A/N: WHO WANTS TO HEAR MY EXCUSE FOR NOT UPDATING!? No one, I'm sure, but I'll say it anyway. My grandmother borrowed my MU CD. Also, if my sister plays her Justin Bieber song one more time, she's getting pushed off a bridge. -_- *Silently thinks of various Bridges* Hehe.
I don't own anything to do with MU (Except my CD), but I do own my OCs...Like Renny. ON WITH THE STORY!
Renny's P.O.V.
At around eleven o'clock, I, along with the rest of my fraternity, was standing in front of the newspaper stand as Mike took them. He stated, "Don't worry. Nobody reads the school paper."
Mike proceeded to throw out the school's newspapers as Art announced, "Yeah, but I'm pretty sure they read the quad."
I looked towards the quad and my jaw dropped. The picture of everyone on my team covered in paint, glitter, flowers, and stuffed animals covered the quad, and everyone was laughing at it.
"Whoo-hoo!" A monster cheered. I looked towards the clock tower and saw the picture being rolled down one side of the clock.
"Thanks. Tell your friends," I heard Johnny say. I looked in his direction and saw him and Dave wearing a tee-shirt with the picture on it.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing?" Mike questioned, marching over to them.
"Raising a little money for charity," Johnny replied.
"Yeah? Well, stop it!" Mike ordered.
I ran over to Mike and mumbled to him, "I don't think-,"
"You want us to stop raising money for charity? That's not cool," Johnny told Mike.
"But-," I tried to say.
"This guy hates charity!" Chet announced. The crowd booed at us.
"Shut up!" I yelled at him.
"Yeah, or what?" Dave asked, smirking, "What's little Renny going to do about it?" I backed off, not wanting to get hurt more.
"I want you to stop making us look like fools," Mike ordered.
"Hey, you're making yourselves look like fools," Johnny replied, showing him a newspaper, "Let's be honest boys…and girl…You're never going to be real scarers because real scarers look like us."
"M-my daddy says-,"
"Well your 'daddy' is dead wrong, stupid!" Dave told me, pushing me to the ground, "Now get out of here before I give you another black eye."
"I just hope my brothers get you good!" I told him, standing as tears threatened to spill.
"And they will," Dave laughed, "Because they're SO much bigger AND stronger than me! Ha! Don't make me laugh."
"But, hey, if you really want to work for a scare company," Johnny handed Mike the paper, "They're always hiring in the mailroom." The crowd laughed and I ran off, crying.
"S-stupid J-Johnny," I breathed, sitting in the library, "S-stupid Dave…" The librarian had the day off, so I could talk as loud as I wanted.
"Renny?" Fang and Marie stood in front of me.
"Are you okay?" Marie asked.
"N-no," I cried, "Everything's horrible."
"Do you want to talk?"
"N-no," I buried my face in my arms, which were on the table.
"Okay, then let's play a game…let's all say something that's a secret. We all have to keep quiet about each other's secrets, okay?" Fang tried to get me to play her game.
"Okay," Marie probably smiled at Fang.
"F-fine," I whimpered.
"Me first," Fang announced, "Well…My leg really isn't broken. I just don't like participating in the scare games. Every year, my mom forces me into it. She said that since my leg's 'broken', I didn't have to play this year."
"W-wow," Marie breathed, "Okay. Now me. …Dave's my brother." I stopped crying, and looked up. "Yep, my last name's McAllister. I'm younger than him by three years, and he bullied me, all his past girlfriends, and even our mother. Dave has a jail record for almost killing Mom. He's on parole."
"No way…" That's why she wouldn't tell me her last name. She probably thought I'd hate her for being related to Dave. But I couldn't do that.
Tears were threatening to spill from Marie's eyes. "I-I'm so sorry I didn't tell you earlier."
"It's okay," I smiled, "Wanna know why I'm crying?" My friends nodded. "It's just Dave threatened to give me another black eye, and Johnny just plain said my team and I would never get to be scarers. I know I can do it, it's just whenever someone says that…"
"You feel weak. Like you can't do it," Fang finished for me.
I nodded, smiling, "Yeah."
"Now you might want to find your team," Marie told me, helping me stand up.
"Yeah, and hurry buddy," Fang told me.
"Don't worry, I'll murder Dave for ya," Marie ran off in the direction of where the RORs were selling their merchandise.
"And I have to…well, nothing really. I guess I'll go hang with my roommate. Later Ren," Fang waved goodbye, and ran off.
Then, I turned and walked to the OK household.
(Short Time Skip)
"Guys," Mike threw opened the door of the house, "We're going on a little fieldtrip."
(Longer Time Skip, about 8:00 P.M.)
As we were unloading out of Squishy's mom's van, everyone was muttering something to themselves. Then Squishy said to his mom, "Thanks, Mom." He shut the van's door.
"Have fun, kids!" Squishy's Mom told us, "I'll just be here listening to my tunes." She rolled her window up, turned her station on, and…thrash metal was blaring out of the stereo. I chuckled lightly.
"Hey, uh, where are we?" Art questioned Mike.
"The big leagues," Mike answered.
We were walking up to Monsters, Incorporated.
"Holy roly-poly," Dom commented.
"Wow," Squishy was in awe.
"Nice fence," Art announced.
"This is amazing Mike," Squishy told him.
"We're not stopping here," Mike held up bolt cutters. Uh, where'd he get that from?
We were going to break into Monsters, Inc…when I had a key? Seriously, I have a key to MI. I took my Dad's extra key, and it's attatched to my key ring.
Anyway…Mike cut a hole in the gate large enough for Sullivan to fit through. Then we all climbed through the hole in the gate, and started running up towards the factory. We ran up a set of stairs and up a ladder when Squishy whispered loudly, "This is crazy. We're going to get arrested!" Mike shushed him.
"Well he's right!" I grumbled. Mike shushed me next. When we reached the top, we all leaned against the cool glass above one of the scare floors. Everyone was in awe.
I smiled at my friends and looked down at the monsters in the scare floor. "All scare floors now active," I heard a voice over the PA system say, "West coast coming online. Scarers coming out."
"Look at them," Squishy smiled, "They're going into the human world, and they don't even look scared!"
"Take a good look, fellas," Mike said to us, "See what they all have in common?"
"Uh…No, not really," Squishy told him.
"Exactly," Mike confirmed, "There's no one type of scarer. The best scarers use their differences to their advantage."
"Look at that fluffy little monster," I smiled. The guys turned their heads towards the small pink monster. A few seconds later, her long legs came out, and she exposed her sharp teeth.
"Wow," Squishy gasped.
"Terri? Look," A three headed monster came out of a child's door.
Don let out a chuckle, "Hey! Look at that old feller racking up the big numbers!"
I looked to where Don was pointing and saw Earl 'The Terror' Thompson. "Don, that old fella is Earl 'The Terror' Thompson!" Mike informed. I let out a small laugh.
"What? Where?" Sullivan asked, "That's really him?"
"He held the scare record for three years!"
"Oh! Third door from the end!" Sullivan pointed enthusiastically.
"Carla 'Killer Claws' Benitez!"
"Look! It's 'Screaming' Bob Gunderson! I still have his rookie card."
"Me, too!" Mike told him.
"Doesn't have the speed anymore but his technique is flawless," Sullivan, Mike, and I said the last three words in unison.
"You collect scare cards, huh?" Mike asked the two of us.
"Yep. Four hundred fifty of them," Sullivan boasted.
"Five hundred twenty, last time I counted," I smiled.
"Impressive. I have six thousand still in mint condition," Mike looked at us, "But, you know, four fifty and five twenty is pretty good, too."
I let out a laugh, "Yeah. It is."
"Hey, look at me! I'm Earl 'The Terror' Thompson!" Squishy let out a roar.
"I've been a real jerk," Sullivan mused.
"So have I," Mike nodded.
"I've just been a big crybaby," I shrugged my shoulders. I seriously have been, feeling sorry for myself…crying over the stupidest things. Like Dave leaving me, and getting kicked out of the scaring program. I should've been trying to fix my problems, not trying to run away from them or crying over them…
"But it's not too late," Mike told the two of us, "The three of us, we could be a great team. We all just need to start working together, not just Renny and me against you, Sullivan."
"Yeah. We could. Me, you, and…Sulley," I hesitated for a few seconds, but then smiled wide.
Then a bright light shined on us, and someone shouted, "HEY!" I looked towards the ground and saw security guards on the ground. "What are you doing up there?" The guard called. I gulped.
"I can't go back to jail!" Art called. Then he ran off. Back…to…jail? Oh, Art.
The rest of the team followed Art, all of us running. The alarm was blaring as we ran up some stairs, past a large air conditioner, and away from the guards. When we got to a ladder to climb down, the guards beat us to it. "Up there! Get them!" A guard shouted to another guard.
"Nope!" I shouted, my frat brothers running away from them in another direction.
We jumped over a space between two small buildings, but Squishy couldn't do it. Sulley grabbed him and jumped over the space. "Thanks, brother!" Squishy thanked him.
"Don't mention it!" Sulley replied.
Then a few yards later, Don started coughing, and he stopped running. "I'm fine, really! It's just a little heart attack!" Don was then picked up by Sulley, and Art jumped on Sulley after saying, "I want a piece of that action!" Then Terry and Terri jumped on him too.
Soon, we were in front of the building. We ran through the parking lot, past the cars, and towards the cut gate. "Mom! Start the car!" Squishy called to his mother.
We jumped through the gate as Squishy's mother yelled, "What?"
"Start the car!"
"Stop the bar?"
"The car! Start the car!"
"Oh! Okay." Squishy's Mom started the engine, Mike opened the side door, and we all jumped into the back of the van. Mike shut the door again once we were inside, and Squishy told him Mom to go. "Seatbelts," She reminded us. I rolled my eyes and everyone quickly buckled in.
"Okay, go!"
"Does anyone want gum?"
"Just drive!" Squishy shouted.
"Okay, here we go!" The guards were almost upon us, so Mike jumped into the front seat, and slammed his foot down on the gas. We zoomed away from the guards, all of my team screaming.
"Oh, yeah! Let's break in somewhere else!"
A/N: Oh, Art...
You know, I've been looking at my past reviews. They make me keep going on with stories. It makes me think that people actually like my stories, that they actually read them. I just love that!
So review!
