Chapter 8
"So what were you doing in Washington?" Rebecca asks me when we get to the house.
"I worked in National Art Galleria."
"Interesting." Becca says obviously lying.
"No you don't think it is." I say opening the door entering the house with the 4 girls. "Feel free to feel like you are in your own house."
I start to walk to the living room where I see Caroline holding a picture. ( images6 . fanpop . com ) and showing it to Elena.
"He's hot." I hear she saying and that caught Becca's attention immediately.
"Who is he?" She asks but I can see she wasn't very happy about the picture.
"He's name is Sebastian."
"Are you guys dating? Where did you guys meet?"
"Are we in 9 grade?" I ask but she doesn't answer. "I meet Bash in Italy, around 200 years ago."
"He's a vampire?" Caroline asks.
"If he is alive of course he is." The original says to her.
"Yes."
"I didn't knew you were coming home." I hear a deep male voice appearing and the girls look at him. He is wearing his typical dance clothes, not the ballet type more street meets dance. "We have guests." He says with his flirt smile.
"Yes. This is Elena, she is Isobel daughter." I say and he nods. "Her friend Caroline and this is Rebekah." I say and he smiles at the girls.
"So you are the famous Rebekah. I hear a lot about you… and your brothers." He says and I give him a dirty look. "So what brings you girls to DC?"
"Bash I need to talk to you in my room." I say to him and we nods as we both get upstairs and I mentally make the room sound approve. "We can speak now." I say and he sit in my bed comfortably.
"So, what is it?"
"I am going to Mystic Falls." I say and he gives me a concern look. "I miss Rebekah and now there is Elena. She doesn't even know our family, well, the good part and she needs guidance. She is a bit lost." I say and he rolls his eyes.
"Do I need to ask?" He says and I nod a no. "Of course." He says and after some seconds he adds. "So, when do we leave?"
"We?" I ask surprised.
"Yes, we. If I remember we made a commitment that we are a team forever." He says and I roll my eyes.
"Really? Commitment? Next time I make you sign a paper."
"Ok Ballerina." He says and I roll my eyes. "I will sign the paper with love but I will go with you anyway."
"Already tired of Washington?" I ask him. "Or you don't have more dancer to sleep with?"
"I am hurt." He says putting his hand on his heart. "I did not slept with every dancer partner I had."
"I know but we need to go. I want to be back today."
"Perfetto." He says getting up.
We all had our girly time and share some story was we pack. In the end of the afternoon we all got our things ready in Sebastian's Jeep and we went to our work places to telling them we weren't coming back and got into the highway. I drove with the girls and Bash in his car.
"If you want you can leave me at the grill." Becca says and I nod leaving her there and I start to drive to Elena's after giving Bash the directions to our apartment
"Thank you for today Valeria, I really enjoy it." She says at her and I smile.
"I'm glad you did Elena." I say and she leaves and I drive to Caroline's house.
"We are where." I say to her and she smiles at me.
"Valeria." She says calling me name but then not speaking.
"Yes Caroline?"
"It's not important. I will see you at." She says and get out of the car.
"Of course, don't be late." I say and she smiles.
"You look like every student fantasy." Bash says to me when I walk into the kitchen. Yesterday was spent with us getting out apartment set up and today I was going to school.
"I do not."
"With that ass and those boobs and that outfit you are going to make every boy have a boner."
"BASH." I scream at his way of speaking.
"What is true?"
"Well I need to go. I will see you at the grill at lunch."
I walk into the room where Alaric told me we would meet me and I saw with in a secretary.
"Good morning." I say to him and he looks up opening his eyes and getting up.
"Good morning Valeria." He says looking down and then up.
"Do you have the students' files?" I ask him and he nods giving me the books.
We talk about the students and the classes for some more time and when it rings he leaves wishing me good luck.
Caroline P.O.V.
I enter the classroom and I see Valeria writing her name in the board. She wrote Valeria Petrova and then turn and smile at Elena and I, we sit next to Bonnie who was surprise to see her.
"I didn't know she was going to replace Alaric." Bonnie says to me.
"Alaric asks her until he is completely adapted besides he deserves a break." Elena says looking at Valeria. At that moment the guys from the football team enter eying her like she was a goodness. Well she kind is. She looks sexy and professional at the same time. The pencil skirt and the blouse show her amazing curves and her tight waist and it still shows some for her long toned legs.
"I think I am calling Elijah to see what he is missing and maybe by some bibs to the boys." Rebekah says sitting next to me and I can't help but giggle. Valeria looks us clearly hearing us.~
"Ok class. My names is Valeria Petrova and I am going to replace Mr. Saltzman."
"For how long?" One of the boys asks her.
"Not sure yet, why do you already miss him." She says and all the call laughs. "Ok now everyone back to history." She says and most students make sad noises.
"A glass of bourbon." A voice says and Damon, Alaric and Kol turn to him.
"Didn't except you here 'lijah." Kol says to him brother.
"I needed a drink." He says and the guys turn to the door when Valeria came in and they stare at her with eyes open. When Elijah sees her his eyes are wide open just like his month. A man appear and hugged her.
"So how was work?" He asks playfully.
"Well one of us was to pay the bills." She says.
"Funny very funny."
"Have you already done something I would approve?"
"I always do thinks you don't approve but no I have been a good boy."
"That is true."
"We have eyes on us." He says and she looks at us and they start to walk in our direction.
"Isn't a little earlier to drink all the alcohol in the bar?" She asks and Elijah looks at her and the man with jealousy in his eyes.
"Nop, wanna join us?" Damon asks and she nods with her head.
"Can't take much time, I have classes in the afternoon."
"Speaking of that, how did it go?" Alaric asks her.
"Very nice actually. Oh, this is my friend Sebastian. These are, Alaric, Damon, Kol and Elijah." She says and takes a drink.
Elijah P.O.V.
I wait outside of the school for Elizabeth and when she appears she looks at me surprise.
"Elijah what can I do for you?"
"Can we talk?"
"Of course. Maybe in my classroom" She says and walks to the room that is empty. "What is it?"
"The Salvatore brothers told me you weren't living in them anymore."
"No. Bash and I moved to an apartment." She is leaving with him.
"Oh, who long have to be been together?" I say and she looks at me confuse then she realized what I asked.
"Bash and I aren't like that. We are like brother and sister." She says and then looks way from me. "No that you have anything to do with it." She says and then turns to me.
"Belle."
"Don't Belle me Elijah." She says angry. "Is that what you really want to talk about?" She asks me and something in my turns on and I kiss her. At first I can see the shock in here but then she starts to kill me back. I almost forgot who good is to kiss her, the passion that I get when I kiss her. I push her to the table and sit her as she pulls her legs around me. We kissed for what must be minutes but then she snaps.
"I can't go this." She says pushing me away and fixing her hair. "I can't." She whisper and I get to her pushing her eyes to mine. Her grey blue eyes show everything, the hurt and the fear.
"Yes you can. We can do this." I whisper at her making nothing more but to kiss her.
"No I can't, not again." She says leaving the room.
