Last chapter everyone. I hope you enjoyed it and please review to me what you think about this story. This was my first one that is complete and I really hope your favorite has won. I won't babble on, so here is the last chapter of H2o just add the Hunger Games.
Emma's p.o.v.
Bella and I found ourselves a big tree with enough leaves to keep us covered for the rest. "I keep the first watch. In a few hours, I will wake you." I told Bella and she was okay with it. The first three, four hours went by without anything and I looked at the sky. "Almost done." I whispered as I saw who got killed on the night's sky. As soon as it was over, I heard some rustling and I put my guard up. I looked down and I saw Charlotte walking by. "Bells, Bella wake up." I whispered. "Five more minutes mum." She muttered. "Charlotte is close by." "What?" Bella said and she sat right up. "C'mon." I whispered and we both got down quietly. Bella and me both sneaked up behind Charlotte, but she had heard us. "You're going to die this night!" she screamed and Charlotte ran up to us with her knife close above her. "Duck!" Bella yelled and I did what she said. Charlotte missed me and she fell down.
Bella ran up to Charlotte, but she was faster. Charlotte stabbed Bella in the stomach and Bella fell down. Charlotte then proceeded stabbing her more and more, until I got by her. I pulled her away from Bella and I got a grab on her knife. Charlotte tried to look into my eyes, but I didn't hesitate. I stabbed her with all the anger I had, not only because of her, but because of everything I've been through. With a last sigh, I let her go and Charlotte's eyes closed. I went over to Bella, who was still breathing and I held her in my arms. "It's almost over Bella." "Emma, promise me one thing." Bella said softly to me. "Don't let this take you over. Please remember me, Cleo and Rikki." "I will." I said and Bella closed her eyes. I sat there crying when the cannons blew up.
I expected to hear the Capitol to tell me that it all was over, but they didn't. As I looked up, a shadow fell down over me. It was Rikki's. She was covered in burning marks and her eyes looked crazy. "Rikki." I whispered as she held up her hand and closed them around my neck. I didn't even struggle and my last thoughts were: So this is the end. I will miss you mum, dad, Elliot. Please, don't let my dead hold your lives back.
No one's p.o.v.
Rikki let loose of Emma as soon as the cannon sounded. "And we have our winner!" the announcer said. "Rikki Chadwick from District 12." Rikki looked confused as a hovercraft flew above her and two men helped her up in it. As soon as she was in it, Rikki got taken to the hospital. They didn't get her burn marks away completely, but make-up did the rest. Rikki couldn't say anything as she was in shock. The whole tour, she kept silenced and in the end, only her mentor Julia could get her to say something. Rikki coached her tributes with respect, but the only one she managed to stay alive was a man who was called Haymitch Abernathy in the 50th Hunger Games. Three years after Haymitch had won, Rikki died at the age of 40. Nobody knew how she died, except the Capitol. Rikki had been put up by many tests, but she was kept alive to let the people see their winner. The Capitol, however didn't get the answer out of Rikki where she became a mermaid.
