Wow, four updates in the last 24 hours...

CaptainS10 made me update again...oh well, guess this story will be done by tomorrow!

Also, those big announcements will be told!

Once in the shuttleport, Artemis dropped the Cam Foil and started up the shuttle they had used to get down. Holly was in a seat in the back, sitting as quiet and as still as possible. They both knew that there were cameras in the shuttle, and neither of them wanted to risk getting caught by the council. They both rarely met each other's eyes; letting them wander around the shuttle instead.

Finally, the trip was over. The shuttle had stopped and Artemis grabbed Holly once again. Since it wasn't the middle of the night anymore, Artemis still used the Cam Foil as they exited the port. Artemis' car was still outside as he put Holly in the backseat again and drove. It was only five minutes before the car stopped again, so when it did, Holly opened her eyes from resting them. It didn't take a genius to figure out they weren't at the manor quite yet.

Artemis sighed, getting out of the car and opening the door for her. The elf hopped out, looking around to see the sun shining above. When her eyes finally adjusted to the brightness, Holly gasped. They were back at the clearing, the clearing where this all started 10 and a half years ago.

Artemis kneeled in front of Holly, getting to her height even though dirt got onto his suit. "I suppose you might want some magic in your system. You already have that cut on your ear and throat."

Holly nodded, "Thank you." She said quietly. "For everything." She stepped up closer, resting her head on his shoulder as she tried her best to wrap her short arms around the human.

"H-Holly." He said, pushing her away as he cursed himself for stuttering like a fool. "Are you sure you don't want to go to Haven? You're giving up Foaly and Julius, your life that you almost killed yourself over, everything you wanted for the past ten years. I don't want you to think you made a mistake and have to live with the consequences."

"I won't, Artemis." she said truthfully, looking into the human's eyes. "The only thing that held me away from you was the way you controlled me."

"Holly, I promise I won't be angry if you want to leave. I don't want you to be afraid of-" Artemis was cut off when Holly grabbed his suit jacket, pulling him close and kissing him. At first, Artemis didn't know what was happening. Then, he finally relaxed and kissed the elf back. A moment passed and Holly leaned back, resting her head on Artemis' and looking into his eyes.

"I love you, Artemis Fowl, I have ever since you showed a sliver of humanity 10 years ago. It might have taken that long for your ice heart to melt...but when you let me go, my heart melted completely."

Artemis sighed, pulling her into a hug as he buried his head into her flaming red hair. "Go and do the ritual." He said, pushing her lightly to the clearing. "I'll be in the car." The man got up and turned around, swiftly going to the Bentley parked a few yards away.

After a few moments of waiting in the drivers seat, Holly returned. This time, she went to the passenger seat, glancing at Artemis for a moment before putting on the seat belt.

"You should get some sleep." Artemis muttered as he started up the sleek black car.

Holly yawned automatically at the word. "Probably. I haven't slept in more than 24 hours." She paused, looking out the window before continuing. "Artemis...what you were playing in front of the council-"

"Was strictly that." He said, reaching over to brush her hair over her ear, smiling when the elf shivered from the contact on her ear. "Holly, I would never hurt you like that...not if my life depended on it."

"I was just wondering…" The elf yawned again. "You were pretty convincing."

"So were you." He ran a hand through his already tussled hair. "To be honest, I didn't think you would catch on at first."

"Mm…" Was Holly's only answer as she drifted off into sleep, her head rest on the armrest and her body curled up on the seat. Artemis chuckled, focussing on the road before him.

As soon as they got to Fowl Manor and Artemis parked the Bentley into its original position, the man looked over at Holly. She was still sleeping soundly, so Artemis just shook his head, exiting the car and going around to pick up Holly from the next seat. He held her closely as he carried her into the Manor and up the grand stairs. He finally got to her room and laid her down underneath the light green covers. Before leaving, her kissed her forehead tenderly, as to not wake her. However, as he was leaving the room, he heard her voice call out. "Artemis?"

The man turned around, going back to the elf as he smiled gently down at her. Her eyes were tired, but there was something there that Artemis hadn't seen in a while. That defiant spark that made Holly unique, made her an original elf. She was strong; at least, now she was, after so long.

"Yes?" The man answered, sitting on the side of the bed as he look around at her. "I thought you were asleep."

"I was...until you stopped the car." Holly smirked.

"You were awake?" Artemis chuckled. "I knew your breathing had gone rapid."

"You're losing your touch, mud boy." She said.

"Man, Mud man." He corrected her.

"Riiight." She held out. "Because, if you were a boy...I wouldn't be doing this." She sat up, pulling him down and crashing her lips to his for a third time that day. Holly moaned as Artemis opened his mouth, allowing her to dip her tongue into it. He rolled onto the mattress, pressing his body close to hers as one hand was in her hair and other one on the elf's waist. Holly put her arms around the human's neck, pulling him closer.

Artemis sucked on her lip, groaning as the elf beneath him wrapped her legs around his torso, pulling them even closer together. Finally, Artemis pulled back, looking down at Holly with an unanswered question on his lips.

"So you were well awake when I carried you up here?" He asked, quirking an eyebrow.

Holly smirked, nodding her head through seductive, narrow eyes. Artemis just shook his head, kissing her again.

After a few moments into their second make-out session, Artemis broke it, moving his lips to her neck and nipping at it softly.

"Aren't you tired as well?" Holly gasped as he found her pulse, sucking on it quite harshly. "Not that I'm trying to ruin the mood, but you haven't gotten any sleep either."

"I'll sleep when I'm dead." Artemis muttered against her neck. "Which will most likely be soon if Julius ever found out what we were doing."

Suddenly, Holly shot up. "Root! I forgot to call in a channel!" She scrambled forward, but Artemis caught her. He wrapped his arms around her waist, bringing her back to his chest and leaning down to kiss her neck.

"I think he will understand." He breathed against her ear, causing the elf to shudder. Artemis smirked at her reaction, putting his hand on the tip and light caressing the edge, making the elf lose all feeling in her body and fall back against him. She moaned lightly, closing her eyes as she tried to compose herself.

"We should both get some more sleep." He said, releasing her and causing Holly to whimper as his delicate fingers left her sensitive ear. He laid her down back on the bed, pulling the covers up again and starting to leave the room again.

"Artemis?" She asked sheepishly. He again, turned around, looking at the elf with an eyebrow raised expectantly. "C-can you…" Holly trailed off, not sure how to phrase what she wanted to say.

The man just chucked, going back over to the bed and removing his suit jacket at the same time. He laid it across a brown chair next to the nightstand. He then unbuttoned the top two buttons of his collared, white shirt, and laid down next to Holly, pulling her close to him. Holly pressed her face into his neck, breathing softly before drifting off into sleep, Artemis shortly falling after her.

Aww, yeah...fluff, gotta love it.
