MOCKINGJAY SPOILS! Set after Katniss yells at Buttercup about Prims death. I didn't think there was enough Katniss/Peeta in this book, so I wrote this cute one-shot. Where Peeta is there for Katniss to lean on about her sister's death.

Describing it would give it away; this is something that I thought would happen as I read the book. Also wrote this very late at night, where I just needed to get the idea out, but had no energy to write a story. Very short drabble, one shot.

What would happen if Gale agreed to run away with Katniss?

Would it be better to be blind to the world? To the brutality of Panem? Our eyes have become dull and maimed from the woes we've seen. We are the Victors, and we cannot erase the worst of the world from our vision. Song/Poem. CC highly appreciated.
