I looked around, and tried to find my female snow leopard cub only to see a blonde hair guy with a sports jacket on that had the letters EA on the upper shoulders
"Briar!" I yelled "Where are you?" The blonde looked at me from a distance. Hugo jumped down from his seat on the carriage
"What's wrong?" He asked seeming worried
"My snow cub is missing, she fell from the carriage upon arrival" Hugo sighed
"What's her name?" Hugo asked me
"Briar I named her Briar she was a going away gift to me from Dame Devin, and the Headmistress of my previous school"
"I see how's about we ask around then?" I shook my snowy blonde hair
"No leaving her is like a mother abandoning her own child. . . Wait I have an idea" A small formed across my once saddened face "Hu will you help me?" I asked the witch next to me
"I live to serve my lady now what is it that you need?" He requested
"I need some cover"
"I can do that do I dare ask why?" I laughed as I unlaced my snow boots, slipped from them, and carefully began to remove my jewelry "You can't be serious? "
"What I'll have a better chance of finding her if I can sniff her out after all they don't call me the daughter of the Polar Bear King for nothing" Hugo adverted his eyes as I slipped out of my icy blue strapless dress, lightly tapping him on his left shoulder, he still kept his eyes closed I laughed a bit as I dropped my ice diamond necklace into his left palm " Now as soon as I find her I'll let you know the second you hear me growl follow, and then slip my necklace over my head got it?"
"Very well" I waited for the cover, as the transfiguration took over after a whiff of my snow cub I dared thru the under brush of the Enchanted Forest. In the distance near a small pond I spotted Briar whom was being held by some blonde hair girl with a strange fashion sense
"Aw you poor thing" I heard the blonde almost coo toward the cuteness of Briar. I snarled Briar wiggled from the girl's embrace, and ran up to me
"There you two are" I heard Hugo reply as he carefully approached me
"Oh hello Hugo"
"Hey Apple"
"So whose are these?" She asked me
"Ya know that new transfer student?" He asked her
"Oh right"
"These two are her pet companions"
"I see" Making sure I was away from prying eyes, Hugo slipped the necklace over my polar bear head, which slid onto my furry neck, I shook my head as I felt the figuration go back. Edmund whom was near by slipped his crimson cloak over me which to his, and Hugo's surprise went to a beautiful sapphire with the whitest snowflakes you had ever seen. I walked out from behind the brush
"I see you're doing well Princess" Hugo said not really knowing what to say I smiled softly up at him
"I am thank you Hugo" Edmund put a pair of soft baby blue ballet shoes down in front of me, I knelt down, and slipped them on just as I did so the beautiful sapphire cloak with freshly fallen snow flakes suddenly transformed into the most breath taking gown ever. I couldn't help, but twirl around in the gown as I laughed
"Princess this is Apple" Hugo said I curtsied
"Hello" I said still smiling "You must be the daughter of the famous Snow?" I asked her she nodded
"I am, and you?"
"Blair Knight daughter of King Valemon"
"So what's the name of your kingdom called?" Apple asked me
"Um I have two kingdoms one is called Winterland, and the other's Summerland"
"No one can possibly have two"
"Of course they can I am of both you see my father own's Winterland, and Summerland is my grandfather's kingdom"
"Oh well than that makes perfect sense when you put it that way so in which kingdom where you born?" She asked me
"I was conceived in the Summer one, and born in the Winter"
"Now that's confusing" I laughed
"Not really I thought so as well, but after a while my father explained it to me" Apple did a one take , and sighed "What's wrong?" I asked
"Are you the new transfer?" Apple suddenly asked I nodded as I picked Briar up "You're not what I thought"
"Let me guess most of the girls here wanted a male"
"Yea"
"I see well hmm you see I know of this school that has nothing, but men attending it" Right than Apple's blue eyes went wide
"Really?"
"Oh yeah all of them princes as well hey who in the hex is that?" I asked Apple pointing to a blonde man the same one I saw earlier
"Oh him . . .that's my ex boyfriend . .Daring Charming" I looked at her slightly confused
"Ex?" I asked
"Yes I made the mistake of cheating on him with my current one Nolan"
"I see"
"I don't see how he was so open to it"
"Whom was open to what?" I asked
"Nolan he was dating Sophia Romanov when I was with Daring"
"Not a wise choice Apple you doing that neither of you" Apple sighed sadly
"I know so what about you?"
"Um what about me?" I asked her
"You know any story book romances?"
"No I'm single"
"Any Best Friends for ever after?"
"No I just got here" She suddenly smiled
"Well now you have one"
"One what?"
"A friend silly"
"Oh right" I shook my snowy blonde head as the four of us followed the forest path up to a hill top. I saw a castle sitting upon the hill top
"I'm sure Headmaster Grimm will want everyone to meet you. . ." I noticed Apple was a chatty box, but didn't speak just listened "Hello Enchanting Kingdom to Blair, Hocus Focus" Apple said sternly
"Right sorry wasn't paying attention"
"I can see that" Apple said laughing a bit as we walked thru the double doors of the palace that would be my home from home for an entire month a man in his mid forties walked up to us "Headmaster Grimm I found her" Apple said
"Found who my dear Apple?" The man asked her
"The transfer student " The man looked down at me, and was about to say something
"Now hold a sec I know I'm late, the landing didn't quite go well, and I lost my trunks, my school things have gone missing." I said upset the man looked at the two guys standing next to me, and Apple
"Is this true Hugo?" He asked the witch
"Actually Headmaster its my fault I crashed the carriage into one of the trees, Hugo had nothing to do with this all of Princess Blair's belongings fell into one of the forests ponds" Edmund said, He sighed
" I see how unfortunate" He pulled something from his vest pocket, and gave it to me "These are your school credit cards everyone here has them, one more thing" He handed me a folded piece of parchment, which I took "This is your new class schedule"
"Thank you Headmaster"
"Seeing how you don't yet have your supplies I'm giving you the rest of the day from your classes to go to the village" I opened the folded parchment in pink and purple was written Ever After High Class Schedule
Under that read Royally Rebellious also written in pink, and purple followed was a small paragraph which said
'You have a little Royal and a little Rebel in you! There are some chapters in your story you'd like to rewrite while you embrace some of your prewritten story' under that was my classes and the professor that taught them

"Apple here will show you around down in the village of Bookend" I made a sour face Apple looked at me
"Don't worry I'll bring along some of my girl friends, but first let me show you where your locker is" I followed Apple to the other side of the doors well across from them she opened one pinkish purple locker, and then slammed it shut "Raven!" Apple yelled a girl with raven hair, and almost gothic walked up to us
"What Apple?" The girl asked
"Could you put a polar bear on here with some of your stuff?"
"You mean my magic?" Raven asked her
"Yeah that its for Blair here" Apple pointed to me Raven smiled
"Oh hey I'm Raven Queen, and welcome to Ever After High"
"Thanks"
"A polar bear?" Apple nodded
"Okey dokey" With a few zaps here, and there a white snow bear appeared on the locker door
"Thanks"
"So Raven Headmaster Grimm's having me take Blair down to the village care to come?" Apple asked
"Um sure" I sniffed the air
"Something's either burning, or bubbling over" A girl with pastel pink, and light green wavy hair ran past us. I noticed she wore a tea cup hat not to mention she had finished setting up a table in a flash sudden I felt as if I was being pulled away
"Tea?" She asked me as she pushed me down into one of the four empty wooden chairs
"Um sure" I replied she smiled as she poured me a steaming cup of tea
"Raven come join us" The girl with the wild hair said, Raven just laughed, and joined us Hugo walked up to us
"I see you have met the new transfer student" The girl with the wild hair smiled at him, and nodded
"I'm Maddie, and you must be new" I smiled a bit as I sipped the warm tea
"Really what gave it away?" I asked 'Wait tea, wild hair, tea cup for a hat, a pet mouse' Then it dawned on me
"So figure me out yet?" She giggled I nodded
"You're daughter of Mad Hatter"
"Good guess tell me what give me away?" Maddie asked me
"Well for starters you're slightly mad, you have a tea cup for a hat you enjoy your tea time, and you have a pet mouse also you seem to speak in riddles at times"
"I have a riddle for you"
"What's that?" I asked her
"Why is a raven like a writing desk?" Maddie asked me stumped I put my chin in my palm, and thought about it
"Hmm I honestly don't think it was meant to have an answer, but to ease your mind they can both produce a few notes, howbeit flat, and the wrong end is never put front. I guess" Maddie blinked a couple times
" I never thought there was an answer" Raven said
"Its not suppose to be answered that's the whole point"
"Oh"
"I like you" Maddie said after finishing her tea
"Thanks"
"So newbie?"
"Maddie!" I heard Raven scold Maddie burst out into giggles
"Sorry"
"Its fine so either of you want to join me in the Village of Bookend?" I asked
"Sure" Both girls replied in union we joined Apple as we left the castle of After High
"Ooh window shopping!" I heard Apple scream, she grabbed my right wrist, pulling me to a horse drawn carriage as we got in the carriage took off down the path towards the Village of Bookend an hour later we arrived at the Village I jumped down from the carriage, and again was grabbed by an energetic Apple White as the four of us walked thru the village I spotted this one knee length icy blue dress

My jaw dropped at the sight of the dress.
"So find one you like?" Apple asked me I nodded
"Yea the icy blue one with the crystal bodice" A dark brunette walked up to us
"So are we going to shop, or what?" I heard her ask Apple
"Patience Briar" I blinked my teal eyes
"Wait as in Sleeping Beauty?" I found myself asking
"Yep she'd be my mom" The girl called Briar replied "And you?"
"Daughter of King Valemon"
"What makes him . . ."
"He was cursed as a polar bear for several cycles most known him as the Polar Bear King"
"Oh wait wouldn't that like make you a polar bear?" She asked me I shook my snowy blonde head
"Nope just his daughter" I lied a pair of blue pumps with ice crystals caught my attention

I looked up at the shoe store sign that read 'The Glass Slipper' as I read the sign it dawned on me that who ever owned this shop was the child of none other then Cinderella, Apple again pulled me into the door of 'The Glass Slipper' I saw a teenage girl around my age, or a year old whom was wearing a pair of golden bronzed shoe shaped earrings.
Apple, and Briar went to talk with the girl whilst I looked around the shoe store the girl then walked up to me
"Hi I'm Ashlynn"
"Hiya name's Blair so what time do you guys close?" I asked her
"Midnight, and not a second later 'Yep she is defiantly Cindy's daughter that's for sure' I thought to myself
"I take it you really love shoes" She smiled, and nodded
"So Apple tells me your in the Village for some" I sighed
"Unfortunately I am I lost my entire wardrobe on the way here to the castle"
"Aw I'm sorry to hear that"
"Not your fault Ash" She smiled at me again
"So what are you in the village for?"
"Hmm not sure mind if I have a look around?" I asked Ashlynn nodded I looked around until a pair
Of silver heels caught my teal eyes

"Holy mother of Christmas" I said Apple, Ashlynn, and Briar looked at me confused; Maddie just laughed as Raven shook her ravened locks
"So I take it you like that silver ones?" Ashlynn asked me I nodded "Fine choice I'll ring you up" I followed Ashlynn over to the register to pay for the silver heels I went to take out the school credit card when Apple stopped me
"I'll get them for you"
"Why?" I asked now confused
"Its what Best Friends for ever after do for each other"
"Oh I suppose then" Ashlynn just shook her head as she picked a few more shoes, and placed them into the purple shopping bag
"Ok your total is $58.95 Apple White oh I heard thru a pumpkin vine that Headmaster Grimm might actually be throwing a Masquerade Ball this year" Apple paid for the shoes
"Really?" Raven asked; Ashlynn nodded
"Quick quest does anyone know where I can get, or find a job at?" I asked out of the blue
"Oh I know down a few shops from here is a dance club that is in need of a few singers its called 'Red Shoes Dance Club'. Or if you like there's a pet adoption center that's run by Poppa Bear" Ashlynn told me
"Thanks" In the distance I could hear swinging curious I followed the noise it brought me into the Dance Club I saw a platinum blonde male singing for some unknown reason I couldn't pull away "Whose that?" I asked the girls
"Oh him he's an elvish prince" Briar said un caring really I suddenly sniffed the semi dry air
"You guys smell that?"
"Hmm smell what?" Apple asked confused
"Like burning wood, or" I ran from the Dance Club only to see a house in the distance going up in flames.
My bear instincts kicked into over drive, snarling I took off thru the Village of Bookend bob, and weaving my way thru the now crowded area screams suddenly filled the village I sighed as I ran further from the crowded village to the outskirts only to find a tall building that was a set a blaze 'Holy Hexes' I thought
"My children . ."I heard a woman weep I ran over to her
"What's wrong?"
"Oh Miss its my two young children they're up on the third floor"
"Wait here" She nodded as I ran towards the burning building
"Young Miss you can't go in there" A man said
"Watch me!" snarling I ran into the building, and quickly up the broken steps I managed to get up to the third floor well almost my throat felt as if it was on fire I looked for a near by open window, and carefully climbed out onto the roof, I than removed my necklace, slipping it over my right wrist three times just before the polar bear with in me came snarling to life.
From the roof I could see everything in the Village of Bookend. I also heard the sounds of young children crying I jumped thru the opened window again in desperate search for them I sniffed the now extremely hot air I followed the scent to a small bedroom, I rose upon my back paws, and crashed thru the bedroom door thankfully the children where fine. I know I couldn't speak in this form so I pushed them towards the door with my fuzzy head after a few confused looks they got the message, and followed me out of the burning house. Under the complete cover of the thick black smoke I slipped my necklace back over my head in slid into its place around my neck I stretched my long limbs, and helped the children exit the remaining part of the building
"Miss behind you!" I heard the young boy yell, I looked over my left shoulder to see a piece of ceiling coming towards us
"Go come on" I said as I pushed them thru the burning, now falling apart building. I managed to push the two siblings from the wreck when I felt blocked I suddenly looked up, noticing my right foot had been caught under some fallen building pieces
"But Miss"
"No I'll be fine now go, and get to safety!" I hired my soft voice little did I know was that my heroic deed was actually being recorded. Half an hour later I some how got my foot out of the rubble, I ran until I find the light, but as I did so unconsciousness over took me . . . . . To be continued
