HER NAME IS ARANDI

Dean laid wide awake, Arandi sleeping soundly on his shoulder and he held her afraid to let her go, afraid to sleep and wake up to find that it was all a dream.

He would go insane if he ever lost her again.

She had ground the most unbelievable orgasm out of him and his legs were still trembling. He really had thought that he would never see her fall apart like that again or hear her needy little moans that would probably make him come all their own.

"I'm not going anywhere." She said quietly.

"Was I thinking that loud?"

"Your heart was whispering to me."

"He's only supposed to tell you how much I love you."

"He was."

They kissed lazily and made sweet, gentle perfect love as the sun came up.

Arandi had been first up, freshly showered she headed to the kitchen while he took his shower.

He made his way to the kitchen and leaned against the doorway watching her bustling around making breakfast.

She was humming to herself and Dean wondered if she knew it the very first song that they had danced to together.

"You are a sexy ass stalker." She smiled when she saw him.

"All this talk about how hot I am is going to go to my head." He grinned as she got on her toes to kiss him.

"Yeah but which head?" She grinned back tapping his crotch lightly but it still made him jump and squeal like a girl.

"Need some help?"

"Nope I'm almost done. Just have a seat my king."

She placed the eggs on the table along with bacon and toast. She put a large cup of coffee in front of him while she fixed a small cup of decaf to her liking.

He stared at the coffee then at her.

She raised an eyebrow. "Something wrong?"

He thought of all the times they had gone out to eat and he had refrained from ordering coffee because she couldn't drink it. The doctor had just recently okayed her to have one small cup of decaf for her breakfast.

"Did Sam tell you how I take my coffee?"

She stopped stirring her cup and stared at his cup now. "No I just knew." She smiled huge. "I just knew." She repeated and neither of them dared to hope that it was a sign.

She rambled on and on through their breakfast and Dean just smiled and listened because he could listen to her for hours.

She got up and grabbed a pad of paper and a pen from a drawer and began making a list. "When was the last time you went grocery shopping? We need to stock up on everything."

Dean couldn't quite get his mouth to close.

She looked at him. "Sorry I just assumed that we would you know…." She stared at her toes.

Dean was out of his seat lifting her up off the floor and sitting her on the counter, getting between her legs. "Do you know how much ass kissing I thought I was going to have to do to get you to move in here with me again?"

"No ass kissing just lots and lots of hot, wild, voice losing sex."

He was painfully hard in milliseconds.

"Roses every other week, dinner out at least twice a week, diamonds wouldn't hurt either." She teased.

"Like these." He whispered.

Arandi stared wide eyed at the ring he made appear out of nowhere.

"I wanted to make this so much more romantic than this and everything I thought of I just panicked and…" He took a deep breath. "I love you Arandi and I want you with me for forever and beyond. Will you?"

She began to kiss him everywhere.

Dean laughed loud and happy. "I take that as a yes." He squawked very unmanly like as she knocked him to the floor and boy he was so glad that he had mopped the day before.

She was glowing and Dean couldn't get enough of seeing her like that. He knew that he had to be glowing too because just overnight he had her back in his bed, back in his home, and she was now his fiancé.

They walked hand in hand through the farmer's market buying fresh everything. She was getting every type of fruit she could get her hands on and Dean only smiled.

"Oh baby can you please go over there and get me a couple of those cantaloupes?" She said.

Dean wandered over to the cantaloupes and began to try to find her the sweetest ones.

"Leave me alone!" He heard Arandi cry out moments later.

Dean rushed to her only to find Luka holding on hard to her arm.

"You said that you couldn't get pregnant? Did you just say that so that I would leave you?" Luka was yelling at her.

Dean shoved him back hard and got in front of Arandi who was now super upset. "What the fuck Luka!" He could see Jo with a baby not too far off.

"She doesn't have to lie or act like such a bitch."

Dean pulled Arandi into his arms. "She doesn't remember you, you fucking moron! She was shot in the head. She has amnesia."

Luka blanched visibly. "I didn't know."

Dean was so ready to rip into him but Arandi gasped and grabbed her stomach. "Arandi?"

"Get me out of here please." She begged.

One of the ladies that was selling fruit quickly grabbed their things and followed. They knew Dean as a police officer so they knew that he would be back.

Dean barely heard Luka say that he would take care of it and apologize for upsetting Arandi.

He got her into the truck. "Baby you want to go home or do you need the hospital?" He got no reply. "Arandi!" Her head lolled to the side and Dean was glad that he still had his siren and lights on his truck.

Arandi lay on her side curled up sound asleep and Dean watched her gently running the back of his fingers across her cheek. She sighed and said his name softly.

She had only fainted from the sudden shock to her system and she had been prescribed five days of complete bed rest because her blood pressure was too high.

Every one of their friends had been by to drop off food and things they would need because everyone knew the Dean wouldn't leave the apartment the entire time.

They had more than enough food and all the fruit they had gotten. Dean had no appetite not until she was by him eating that fruit she had been craving.

He smiled and went quietly. He had some fruit to cut up and make special for her so it would be ready for her when she woke up.

He woke with a start alone on the bed and he jumped up already panicking thinking that it had finally happened, he had finally woken up to her being gone.

His chest loosened up when he saw her on the balcony staring at something in her hands.

"You're supposed to be in bed." He said.

"I just needed a bit of air."

Dean saw then that she was holding the hairpiece that had saved her life.

"Jade told me that you gave me this for my birthday before we hooked up. It's so strange and miraculous that something that seems so fragile saved my life."

"I was surprised that you still had it because I thought I had made you hate me." He said the images of sending her away flashing through his mind.

"I don't think I could ever hate you." She smiled.

"I pushed you pretty damn close."

She sighed holding the hairpiece to her chest. "Take me to bed." She said in a purr.

"Arandi I don't think….."

Here wide blue eyes looking up at him through her lashes and those fucking pouty ass lips would be the end of him someday.

"You so don't play fair." He groaned.

"Says the one standing there in nothing but his boxers, all sexy bare chest and those green eyes that just make me a pile of heated flesh."

He smiled, batted his lashes, and flexed and she growled.

He loved her he really did but one thing had changed drastically in her and that was her losing her temper at the drop of a dime. The tiniest things would set her off especially if had anything to do with her memory.

So whatever he had been telling her which he didn't even remember now and then he had said, "Don't you remember?" Was all it took.

"No I don't remember!" She yelled. "Why do you want me? I'm not her I'm not the same Arandi!"

"Don't say that. You're still Arandi and I love you."

"Do you love me Dean? Would you even be here if I wasn't pregnant?"

Dean was feeling the end of the rope come up fast. "Don't ever doubt that I love you. You want to throw a two your old tantrum every time that something doesn't go your way go ahead but don't fucking dare accuse me of not loving you!" He stopped himself short of going on a roll. He grabbed his jacket and slammed the door behind him. He needed to get some air before he said something he really didn't mean.

When he got outside he sighed. It was raining hard. "Fuck it." He mumbled and headed out anyway.

Dean had to step into a café when the rain really came down. He sat sipping on some coffee and trembling because the café still had their AC blasting.

He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and sighed. He didn't even know what to say to her. He shouldn't have opened his mouth. She was pregnant after all. He'd read pregnant women had more meltdowns than cheese and he shouldn't have let her push him.

It was Sam calling him though.

"Hey Sam."

"Dean what's going on?"

"Did Arandi call?" Dean asked tiredly.

"No Cam did. He was worried because he heard yelling and slamming doors and breaking glass. Jade called Arandi and didn't get an answer….."

Cam was Dean's nosy neighbor. Dean threw money on the table and rushed out the door. "I'm not home right now Sam we had a fight and there was no breaking glass while I was there. I'll call you back as soon as I find out if she's ok. I shouldn't have left like that." He hung up and ran faster.

The apartment was completely dark when he made it back. He walked in quietly and turned up the lights until he could see enough to get through the living room.

He checked every room and found no sign of Arandi and his heart began to race. She shouldn't be out in this weather. He found the broken glass in the kitchen. A water pitcher was shattered all over the floor.

He could see Arandi trying to pour herself a glass of water and losing her grip from trembling and getting even more upset.

He needed to find her make sure that she had eaten. He headed back into the living room to call her phone until he saw it lying on the table by the sofa. It was then he noticed the balcony door was half open.

He stepped outside and his heart nearly stopped. Arandi was curled up in the furthest corner of the balcony, well as curled up as she could get with her pregnant belly. Her head lolled to the side.

Dean was at her side instantly. "Arandi, baby please." He said scared out of his wits.

Her eyes fluttered open and she looked at him tiredly. "You left." She whispered brokenly.

"I needed some air, I'm sorry I just don't like to see you so upset."

"I'm sorry too, you try so hard and I take things out on you please forgive me."

"Done baby now let's get you inside. You feel ok?" He asked worriedly.

"I'm just so tired."

"Come on then let's get you inside and too bed." He said helping her to stand.

While she had managed to stay dry, she was still trembling and Dean realized he was trembling too. He was soaked through from head to toe.

"You're wet." She said as she touched him.

"Yeah but I'll be fine after a warm shower and some hot chocolate."

XXXXXXXXXXXXX

Arandi had joined him in the shower and they had made up quite effectively. He had made them the hot chocolate after cleaning up the mess, made sure that Sam and Jade knew that all was well and then they had fallen asleep wrapped up together.

Dean sat up suddenly during the night and made a mad dash to the bathroom. Everything he had eaten and drank that afternoon made its way back up until he was gasping for air.

Arandi did her best to comfort him and gave him some water. "My God Dean you're burning up." Her guilt went up a few notches. Dean had gone out into the rain because of her.

She got him some fever reducer and help him clean up and led him back to bed. Dean was out like a light in seconds.

Arandi sat in tears as she tried to get Dean to calm down but was afraid that he would accidently hit her. He was caught up in awful nightmare and it didn't take her long to figure out that he was reliving the night she got shot, the night he thought she had died. In a way she had.

He had suffered so much and he didn't deserve her childish tantrums. Seeing him like this made her thankful that she could not remember that night.

He loved her and seeing his reliving his heartbreak cemented it and made her cringe on her doubts. He loved her more than she deserved.

She realized that his fever had only gotten higher and he was starting to cough. She knew that she wasn't going to be able to do this alone.

Dean sat up trying to breathe. He felt as if a herd of elephants were parked on his chest. He heard a gurgling sound and realized soon that it was coming from him.

He felt large hands on him and he opened his eyes. "Sammy?" He cringed at how awful he sounded to himself.

"Hey bro take it easy. Arandi called me because you got really sick."

"Is she ok?"

"Yeah just worried about you. You've been pretty out of it for a couple of days."

"Has she eaten?" Dean asked even as the room spun around him.

"Jade is getting after her. You're the one that hasn't kept anything down." Sam said exasperated.

Dean started to cough, his ribs ached as if he'd been beaten with a bat and his chest felt so tight. He could hear Sam calling to him but the cough wouldn't relent.

He heard Arandi calling to him. The last thing he heard as he slipped away was Sam stating the nature of his emergency.
