Notes: Okay, so I know I'll keep writing, but it takes longer if I get no reviews. Now that's not a threat, I'm just saying, it's like talking to a brick wall for 5 hours straight. Eventually, you're going to just walk away or stare at it and shut up. We also reach a special point in this chapter. My first game talk! Let's see how it goes. I got the great title also.

Chapter 8: Eternal Rage

Raging Raven flew past them and began to circle back. Josh needed a plan fast. "Storm," Josh yelled, "You need to cover Paarthurnax! We'll take her down. If anything flies at him, shout it out of the sky." He nodded and rushed to Paarthurnax's side. "Adam, get to higher ground. Your speed and strength can take down those missiles. She only has six, so don't be a hero." Adam jumped up to a higher ledge. "Michael, let's go." They rushed forward to the point that Raven seemed to be coming at them from. "Okay, she still can aim those rockets at us and her grenade launcher is still a threat. She has packs on her suit, so who knows how many she has. We are the offense." Michael had one question.

"Alright, this is a pretty solid plan," Michael told Josh, "but how do we hit her if she moving at that speed that high?" Josh's face seemed to freeze up as he thought about this for a moment.

"…Very carefully," Josh finally said. Michael laughed at that, but it was one that was unsure and was more of a question. Raven was coming straight at them. Josh guessed that the wings would tear right through them. As she came closer, Josh started to think hard about what the hell he could do. Michael made the decision for him.

Michael rushed forward and thrust out his shield just as Raven was about to slice through them. Her face smashed into it with a very loud thud and she swerved off course. Josh ducked to his right to avoid being tackled by a speeding cyborg. Josh discovered something in that instance. Their weapons were stronger than her suit.

"Michael, I've got it!" Josh yelled at him. "Even at such high moving speeds, our armor and weapons are stronger than hers. I think we could pierce her wings if we could slow her down." Michael thought about this for a minute.

"But how do we slow her down?" Michael asked, shattering Josh's plan.

"God! When did you start being the guy that asks questions?" Josh yelled at his friend. "You always used to go blind, not caring how it worked… And now, the one time it benefits me, you decide to care." Michael laughed at him again. They heard a scream and turned as Raven launched a missile at them. Adam rushed forward at lightning speed and kicked through the missile effortlessly. "Let's go." Michael nodded and they rushed forward.

Raven prepared to rush at them again and Josh tried to be ready. He swung his swords as she got close, but Raven had spun and slipped right through his defenses. Josh was launched backwards and hit a cliff wall. Josh was bleeding through his armor. It was only a minor cut though because Raven had closed her wings to slip through. Josh was happy to still be in one piece. He got up, ignoring the light sting of the cut. "It's not just her flight that is fast," Josh told Michael. "Her agility and reaction time are also incredible."

"Duh, you idiot!" Michael yelled. "It's Metal Gear Solid!" Josh lifted himself up as Raven came in for another slice at him. Josh was in a lot of pain at the moment. His left side had been cut hard. Josh summoned the last of his strength to try and jump over Raven and make her slam into the cliff. It was his only plan. Josh threw himself forward, throwing himself to the ground and clearing Raven barely. When he cleared her, Michael screamed, "Yes!"

Raven was even faster than Michael thought. With less than 6 inches between her and the cliff, she changed direction, heading straight up. She leaned farther back and Michael watched in horror as she smashed into the middle of Josh's spine, mid jump. "Gah!"Josh yelled in pain. He splattered the snow with the blood he coughed up. Michael rushed forward as Raven picked him up by the throat. He was too far away though.

Josh lifted his arms as Raven's grip tightened. No matter how hard he tried though his strength couldn't pry off the robotic hand around his throat. "Show your rage," Raven said in her strange voice. "Let it consume you!" Josh's struggling faded and his body went limp. Michael and Adam couldn't believe this was happening.

"No!" Michael yelled as he sprinted at Raven. Raven's grip lessened as she saw Josh's dead eyes stare off into the distance, blood running down the corners of his mouth. It was what Josh planned.

"Fus Ro Dah!" Josh yelled suddenly, throwing Raven backwards and releasing her grip on him. Josh had faked dying and was now coughing as he breathed again. Raven reacted by spreading her wings and flying away from the adventurers. "Not bad for faking death for the first time, huh?" Michael looked enraged as he walked up to Josh. "Michael, be angry later. I have a plan." He started whispering to Michael as fast as he could.

Just as he finished, Raven came around for another strike. She didn't take any chances as she began to fire grenades at Josh. Josh and Michael scattered to avoid being blown up. Raven was aiming only for Josh though and fired more at him. She tried to destroy Josh by firing a missile, but Adam stepped in, following the plan and kicking through the missile. It worked just as Josh thought it would and Adam went through it only receiving small cuts from the shrapnel. Raven knew it would be a waste to fire any more.

She chased Josh all over the mountain top, firing grenades and leaving craters in the ground. Josh wasn't in the best shape to be running, but he didn't want to end up as chunks of meat all over a mountain top. Raven looped around the top of the mountain after about five minutes, trying to circle back and fire at Josh. It was exactly what Josh had planned on.

Michael had climbed up the cliff and was standing right under the very peak of the Throat of the World. When Raven slowed down to circle, Michael took his chance and leapt at Raven. He grabbed at her wings and her back, trying to get some hold. He finally was able to latch on to one of her wings. Raven did not take this lying down. She began to thrash and spin, trying to shake Michael off to his death. Josh watched as he took a dragon bone dagger out of his bag and pulled his arm back. He judged looking for just the right moment.

'There!" Josh thought as he threw the dagger. "Michael, catch!" The dagger spun towards them at an amazing speed. Just when Josh thought he had missed. Michael's arm shot out and caught the dagger. Josh breathed in relief and coughed up more blood. Josh realized just how much could have gone wrong with that plan.

Michael thrust the dagger through Raven's wing, easily slicing down through it. As Raven's wing fell to the ground exploded, Michael and Raven began to spiral out of control, heading for the ground. Josh thought it was strange, but Raven kept turning to face one direction. Just as he realized what she was doing, Michael did too. He tried to get a grip while they spiraled, but he just couldn't while she kept turning like that. Too late for them to stop, Raven fired all of her missiles. She only had three, but they were all aimed at the wounded Paarthurnax. Storm tried to shout them down, but they were launched to wildly. He only got one, while the two exploded on and near Paarthurnax. "No!" Josh yelled as ran at them.

Paarthurnax was covered in blood and shrapnel. There was a 2 foot in his back and half of the mountain top was painted red with his blood. Paarthurnax was still breathing slightly though, but he didn't have much time left. "Josh, I can't heal that!" Storm yelled "What do we do?" Josh began to panic a bit, not sure what he could possibly do. He looked down at himself, as if actually asking himself what he could do. He spotted his bag, and thought of yet another crazy scheme that couldn't possibly work under normal circumstances.

He fell to his knees and began rummaging through his bag as quickly as he could. Josh kept mumbling to himself as he did so. "Let it be there. Please be here. Come on, Come on! I know it should be here." He searched as Michael rushed over, carrying an unconscious and de-winged Raven over his shoulder. Her mask had come off, revealing her beautiful face. He had removed her grenade launcher and ammo belt which were now strapped to him. Just as he was about to ask what was happening, Josh found what he was looking for. "Yes!" Josh ran over to Paarthurnax and placed whatever he had in his claw. "Grasp that, but don't break it." Having no strength to reply or disobey, he did so. Josh climbed on Paarthurnax's head whispering frantically to himself. "Please let this work." Josh took up his blade, flipped it, and rammed it into the center of Paarthurnax's head.

"Josh! What the fuck?!" Michael yelled at him. None of them could believe what Josh had done. Before they could be angry though, they saw something. A pink ball of light shot out of Paarthurnax's claw as Josh leapt off of Paarthurnax. It began to circle all around his body, picking up speed and circling faster. It took a full minute before it began to circle his entire body. They all watched in amazement as his wounds closed, from the slice in his head to the hole in his back. After 3 minutes, all of his wounds closed and the ball faded away to nothing. Josh waited out the next tense seconds as his heart beat faster, causing him to bleed more. Then, Paarthurnax opened his eyes. "Holy shit!"

"Yes!" Josh yelled. "It worked! Yes! Yes! Yes!" Josh continued to shout this for the next two minutes. Storm didn't understand what happened, but Paarthurnax was alive and he was happy about that. Adam just stood there shaking his head at yet another insane plan worked. "Zelda fairies for the win!" If you die holding one, they bring you back to life. Josh knew Link would have one. After 5 minutes of yelling at the sky, they got down to business. "Okay, Paarthurnax should lie down and rest and heal." They all nodded. "What do we do with her?" Josh gestured to the unconscious Raven lying against the cliff.

"I say we kill her," Michael told them all. "She tried to kill us, we do the same."

"Hey!" Josh yelled. "That's not fair. She just follows Liquid's orders so she can heal her mind."

"Hmm…," Michael thought about this for a moment. "Okay I guess your right. Speaking of which, what happened? Isn't she supposed to try and kill us when she changes to that form." Josh thought about this for a moment.

"I have a theory," Josh told Adam and Michael. "When they transform, their minds are healed. Liquid told them the only way to let go of their past was to kill Solid Snake. When they kill him or lose to him, their minds get healed. We beat her though, so her mind is still fucked up." Michael and Adam thought it was a long shot, but it was their best idea. "I say we try to help her."

"And how do you suppose we do that?" Adam asked. An excellent question. How could they even begin to heal her mind?

"Very carefully," Josh mumbled as they thought. He suddenly had an idea. "Mara."

"Whoa, Whoa, Whoa," Adam stopped him. "Mara, as in the divine of love?" Josh nodded. "How could that possibly work?"

"Well, she's a goddess," Josh explained. "Who else could? The way I see it, it isn't too far out of our way. We need to head south and Riften is south-west. Besides that, we're heroes right? Isn't it our job to help people who have been wronged or are suffering?" Adam and Michael took his words into consideration and thought for a few minutes.

"I don't see why not," Michael finally said. "It's not too out of the way like he said and besides, I've always wanted to see Riften. What do you say Adam?"

"Well I very well can't be THAT guy now can I?!" Adam yelled in his face.

"So it's settled," Josh said holding out his fist as they gave a three way fist bump.

-Author notes: Okay, that was fun. A pretty good boss fight if I do say so myself. Now, for the first episode of game chat.

Episode one: *Classic recording of clapping and audience cheering plays* Hello and welcome to Game Chat. This is where I waste your valuable reading time with my opinion. Yay! I'm your host, Jester Josh, and let's talk about games. Okay for my first chat topic, I wanted to go pretty unfocused, but stick to one game.

…Pok'emon.

It is probably one of my favorite RPGs, right next to Final Fantasy and Fire Emblem. It has nice gameplay and an interesting story. Now, I know some of the pokemon are pretty bad. Not pointing any fingers but, *Cough, 5th gen! Cough!* I do have high hopes for the 6th gen. I love mystery dungeon though. I somehow ended up as Pikachu in my latest dungeon run. How do you do that? Anyway, right now I'm doing a second generation solo run. I'm doing it with Chikorita. I'm insane, I know. For those of you who don't, the first gym is flying, the second is bug, the 3rd is miltank, the 4th is ghost, the 5th is fighting, the 6th is steel, the 7th is ice, and the 8th is dragon. Now go back and count how many of those you would use to kick a grass type's ass. Yeah… But I've already got 4 badges! Ha!

Seriously though, I usually pick the grass type. The only time I usually don't is cyndaquil. I don't know, I'm just drawn to grass types. Yes, even treeko. Now, my favorite pokemon… It would have to be Gardevoir. Perverts, shut the Fuck up! I like Gardevoir because it is a kick ass psychic pokemon that can sense emotions and open a fucking black hole. A BLACK HOLE! How awesome is that?!

What pokemon am I most like? …Gardevoir. Now, most of you are probably thinking, 'Are you a fucking pervert?' Now let me explain. My unusual smarts make me a psychic type. My ability to sense other's emotions and comfort people makes me part of that evolution line. While you think I should believe I could be a gallade, he's too much of a physical fighter. Undaed's long exposure to internet and fan fictions makes him unable to accept this, so he says I'm an alakazam.

On another topic, I have to talk about it. The rule 34 of pokemon. I won't be getting that far into it, but it must be addressed. Now, most sane people hate seeing it. I'm one of the insane ones who hate it. I have no problem with pokephilia though. Now wait a second. I'm an unbiased on most things. I would never think that way, but I feel it would naturally happen. Pokemon have I high intelligence, some even higher than humans and mate with completely other species of pokemon. Thinking like that, how could it not happen? I have no problem reading about it, as long as it doesn't go into DETAILS if you know what I mean. Same thing with the pictures. You don't have to think about It in a rule 34 sense.

Moving back to a likable side- wait I lied. We are moving to the descriptions and pokedex entries. We have them cutting us open, drinking our corpse's fluids, eating our dreams, kidnaping children, representing the dead, and stealing our souls… What the fuck?

Well, now that I've ruined another childhood memory, I'm going to sleep. Bye.
