When Zero awoke, he purred deep in his throat and snuggled closer to Kaname. Then his brain caught up and he remembered all of last night's events. When Kaname woke up, it was to a severely blushing Hunter who looked ready to faint any second.

"Enjoying the memories?" Kaname smirked when Zero became even redder before he dodged the fist that had been aimed; playfully; at him. Riling his Zero up was so much fun! But they didn't have time for that. Not now, when they had to rescue the children from Hirashi. Zero sighed under his breath and stood up silently, wincing as the soreness in his lower back reared it's ugly head. Mentally he curse Kaname, of course it was his fault too... Considering the fact that he hadn't tried to resist the sex told that he hadn't exactly been against it in the first place. Staling a pair of Kaname's boxers, shirt and pants, Zero vanished into the bathroom. He made sure to lock the door and slam a few Hunter's Seals onto it though. He'd prefer to make it through a shower without being jumped on.

When Zero stepped out of the bathroom it was to a fully dressed Kaname sitting on the bed. He was pouting and Zero guessed it was about the fact that he hadn't gotten to take a shower with his mate. The Hunter couldn't help but sigh and shake his head. This was getting awfully complicated really quickly, "Shall we go meet with the other members of the Night Class?"

Zero nodded, "But if that bitch hangs over you, I'm gutting her."

Kaname's right eyebrow rose slightly. "Yuuki?"

Zero gave him a look. "Who else did you think I was talking about?"

"I don't know, Aidou?"

"Eww. I didn't need that image this early in the morning."

"For that matter, neither did I..." Kaname trailed off and Zero snorted before the Vampire King stood up and offered his arm.

"Shall we?"

"Yes, let's." Zero couldn't help but laugh. He had the sexy man with him. Not Yuuki. His inner fanboy was jumping up and down and cheering.

When they reached the Chairman's home, Zero could smell that all the other Vampires were already there. Including his brother and brother in law. This was going to be interesting, and Zero was hoping that Ichiru wouldn't kill him. Zero stepped in first, Kaname right behind him and the others froze at the scents. Yuuki was the first to snap out of the disbelieving daze.

"HOW DARE YOU!" Everyone flinched at the sound of her voice, it was clearly not something you wanted to be subjected to, especially if you did something wrong. Kaname ignored her completely and sank down into one of the nearby chairs. To the shock of the others, he pulled Zero down onto his lap, the Hunter snuggling instantaneously into his neck. It was then that Rido understood the severity of the situation.

"You're soul mates?"

"You noticed."

"... There's no possible way for the council to interfere with this, not unless that want to lose their lives." Zero's lip curled in disgust, he couldn't believe this... this... thing. He certainly wasn't going to call her a Pureblood, or even a Vampire. That would be an insult to their entire race. Kaname snorted into his neck. It seemed that the rumored Soul Mate Telepathic ability was in fact the truth. He sighed under his breath and moved to another seat beside Kaname. Said Vampire had been pulled into an argument about what they were going to do about rescuing the children. It went on for what seemed like hours. One Vampire would suggest something, but someone else would shoot it down almost instantly. Finally Zero had had enough. He stood up and stepped behind his chair. No one noticed when he became a silver cat and slipped out through the door. Since they couldn't come to a decision, he was going to rescue his family himself.

Racing through the forest, Zero mentally compiled everything he knew about Hirashi. Briefly he wondered if the bastard knew that he was a sealed Pureblood, but shrugged it off. He probably did, but the thing was... Zero wasn't sealed anymore. He let a wicked smile grace his lips before it was wiped clean. He certainly wasn't about to let the male get away with hurting anyone of importance to him.

Skidding to a halt, the Hunter took in the metal gates of his family's graveyard. It was pretty creepy already, but the statues of the Weeping Angels, specifically keyed into the Kiryuu blood, kind of made it worse. It was the perfect setting for that bastard's death. Zero was definitely looking forward to it. Vaulting the gate, he paused after landing on the ground just inside of it. Did he even have a plan? Nope. But the thing was, Zero didn't think that this was the kind of mission where he could just race in guns blazing. That would just get his niece and nephew killed, and then Ichiru would kill him. That would be bad.

Making himself comfortable on a gravestone, Zero cupped his chin in his hands and sighed underneath his breath. This wasn't exactly the best place for him to come up with a plan, but it was the safest area at the moment and he needed all the thinking he could get. He was so deep in thought that he never seemed to notice the noises behind him. There was a soft rustle of brush, the sound of giggling, footsteps, and Zero froze, whirling around, drawing his gun at the same time. His nephew stepped out from the bush and Zero relaxed. Roki giggled at him and launched himself into Zero's arms. The Pureblood sighed in relief, only to stiffen as he felt the silver dagger slide in between his ribs. Blood splattered from his lips as he slid to the ground.

"W...w...w..h...y...?" He couldn't breathe comfortably, and the slat thing Zero saw before his vision went dark was Roki shifting into Hirashi's form.
