District 9
"Isabella Hartley." Was the next name that was called. "Good luck." The other three girls said. "Thanks. You too." I said back to them and I walked away. "Welcome. Show us what you can do." A man with grey hair said to me when I got into the room. I believe his name was Max Hamilton. "Okay." I said to them and I started going to the plants department. I took some of it and started mixing the good ones with the bad ones. Within a few minutes, they looked the same, so people couldn't recognize the good plants or the poisoned ones apart. Next I took some leaves and rolled them up and I could should the plants far. "You can go." The people who were watching me suddenly said. I bet they don't want me shooting with it. I thought and I walked away.
District 10
"Cleo Setori." I stood up and I said success to Emma and Rikki. I'm going to do my best, even though I'm going to die in a few days. I thought. "Welcome. Show us your talent." They said to me. I decided to use my voice a little. "Ooweeoh." I sang as loud as I could. Just as I expected, they judges held their hands to their ears, since I sing incredibly bad. Some glasses even broke. I know that singing isn't going to help me in the games, but I can use it to distract people. I thought. "Please go and don't sing anymore." One of them said and I walked away.
District 11
"Emma Gilbert." I walked into the room and saw a group of people looking at me. "Show us your talent." The man in the middle said to me. I walked to the spears and I took one. Then I started throwing it as far as I could do. I even hit the dolls right in the heart, even though they were twenty-five meter away. "You can go." One of them said and I turned around. When I took a closer look, I saw that they were bored and wanted it to be over it. Oh oh, they are going good when Rikki is coming next. I thought and I walked away.
District 12
"Rikki Chadwick." They announced. I stood up and walked away, leaving the empty room behind. "Welcome, show us your talent." One man said. I walked straight to the bows. I got one of them and I started shooting at dolls, all of them in the heart. When I turned around, I saw them only paying attention at their food and based on their attitude, I knew they didn't see anything I just did. "Hey, here I am!" I yelled at them, but they still didn't pay attention to me. As angry as I got, I pulled an arrow from my back and when I put it on my bow, it got on fire. I then shoot it to them. Lucky for the judges, the arrow bounced of an invisible wall, but they were alerted. They all looked at the arrow, which was laying on the ground, still burning. "You can go now."
I know what Rikki did is the same as what Katniss did in the book, but I would see Rikki doing the same thing, don't you?
