Rather than his usual quiet demeanor, amused but wisely keeping his thoughts to himself, there was instead an ominous hush over him that none of them could explain. Only Braig, the body language expert of the apprentices could guess that it had to do with the youngest of them, oblivious to the longing gaze fixed upon him.
