Hey guys! It's Bubbly here, and I am here to write you yet another wonderful chapter of GLC: Our Future! In this chapter, Teddy enters a parallel universe somehow and things go awry. I'm hoping to drag this out until the end of the story so it's kind of a cliffhanger, so that you'll be dying to see my sequel, if I decide to write one. It'll be kind of like this: I'll end the story on a cliffhanger, and so if I decide to write a sequel, it won't be completely done, but if I don't write a sequel, you'll be making up the end in your head. Keep an eye out for me reviewing on my stories, because if I do, it's just me telling you something without writing an Author's Note, because I know how some of you hate that. ;)
And by the way, I was reading some reviews for this story, and I saw a comment that said Teddy and Spencer should have 6 kids all together being they had 2, 3, then one. And yes, they do. When Spencer said he could take care of all 5 kids, he meant the older 5... Teddy brought Noah with to catch up with Ally, and she brought Abigail. I hope I cleared everything up. :)
But I'm going to shut up and let you read this story. XD
P.S. In some of this chapter it says God, and I'm sorry if you don't believe in Him, I do. Anyway, it's part of song lyrics I modified to make it sort of look cool. :) Byeee!
Chapter 24 -Parallel Universe Part 1-
8:30 P.M.- TEDDY POV-
"Well, that was fun." Spencer says cleaning up the hotel room. Austin and Ally just went back to their home with Abigail, and the kids were sleeping.
"Yeah." I say.
"What's the matter?"
"I don't know."
"Be happy, Austin and Ally gave us all concert tickets and backstage passes."
"I'm not upset about that. I'm just upset that I took the kids away from their home. What if he finds us and we have to keep running?"
"He won't."
"You don't know that."
"How do you know he'll find us then?"
"Spence, I'm just worried."
"I know Teddy. I am too. But when you're with me, and the kids are with me, I feel complete. I love you."
"No, I love you more."
"I need you."
"No, I need you more."
"Teddy, I adore you. You're so beautiful and perfect in every way."
"I adore you. I adore you too." I say then kiss him. Then we lay on the bed that the kids weren't in.
"I love lying next to you, I could do this for eternity. You and me, we're meant to be in holy matrimony. God knew exactly what he was doing when he led me to you. I love you and need you Spencer Walsh." I finish.
"No, I love you more and I need you more Teddy Walsh." Then I fall asleep in Spencer's arms.
THE NEXT MORNING- TEDDY POV-
When I woke up I was in a new room. It was pretty big, had a bed, a dresser, closet, and other things. All I could think about was the kids and Spencer.
"Xander? Olivia? Elliot? Hope? Rosie? Spencer?" I call leaving the room. When I left the room, I was in a hallway. The house looked like ours but a lot bigger.
"Kids?" I call again.
"Yes mommy?" A little 2 or 3 year old girl says. She looks just like Olivia.
"Olivia?"
"No. Mommy, my name is Mia."
"Where are your siblings?"
"Mommy, I only have one broder."
"Where is he?" I ask, then she points to the living room. I quickly go into it and see a little boy that looks just like Xander.
"Xander, what are you doing?" And he just ignores me.
"Hey." I say, touching his shoulder.
"Yes momma?"
"Xander what-"
"Momma, my name is Beau." Then I just stop. And feel like I'm going to pass out.
"Stop it. Where's your father?"
"Work."
"He doesn't work! Stop it!"
"Mommy?" Olivia, or Mia, says coming into the living room.
"Kids, where are your siblings?"
"I don't have siblings."
"Olivia- or Mia, yeah you do. They're triplets. Two girls and a boy."
"No I don't." She says.
"I'm calling your father." I say grabbing my cell phone and dialing Spencer's number. When he picks up I hear a tired hello.
"Spence I- what? No I always call you that. No, I talked to you last night. What are you talking about? And the kids said you were at work. What's BIPA? No, you went to DIPA while we were broken up before we got back together. Denver Institute of Performing Arts. And yes you do have kids, twins. And why is my son named Beau? No, you're his dad. Yes we have, like 1,000 times. What? Will you please explain to me what's happening?! No, don't hang up! No, Spence I-" Then he hung up on me.
"I'm home!" I hear a male voice say.
"Daddy!" The kids say going to the door. I turn around and see him picking up my kids.
"Beau. Put my kids down."
"Your kids? Come on Teddy, I got what you needed."
"I didn't say I needed anything." I protest.
"Yeah you did, you-" He says, then he takes me to the kitchen.
"You needed pregnancy tests, remember?"
"Beau, where are the triplets and Noah?"
"I don't know a Noah or triplets."
"How old are you? And how old am I?"
"Odd how you don't remember anything, did you bump your head?"
"Answer. My. Question."
"Okay, okay. I'm 19, you're 19. There, happy?"
"How old are the twins?"
"Mia and Beau are 2."
"Where do you work?"
"With your dad."
"Where's Spencer? What's happening?"
"In BIPA. He graduated early, went there, you two broke up, I came here and started dating you, then you got pregnant but your dad wasn't super upset, I proposed to you, you said yes, we had the twins, we got married, and now two years later we're trying for more."
"No, no, no."
"Yeah, that's what happened."
"Okay. I'm dreaming right? Or you've decided to be nice, and Spence is playing a prank on me. Right?" I say then go over to a mirror and see my 19 year old reflection.
"No, no, no!" I say.
"Maybe you should go lie down." Beau says comfortingly.
"You're really a nice guy?"
"Yeah, if I wasn't we wouldn't have two toddlers, married and be wanting more. I love you Teddy."
"So those are our kids?"
"I believe they are."
"That means we must've had- ew."
"Hey, come on now, that's not what you said two years ago. And how come you never told me I love you, you always do."
"Sorry, I'm just, tired I guess."
"Well, get some sleep."
"Okay."
A FEW HOURS LATER- TEDDY POV-
When I woke up I felt sick, so I rushed to the bathroom to throw up. When I got done, Beau was with me, holding my hair back. I couldn't get over how sweet he was being. No Teddy- stop, you can't like Beau.
"You okay honey?" Spence never called me that, why do I feel- no Teddy. Stop it.
"I'm fine."
"Maybe you should take a pregnancy test." Then I remembered, Beau came home with pregnancy tests, and I've been sick.
"Uh, uh, uh-"
"Are you trying to say yes?"
"S- sure."
"I'll leave you to it then." Then Beau leaves looking confused.
After I was done I was waiting in the bathroom, there couldn't be any way that I'm pregnant. I've decided it was a dream, and I'll wake up anytime now. And since it's a dream, if it's the past, and the only thing that's different is I'm married to Beau and our kids are named Mia and Beau, then everything must be the same. So I'm pregnant with triplets. Then I snap out of my thoughts, and look at the pregnancy test. It's positive.
"Hey, can I come in?" I hear Beau say.
"Yeah."
"Well?" Then I think, if I'm upset about being pregnant with Beau's baby, then he'll know something is up. I have to seem happy.
"Teddy, hey. Well?"
"I'm pregnant." I say with a smile.
"You're not happy?"
"I am Beau, I have a feeling that there's more than one though." I say.
"Okay, well. You should make an appointment so I can tell Bob I'll be with you. Want to bring the kids?"
"Nah, we'll have Ivy baby sit."
"You really must be sick or something Teddy."
"Why?"
"Teddy, Ivy's in college. Don't you remember?"
"Oh. Yeah, it's all coming back to me now." I lie.
"Okay."
A FEW MINUTES LATER- TEDDY POV-
"Okay, it'll be tomorrow. You don't have to come by the way."
"No, it's okay Teddy. I want to. It takes a second to say I love you, but a lifetime to show it."
"Thanks. I- I'm going to go get lunch ready. Why'd you come home early?"
"I was going to call you and tell you I'd be a little late coming home, because of this huge infestation, but your dad insisted I came home early."
"Oh, okay. What do you want?"
"I don't know, I'll eat whatever the kids want. Go ahead and make them a peanut butter sandwich."
"Um, no. I can't."
"Why not?"
"They're allergic to peanuts. I-" Then I look outside in the back yard.
"Shouldn't you go cut the grass?" I finish.
"They're not allergic to peanuts. And why should I cut the grass?"
"Yes they are, and because they're allergic to flowers."
"No they're not. Are you sure you're okay Teddy?"
"But they- uh, no. Maybe I should go lie down."
"Maybe you should. I'll make lunch."
"Okay."
THE NEXT DAY- TEDDY POV-
"Ready to go Beau?"
"Yeah. Your mom will be here any minute." When the doorbell rings, I go answer the door.
"Hi Teddy."
"Hi mom. Thanks again for watching these two." I say.
"No problem. Have fun."
"Will do mom. Bye." I say, hugging her before we go out the door.
APPOINTMENT- TEDDY POV-
When the doctor was doing the ultrasound, I was getting ready to watch Beau pass out because of me being pregnant with triplets.
"Well, are you ready to know how many you're having?" The doctor asks.
"Yes." We both reply.
"Looks like there's only one this time." Now it might be me passing out.
"Th- thanks." I say.
"Yeah, no problem. You're about 6 weeks pregnant and so far everything is good. You're healthy, baby's healthy. I'll be seeing you in about 2 weeks again."
"Okay. Thanks again." I say.
DRIVING HOME- TEDDY POV-
"You sure you're okay honey? You look like you've seen a ghost." Beau says.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just shocked." If I'm not having triplets, maybe I'm not dreaming… But if I'm not dreaming, then how am I pregnant? And how am I 19? I must be dreaming, I have to be…
"I don't believe you. You seriously don't look like yourself."
"Do you believe in realistic dreams, like to the point where you really don't think you're dreaming, but you have to be because there's no way everything that's happening is really happening because it's impossible?"
"Teddy, nothing is impossible."
"Well if you believe that, you obviously haven't tried to slam a revolving door."
"You know what I mean Teddy. What's with all the dream talk?"
"Trust me, if I told you, you'd put me in a mental institute."
"Trust me, if I was crazy, I'd put you in a mental institute. Tell me."
"Only if you don't think I'm crazy and watch where you're going." I say.
"Okay."
"A few days ago, I was married to Spencer, had 6 kids, twins, triplets, and a baby boy. We were in Miami, Florida because you were trying to get the kids. You were mean, horrible, and crazy."
"That sounds like a parallel universe."
"That's it."
"Teddy, I was kidding."
"But I'm not."
Oh snap. What might happen now that Teddy told Beau where they were? She thinks she's in a parallel universe, but, is she?
Oooh, I bet you're going crazy. And I seriously had no idea where to take this story, so I just thought to myself "hey, why not a parallel universe?" And here we are.
But now that she's married to Beau and Spencer's in BIPA, it's sort of like the show more now, except she broke up with Beau (Yay!) and they don't really have kids :P
Welp, I'm going to shut up so you can review (hint. hint.) Bye!
