Solace
The ocean was something that Percy could find solace in. It mimicked human emotions, calm and serenity to angry and vengeful. Emotions that Percy could relate to. Especially now. He knew that his mother had been sick for some time now but he never imagined that she would... It killed him to know that he wasn't there for her. He didn't know that know he would never see her again. But today the ocean could provide no solace for his turbulent emotions. Nico simply wrapped his arms around the man. He already knew there was nothing to do but be there for him. As the tears began to stream down his face, Nico tried to comfort the one dearest to him as best he could.
