"Come on, Machi. No need to be so snarky."

Machi quickened her pace. Why would Danchou even let me work with him? she thought.

"What you are calling my 'webs' are just my nen stiches, Hisoka. I have told you this before. I am no half-spider. "

Hisoka caught up to her. "I think your nen ability is truly fascinating and it was you who said if I didn't show up to another Troupe gathering I would never be able to see your nen stitches again. So why do you seem so irritated? Are you-"

Machi turned around abruptly to face him.

"It was not me who ever wanted you here. I was told by Danchou to tell you to come." she turned back around and slowed her pace. She knew she could not show he was getting to her.

"If your Danchou was the one who wanted me to come he should have addresses me himself."

This is truly pointless. Machi thought. "He probably just doesn't want to deal with such creeps as yourself"

"How cold of you, Machi." Hisoka chuckled. "I can tell you one thing for sure."

"And What can you tell me." Machi sighed, a bit in defeat. She knew whatever he was going to say would be childish, sadistic, or plain creepy as usual, but she had lost motivation to argue.

Hisoka leaned down a bit so that his mouth was at her ear. "You interest me, but your Danchou interest me more."

Machi's chest dropped. Stupid! she thought. "Well you can tell that to Danchou." Machi tried to ignore the burning in her ears but what Hisoka had just told her made her somewhat jealous. No, it was just anger. It had to be. How dare he insult Danchou?

There was no way she could ever feel something like jealousy for a clown like him.

Letter From the Author:

Well, this is it. I may make another HisoMachi fan fiction in the future. I actually want to start working on a fan fiction with the Zaoldyeck family. I hope you enjoyed this!
