smiled at him. "I am tired of pretending that I don't."

Zack said, "There is nothing wrong with loving her. I don't think I ever want you to see her the way I see her."

Mina tilted her head and said, "So this fight is between mother and Serena?"

Zack nodded then said, "This is Serena's battle to fight."

They heard an outcry in the center of the camp. They looked to see what was going on. When they moved through the crowd, they were surprised to see in the center of the camp was Serena, Sammy, and Darien standing in the middle of the camp with hundreds of guns pointed at them.

Darien gulped nervously. Sammy stood with an emotionless face while Serena stared at her old friends. Lita looked shocked as she wrapped her hands tightly around her daughter. Ami held her son's hands and stared at Serena with icy blue eyes while Serena and Raye locked eyes with one other. Serena glanced at Darien then back at Raye. Serena saw the hurt and betrayal in her old best friend's eyes.

Raye asked, "Why are you here?"

Serena said, "I want to help."

Serena's eyes widen as she glanced at Ami who held out her hand. She felt her body becoming cold. She glanced down to see her body was quickly turning to ice from her feet upwards. She gasped for air as the ice reached her neck. She turned into an ice statue.

Ami let go of Greg's hand and charged towards Serena yelling, "Die, you cold-hearted bitch!"

Darien cried out, "Ami no!"
