"Yes. You will technically become a demon, but what kind I am has no effect on what kind you will be. You choose that, sort of." Sakura looked down toward her completed chain of flowers and placed it on Kagome's head before speaking once more. "Your demon type will be dependent on who you mate. Meaning if you mate a wolf you will be wolf, inuyoukai will be inu, and so on. Although, if you marry a human…"
"What will happen then?" Kagome's expression was unreadable, afraid of the answer.
"I don't know." Sakura replied, simply. Her expression was grim.
Sesshomaru sat with his back against the wall, eyes down. It was almost as if he were sleeping, but he was fully awake. Suddenly his eyes shot open and looked in the direction of Kagome's body. Something was different. Very different. Something had changed.
