I don't own any of these characters. If I did, that wouldn't be a good idea.

Emma's p.o.v.

"Go on. You need to stand in there." Louis pointed towards the giant tube. I took a deep breath and I stepped on it. "Thanks for everything." I whispered to her before the tube closed. "Good luck Emma." Was the last thing Louise said to me and I started going up. It went completely dark and I needed to close my eyes when I saw light again. I opened my eyes again and when I looked around, I saw Rikki on the left by me, Cleo on the right and Bella next to Cleo. We all faced the camp where the supplies were laying. My eye fell on a brown backpack and I knew that I needed it. I prepared myself to run when the cannon was shot.

"Run!" I yelled at the others, but they didn't listen. Instead, I saw Byron coming at me with a giant knife. I screamed and I rolled over. But he jumped towards me and I held my hand up, instantly freezing him on the inside. I took the backpack and the knife and I started running to the forest. I couldn't see the others, but I didn't care. All I could think of was getting away from his body.

After I had run for an hour of two, I finally stopped. I looked around, but I only saw a few trees, but then I heard something important. I followed the sound and found an river. "Perfect." I said softly to myself when I heard someone call my name. "Who's there?" I asked as I held the knife for me. "It's me, Cleo." The voice said. "Where are you?"

"I'm in the water." Cleo answered me and she appeared in the river, startling me. "How?" "I used my power to get the water covering me up." Cleo explained to me. I then saw her eyes getting really big before she screamed: "Emma, behind you!" I ducked just in time see Miriam coming out of the forest with a knife towards me. I jumped into the river and Cleo and me swam away. Miriam stayed there looking perplexed.

Cleo and me swam as fast as possible, until we had reached the end of the river. When we surfaced, I saw a giant waterfall. "C'mon." I said to Cleo and she followed me to it. "Can you open the waterfall? Like splitting it?" I asked her. "For what?" She asked. "There is usually a cave behind a waterfall. I want to know if there is one here." I said to her. Cleo's face was blank first, but then she got it. Cleo used her powers and I was right. There was a cave behind it, a big one too. "Let's go." I said and we got into the cave. Cleo used her powers to close the waterfall again and to get the water of us. "I'm glad I can stand again." I said. "Shall we make this our home for now?" Cleo then asked unsecure. "Sure. But we only need to find Rikki and Bella now." "And Lewis." Cleo added. "Cleo, are you sure it is a good idea to take him here?" I asked her. "I don't know, but I trust him. It's like I know him for years." "Okay." I shrugged.

We stayed in the cave for a few hours, we only went out of it to capture a few fish to eat. I inspected my backpack and it contained an empty bottle, a compass and a lighter. "Yes." I said and I turned towards Cleo. "Can you take the water of the wood? Then I can light them and we have warmth and food." "Sure." Cleo said absently. When the night came, I dove into the water, invisible because Cleo surrounded me with water and I went out to see who had died today. Cleo was to scared and she had asked me to look. The pictures came and went and I got back into our cave. "How many and who?" She asked, her eyes big and frightened. I took a deep breath and….
