*sigh* I'm finally finished my first semester diploma exams! Now, once these chapters are posted, I shall start my semi-annual anime binge watch!... Okay, so I already started yesterday, but that's irrelevant! Thank you for all of the kind wishes that gave me the confidence that I needed for the last week! :D Now, I'm just going to say that when I wrote that line of dark Link's, (the one near the end of the battle where he said that his master would be the demise of the other Links) I honestly wasn't thinking about Demise. I just thought that it sounded cool. :/ Coincidence? Anyway, that doesn't mean that you can't guess that dark Link's master might be Demise. Heck, every single person who reviewed actually guessed that, so I'm not going to say anything! (tee hee) Having said that, I'm not going to be putting anything about dark Link's master into my personal responses to the reviews. Speaking of responses, I think it's time for me to respond right now! ;) First, to The Drone: I'm really glad that you liked the fight. The only thing that took K. Link so long to shoot the light arrow was the fact that it simply didn't come to his mind until then... okay, I know that that's a pretty crappy excuse, but I wanted that moment to happen at a certain moment, and that just seemed right. Also, about Gohma, I was thinking about making her one of the early bosses, but the only place that fit her at the time was the first boss after Magawyrm, and I didn't want to have two giant bugs in a row. However, one of the dungeons that I had planned for the future might see her appearance... maybe. Either way, I love that you liked that battle, and I hope you enjoy the after battle chapters ;)

To Kagu the Great: Thank you for the praise. Of course dark Link is mean, though. He wouldn't be himself without being so mean. As far as how S. Link is taking it, though, well... you'll have to read these three chapters in order to find out. :/

To Ziros the Knight: I'm glad that you're liking the story! :D Thanks for all the praise and I hope that you'll enjoy the rest of the story! ;)

To the Guest who didn't put a name in: Thank you! You have no idea how hard I blushed when I read your review! ;D However, I'm thinking that the fact that you said 'our tests' makes me think that you had diplomas (or at least finals) at the same time that I did. Hmmmm... Well, either way, thanks again!

To Ocarinaoffarore: Thank you! I really appreciate that you took the time to review. As far as an answer to your question goes, though, please refer to what's above. ;) Thanks again.

Now, without further ado, I present chapters 61-63!

Chapter 61: Contemplation

My mind was reeling. Was I really the weakest of the three of us? I felt like I needed to ask the others, but at the same time, I just couldn't. They were helping me to keep upright as the three of us made our way out of the dungeon, so maybe I was. When dark Link had grabbed me the second time, he had told me that I should have just stayed a slave! Honestly, I didn't even really know what to think about that.

Sure, I helped the others, but with what dark Link had said last, I began to wonder just how big of a piece I really was. Given the way that I was raised, I had no problem with believing that I was just a small part, almost worthless. However, I had always felt that I was contributing, no matter what. Yet, dark Link had made it seem like I was just in the way.

Before I could voice any of this, though, we finally made it out of the dungeon. I was sometime in the middle of the night. I didn't bother to actually scan the stars and whatnot (like knight Link had taught both future Link and me how to do) in order to figure out what time it was. I didn't care. The others took a quick glance, but then we headed straight back to where Zelda and the others were.

When we got there, we found a note that had directions on it. Evidently, they didn't want to set up camp in the middle of a graveyard. So, we followed those directions over to where we eventually saw a flame. It was a simple campfire that was surrounded by the peacefully sleeping bodies of all of the hylians that had come with us, and the sitting form of Zelda, herself.

She made to begin waking the others, but knight Link motioned for her to stop. Future Link then motioned for Zelda to follow us to a place where we would not wake the others. So, she got up and followed us to the inside of the caravan, which was not actually holding anybody in it. The others then proceeded to tell her about the dungeon, itself and what it lead to.

All throughout it, I was rather zoned out as I thought more about what dark Link had said. As far as items went, it wasn't like I was the only one who could figure out how to operate the hookshot and the beetle. All that I ever did outside of the dungeons was just shut up and do what I was told to do by either the other Links or the Zeldas. Outside of the dungeons, it was just like I was still a slave, but my master was split among the other two links and the three zeldas.

Inside the dungeons, I still just did as I was told. However, I was almost certain that I was at least useful in some way. Or was I? What if dark Link was right about me being the weakest? The most worthless?...

"Hello? Earth to slave Link!" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked around to see Zelda waving her hand in front of my face, while the other two links stared at me. I then stuttered a bit, wondering what they had just been talking about.

"I said 'what did he say to you?'… You know; dark Link!"

Oh…

I sat there for a while before I decided to put on a fake smile and tell them not to worry about it. After all, they didn't need to be concerned with someone as worthless as myself. I didn't voice the last part, but I could tell that Zelda wouldn't give up. She then stood up straighter and outright ordered me to tell her what dark Link had said. It took every ounce of self-control that I had in my entire body to be able to tell not only her, but also the other Links to never mind it. It left a bad taste in my mouth, but I knew that I had to stick with what I said.

"… *sigh* fine… so, then, what happened next?" Zelda responded with and I told her that I had blacked out. It was then that the other Links took over again and continued telling her what had happened. When she asked me what dark Link had said the second time, I told her that it meant nothing, to which she attempted to stare me down and get it out of me, but I blocked her out at that point.

Finally, they finished recalling what had happened and Zelda told us that she would have to look into seeing whether William had actually gone missing or not. She also had to contact the other Zeldas in order to see whether Ethan and Shaun had gone missing or not. She surmised that if none of them were actually missing, then that meant that the ones that dark Link had shown off were just tricks that were meant to get us off our guards. If they had gone missing recently, then that meant that the ones we saw were the real deals!

However, we couldn't get our answers until the next day, and all three of us were very tired. Yet, we still needed someone to take watch over the camp. I volunteered (even though someone else could have done it) just because I knew that I wouldn't actually be able to sleep with this stuff on my mind. So, I watched as everyone around me slept. The other hylians with their dreams of freedom, the other Links with whatever they normally dreamt at night (they were just so… different, that I didn't even know), and Zelda's chat with the other Zeldas.

I wasn't alone at all, this I knew. However, I had to think about just how useful I really was. All of my life prior to this, I had been treated like an item. Bought, sold, traded, and more. Yet, I was a part of this trio. I knew that it was something special because the three Zeldas and we three Links were the only ones who actually seemed to have counterparts between the dimensions.

I knew that we were special, but I spent the rest of the night wondering exactly how special and/or useful I, specifically, was…
