Note: Long time no update. I had tried to type it soon, but the exams stopped my trace to update it, and the idea came too late. Sorry. And sorry for this crappy chapter. Anyway, happy belated birthday our hero, Ayano! XD

"Arigatou, Haruka-san, for helped me to do my homework!" Ayano Tateyama said with a satisfied face. A wide smile appeared on her face. A while ago, she was studying and doing homework with Haruka's help since Shintaro has given up to help her understand the lesson (but mostly it was because he was lazy to teach her).
"It's okay, Ayano-san. You can come here again if you need help," Haruka said with a wide smile too. That guy was really smart and kind. Unfortunately, he had an illness who sometimes could make him fall to unconscious and made him was placed in special class. But he was lucky, he wasn't alone. There was a twin-tailed girl who had an illness (but not same as him) too who accompanied him in the special class.
"Hey, Ayano-chan, you should force this guy to help you. He is smart, right?" said Takane—that twin-tailed girl—while pointing at the guy who sat beside her. Her dead-fish eyes gave the other dead-fish eyes guy a pierced stare.
"Huh? Me?" that guy in question stared at the girl who was pointing at him. "You know, she is too slow to understand, and I don't know the method to teach her again," he added with such an arrogant face.
"You are so meanie, Shintaro," Ayano replied with a slight hurt expression. "But it is true, anyway, ehehe," she scratched her cheek. A shame smile rose on her face. Yeah, she was slow to understand the lesson. So she never get any good grades, and the guy who was her classmate just had the answer, and just like he said before, he couldn't teach her properly.
"Well, well, it's fine," Haruka said then. "It's okay, Ayano-san. Just like I said before, you could come here if you need any help," he said again. "Uhm, by the way, we should go home now,"
"Ah, yeah. Sensei said if we have finished, we should go home. By the way, my assignment has finished too. Aaah, that was too damn difficult!" Takane shouted frustratingly. She was really bad at academic, but it didn't mean she was good at sports because her illness never allowed her to do that sport things. She was only excellent at playing games. Although she was only good at one point, but her classmate—Haruka—admired her intensity at playing games online. And she was embarrassed about that.
"You are just stupid at all," Shintaro said with arrogant expression while glancing his sight away. "The questions are easy enough for the second grade student," he said—or mocked, exactly—her. Everyone on that class knew that he was really smart (because his IQ was 168), and he got the highest rank at National Test. He was excellent at playing games as well (he defeated Takane on shooting game about a year ago).
"WHAT—but, that's true, anyway.. b-but don't you dare to say I am stupid, you little kid!" the twin-tailed hair girl shouted angrily.
"Who did you say 'little kid', you moron!" Shintaro replied angrily.
"Um.. well, I suppose, both of you just stop the fight," Haruka smiled and tried to stop them. He didn't know how many times he mediated both of them, though sometime he couldn't stop them anyway.
"But he pissed me off! I don't know why Ayano-chan could stand with you!" Takane shouted as she glanced at the only one scarf girl on that classroom who be quiet for a while ago. Two guys other then looked at the girl in question (and then Shintaro looked away after their eyes met).
"Hehe...," Ayano smiled awkwardly and scratched her cheek just like before. "I ... I don't know why too, hehe," her smile broke into an awkward wide grin. And then three of them just couldn't help but speechless.
"Well, well, we should go home now," Haruka said then. And after that the fight between the Lightning-Dancer Ene with the genius boy started again, while two others couldn't help but smiling.
When they were walking to the locker, together with the fight between Takane and Shintaro while Haruka was trying to mediate them again, Ayano—who walked in the back of them—smiled. Her eyes stared at them with a soft sight. Three persons before her were really precious and meant for her. Haruka, Takane, and of course, Shintaro. They were precious as same as her step siblings that weren't known where now. Precious as same as her family.
She laughed a bit. How lovely today was. She wish it could be last forever, although she knew, it wouldn't be happen. This world was really cruel, and she wasn't able do anything. The past and the truth tried to take her happiness away. And then, everything would dye into black.
So, while waiting, she enjoyed the lovely time with this group, especially with the guy who was debating with the other girl in the group. That guy always alone and seemed never talk to his other classmate before met her. He never talk too much with any other people around him, just like her when they were first met.
But she had another reason for it.
And because of her helping—or maybe pushing—he could communicate with other people except her, just like Haruka and Takane. She was happy, and laughed a bit again.
"Hey, what did the thing you laugh at?" suddenly the guy who filled her brain just now asked her—cut her laughing. Maybe, he has given up with Takane. That girl unexpectedly was more egoist than him.
Blinked her eyes, "No. I just ... thought about this group!" a wide smile broke on her face. Yeah, she didn't lie.
"This group, huh?" he replied with an annoyed face. It seemed he didn't get it. "I'm not really get into this group. What did you think about that?" he asked again. His expression didn't change, but his voice tone implied his curiousness.
"I just thought if this moment could be last forever," she replied without any lies. So honest and simple, but somehow it felt sad. It seemed make a hint that that moment couldn't be last forever. Somehow, she felt pain on her chest.
"What is it? I don't get it," Shintaro replied. He didn't feel the feeling on that sentence.
"But, by the way, Shintaro has gotten into this group," Ayano said it and made the guy surprised. "As the proof, you were getting along with Takane-san and Haruka-san," she added again. "You never talk too much with other people except us, right?"
"Ah, stop it. It's because you dragged me in," he replied with a shame face. Sometime, Ayano loved that expression. "It was your fault,"
"Ehehe I'm sorry. But I love this group, and I love to see Shintaro's face when Shintaro communicated with other people," and when she said it so clearly, her classmate's face was turning to red.
"S-Shintaro ... what's wrong? Why was your face so red?" she asked pointlessly.
"N-No! It's 'cause... it's 'cause the sunset's ray!" Shintaro replied and looked away. Ayano became silent after heard that answer. She then looked up at the sky. The sky was so clear today. How lovely.
"I wish it could be last forever."
