Naruto made the first move, his hands moving like lightning. A swirl of wind surrounded him and Kankuro. Kankuro sweat dropped and tried to leave the dome, but screamed when his hand was cut up by the wind chakra. This, was called Wind Release: Containment Dome. It was derived from the Jutsu, Wind Containment Bubble. It was just bigger now. Now Naruto grinned,
″I'm going to win, Kankuro. You should just give up now."
″Yeah? Think again Blondie." Kankuro pulled Krow out of its bindings and began Attacking Naruto with it. Naruto was struggling against the puppet, and the Wind Containment dome faltered and fell. Naruto grunted and made a hand-sign, and swiped his hand,
″Wind Release! Wind Blade" a series of sharp blades of wind erupted from his hands and destroyed Krow. Kankuro went pale. How was he going to fight with out Krow? He pulled a short sword from his pouch that he used for emergencies, and held it in front of him defensibly. Naruto pulled his Kublai out and they clashed, Kankuro on the defensive doing all he could not to get stabbed. Naruto was definitely winning. But Kankuro got an idea. He hadn't ever seen what he was about to do, done, but he had heard of it. He threw the small blade at Naruto distracting him while he jumped back, and made hand signs. As Naruto was charging, he attacked chakra strings to Naruto.
″Ha! You are my puppet now Blondie." Kankuro made him go and pick up his own sword, and started pushing it against his neck,
″Ah! OK OK! I quit!" Naruto squealed feeling blood dribbling down his neck.
″Kankuro no Kaze in the winner." Genma smirked. They all looked up as there was a yell from the Kage's box.
″Orochimaru? Where's Hiro!?" Sarutobi growled.
″Sense i. I am here to apologize. I killed Hiro. I was going to attack your village, but then your Girl, Ryoko and her god cleansed me. I am so sorry, and I wish your forgiveness." Orochimaru bowed.
″What?" Sarutobi frowned. A squad of Anbu lead by Ryoko burst in. Ryoko smiled.
″Hello Snake-San." she sneered. The ANBU rushed forward and seized Orochimaru who gave no fight.
″If I may, before they take me for interrogation, Ryoko-chan deserves the Chunin title. She was put in the Bingo Book as an A ranking Ninja. I hope you know." Orochimaru said as he was led away. Ryoko was stunned. She knew Gaara was listed as an S rank due to his tendency to kill on sight, but A ranking was just under that.(A/N I hope I got that right x.x)
″Ryoko I must go Meet with the counsel now, why don't you and your friends go celebrate?"
″OK Hokage Sama." Ryoko bowed and ran out of the room, and met up with her friends.
The next day, Ryoko and Shikamaru were called to the Hokage building. Shikamaru was pulled first, and after about ten muinits, he left with a half smile and a flack jacket. They pulled her next.
″Ryoko Mitsuri, you showed great prowess, and strength in the Exams. But, as the last of the Mitsuri clan, you must be put into a CRA. If you accept the promotion to Chunin, you will be put into a CRA. If you stay a Gennin, you wont be, what do you choose?" As The councilman talked to here, Ryoko felt her anger=er rise. She picked up the green vest and looked at it. She narrowed her eyes,
″How dare you do this to me? You would be in ruins if it wern't for me. I have dispatched one of the biggest criminals of Konoha, and you DARE try and force me into a CRA?" Sh pulled a red dagger out of her hip pouch and slammed it through the vest and into the desk in front of her, her red eyes boring into the counsel, ″I chose defection." she then left. Kisame was waiting outside the room.
″Are you really leaving Kitten?" he asked quietly. She paused,
″Yes, Kisa-Kyoshi. I will see you again soon." she began to run now since the ANBU were going to try and capture her. She ran hard, to catch up to Gaara.
Gaara was walking slowly, his heart already pained at leaving his Ryoko behind. But, he looked up as he felt her burning anger, and sadness.
″Tema, Kankuro. There s something wrong." He said darkly, ″We should... stay here for a while." Temari and Kankuro nodded. Baki just shrugged, knowing that there was no way to argue. They sat there for about an hour until a red and black blur hit Gaara.
″I'm coming with you!" Ryoko cried. Her face was streaked with tears. Gaara looked at her in confusion and wiped her tears from her face,
″Hime, what happened?"
″They were going to force me into a CRA if I accepted a promotion." she cried. Gaara could feel her anguish at leaving her friends behind. Naruto... Sasuke.. Kisame and the little ones, Inari and Konohamaru.
″Its OK, Ryoko. You will come with us." Gaara helped her stand and hugged her. Temari and Kankuro came too and hugged her. Temari understood her pain, and anger of someone trying to force her into that.
'Its OK, Imuoto." she purred, ″That wont happen in Suna. Your part of us now." and they walked away.
Days later, her acceptance into Sunagakure was finished, Orochimaru was standing in as Kazekage until Gaara was old enough, and a high enough rank to become Kazekage. Months passed, and Gaara and Ryoko got married, and the ripe young age of sixteen and fifteen. All their friends came, Tsunami and Kisame, the rest of team Seven, and Sakura was going through with a med-exchange and would be moving to Suna so she could be closer to Kankuro. Life was good.
