Lights of Addiction
Chapter III: The Starting...
Aurora was not in her chair at dinner, which caused some worry in the group. Normally, Aurora was the first to the dinner table, eager and hungry. Kris said Aurora snacked a lot when she was "free", so she can't eat big meals, but must eat small portions throughout the day, instead.
"What do you think is wrong?" Inari asked Kris as the two sat down.
Kris shrugged and sat down. "I haven't the slightest clue. You should as you are her roommate…"
"Hey…!"
Yusei stared at his food and his eyebrows creased. He had met another resident; her name was Savannah and she had OCD problems ( she called it CDO so that the letters were in alphabetical order ); so when he was going to sit in Aurora's chair, Savannah snapped at him and forced him to pull up another chair next to "Aurora's Chair".
"Savannah!" a boy with spiky orange hair had chided. "Don't be so mean!"
"But Crow!" Savannah had whined. "I want everyone to sit in their seat that I assigned them."
"Everything okay with you, newbie?" Yusei looked up and saw Kris staring at him from across the table. "You haven't touched your food."
"Yeah. I'm fine. Just thinking," Yusei responded.
"'bout?" Inari chimed in.
"I bet he's thinking about Aurora," Kris teased. Yusei made a face as if to respond, but Kris continued. "If I were a guy, I would be daydreaming about that beauty too."
"But you're not a guy," Jack jumped in, pulling Kris into a one-arm hug. "And I'm glad for that."
"Who said I'm not?" Kris joked. "I may have a girl body, but I feel like being a guy would be a lot easier than dealing with the red ninja…" Her eyes wandered to Yusei, who was still poking at his food. "There's something that's been bothering me, though."
"What's that?" Jack asked.
"The way Aurora responded to Yusei when he hugged her." Kris paused for a moment, like trying to gather her thoughts, and then continued. "She doesn't like people touching her, let alone hugging her. It took me a good five months for her to trust me enough to touch her shoulder."
"What happened to her to make her that way?" Yusei asked.
Kris shrugged. "She never told me. I have a few guesses and a hunch as to why though; deducing from her behavior and actions, I have narrowed down the field to a few possibilities."
"Like?" Inari asked.
The table had gone silent, all listening to Kris.
"Abuse would be the first option," Kris said, her voice tentative and slow, gauging the audience. "Then, there's the possibility of a personality split or… something else."
"Abuse, huh?" Yusei muttered, going back to poking at his food. "Wonder what kind."
"I would assume physical," Kris said, filling her fork with pasta and gobbling it down.
"That's enough of that conversation," a Gray Coat said as she passed. "Aurora is just sleeping."
"Still?!" Kris looked shocked, the worried. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing life-threatening," the Gray Coat said, "just sleeping."
Kris narrowed her eyes, examining the Gray Coat.
"Don't worry about it," Jack said, placing a hand on Kris' shoulder. "I'm sure she's fine."
Yusei watched the interaction and a thought crossed his mind. When the Gray Coat was busy, he cleared his throat and the table looked at him. "When did you arrive here, Kris?"
Kris looked down, her bangs hiding her features. "That's… not something I can discuss."
"Was Aurora with you?"
"No."
Questions raged through Yusei head, but most of them centered around Aurora, and he didn't want to bug Kris any more than he already had. So, he resumed eating.
The door opened, and then closed and in walked a timid Aurora. She walked up behind Kris and whispered something in her ear. Kris jumped at the appearance of her friend, but her eyes narrowed as she realized what Aurora was saying.
"Jack," Kris said, once Aurora was finished and was moving back towards the door.
"Hm?"
"Can you help Aurora?" she asked, emphasizing the word 'help' as if it had a second meaning. Yusei was confused.
Jack nodded. "Sure, as soon as I finish my food."
"What do you mean?" Yusei asked. "Is there any way I can help?"
Kris looked at Yusei, analytical eyes boring into his soul. Finally, one eyebrow popped up and she smiled. "Sure. You can help. Let's finish our dinner and I'll tell you how you can help."
Jack looked like he wanted to protest, but Kris shot him a look and he returned to his food.
They finished dinner in silence and, when finished, bussed their plates and Kris found Yusei. "Jack's going to assist you as he knows what to do. Follow what he says."
"Where is Jack?" asked Yusei.
"He's 'preparing' Aurora." Kris' eyes sparked and she smirked, then the expression was gone. "Inari!" she called and the emerald-eyed girl walked over. "Can you stay with me in my room for a bit?"
"Sure. Will we play a game?" Inari asked, and Kris nodded.
"Yeah, we can play a game. What do you wanna play?"
"Settlers of Catan!"
"Alright. Get the game and I'll finish telling Yusei what to do."
Inari nodded, her expression vividly excited, then it changed to a rather sarcastic tone. "Is he going to do her?"
"It's the only way to calm her down," Kris reasoned.
Yusei was starting to piece together what he was going to do. But, the biggest pieces were still missing. As he and Kris walked towards Aurora and Inari's room, Kris was explaining that Aurora was going to resist him, but he needed to be firm with her.
"And, listen to Jack. He's done this before. He knows what he's doing. And if he jumps in, don't stop him."
"…Sure," Yusei said without really thinking about it.
Kris opened Aurora's door and Yusei walked in. Inside, he saw a naked Aurora, bound in a harness to her hips, her legs frog-tied together and her hands in a dragonfly sleeve. For the first time, he noticed a collar around her neck and a ball gag in her mouth.
Something stirred within Yusei at the sight.
The door shut behind him, and he saw Jack lock it.
"Well… I'm assuming you know what you need to do," the other boy said, approaching Yusei. "She's been so patient. You shouldn't waste any time." Jack began to de-clothe Yusei, feeling up his chest and removing his shirt. Yusei shuddered under the foreign touch, and twisted out of Jack's grip.
"I can do that on my own," he muttered and removed his pants and boxers as he walked towards Aurora. She opened teary sapphire eyes and her eyes widened as she saw Yusei approach.
"Just be careful before you start," Jack cautioned. He gestured to the bedside table where a variety of bdsm toys were layed out. "You have some toys you can use before going all the way…" Jack smirked. This would be entertaining.
