Hello my boy.

James' point of view:

What had I done? But what had Michael heard had he heard everything, does he know everything? I was done in the cellar locked up in chains which were unbreakable for werewolves. And being down here I had no idea if Michael had gotten Scott, but I assume not.

I deserved the punishment I was given as I defied my father, but now no one could protect Scott as I couldn't get in touch with anyone to help them. Well until now, Sam was on his way down to check on me as being the youngest, the runt of the litter he did have to do the menial tasks. But he did have some benefits.

"Sam." I whispered.

"What? You know I can't talk to you." He said.

"Keep your voice down."

"There is no one else here anyway they went out."

"Where?"

"Out, you know where anyway."

"I need you to do something for me."

"What?"

"I am down here for another 3 days until my week is up and I need you to stop them from getting the true alpha."

"Why would I do that?"

"Trust me, go to Deaton's veterinary office tell him I sent you and say that Scott needs protection."

"You know his name, how do you know his name."

"Long story not worth knowing, but if you want to be I my good books you better do as you are told, and if anything happens you tell me."

"They are out looking for him now, so what can I do to help."

"They may not get to him though yet."

"They know where he lives James."

"But they will smart about it, dad will not just burst in without a plan."

"It isn't dad it is Michael."

"Still he will be smart about it as without a plan he is rendered useless."

"i really don't see what use me going to Deaton will do."

"Just listen to me go to him and tell him that Scott is in danger. I am older and more superior than you but you don't need to know why but please just do it."

"Okay, I am confused about this situation but if it is what you want."

"It is."

Sam was a good kid at the end of the day, but needed to get his priority straight. Everyone in my family was a kill now ask questions later type of person, apart from me who would try to assess their situation and I was trying to drive Sam on the same path as I follow. My dad and Michael were evil .also comes consequences. Hiding things for years may cause Scott his life and I don't want him to die, I don't want him involved but he was born into this world; into this family. So he has no chance of getting out of it by the looks of it.

I assume Sam would rush right to Deaton's but whether Deaton could do anything about it in the time we had was another story. Deaton was one of two father figures to Scott the other being Stiles' father and I know he would do anything for my son which is why I wanted Sam to find him. And he needed to do that soon.

Scott's point of view:

Everything had been quiet too quiet for my liking as I knew the longer it was quiet the more dangerous it would be when trouble comes knocking at my door. I hadn't heard from my dad let alone seen him in days. I know he spent his days watching me and my house as I could sense his presence but that hadn't been anywhere near my house and I was worried.

Although I didn't like him he was a part of my life whether I wanted him to be or not. And you know you say when you don't like someone that doesn't mean you want them to get hurt as sometimes that is the one thing you wouldn't want to happen to them. He told me he meant no harm which at the time seemed ludicrous but he was right, he had done everything to protect me and I pushed him out of my life.

Isaac was confused to whom he was and being part of my pack he did deserve to know as he seemed to be the only one out of the loop. Obviously Derek knew he had been keeping this from me, stiles knew because he is my best friend, and he told Lydia who told Allison and Aiden as well as Ethan so that left Isaac. The nice thing about Isaac is that he knew he was out of the loop but he never wanted to pry into your business so he waited until you told him.

"Scott, who was that man earlier."

"He was my dad."

"I thought."

"Yeah before you finish that sentence I know what you are thinking and you are wrong, I was wrong my dad is part of the original werewolves."

"So does he know you weren't born a werewolf?"

"No he hasn't asked so I don't plan on telling him."

"Why?"

"Firstly everyone in his family is born a werewolf, and if they are born human then they abandon them. And secondly from doing research no true alphas have been a bitten werewolf it is usually the alpha that is nominated by the pack. So him finding out will not only ruin him but also his reputation."

"So why is he back here?"

"Not quite sure as I don't trust him, as his pack is after something and I want to find out but not at the point to get everyone else hurt."

"So what does that mean, you are just giving up?"

"No I am going to see how it plays out, at the minute they are not causing any trouble so there is no need or intervention but something tells me trouble is only a matter of time away."

"What makes you say that?"

"Isaac a leopard never changes its spots so he will fall back into his old habits but he will pay for it."

"I think based on what you've told me is that he cares about you and is trying to change for you, but if you keep pushing him away then yes he will fall back into his old habits. His family have made him how he is today and the fact that he wants to change and be a better person if purely based on your influence, so open up to him tell him that you do care about him as if not then he will fall into a shame spiral and hurt not only other people but himself as well."

"I honestly don't know with him one minute he wants to help, the next he is hurting Stiles but he saved my life and I owe him that but you can forgive but you can never forget. And he has been in this town all of 5 minutes and people are getting hurt."

"if you listen to what you are saying you have told me that he has saved you and has attempted not very successfully to do good for you so give him a chance, you have a dad Scott one who wants to be good for you don't throw it away."

"You're right but I just can't bring myself to trust him."

"In your head or your heart."

"Head, my head tells me he is bad news and my heart tells me that he may be good for me and that he is only doing what is best for me or at least trying to."

"Then follow your heart Scott."

I could sense something was off and that we were being watched. I might just be paranoid but something was wrong, more to the fact that my mum wasn't back from work yet and her shift finished an hour ago. It was unlike her if she was going to be late for her not to call but most likely I was worrying over nothing. But something felt wrong; there was a pit in my stomach telling me that she was in danger.

There was a knock on the door and I made my way there to answer it. My mum was out there but she was frightened I could hear her heart racing with fear. I swung the door open to see her locked in a tight grip with my dad's brother holding her. She looked like she was going to cry but was frozen with fear as if she fought him or tried to even move when he didn't want her to he would have no problem hurting her.

"Hello, I think it's time you come with me. Being the true alpha. If not I kill your mum."
