I am so sorry for the long wait guys and girls, but I had no inspiration for the story for a while so that is why it took months for me to come back to it. I have also had some personal things going on for quite a while, but I am back. So here is chapter 8. Enjoy. Please R&R! 3

Chapter 8 - The Spy

After William had disappeared, she managed to get a couple of hours to herself; she showered and meditated a bit. Raven was about to settle down with one of her favourite books, until she heard a knock at her door again. She could feel herself boil with rage in the inside, but trying to keep your temper when you can't get any peace is hard in this tower.

It was Starfire, seems she had just come back from a shopping trip as she barged into Raven's room with a load of shopping clothes bag from the mall. Raven sighed a bit, she just wanted some peace and to settle down with a good book. But that looked like it was going to have to wait a while.

"Oh friend Raven, I have just been to the mall of shopping. It was delightful. Please, let me show you what I got whilst I was there." She shrieked with the biggest smile anyone could ever smile. Raven held her breath and tried to calm down. Starfire is her friend, and she doesn't want to lose her temper with her.

Starfire pulled out of one of the bags, some large hot pink stiletto high heels and attempted to walk in them as Raven sat back and watched her. It was like a fashion show, Raven couldn't help but smirk a bit when she stumbled a bit then proceeded to do a silly dance in her heels.

"Starfire, wait.. I hear someone at the door sniggering." Raven attempted to whisper, as she heard feet outside her door, whoever the person was they were not doing a very good job of being sneaky. The shoes were squeaking every time the person put their foot on the floor.

Raven used her powers to open the door, and the person was covered in her black powers. With a flick of her hand, the person was dragged into the room and her powers let go of them with a thud. It was Beastboy, he landed on the floor, face first. "Owww Raaaaaaveeeen, you could've broken my gorgeous nose if you weren't careful." As he tried to be humorous, rubbing his nose like a child. Raven was having none of it.

"Beastboy. Why are you listening into my room?" Raven snarled at him, her four eyes suddenly appeared. Infuriatingly burning with anger.

He tried to clear his throat nervously before speaking, she could sense he was nervous by his heart rate speeding up and a drop of sweat appeared on his forehead. "I..I-heh..funny story actually.." *Gulp*

Raven was in no mood for his silly games, Starfire was lost for words as she watched helplessly frozen on the spot.

"Tell me why you are here, or else you will suffer the consequences. You know what I get like when my demon side gets.. well, out of hand." She said with a low sarcastic tone, there was a hint of deepness in her voice. Her glowing, furious red eyes pierced Beastboy like a thousand knives going into him at once.

He finally snapped. "Alright Rae, Robin sent me to spy on you so he know every single move you make." He sighed "Can you please let me go so I can swallow what is left of my pride?" Raven carefully put him down, and he trudged back to his room.

She knew Robin would get like this, as he would always want his precious prizes to be "safe". Robin treats Raven more like a prize to be won than a friend and teammate, she thought to herself. William shows her love and affection, and unlike Robin, William is a true gentleman.

Starfire tried to re-gain her words and thoughts as to what just happened, but Raven ushered her out of the door with her bags before she could even blink.
