I hope that everyone had a fantastic holiday! One of the things that I got was a copy of animal crossing new leaf. If I have a dream address by next week, I'll share it... if you guys want me to. However, between this set of uploads and the next, new years will happen. So, I'd also like to wish everyone a happy new year in advance. I honestly have nothing else to say that isn't a response to a guest review, so here it is. To The Drone: I see you like the idea of the upgrades! :D As far as the stuff from ALBW goes, I'm not sure. To be perfectly honest, the next dungeon item did appear in ALBW, but it has also appeared in other zelda games beforehand, so yeah... Truthfully, I'm not sure whether I'll actually do it or not quite yet, but we'll see. Finally, I haven't actually seen the Hyrule Warriors trailer. Honestly, to me, it's not an official Zelda game and my life is already busy enough as it is. I know, that sounds REALLY bad when it's coming from someone like me, who's played every single (good... yeah, I haven't played the CDi games) zelda game up to this point, but oh well. I hope you understand. ;)
Now, to Kagu the Great: It's alright. writing really helps to curb the bad spelling (that is if you learn from when spell check catches you). However, I do agree that names can be especially tricky because spell check can eff you up. Also, while it's true that we don't know the lifespan of the twili, it has been long enough. After all, I still want this story to have it's own identity. The only true reoccurring characters (meaning reincarnations don't count) will not divulge enough information to the links for them to be able know a whole lot about the past. It's like how the king of red lions from wind waker clearly knows a lot about the hero of time, but because the hero of winds didn't necessarily need to know those things, he kept his mouth shut. I kind of feel like Midna might just say something that she shouldn't, if she gets involved, so yeah. Thanks for understanding! :D
Anyway, let's get on to the chapters... okay, I'm a horrible person. All that you get in between the holidays and new years is filler. I'm sorry. :( Don't worry, though, I working kon something later in the story that will make up for it, I promise! (I hope)
Chapter 49: Fans
After retelling the story of what happened since the last time that I was there, the other hylians seemed pretty satisfied. Those that were jealous of me were quickly ebbed off once I got around to the huge fights. Therefore, all that was left were our admirers. Both future Link and knight Link got really inflated egos because of it. True, it felt really good to be loved like this, but we couldn't let it get to our heads.
We came to this dimension expecting the worst and we got the best. I knew that that happened sometimes, but this was at the point of ridiculousness. However, night came quickly and I lead the other two links away to the room that we had stayed in last time. Having spent a few months there beforehand had obviously helped me to remember the layout. After all, the other two didn't remember it!
As soon as the three of us were alone, future Link burst into laughter. Knight Link asked him why, but all that future Link could get out in between his bursts of it was that he had never expected to have fans. To be honest, I was agreeing with him fully, but I didn't say anything. He probably knew that I was in agreement, but if he did, then he didn't mention it. Instead, he just kept on laughing.
When he finally stopped laughing, there was a bit of an awkward silence. Thankfully, though, knight Link decided to break this silence by stating that we should rest for the night. I hadn't realized that it had gotten dark before, but it had. I then asked him what we would do in the morning and he simply stated that we would spar. Figuring that that would be alright, we prepared for bed, finding even more leftover sand in our clothes. Sighing, we decided to ignore it.
After all, what was the point of focusing on nothing but sand?
