No Extraordinary Means
Disclaimer: Not mine, never will be mine, just going to borrow them and poke them around a bit, I won't harm them, honest, well, not in this story anyway.
Authors Note: I have written several pieces of Stargate Fan Fiction, most are terrible and never will be posted. I haven't watched Stargate for awhile but have been a massive fan since I first watched it 8 years ago when I was 10, I met Amanda Tapping for my 15th birthday! I think I wrote this little piece when I was about 15 as I found it in my GCSE English folder and I have been typing it up when I should be revising for my a-level exams. Enjoy.
Gosh, I think my authors note may be longer than my story.
No Extraordinary Means
By Eve
Colonel Jack O'Neill was sat in his office with paperwork stacked haphazardly on his desk.
There was a knock at his closed door, "come," he responded and the gun metal grey door opened and his second in command, Major Carter appeared with papers in her hands. Jack looked up and greeted her as she entered. Concerned he asked, "You ok?"
"Yes, sir," she answered, standing in the middle of his office awkwardly.
Jack raised an eyebrow questioningly, "Well, I could do with a favour…please, sir," she walked towards his desk and placed the papers in front of him, "They need signing," she said matter-of-factly.
He looked through them. "I've put your name down to make any decisions about…." She faltered, "…if I get injured and…stuff," Sam explained, "If that's ok, sir?"
"Yeah, it's ok," Jack paused, "you really trust me, I mean, I don't know if I could, what if I make the wrong decision?"
"No extraordinary means," Sam looked down fiddling with her thumbs.
"Sure."
