The Events! Part 20: Kraid's Return!

A/N: Welcome to a chapter I have been really wanting to reach! The title may confuse some people who haven't' pieced something together yet, but to those who haven't, Kraid? Returning? But he hasn't been introduced so he can't possibly return. . . or can he?

I want to thank everyone who had read this far for helping me stay interested in the story and I must admit that there is moments when I wonder why do I bother wasting my time typing. This update should be done before my birthday and after that I probably won't update as frequently. (23rd of October if you care) Best thing about my birthday is that one of my friends said that he'll be getting me something I've never had, a Zelda game! He told me he has a spare copy of a 'somewhat old' Zelda game that he thinks I'll like. If I like it I promise to make a parody story about it after I finish the game! (Er well, 'vowel' I guess and I should probably say if I finish the game)

Sidenote: You may have noticed I'm calling Young Link Dark Link sometimes, if anyone can guess what determines when he is dark and when he is young please review or PM, you'll get a mention or the such.

Another Sidenote: This chapter is small, even more small if you compare it to the last chapter, this isn't just because I wanted to update before my birthday but is because I want something else to have its own chapter. *smiles evilly*

^Breakfast - The Asylum of the Insane^
"So I found this really cool item and I asked him, 'how much is this worth?' And he told me, 'that there's worth fifty Prim,' I was so happy I bought five of them!" Captain Falcon tells Falco, DK and Yoshi.
"We care why?" Falco asked.
"At least tell us what it is," Yoshi said.
"I don't really care about your purchases Captain Falcon," DK says.
"I got myself five of these!" Captain Falcon says pulling a ball of yarn from his pocket and holding in out for the three to see. Falco almost choked on his breakfast upon seeing it.
"Um. . ." Yoshi starts looking around hoping no one saw what Captain Falcon was so excited about, he even felt a little degraded to be friends with him for some rude and unkind reason. (I have nothing against people who knit)
"Put that away," DK whispered.
"Hey everyone!" Captain Falcon shouts interrupting multiple conversations.
"What now?" Zelda snapped and saw what he was holding. "Why are you holding a-"
"If anyone wants something knitted just ask me! I have so much free time it's not funny!" Captain Falcon states.
"Maybe you should make some clothes for Mason and Pikachu so we can dress them up!" Popo shouts excitedly.
"YAY! DRESS UP!" Nana yells louder.
"WOOOOOOOOOOO!" Dark Link screams happily.
"Shut up!" Mason yelled.
"You interrupted our talk of magic for that!" Ness yelled from next to Zelda.
"Yep, so who wants to make the first order?" Captain Falcon asked truly believing that people cared.
"How about you make a ball of yarn, {short pause} well done!" Mason says and went back to his conversation with Bowser.
"HELLO EVERYONE!" Omochao yelled flying back in.
"You skipped last night," Yoshi says.
"I know, the Gap was unstable because of the Primid being hurt so I wasn't allowed to activate any events, but I'm not allowed to tell you that so I'll use the excuse that the tournament went for too long," Omochao says.
"Omochao!" Keith snapped angrily.
"Hey ick-bell!" Link shouts while holding up his glass of water. "Could I have a refill?"
"What did you call him?" Falco asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Ick-bell, his last name," Link says.
"That's Bellic," Bowser corrects.
"Thank you Bowser," Keith says and picked up the water jug, he then noticed that Link's glass was full. "You truly are something Link."
"HELLO!" Omochao shouts getting people's attention. "Events sixteen and twenty-six are ready!"
"I'll do twenty-six," Yoshi says.
"Why?"
"Because I haven't done anything for ages, or possibly at all!" Yoshi admits.
"Didn't you do one event?" Ness asked.
"Probably, so what's the event about?" Yoshi asked.
"The event is Trophy Tussle 2!" Omochao says.
"Great another one," Mario groaned remember the last one.
"Can you explain the event?" DK asked.
"Sure, you face against three randomly selected clones that each have a level five intelligence. Everyone has two lives like last Trophy Tussle," Omochao says.
"LIES!" Pikachu yells.
"Why?" Omochao asked.
"Last Trophy Tussle everyone had three!" Pikachu points out.
"Stupid author not looking up small details," Omochao mumbled. (I accept that I made a mistake, by oh well! I always remembered the Trophy Tussles as having three stock)
"Alright, let's go!" DK says pounding his chest for again no reason, then for some reason he went instead of Yoshi.

^Atop of a large Entai^
DK, Bowser, Link and Pikachu appeared atop of a huge Entai, said Entai wasn't alive but looked very realistic, even the fur blowed in the. . . breeze? Yes, coming from the left and blowing to the right was a strong and constant gust of wind. Link pushed passed the group and stood on the head of the Entai. Pikachu ran at DK and he grabbed the small Pokémon and threw it off the large Pokémon. Pikachu reappeared with one chance left as Bowser ran at DK and slammed into him, the two tumbled down the side of the Entai and DK grabbed onto the huge Pokémon's mane, Bowser held DK's left leg tightly.
"Let go!" DK shouts and slammed his foot into the Entai's side, this made the Bowser clone growl and breath a gust of fire upwards, the fire however was blown away from DK because of the wind.
"PIKAAAAAAAACHU!" Pikachu screamed as it suicidally jumped off the Entai, before falling into the red mist a huge bolt of lightning crashed down into Bowser and DK causing them to gain the attribution of paralysis and fall off. (If Thunderbolt in the Pokémon games doesn't cause paralysis then I don't care, I don't play Pokémon and only have a rough idea of what does what)
DK reappeared with Bowser and an arrow flew into his forehead, DK growled in pain and looked at the Link clone as it stood atop the Entai's head, the wind was making his blonde hair blow beautifully in the wind. (Like the author's does! :) ) DK ran to Link but Bowser grabbed his arm and yanked him away, DK spun around and punched Bowser's face making him let go. DK ran at Link and received another arrow to the face. DK picked Link up and the clone started to scream, it dropped its bow in fear and DK slammed it into the ground instead of throwing it off the Entai. DK picked the bow up and pulled an arrow from his head. DK aimed at Link's head and a strong gust of wind made him accidentally fire a lot lower and the arrow pierced Link's knee making him scream.
The clone then laughed as it stood up shaking, "I used to stand a chance against you. . . {smiles like an idiot} until I took an arrow in the knee!" The clone says and DK smiled.
"Is that some kind of joke?" DK asked.
"It's mainly just to distract you, bye now!" Link says as Bowser lifted DK up off the ground and threw him over the ledge.

^Asylum of the Insane^
"You failed," Omochao announces.
"I guessed," DK says.
Falco walked to DK and slapped him across the face, "Whoa you're stupid, sixth rule of combat! Don't make idle chitchat with your enemy when a absurdly powerful foe is behind you!"
"An absurdly powerful," Dark Link corrects.
"I'll go!" Mario says getting some stares.
"Really? I thought you don't want anything to do with the events?" Bowser says confusedly.
"Activating the event!" Omochao yelled.

^Entai^
Mario appeared atop of the huge Entai and saw a clone of Falco, Dark Link and Zelda. Dark Link passed Mario seconds after the event started and took his place atop the Entai's head. Mario held his hands together and pushed them forward at Falco and Zelda. A beam of fire blared out and Falco dived out of the way, Zelda didn't and was blasted off the edge. Falco shot and Mario and he back-flipped up into the air causing the bullets to hit Dark Link.
"Hey watch it!" Dark Link yelled in the usual disfigured clone voice. Dark Link fired an arrow at Mario once he landed and it stabbed into Mario's neck, Mario screamed and pulled the arrow out. He turned around to Dark Link and fired a beam of fire at him, it hit and Dark Link was blasted into the red mist.
"Hey where'd Zelda go?" Mario asked turning around, he could see Falco, he could see Dark Link respawn but no Zelda.
"She's hanging onto the stages hair," Yoshi explains from somewhere near Mario. Falco threw his reflector at Mario but Mario blasted it away with fire, the reflector then attached itself to Falco's beak and the clone's eyes widen with fear. Zelda flew up from the side and landed next to Mario, she kicked him with enough force to knock him over and then threw an energy spear into his chest. Mario screamed and grabbed for the spear, it vanished before he touched it. Mario jumped up and somersaulted through the air, he landed behind Zelda and stabbed a fiery sword through her stomach. The clone made a sort of growling noise and flicked its arms backwards creating a wall of pink energy that blasted into Mario. Mario flew off the Entai and quickly respawned. Mario made a fiery sword and decapitated Falco before kicking him off the edge, despite the clone leaving it still fell into the red mist due to the reflector activating and paralysing it. Dark Link sword a black sword at Mario and he tried to block it with his fiery sword. . . this didn't end well for Mario as the solid sword broke through the nonsolid sword and chopped Mario's right hand off. Mario screamed and realised to heal he'll need to fail through the red mist. Mario hurried to the edge but Dark Link pulled him back with a black grappling hook. Mario spun in the air as he was being pulled back and kicked Dark Link, the two stumble down the hairy Pokémon's back and Dark Link slips off the edge. Mario stood up crying as his arms dismemberment began to get hairy, sticky and bloody. Zelda threw a green orb at Mario and it blasted him up higher onto the Entai. Mario tried to make a beam of fire but without his second hand couldn't generate enough fire, as such a clump of fire fell onto Entai's back and set the fur alight. The dry hair/fur caught alight extremely easily and the fire rushed over to Zelda and lit her dress on fire.
"This brings back memories," Samus randomly says as the Zelda clone was burnt to death. Mario laughed and suddenly a reflector activated from his back, Mario screamed in pain briefly before going unconscious. The clones of Zelda and Falco walk to Mario and lift him up into the air, they swing him left then right then left then right then left and finally they let go of him. Mario tumbled down the side of the Entai and fell into the red mist below.

^Asylum^
"You failed," Omochao states.
"I get it! I'm no good!" Mario screamed in anger and stormed off.
"Hey Mason, how about you go?" DK asked.
"And help you idiots, no way!" Mason growled.
"You'll be helping Bowser too," Zelda states.
"Yeah but I'll be helping more idiots then non-idiots!" Mason emphatically stated.
"Jeez, I'll go then!" Yoshi states.
"Didn't you just do something?" Ness asked.
"I wanted to but for some strange reason Donkey Kong went."
"Nobody ever calls me that," DK tells Yoshi, "Not even Omochao does anymore."
"Alright Yoshi, time to go!" Omochao says and started the event.

^Entai^
Yoshi, Popo, Mario and Nana appeared atop of the Entai. "Whoa I'm lucky," Yoshi happily states and quickly jumped aside as Mario pushed past him to reach the head like all the second placed clones did. (Yeah, attention to detail Yoshi) Yoshi quickly ate Popo and Nana with his overly big mouth and repeated the process when they respawned. Yoshi turned to Mario and ducked as a beam of fire blasted overhead. Yoshi flung out his tongue and ate Mario with a few quick chomps.
"Jesus Yoshi! You're worse then what I was to Pichu!" Bowser says sounding disgusted.
"What did you do to Pichu?" Mason asked sounding surprised.
"I ate a clone of him to unlock him," Bowser admits as Yoshi ate the newly arrived Mario.

^Outside the Asylum of the Insane^
"Good job everyone!" Omochao yells and quickly flew off.
"Hey why are we outside?" Ness asked and everyone but Mario -who was gone- looked around, Captain Falcon then gasped and pointed to a figure in the far off distance.
"Krad!" Captain Falcon yelled and ran towards him, some other people followed but not so enthusiastically. Krad was looking down at the ground when Captain Falcon arrived, "Hey Krad! I need you to heal Kirby!"
"{Laughs maniacally} Hello Douglas," Krad says darkly as he looked down at the ground, his face was overshadowed by a mask that rested atop of his head. (So not on his face)
"Krad?" Captain Falcon mumbled and suddenly Krad's body starts to bubble and make hissing noises. Captain Falcon screamed and fell over, he crawled backwards away from Krad as the others arrived.
"Prisoners! Now you will face my power and feel my wrath of despair!" Krad yelled sounding very different. His body bloated and Captain Falcon screamed. Samus and Link quickly grab Captain Falcon's arms and pull him away from the grotesque beast that Krad was forming into. He was about the height of the mansion now and extremely wide. After a small flash of light that barely covered his body a huge lizard monster stood where Krad once stood.
"AHH! GODZILLA!" Ness screamed.
"No, worse!" Samus states aiming her Annihilator Beam at Krad.
"What is it Samus?" Zelda asked through slanted eyes.
"Kraid!" Samus rasped and charged her cannon at the huge beast.
"PRISONERS! YOU WILL DIE! SAMUS! YOU ALONE CAN DO THE NEXT EVENT! NOW FEAR ME!" Kraid screamed loudly and breathed a huge cloud of Green Mist onto everyone. . .

A/N: Yeah, very small chapter. But wait, what I'll like to call 'season three' starts next chapter! With Kraid finally revealed the prisoners are forced to do event twenty-seven! Stay tuned (or not) for Part 21: The Fourth Hunter Revealed!
