James: Hey everyone, happy Saturday and also time for an update. So last week we know that we left you in suspense, love doing that to all of you, but we saw all that we're in trouble now and don't know what'll happen to us. But let's see what'll happen to us.

Chapter 20: Twin Separation
*later*
James: *groans opens his eyes to see darkness* Where am I? *and this time remembered that he was captured by the people from before. A fluorescent light buzzed directly above his head to make his eyes squint tight*
Unknown: Well well, someone is finally up.
James: *glares at the silhouette of the person in front of him and tried to moved, but couldn't. Looks over his shoulders and saw he was tied to a chair* Who are you? And where is my sister and friends?
Unknown: Look around you and see if that answers your question.
James: *looks to his right and saw his sister next to him and Lloyd was on his left. Looks around and saw the others were in the same position as he was and were in a big circle* You still didn't answer my questions. Where are we? And who are you?
Unknown: You already met Smith, I am Hugo Strange. The mastermind to this organization. We are unknown to the world and just call us Sector 8.
James: Hugo Strange? I thought you were based from a game I own. Not an actual person.
Strange: Things aren't the same as they appear. But if that's what you prefer than I don't care, Yang.
James: My name is not Yang. It's James. What is sector 8?
Strange: We are an organization that specializes with unnatural powers. We have been studying you and your twin and see the power you can possess. A fighter and healer. Yin and Yang.
James: *growls at him. Hears his sister groan and opened her eyes. Notices the others beginning to wake as well*
Mel: James, you're alright.
James: Glad to see you're alright too.
Mel: Where are we?
James: I don't know. But you're here with me and that matters most.
Mel: *looks at Lloyd and was scared. Then glared at Strange* Why kidnap us and harm this innocent child?
Strange: You and your twin posses unknown powers that we'll use to control the world.
Cole: That's it? Use these two that are only teenagers to control the world. You're out of your mind.
Strange: I wouldn't be so sure about that, Cole. I know about you and your friends too once had powers and can fight still. But these two are greater than you. Even one is hiding it. Smith, help out here.
Smith: *steps out of the shadows and headed towards Melody and freed her from her bindings and dragged her away*
James: Melody! Don't you lay a finger on her!
Smith: *pulled out a knife and brought it to her neck*
Strange: Unleash your powers, Yang!
James: *screams in anger and felt his hands heat up and stood up to have his hands free and looked at the black flames*
Everyone: *gasped at the sight of the flames and saw it grow larger in anger*
Mel: *eyes go wide* j-James?
James: *held out his hand and fired a black fireball at Smith and made a direct hit to his chest and saved Melody and glared at Strange*
Strange: Restrain him! Then send him to his cell!
Goon: *three run out with needle and charged at James*
James: *saw the goons run to him and charged at them. He jumps over one and sent a kick to his chest and sent a fireball to one he jumped over to his back. Picked up the needle the one he kicked and charged at the final one and sparred against him and with a sly hand, he inject the needle into the goon's shoulder and watched him fall to the floor. He looked at Strange and charged at him.*
Strange: *stood where he was and drew out a pistol and aimed it at James*
Mel: James, look out!
Strange: *fired the gun and a needle fired out and hit James' leg*
James: *stopped and slowly pulled the needle out and fell to the floor*
Mel: James! *ran over to him and cradle his head in her arms* What did you do? *with tears running down her cheeks*
Strange: Only a small sedative my dear Yin. Take him away and send him to his cell.
Goons: Sir! *one ran up to Melody and dragged her away from her brother while two others grabbed James' arms and dragged him away*
Mel: James! It can't be. My brother, my best friend, my Viv twin, is taken from me. What do they want from us?
Strange: Take the remaining nine to their shared cell and we'll begin training tomorrow.
Goons: Sir! *and eight more goons came out and dragged everyone away*
Strange: *sly grin* Very interesting today, right Smith?
Smith: I agree. We found our Yin and Yang. And soon have this world in our hands with them following us.
Strange: Only time will be them on our side. We need Yang to unleash his full potential power and everything will be in our hands.
*With everyone but James*
Everyone but James: *dragged into an enclosed, small room*
Mel: Please! Let me see James! *tears are streaming down her face and the door closes with no response. Melody notices the others are still tied* Hang *sob*on guys, I-I'll help you... *unties Lloyd first, as he's still unconscious and lays him on the only bed in the room. Continues to untie each one and then goes and sits next to Lloyd still crying*
Cole: *whispering* How do we get out of this one?
Dawn: For now, I'm gonna comfort Melody. She just watched her brother get taken from her into the hands of some clearly insane people. I don't know what I'd do if that was you Cole. *walks over to the tear-stained Melody and gives her a hug, talking comfortingly*
Nya: I'm gonna do the same. *joins the other two girls*
Kai: *still whispering* We still have a little of our powers, I say we bust out!
Jay: But they have James! What are we gonna do!
Zane: With calculating for guards, those two men who appear to be in charge, having to find James, actually getting out and figuring out where we are, there is a less than 10% chance of escape now.
Lucas: We all just need to calm down. If we find out what these people want, we can get it to them and leave. I say for now, we just try to sleep. Regain some energy, that sort of thing.
Cole: Sounds like a plan. For now, let's 'lay low' so to speak.
*other side of room*
Mel: *still crying, but less* Please wake up Lloyd... *strokes his hair* Girls, he's still really warm.
Dawn: This isn't good...
Lloyd: *eyes crack open* W-what? Mel... *cough* Where are we *shivers violently* C-cold...
Mel: *picks him up and hugs him close* It'll be okay Lloyd. I don't know where we are, but it'll be okay.
Lloyd: *looks around* W*cough*-ait where's James?
Nya: Not here right now Squirt, but it'll be alright.
Lucas: *walks over* Lloyd! You're okay! *hugs his cousin* Girls, we've decided for now, just try to get some rest. *sees Lloyd shivering uncontrollably* What's wrong, Shrimp?
Lloyd: I-I'm so c-cold...
Dawn: I've got an idea. Melody, lie in the bed and put Lloyd next to you.
Mel: Alright. *climbs in and lays the shivering boy right next to her*
Nya: Oh I see what you're doing! Lucas, now you lay next to Lloyd. Both of your's body heat will keep him warm.
Lucas: Okay, *lays down and strokes his cousin's hair* Don't worry Shrimp, it'll all be okay.
Lloyd: *shivers and snuggled deeper into Mel's side*
*with James*
James: When I woke up, I couldn't see where I was. It was too dark to see. I couldn't move either, I had been tied down. I couldn't speak or scream, for there was a gag in my mouth. My only thought right now was Melody. My loving, caring sister, who I can't live without. Where had they taken her? They better not have hurt her... For some reason, I couldn't summon my fire. It's like it was gone. No matter how much anger I felt towards those two men, it just wouldn't come... but now, all I can think is that I am alone. Completely alone.
*With Mel and the others*
Jay: So why is James is so important to them?
Kai: Does it have to do something with his powers? I mean did you see what he did.
Lucas: That must be his powers as a prodigy. If Mel has powers to heal, then James must have powers to destroy. The person named Strange called him Yang and Mel, Yin. But still why him separated from all of us?
Mel: *cries lightly* I don't know. I just want my brother back.
Lucas: *still strokes Lloyd's hair* Dawn, you once said that you could feel his powers in him, is this what you meant?
Dawn: *nods* Yes. Before he summoned the fire, it was cold and dark. But after he unleashed it, it was still dark but burning. And it keeps growing darker every time he summons it.
Cole: What do you mean by that, sis?
Dawn: I don't know.
Jay: But still why kidnap all of us? How do they knows us and what we do? Zane, can you tell where we are?
Zane: *has his panel open on his arm and was searching with a frown* Unfortunately I can't tell. There's too much interference that's scattering my data banks. I can slowly pinpoint our location, but it's hard to describe.
Kai: Where?
Zane: Somewhere in the desert in a state called Nevada, south of a city and surrounded by a large body of water.
Mel: The Hoover Dam. We're at the Hoover Dam. It's a dam that's suppose to suck up the river and help convert it to electricity. But it seems to have lower levels to hold us prisoners.
Lucas: Which also explains a secret organization that doesn't exist to the world. Zane, can you like hack into their computer systems and figure out why we're here and what they want with James and Mel?
Zane: That may take awhile. My algorithms hacking into the system may cause alarm and they'll shut me down. *thinks for a moment* Unless...unless I can search for a backdoor to their server without tripping an alarm and sneak in like a ghost or...
Cole: A stealth ninja. Try to work that out and let us know what you find.
Zane: Already ahead of you. *and pressed on his keypad to begin his search*
Nya: So what are we going to do then? Mel is heartbroken without her brother and Lloyd is sick.
Dawn: For now, we rest and try to comfort Mel.
*With James*
James: I saw flash of light buzzed out my head and could see it through the soft cloth of my blindfold. I heard footsteps walking to me and felt hands removing my blindfold off and saw Strange in front of me
Strange: Impressive work, Yang. Leave the gag in.
James: *glares at him for taking him away from his sister and tried to summon his black fire. But couldn't. He looks around to see his arms were stretched out and was lying on a table that was angle upwards for him with straps around his hands, legs, and chest*
Strange: Trying to summon your powers aren't you? The walls are lined with a special compound that is able to neutralize your powers. How you may ask? I spent years of research trying to figure out the powers of Yin and Yang and how you're the one who's going to help me. But in order for that to happen, you must train and follow under me *
James: And if I refused?
Strange: And if you refused and try to escape, we'll put harm to your sister and friends.
James: *felt his blood turn ice and turned his gaze down*
Strange: So tomorrow you will train to harness your powers and will unleash your full potential to help us. *begins to walk away* Do not blindfold him. I shall see your sister now for a little test.
James: *glares at him and screamed through his gag and tried to struggle out of his restraints and was surrounded in darkness*
*with Mel and the others*
Lloyd: *shivers* I-I'm so c-cold...
Mel: *frowns slightly and pushed herself closer* I know pipsqueak, it'll be alright.
Lucas: Are you doing okay Mel?
Mel: I-I don't really know... I'm scared. Not only for James, but for Lloyd, and you, and everyone else.
Lucas: You've got a big heart Melody, and that's good. If you don't want to talk about it, you don't have to, but I'm curious about your's and James' past.
Mel: I don't mind telling you. As you know, our mother's business took off when we were about twelve. Before that, things were kinda rough... Our neighborhood wasn't the greatest, but with dad's small earnings we were happy to have it. Our school wasn't the best either, filled with bullies.
Lucas: Like this Jake James told us about?
Mel: *nods* Anyways, me and James were considered a little odd. We were always together and never wanted to be apart from each other and other kids thought that was weird. When I was younger, I was very shy and sensitive, not making friends very easily. I got teased for being so shy and a scaredy cat, that it got worse. One day when Jake saw me in the hallway, he decided to pick on me. He asked me why I had no friends and why I was a freak. I just kept walking, trying my hardest to ignore him and not cry. He got fed up with me not reacting and pushed me, hard. And you know the rest...
Lucas: Hmm... That's too bad. May I ask, what kept you strong through those hard years?
Mel: *looks him in the eye* Four things, my faith, James, my family, and music. That's what kept me going then, and I know I can always fall back onto it.
Dawn: That's sad to hear. So James always kept you safe and those bullies left you two alone.
Mel: They were scared of James for what he did to Jake. He didn't even get expelled because he convinced them it was self-defense. But when my mom's business took off, we were both glad to leave that awful school and start a new life in Iowa. We got a better school, life, and friends. They didn't even think we were weird because we were close. They accepted us for who we were. I still wanted James by my side when we had separate classes and he made this special charm bracelet for me in his sculpture class. *shows them her woven bracelet with a carved horse* He knows I like horses and I kept it to my heart as he's always with my heart. *starts to cry fresh tears* But not here. *sobs*
Nya: *rubs her back for comfort* It's alright. I'm sure he's safe and is thinking about you.
Everyone: *hears the door open, while Zane closed his panel to hide his research and all stood protect over Mel*
Mel: *moves Lloyd closer to Lucas and stood up to glare at the person who took her brother away* I want to see my brother. Now!
Strange: In time you will my dear Yin. But for now I want to put you to a little test.
Mel: Never. Let me see James!
Strange: Not until the test. *reaches into his jacket and pulled out a pistol and aimed it at the nearest ninja's leg, which was Jay, and fired at his leg*
Jay: *cries out in pain and fell to the floor*
Lucas: *held Lloyd closer and watched in horror to see his 'brother' in pain* Jay! *gets up, but the gun was pointed directly at him and the others*
Strange: Not you. This is for Yin.
Mel: *walks over to Jay and knelt down next to him* It's alright, Jay. I know what he wants me to do.
Jay: *quiet voice in pain* I hope so! This hurts really bad!
Mel: This is going to sting a little. *and presses her hands on his wound to stop the blood flow*
Jay: *gives an ear piercing scream and started to shake*
Mel: *thinking* Oh-no. The shock and adrenaline is kicking. I better do this quick. I need to think of healing or something to help. *closes her eyes and thought of healing. Felt her hands warm up and continued to concentrate and suddenly thought of James and saw a bright light. Opens her eyes to see her hands give off a soft glow and Jay was surrounded in a white light and felt his wound heal up and the bullet in her hands until Jay stopped glowing and her hands did too and removed them off of Jay's legs to see the hole was gone so was the blood and the small iron bullet was in her hands. And her hands weren't covered on blood too. Helps Jay to his feet and Jay didn't wince as he applied pressure to his leg and glared at Strange*
Strange: Impressive. Your powers are growing stronger by the minute. The test is over and I shall leave you alone. *heads back to the door*
Mel: What about my brother!? I want to see him!
Strange: You will eventually. But now is not the best. *and slams the door shut*
Mel: *lunges at the door and pounded hard to open and tears rush down her cheeks as she cried for she wanted her brother back*
Dawn: Come on dear. You should sleep. *leads her to the bed and laid her next to Lloyd and Lucas*
Mel: *wraps her arms around Lloyd and brought him closer to her*
Lucas: *feels the pity and wrapped his arms around her and Lloyd and brought them closer to make her feel safe*
*With James*
James: *stopped struggling and felt tears run down his cheeks* I can't move, speak or see. I know Mel is broken without me beside her as she hates being alone and I can't live without her. I remember the one song she sang in her choir group and I thought it represented us both. I can remember the lyrics and hoped she hears me *hums the music as best he can through his gag*

James: Such a lovely tone but too bad though that Mel and I are separated and my sister hates it when that happens.
Mel: well, I can handle it when one of us goes on trips or something and can't be together, but in this scenario... It's just different... *wraps her arms around her brother in a hug*
Dawn: aww, you guys are so close! It's adorable!
Mel: *pulls off her brother* how did you guys get into the authors note this time and last time?
Jay: We found this big red button that said 'A/N: Do not push unless you are James or Melody Johnson' so of course we pushed it.
Kai: more like you did lightning mouth. before we got a say in it!
Dawn: *sighs and shakes her head* sorry about this you two...
Lloyd: *runs in with a huge smile, a bag in his hands, and a lollipop in his mouth* I found a candy stash! Woohoo!
Lucas: Lloyd! You know you can't have that much sugar! *starts chasing his hyper cousin around*
Mel: *facepalms and sighs* what would we do without you guys...
Cole: live a normal, sane life?
James: True. But we like it better with you guys.
Zane: Don't you two always do something about the reviews?
James: Oh right thanks. Let's see here...
Jessi: Yea we finally updated so go celebrate and yes we know Smith is back but yea so much suspense and torture so I'll be watching out for you.
Kayla: Yea we can't get a break from the girls and suffered our punishment and yea they were able to find us and capture us and not me this time.
