Toris threw his flat cap on his nightstand and plopped down on his bed. What was that? Did he just kiss Feliks? That annoying brat that always pestered him? He buried his head in his hands. He didn't know what to do anymore. All he wanted to do was feel Feliks's lips against his again, which was wrong. Toris growled in frustration.
He heard a knock on the door. His head jerked up, then groaned. He didn't really want to see Feliks right now. "Yeah?" he shouted without getting up.
"Hey, Toris? There's some dude here that says he knows you." Feliks shouted. Toris frowned, someone who knows him and is purposely seeking him out? That's probably not a good thing. He stood up and exited his room to see a nervous Feliks standing by the door.
"Dude, this guy is intimidating. He's waiting outside." Feliks said and ushered the confused brunette to the door. Standing in the doorway was a bury man, he looked to be about 6'1, with brown hair and forest green eyes. He had a small beard, that was very bushy and covered most of his face. When his eyes landed on Toris they lit up.
"Toris!" he exclaimed, but didn't move. Toris frowned, he didn't know who this was. Only a second later did realization dawn on him.
"Are you...?" he said in Lithuanian but trailed off, he couldn't remember his name.
The man frowned slightly, but his eyes were still bright. "Toris, it's me! Jonas! Your uncle!" he replied in Lithuanian. Toris's normally angry expression turned bright. "Jonas!" Toris laughed and man-hugged the guy. Feliks, stood there in shock and stared at the two.
"Uh, Toris? Who's this random guy your hugging?" he asked and shoved his hands in his pockets.
"This is my uncle!" Toris said in English. Then turned back to Jonas. "What are you doing here?" He asked in Lithuanian.
"I'm here to bring you back to Lithuania!" he exclaimed. "I'm sorry that I didn't come sooner, as soon as your parents stopped keeping us updated we just thought they needed their space. But we started to get worried and we didn't know how to find you and..." he trailed off and let out small whimper. "Then we found out."
Toris let his eyes drop to the floor and he nodded slowly. Then looked back up and asked, "How did you find me?"
"Never mind that now! All that matters is getting you back to Lithuania! Your grandma, grandpa and I have been very worried about you." he replied then glanced around the house and then at Feliks. "Is this your house?" he asked.
"No, it's my friend's house." he said and gestured to Feliks, who has been studying his wooden floor through the whole exchange.
"Hello." Jonas said in heavily accented English. Feliks looked up from the floor, then waved shyly and smiled slightly. Jonas cracked a grin and glanced at Toris. "Not really the outgoing type, is he?" he asked in Lithuanian.
Toris shook his head in response. "Do you mind if I told him what's going on?" he asked his uncle. Jonas nodded, Toris turned to Feliks. "Could he come in?" Feliks nodded and escorted Jonas to one of his plush couches and told him to make himself comfortable. Toris pulled Feliks aside while Jonas marveled at the exquisite living room.
"What the hell is going on, dude? First your goddamn uncle shows up and you start speaking fucking Estonian-"
"Lithuanian." Toris snapped.
"-and leaving me confused as fuck." Feliks exclaimed.
Toris inhaled slowly. "I'm going back to Lithuania." he said. Feliks frowned.
"Like, are you serious?" Feliks asked, astonished.
Toris scowled at the blonde. "Of course I'm serious. Why wouldn't I be?"
Feliks took a step back. "I don't know, it's just...sudden." he responded.
"What do you care? You barley know me. I thought you'd be happy to see me off?" Toris said.
"Of course I wouldn't be happy to see you off! Can't you tell that I like you?" Feliks cried.
"What do you mean like? Didn't you punch me and never want to see me again? I still don't understand why you came and bailed me out of jail." Toris replied and ran a hand through his greasy brown hair.
"Toris you don't understand..." Feliks suddenly said in a hushed voice. "I...really like like you. That's why I did the thing with your hat, I kinda just wanted to get a kiss out of you." he said with a sad smile. "Just when I finally let myself admit that, you go and leave."
Toris was speechless. This...brat...liked him? He was possibly the worst person to like, he was a jerk. Why? "I-I..." Toris stuttered.
"You don't have to say anything...just go alright?" Feliks said and then turned towards the stairs. Toris just stood still as a statue and watched as Feliks climbed the stairs slowly, then disappeared into his bedroom.
Toris stood there for a few more moments, then turned and trudged back to his uncle and tried as best as he could to take the shocked expression off of his face. Jonas must not have noticed, because when Toris came into the room he stood up and smiled. "Everything go alright?" he asked. Toris nodded, because he probably couldn't say anything right now anyway. "Well, I have a hotel room booked for tonight, then our flight leaves at noon tomorrow."
Toris suddenly looked around for a pen and paper. He rushed into the kitchen and opened drawers until he found some sticky notes and a ballpoint pen. Jonas had followed Toris into the kitchen, a confused expression on his face. "What are you doing?" he asked.
"Writing something." Toris replied and jotted something down, then dashed upstairs and placed the sticky note on Feliks's door. Then joined his uncle by the door.
"What did you write?" he asked as he opened the door.
"'Come meet me at the airport at noon if you want to say goodbye.'" Toris replied and strode out of Feliks's home.
The Next Day...
Toris and Jonas sat next to each other without saying a word. They had arrived at the airport at eleven and it was now 11:49. Toris was secretly hoping that Feliks would show up. But that hope was slowly deflating. Jonas was fidgeting in his seat, obviously excited to get back to Lithuania. He was keeping himself preoccupied by watching the TV and glancing around the room every once in awhile.
When it was finally time to start boarding the plane, people formed a crammed line. Jonas and Toris decided to wait until the line dissipated a little. They finally got up and crabbed their carry-ons. When his turn came, Toris turned and wished that Feliks would have shown up but sighed. No use wishing. He sighed, then turned around and started to walk into the hall that led to the plane.
"Toris! Wait!"
Toris whirled around and gasped when he saw Feliks running toward the terminal, flailing his arms around like and idiot. Toris dropped his bag and ignored the protest of the lady at the desk. He ran up to Feliks and grinned, despite himself. "You came." he said huskily.
"Yeah, I did you idiot. You think I'll let you leave without saying goodbye?" he laughed and punched Toris's arm.
"Sir! Your flight is leaving!" The lady called.
"You better g-" Feliks started but Toris cut him off by crushing their lips together. Feliks was still for a moment, but kissed back and threw his arms around Toris's neck. They pulled apart after a few seconds and Feliks smiled at Toris. "Promise you'll come visit me?"
"I promise." Toris whispered and planted another kiss on Feliks's lips. Then Toris turned and ran back to collect his things, not seeing Feliks waving goodbye behind him.
"You better come back, or I'll fly all the way to Lithuania to see you." Feliks said, but Toris was already gone.
