Disclaimer:…. I obviously do not own Ninja Turtles. Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman do.

Can you feel it crush you, does it seem to bring the worst in you out?

There's no running away from these things that hold you down.

Do they complicate you, because they make you feel like this?

Of all the colors that you've shined, this is surely not your best.

Ever since she killed Kai, Moth had been in a deep, emotionless state of depression. All she ever seemed to do was meditate, she didn't even bother to bother to train which was formally her favorite thing to do but it lost it's point, why train to kill more? Her father saw this but allowed her to, he gave her space and all of the time off training that she wanted. Michaelangelo felt guilty, his daughter was depressed and there was nothing he could do about it, and it was his fault. He'd pressured his daughter her whole life to be a ninja, but things got out of hand when she found out her true lineage, and she was pretty much forced to kill her half-brother.

In the code of honor, there was no greater dishonor than betraying your family.

She hadn't spoken a word since that night two weeks ago, and even at his greatest attempts he could not lighten her spirit, she remained silent even after she was told that Kai had been cremated and Venus used magic to convert his ashes into a sword, even though she knew somehow that Kai would have wanted it that way.

Deep in meditation, Moth reflected how hard her father was trying to make her feel better; he didn't make her train, something that hadn't occurred ever since she was attacked by that bear all of those years ago. He gave her plenty of space and quiet, he meditated with her, he didn't mention the Footclan, Leonardo, Karai or Kai or any of that business. Michaelangelo picked up treats for her, such as junk food and books, he even once brought her a small plastic case of blackberries. Blackberries were her favorite treat, they were very plentiful in California during the summertime and she always looked forward to them. But the ones here in New York just weren't the same, store-bought they were cold and sour.

"Moth." Her aunt Venus called, and as for the past two weeks Moth did not reply, Venus kneeled in front of her sitting niece who didn't so much as open her eyes "Listen, Michaelangelo and I are going to go fight Leonardo, after so many years we've decided to finally end this, even though the curse is dead Leonardo is still a traitor that needs to be destroyed."

No reply, no movement.

"Listen Moth." Venus DeMilo began "I know you feel horrible about what you did, but you need to pull yourself together for zens sake. Even if you didn't kill Kai, one of us would have eventually. And how do you suppose Michaelangelo and I feel about Leonardo? He's our brother, we were raised with him, he's my own twin! And yet we have to kill him, and do you want to know why?"

Silence

"Because he's evil. Because he would not hesitate to kill us, he's wanted to kill us for such a long time now, this is not just about honor, it's about survival. Kai would have killed you if he really thought you were the one who murdered his mother. He wouldn't think twice about it."

With that Venus got up "If you feel like picking up your weapons to fight alongside us as a family, then maybe you can find some solace. But don't come with us, then we don't care, if we end up dying that's on your conscience."

Moth still unmoved and silent, Venus left.

She ceased meditating and instead lay on her back staring at the ceiling. She didn't feel comfortable in the human civilian clothing of t-shirt and jeans, the smooth cloths were too different compared to the gear she was so used to wearing.

The coyote Raphael trotted up to her and licked her face, he sat down and tipped his head to the side. It was almost amusing how in a span of months the once proud, savage wild coyote had become a tamed attack dog.

Oh zen. She really was pathetic. Here she, a trained and disciplined ninja, moping like a moody teenage girl. She was legally an adult and yet she just lay there feeling sorry for herself. Her father and aunt suffered so much more than she did and yet they continued to fight, they were true warriors, she was just a proverbial drummerboy.

"Perhaps you should go fight." A voice from nowhere, unexpected and uninvited. Moth jumped right onto her feet and into stance.

"Wow, impressive reflexes! You were trained excellently." A new voice said.

"Benign? Bellicose?" Moth said unsurely, her unused voice came out scratchy and small. Indeed out of the shadows came the two priests brothers and... "Joyce? You know what, I'm getting pretty sick of all of these plot conspiracies. What are you doing in the Lair?"

"Contemplating whether or not I should knock your head off from knocking me out a while ago." Joyce growled.

"I'm more skilled than you Joyce and we both know this." Moth growled back, mentally wondering why she was being so harsh with her friend.

"Girls please!" Benign came between them. "Moth, I believe you've met our student Joyce."

"Your student?" Moth echoed; so these two priests who lives in a cemetery bunker were ninjas too? Okay sure why not? Too many conspiracies, might as well find answers "Okay, what's your guys story? What are the conspiracies and what part about my fathers origin story is fake?"

"Well you see... It was a pretty bad idea for you to send me to Cody's house." Joyce said and rubbed the back of her neck

"Because...?"

"I'm really his sister." Joyce answered. Moth walked out of the room "Hey, where are you going?" Moth then returned, this time lugging in the couch, she set it up in front of them and sat down.

"Trying to keep track of these confusing conspiracies is tiring." Moth simply said, then sat back.

"Remember when you were told that April and Casey had to give up their daughter Shadow to keep her safe."

"And it's really you, and these two adopted you."

"Actually the Justice Force adopted me, and then these two got involved and it's been a pass-back."

"Shocking. Interesting. Wow." Moth drolled.

"Why do you sound so bored?" Bellicose asked with a raised brow.

"In the past month I've found out that my real mother is a ninja grandmaster crimelord, my father-in-law is an evil clan-betraying puppetmaster, I have a human-turtle hybrid half brother, oh and I was raised to hate them all. I also found out I'm actually the baby my father supposedly killed. My adopted father also had a girlfriend and a human-turtle hybrid daughter... Do I really have to continued?"

"Point taken." Benign said.

"And since you two are the only unexplained conspiracy left... What's your story? And make it fast, again these things are getting tiring." Moth requested.

"Well 'savage', like you we are not all that we seem..." Bellicose said.

"Fade to A/N." Finished Joyce.

Chapter started out serious, then not serious, then the fourth wall was obliterated.

Feh, Im sorry but I'm just out of creative energy.
