James: Hey everyone, sorry for the late update. (Again) But with me with work and all, it's hard sometimes for us to get an update prepared. But now we got it prepared since we both got the day off due to extreme cold temperature weather today.
Mel: ya, it's super cold here. But I'm warm in my house. And we're really sorry about the lateness, but we warned you guys. So please forgive us, and enjoy the chapter! :)
Chapter 21: To Save the Missing Twin
*with Melody and the others*
Lloyd: Mel... *cough* I-I don't feel so good...
Mel: *sits up* What do you mean?
Lloyd: I think I'm gonna *cough* puke...
Mel: *eyes widen* Someone try to get some attention from outside, Lloyd, come with me buddy. *picks up Lloyd and walks him over to the table in the room and starts rubbing his back* Hang on buddy, you'll be alright.
Lucas: *starts banging on the door* Please! Can someone get something for my cousin! He's going to puke! *bangs harder*
Lloyd: Ohh...
Mel: Hey, shh... it's gonna be okay. *sees the door get thrown open, and a bucket and some medicine are tossed in*
Jay: *grabs the things*
Kai: *charges at the door only to have it slammed in his face*
Mel: Hurry! Get that over here.
Lucas: *runs over and holds the bucket to Lloyd* It's okay now, Shrimp.
Lloyd: Ohh... *leans over and pukes into the bucket, breaths, pukes again, starts crying, and pukes once more* Ow... M-mel...
Mel: *frowns sympathetically* Oh buddy, *takes medicine from Lucas* Here, take this... it'll help. *tips liquid into his mouth*
Lloyd: *swallows, and then starts trembling* W-why am *cough* I sick?
Mel: I don't know... come on, let's get to sleep. *carries Lloyd back to the bed, and Lucas crawls in next to them*
Lucas: It'll be okay, Shrimp. *strokes his hair*
Mel: Sleep tight Lloyd, everything will all turn out okay.
*The next day. With James*
James: *hears the door open and saw Smith walking towards him with two goons by his side*
Smith: Good morning, Mister Johnson. Ready for the day?
James: *growled through his gag and glared at him*
Smith: *huffs and turned to his goons* Remove his gag and bring him to training.
Goons: *nodded and walked towards James. One untied his gag and brought out the rag that was stuffed in his mouth while the other untied the restraints.*
James: *fell to the floor and jumped at Smith, but the goons grabbed his arms and dragged him out of his cell. Once he was out, he saw his chance to use his fire, but it couldn't appear on his palms* They must be wearing special gloves or something to prevent me from using my powers. *The goons continued dragging him away and dragged him towards the room where he woke up and save his sister, but was dragged away from her. He was at the center and the goons attached a metal bracelet to his wrist and released him and ran back and slammed the door shut*
Strange: Good morning, Yang. We have an interesting day of training for you. *calling to him from the office above the room*
James: I want to see my sister! Now!
Strange: In due times you will. But now you must fight.
James: I will never. *screams in pain as volts of electricity coursed his body and knelt to the floor*
Strange: I don't think that'll be a choice. Now begin.
James: *slowly stood up and was breathing heavily and saw the room illuminate to a bare room. The walls slowly opened up and revealed robot in armor and hummed to life and walked towards him and surrounded him* If I do this, will I see my sister?
Strange: Depends on your training. Androids, engage.
Androids: *hum to life on the order and charged at James*
James: *activated his powers and charged at the robots. He blocked the attack of one robot and sent a back kick to the one behind him and pushed his fire at the ones to his side and sent a powerful kick to the one in front of him. He charged at an android and felt his speed increase and jumped on top of one and popped its head off and threw the dismembered robot head to the one charging at him and sent more flames at another one* This is easy.
*Ten minutes later*
James: *destroyed every robot in his path except for one and charged at it. He was face to face with the robot and threw a punch to its head, but the robot caught it and twisted his wrist. He screamed in pain as he heard something pop out of place and felt anger increase and sent his free hand into its chest cavity and felt the fire increase inside. The robot began sparking and turn red-hot and began melting and laid on the floor in melt iron. He was breathing heavily and saw the parts scattered everywhere and fell to his knees. He looked at the shiny metal that cooled off and saw his reflection and saw he looked different from before. His eyes were changing and starting to become brighter and darker with a hue of red* What is happening to me?
Goons: *ran up to him and grabbed his arms*
Strange: Impressive. You're one step closer to unlocking your potential.
James: I want to see my sister! Now! *grunts in pain to his wrist as it's broken*
Strange: Alright. Take him to his sister and then bring him to his cell.
Goons: Sir. *and dragged James away*
*with Melody*
Mel: *sleeping, but restlessly suddenly wakes up to the sound of the door being thrown open* W-what? *sees the goons holding James between them* James! *jumps out over the waking Lucas and runs to her brother, crying tears of joy* James! Oh James... *hugs him tightly then sees his wrist, clearly broken* James! W-what happened?
James: *crying, happy to see his sister safe* They made me fight... and my wrist got twisted...
Mel: *gasps and places her hands gently on his injured wrist* Let me help... *concentrates and a white light surrounds her hands, healing her brother* I-I can't believe why they would do this to you... *stops and let's the reality of what happened sink in and a look of pure anger crossed her face*
James: *gasps slightly because he's never seen such hatred in her eyes* Mel, what's wrong?
Mel: T-they hurt you! *eyes start to glow as her hands become engulfed in pure white flames. Looks down and sees her hands and gasps, and the flames flicker out* W-what?
Goon: Back to your cell! *takes a struggling James and starts to drag him away*
Mel: No! Please, don't! *door slams in her face and she begins crying* W-what happened?
Dawn: I think I know. In the Yin and Yang, one side is black and the other white. You are the black, and James is the white. But in the Yin and Yang, there is a small amount of the opposite color in them. I think what happened was your pure hatred of seeing James hurt brought out that small part of your opposite.
Nya: That makes sense. So if for instance, Melody was badly hurt, James might have the ability to heal her?
Dawn: I do not know. We shall just have to wait and see.
*with James*
James: *struggles hard against the goons* Bring me back to my sister!
Smith: *walks up* I'm afraid we can't do that, Yang. You, regag and blindfold him and strap him back in. We don't want any escapes.
Goon: Sir! *carries James back into the cell*
James: *continues to struggle out of their grasp and was lead to his cell. Feeling anger for them taking his sister away, he planted his feet to the floor and broke free and drove both of his elbows to their noses and watched them fall the floor and ran out of his cell with his black flames appearing in his hands with an alarm blaring. He saw two goons running to him and James ran to them and slid on his knees and landed a blow to their knees and heard something break and continued running to his sister. Once he was near the door, he screamed in pain and fell to the floor as volt of electricity coursed his body and the flames flickered off*
Smith: I don't think so.
Goons: *four ran up to James and grabbed his limbs and carried him away*
James: Melody!
Mel: James!
James: *brought back to his cell and all goons slammed him to his restraints* Let me go!
Smith: I'm sorry. But can't allow that. *turns to the goons* Finish restraining him and move out.
Goons: Sir! *one finishes strapping his legs down and his arms while one blindfolded and gagged him and all left him alone*
James: They will pay for this. My sister was angry at them as well as I. They made me fight. Broke my wrist and took me from my sister again. They will pay. *began struggle and screamed in anger through his gag as he'll do everything to see his sister again* I suddenly feel weird. My limbs started shaking violently and heard something snap and could move my arms and I quickly removed my gag and blindfold and felt strength course my body and broke out of my restraints and fell to the floor and started spazzing out. I looked at the shiny floor and saw my eyes growing a brighter shade of red and was scared because I didn't know what was happening to me. I'm a fighting prodigy and can summon black flames and feel cold. I can feel darkness creep up on me and I couldn't escape it. It started to feel great. Powerful. And my mind began to shut off on those I care until I was consumed in darkness. What has happened to me?
*With Mel and the others*
Dawn: *gasped and fell to the floor*
Cole: Dawn! *ran to his sister and cradled her head* What's wrong!?
Dawn: *quiet voice* James.
Mel: What about him? What's happening with him?
Dawn: I can feel his presences and Zane can too with his sixth sense, but I can't feel him now.
Zane: I can't sense him either, Dawn.
Mel: What's going on?
Dawn: If he's the Yang and has the opposite color and unleashes his anger for you, he falls.
Mel: Falls to what?
Lucas: The dark side. I know what it's like. I was angry at my father and my anger lead me to the dark side to destroy you guys before.
Mel: What? We got to save him!
Dawn: We will. He hasn't fallen completely yet. He's still fighting against it. But if those people keep forcing him to fight to unleash his anger, then he's gone.
Kai: I say we bust out of here and save James. We still have some of our powers left and we can escape this place.
Lucas: With what, Kai? We don't have our weapons and if we did escape somehow, they'll get hunting down James and Melody. Zane, have you got into their systems yet?
Zane: Unfortunately no. This technology is more advance so it may take a while.
Cole: Keep trying. We have escape somehow and end this.
*With James*
James: *slowly opens eyes and saw he was restrained again and wasn't blindfold, but gagged*
Strange: Very interesting. Your anger is consuming you to fight for your sister and we're seeing interesting changes.
James: *looks at a shiny metal wall and grew pale to see his eyes were different* What has happened to me? I need Dawn to help me answer this.
Strange: It still appears that you're resisting the change and if you do that then you won't unlock your Inner Yin.
James: Fine by me. You can't control me or my sister. Just need to fight this darkness.
Strange: *heads for the door* Tomorrow we'll see some more training and have you follow us by then. *and slams the door shut*
James: Never in my life.
*with Mel and others*
Mel: I-I think I have an idea. One that could get us out of here.
Lucas: What would that be?
Mel: I don't know if it'll work even... Do you guys still have any control over your elements?
Kai: Yes, but not much. They're weaker than in Ninjago.
Cole: Back home, we still had better control than here.
Mel: *nods* Makes sense... But we will find a way. We have to if we want to save my twin.
Lucas: I know what we can do. Since I still have some control with my powers, like from the lake house, I can disguise myself as one of those goons and search for your brother.
Mel: It sounds like a plan, but what they find out it's you. It's risky. What will they do if they capture you?
Lucas: I don't know, but it's a risk I'll take. Cole, Kai, lure one of the guards in here and take him down. Don't run off yet, I need to search the area and find James.
Cole & Kai: *nodded and headed towards the door*
Cole: Hey! We need a medic here! Our friend is feeling worse and needs some medical treatment!
All: *watch as door opens and a guard walks and heads towards Lloyd*
Cole & Kai: *snuck up on him and Kai tackled him down and Cole landed a punch to knock him out*
Lucas: Perfect. *gets out of the bed* Now hide him somewhere where they won't find him and I'll head outside.
Everyone: *nodded and waited for Lucas to use his mist powers*
Lucas: *held his palms in front of him and mist surrounded him and took the form of a guard and headed towards the door*
Dawn: Lucas wait. *and Lucas stopped before he reached the door* Be safe out there will you.
Lucas: *moves the mist off of his face to see Dawn and stutter for a moment before Dawn pressed her lips against his and lost his train of thought*
Everyone: *the guys' eyes grew wide on the kiss while the girls were smiling to it*
Dawn: *stopped kissing Lucas and looked into his eyes* Good luck, Stormy.
Lucas: *nodded and the mist covered his face and slammed the door shut And began his search for James*
James: And the search for me begins. Oh what could happen now? Oh and Lloyd, I hope you learned your lesson about messing around with my candy stash you found. *looks at the boy feeling sick*
Lloyd: Ooh. Not again.
Mel: go over to Dawn and get some stomach medicen Lloyd.
Lloyd: *nods and suddenly his eyes go wide and puts a hand over his mouth running for the bathroom*
Lucas: I warned my cousin but he didn't listen.
Jay: Poor kid, but then he lead himself to that.
Cole: Yea. But he'll better once he sees Dawn.
Mel: speaking of Dawn... Wait to kiss that girl Lucas!
Lucas: *blushes* I-I..
Guys: *laugh at him*
Lucas: oh shut up. *blushes harder when he turns to see Dawn next to him, waiting for Lloyd*
Dawn: what's wrong here?
Cole: n-nothing *laugh* sis, we're good..
Dawn: okay then.. *walks away as Lloyd comes out of the bathroom*
Lucas: Don't forget how stupid you act around Nya, Jay.
Jay: I do not.
Nya: *walks in to stand next to Jay* Hey Jay.
Jay: *blushes* Uh... H-Hey N-Nya.
Nya: Everything alright?
Jay: N-Nope. Everything is peachy. *sees her walk away and looked at Lucas smirking* Shut up.
James: Anyway... Where were we Mel?

Mel: ya, why?
Lucas: it's just weird.
Jay: no it's not. Me and Nya have a name, right?
James: ya, Jya is what it's often called.
Nya: aw... That's sweet.
James: aren't we forgetting something else?
Mel: oh ya, the review responcses! Let's answer everything other one Jimmy.
