Mel: here it is... The final chapter on this crazy journey...
James: I know. I can't believe it. The final chapter. Our first story as twins to finish together. I...don't have much to say but enjoy the final chapter. :)
*with everyone else*
Dawn: No! She's gone! We have to get her!
Lloyd: W-what's going to happen?
Lucas: I don't know Lloyd, but it'll all be alright.
Cole: Let's break out of here.
Jay: Ya! Let's go!
Cole: Three... two... one!
Everyone but Lloyd and Nya: *release all the power they can muster on the door. The door shatters*
Nya: *picks up Lloyd so it'll be faster* Let's go! We've got some friends to save!
Kai: I've got an axe to grind with these guys! I'm itching for a fight!
Lucas: Follow me! I remember where the training room is! *runs off down the hall with the others following him*
Everyone: *follows Lucas down the hall as the alarm of their escape blared high and Lloyd covered his ears to the noise while piggybacking on Nya*
Lucas: *saw some goons blocking the training room door and sprinted faster* Now or never. *yelling* Ninja-Go! *and spun to finally create his grey tornado and knocked the goons unconscious*
Cole: Look at that! We can do Spinjitzu!
Everyone but Lloyd and Nya: *sprinted faster, shouting* Ninja-Go! *and created their tornadoes of their elements and render everyone unconscious *
Lucas: *stood in front of the metal door and pulled it open and ran in with everyone behind him*
Everyone: *gasped to see a black dragon looming over Melody and saw it was about to eat her. Also saw a knife in her stomach and a pool of blood around her*
Dawn: We're too late! James is consumed and unleashed it!
Jay: What can we do now!?
Zane: *sees Mel's chest rising slowly and saw she was breathing still* She's still alive! We have to save her before James kills her!
Lucas: I may have an idea, but I need everyone to help. I need you to distract James while I heal Mel.
Dawn: But what if it doesn't work!?
Lucas: *saw the worry in her eyes and stood in front of her* I'll do everything I can. *and pressed his lips to hers and both were lost to the kiss and stopped* I love you.
Dawn: I love you too. Now go!
Lucas: *nods and ran towards Melody*
Rage: *saw the grey ninja running towards him and lunged himself towards him*
Cole: *slams his fist to the ground and a mountain of earth climbed up from the ground and hits Rage in the jaw*
Lucas: *quickly dodged as the dragon was falling down and ducked under his scaly arm and sprinted as fast as he could*
Rage: *quickly recovered and turned to Lucas*
Jay: Hey over here! *and sent a lightning bolt at the dragon*
Rage: *roared and breathed in deeply and blew black fire from its mouth towards Jay*
Jay: *petrified to move, closed his eyes and hoped for the best. Suddenly Zane stood in front of him and blocked it with his ice powers and both escaped the fire*
Lucas: *finally reached Melody and flipped her over to see the knife* It's going to be alright, Mel. *grips the knife and pulled it free and quickly applied pressure to the wound. Concentrates on healing and saw his hand glow blue and the light died. He was scared as Mel wasn't moving and hoped he wasn't too late*
Mel: *eyes flutter open and gasped to quickly sat up*
Lucas: Mel, you're alright!
Mel: Where's James!?
Lucas: *points at the dragon and nodded his head*
Mel: No! James!
Rage: *turned around and saw Yin awake* No! You're suppose to be dead!
Mel: Give me back my brother!
Rage: *laughs* Never. He's gone. I shall destroy everyone here and then the world! How does that sound, Melly?
Mel: *growls at him in anger and saw her hands burn brightly white* My brother is gone. He's still in there and he can fight it. My Viv Twin can fight this and save himself. But no-one but him calls me Melly! *yelling* No-one but him calls me that! *screams in anger and was surrounded in a white light. She felt her body shaking and tremble and saw white scales forming on her skin. She felt something on her back growing and felt her shirt rip open and saw white wings. Bones were popping to expand as her true power was unleashed and get face began changing. The white light stopped to reveal a beautiful white dragon similar to the black dragon of evil. She opened her eyes to reveal the hazel eyes that later changed to blue* My name is Melody! And you will not take over my brother!
Dawn: Wow... she's unlocked her Inner Yang!
Cole: What does that mean sis?!
Dawn: I don't know...
Lloyd: *wide-eyed, slightly scared* Will Melody be okay?
Lucas: She'll be fine... at least I think...
Kai: Everyone back off! This isn't gonna end well...
Everyone: *backs off*
*In James' Mind*
James: I-i can't control myself... I-i'm gonna hurt Melody! I have to fight... but I'm so tired... NO! *sees Melody transform* W-what? Melody! I-i must not... let him fight her... so... tired... a little sleep... no! but... I can't fight it... no! Melody... no...
*With the two dragons*
Rage: No! I can't let this happen!
Mel: My brother would never let this happen to him. He's strong and will never give up.
Rage: Your brother was weak. He let his emotions consume him and freed me. He really cares for his sister and would never let anything happen to you, but look where this lead to. This is where you'll die. Darkness shall consume this world.
Mel: And the only way to stop it is to kill you.
Rage: Do that and he dies too.
Mel: No.
Rage: Yes. Now all I have to say is goodbye. *breathes in deeply and blew his black fire at Melody*
Mel: *breathes in deeply and blew her white fire to protect herself*
*both flames collided and pushed against one another as one fought for her brother while the other wanted the world*
Rage: *flapped his wings and took flight*
Mel: *flapped her wings and chased after him. She blew her fire at him and watched as Rage dodged it* Give me back my brother!
Rage: Never! *quickly turned his body around and flew straight at Melody*
Mel: *too late to respond took a blow to her chest and started to fall, but quickly recovered and flew back up. She watched as Rage was coming back for a second dose and dodged his claws and swung her tail at him and made contact to one of his wings*
*In James' mind*
James: Stay strong, Mel. *watches himself fight his sister and didn't want to*
Rage: You'll never see her again. Once I kill her, I'll kill you too.
James: But you said that if she kills you, she'll kill us both.
Rage: I lied so you can release me. Now she won't be able to hear you and there's nothing you can do about it.
James: This is my mind and body. I can still fight you! *feels energy in him and felt himself flying* I have control.
Rage: You will never win.
*With the dragons*
James: I have control.
Rage: You will never win.
Mel: *looks at the dragon confused. She heard James' voice then changed to the demon's voice* He's fighting, but is struggling. Maybe if I can distract him, I can strike him to make him weak. James, if you can hear me, fight him and we'll win this!
James: You will not hurt my sister!
Rage: Stay out of this. *and swung his tail at Melody and made contact to her face*
James: No! *felt himself gain control and flew himself to a wall*
Rage: Stop it! *gained the control back and breathed his fire at Melody*
James: You will not do this! I won't allow it! *struggled to gain control and control the fire away and hit the ceiling and let the debris fall on top of him*
Everyone: *dodges as the debris from the ceiling fell on the floor and watched the dragons fight*
Mel: Come on, Jimmy. Keep this up and we'll end this together. *lunges at the dragon and sliced across his stomach and swung her tail at his face*
James: I see what she's doing. She's weakening him and waiting for the strike to kill him. Just have to fight back against him to keep it up. *keeps fighting inside his mind and felt himself losing*
Rage: Quit resisting. *and sliced his claws at her face and wings*
James: Melody! *gains the control and grabbed his wings and broke them*
Rage and James: *felt themselves falling and impacted into the ground*
Melody: James! *flew down and landed next to her brother*
Rage: *recovers and pinned her to the ground* Goodbye, Melly. *opens his mouth with the black flames swelling inside his throat to deliver the final kill*
James: No-one but me can call her that! *gains the control and removed himself off of his sister, yelling* Now Melody!
Mel: *quickly recovers and pins her brother down with a clawed hand on his neck and one on his chest*
Rage: You would do everything to protect those you love.
Mel: Not just everyone. For my brother.
James: *hears that and nodded with a tear running down* Save me please.
Mel: *starts to cry* I love you. *opens her mouth to have the final fire swell up and pointed it at his body*
Rage: NO! *struggles to free himself felt some of his true power in his throat*
Mel: *fires the final kill and everything was black*
*later, at an unknown time and place*
Mel: *eyes flutter open and looks around to see herself in a bed, in a small room. She called out weakly* W-where am I? Where's James!?
*door swings open to reveal Dawn standing there with a tray*
Dawn: Melody! You're awake! We were all scared for you...
Mel: *tries to sit up* But... What happened? Is James okay!?
Dawn: *walks over there and gently pushes her back down* Don't worry. James will be alright. He's still unconscious. The best thing you can do right now is to recover by resting in bed.
Mel: *sighs in relief* So, why aren't we at the house or the lake house?
Dawn: Um...
Mel: *sees the look in her eyes* Dawn, are we anywhere near our home?
Dawn: No. *shakes her head* Welcome to Ninjago.
James: What!?
Mel: we're in Ninjago!? Awesome!
Lloyd: Yay! We're home!
Lucas: I can't believe it.
Dawn: I'm just glad to be back... With you.. *kisses Lucas*
Lloyd: cooties! *screams and runs away*
Mel: *laughs* at least you two expressed your feelings for each other.
Lucas: Now I have to deal with her protective brother. Now I know how Jay feels.
Jay: Hey!
Cole: you're right you do... One wrong move and you may just discover it's your last...
Dawn: calm down now Cole.
Mel: yep. So to our readers, you probably now know that this is the final chapter of this book. We did leave you with a massive cliff hanger though, so you know what that means!
Lloyd: Uh... what?
Mel: a new story will be following! Yay! :D
Lloyd: Oh... Yay! I get to spend more time with you guys!
James: yep. Looks like we'll be around for a while longer. :)
