Chap 11: the Ambitious one
Sweating bodies were all around him. Grimmjow couldn't believe that he was again in such a delightful situation. Gin was lying on the huge bed's silken sheets, moaning and groaning as the bluenette pounded relentlessly into him, legs encircled around those slim and fit hips of the fiery blue-haired man. All the while Gin was sucking on Sousuke's cock, licking and stroking the hard length. The brunette was kneeling next to Gin, grabbing a fistful of silver-hair to hold him in place as he watched the silver-head sucking him off with an enjoyment no one could put into words.
While both Gin and Sousuke moaned in satisfaction Grimmjow watched them, aroused by the sounds and the view that was presented to him. His senses got overwhelmed by everything, it wasn't even their first round… the room smelled of sex and lust, all three men desperate to get more and more. Suddenly the silver-haired man bucked his hips, the message was clear for Grimmjow; he was supposed to take of the cock ring, but the bluenette wasn't very eager to do that.
Gin was a sight to behold as he laid there, one cock in the ass, the other in his mouth and around his own a cock ring, the usually closed eyes slightly opened, icy blue shining back and looking from one man to the other. Suddenly Sousuke let loose of the silver in his hand and came over to Grimmjow, nibbling and licking at his throat and chest, stroking the tribal panther at the blue-head's hip bone, eliciting sweet moans from the stripper.
Knowing of the bluenette's fondness of roughness Sousuke wasted no time in ramming himself in Grimmjow, lube the only 'preparation'. At first Grimmjow hissed, but then began to moan and groan in excitement, the sensations were beginning to be too much, having his cock in that sweet ass of Gin and Sousuke's ramrod one in his own ass was so heavenly. One thrust from the brunette had him seeing stars and he fell onto Gin, with his hands on either side of the silver-haired man's head he was able to support his own weight just in time before he would have collapsed onto the slim man beneath him.
Not waiting for Grimmjow to adjust to his size Sousuke started moving in and out of the perfectly sculpted ass presented to him, his own moves causing Grimmjow to move in sync and Gin was at the receiving end of their little game. Clearly enjoying it too as Sousuke made an exceptionally powerful thrust which had the blue-haired man ramming directly into Gin's prostate.
While they fucked each other Grimmjow was in pure bliss and wished that this would never end.
In the other part of Karakura Renji just lay down on his bed and couldn't really fall asleep. Thoughts of Byakuya wouldn't leave his mind. As much as Renji admitted to himself that he was falling hard for the man other thoughts of doubt and fear weren't leaving him either.
'Well… Let's say we really are going to be together, then what? I hope he won't be like Daichi, I don't know if I can take that another time, they come from the same social class after all, but he is not Daichi… Perfect Renji… you fall for a guy you 1. know nothing about 2. you don't even know if he is gay and 3. even if he is gay you don't know if you are his type but then again he did say that the gender is not important to him… oh yeah and don't forget about the class thing… I just hope he is not so superficial and that he looks at who the person is inside… If I had at least some kind of education! Gosh that guy is probably studying some fancy shit, like law and I? Fuck I didn't even graduate…'
Plagued by all those thoughts it wasn't really surprising that the red-head couldn't sleep.
"I need a tea," getting up he searched for something he could wear, just in case Grimmjow decided to take his 'date' home. On his way to the kitchen he could see that Ichigo was still up, sitting in their living room and watching some TV.
"Hey you still up?" Renji asked, sitting on his couch, tea cup in hand.
"Hm. Could ask you the same, right?" the orangenette asked, looking at his brother with a tired smile.
Renji had to smile at the comeback, "Yeah you could, but I'd tell you anyway," the smile on Ichigo's face was not missed by Renji when he said that. "I couldn't sleep… You know, I wish it would be lunch already."
"So bad? Man I hope mum can help you out… Oh and don't worry I'll keep Karin and Yuzu busy, goat-face probably too, we'll see what act he will put on tomorrow."
"Thanks Ichi, but I need to talk with him too, in fact I need both of them. So… please let him off the hook this time, okay?" Looking into the pleading red-brown orbs Ichigo knew that he couldn't help but comply to the wish, he nodded his assent and Renji saluted with his tea cup then took a sip from it.
"So you and the girl, huh?" the question surprised Ichigo.
"His sister dumbass, Rukia… I know that you like her. What will you do?" looking from Ichigo to the TV Renji realized what program his brother was watching. It was some gross 'reality' show where the story was as good as shit and the actors even worse, if that was possible; the typical night program…
"What I am going to do? I don't know… I don't even really know her and did you get her expressions? She was pissed, totally pissed. So what do you think I am going to do?"
"First my little dumbass brother, she was pissed at me, probably because of Byakuya. Second her eyes never left you and as for what to do? Well what about a date? Get to know her, you'll do just fine," he reassured the orange-head and was relieved to see the sad smile turning into a full hearted grin.
"Yeah you're right, but can you tell me how to contact her, huh? I don't have her number… or any kind of contact information…"
"Well good thing you have your brother, ne? I have Byakuya's number, maybe I can arrange something," the in surprise widened chocolate eyes were reward enough for Renji. If he wouldn't get Byakuya than at least Ichigo would get Rukia, hopefully that would last.
"Come Ichi, we need to go to sleep, it's late and we are supposed to meet mum and dad at lunch."
Byakuya too was unable to fall asleep, reason being a red head named Renji.
'Those two have no real education, with the missing documents that is not a surprise. I wish I could help them, but where to begin? I do not know which orphanage they were in so I don't know who could have their documents, maybe father can help me with this. Although he is a business lawyer he is very competent in other fields too, I am just not sure how to approach such a subject.'
In the safety of his room he let a dissatisfied groan escape him, the fact that Urahara and Yoruichi were STILL in the house annoyed him even more, hopefully they would go tomorrow; he needed to catch Soujun alone. He needed to sleep on this, maybe tomorrow a fortunate situation would arise.
Byakuya snuggled into his pillows and as his mind began to wander into the land of dreams, no one would know of his desires embodied in them.
The next morning had both Renji and Ichigo up early in the morning, a miracle considering that the red-head could sleep like the dead and overhear his alarm clock, but his nervousness had him in a light sleep, easy to wake. Both met in the kitchen, like the previous day. Ichigo was already drinking a cup of coffee, he even prepared the water for the red-head's tea, Grimmjow was nowhere in the apartment.
"We still have time; you want to take a walk in the town?" Ichigo asked when both were done with their drinks.
"Are you nuts? It is fucking cold out there… I want to wait or we can go earlier, I don't care, but I sure as hell don't want to go out there." Grabbing an apple and taking a second one with him Renji went to the living room and lay down on his couch, snuggling up in the pillows and pulling the blankets up to his chin, luckily he had one of those sleeve-blankets, he thought the people called them slankets, which in his opinion was a stupid name, but the idea of such a blanket was awesome!
It was around noon when they arrived at the Kurosaki household, ringing the bell they were welcomed by Yuzu. Knowing that two of her brothers were coming over Yuzu was overjoyed to see them again, it hadn't been long since she last saw them, maybe two weeks, but she really loved them and wished they never moved out in the first place.
"Onii-chan! You are just on time, lunch is ready. Come in!"
Both were lead in the direction of the kitchen when suddenly "My booooooooooyyyyyyyyyyyyys!" One Kurosaki Isshin came flying in their direction, aiming his kick straight at them. Both Renji and Ichigo evaded his kick by using fluid motions to the side, causing the older man to land on the floor with his butt.
While Isshin got up Renji and Ichigo reached the kitchen where Masaki and Yuzu were already preparing the table. Suddenly Isshin went past them and encircled Masaki in a hug, "Masaki! Our boys are so skillful!"he cried into her ear and all she did was smile lovingly at her husband.
"Sit down, lunch is ready," was her only reply and all complied. Lunch itself was always somewhat quiet, all were enjoying the meal and it was considered impolite to speak while eating. To compensate that they talked the more after finishing their meal.
"Say Ichigo, how are your studies going?" Masaki asked him, it was the start of February and thus exams would start soon.
"Oh it's going well really, I have my pre-clinical part done and I even have a letter of acceptance that I can do my internship at the hospital. The three months will start in March, so I have some time to prepare myself for it" he responded proudly.
Ichigo took his career in medicine very seriously, he had ever since he met Renji and Grimmjow. Since that day he was determined to became a doctor and help those in need, he even had an idea in what he wanted to specialize in: pediatrics.
"AH! Perfect son! Then you will work with Ryuuken, ne?" Isshin liked the idea already; it would give him lots of possibilities to harass his old friend and brother-in-law.
"I don't know maybe. He is an internist so I guess I will see him every now and then. Uryuu will be there too, but I think he will stick closer to his father than I will, we'll see." Ichigo tried to end discussion of the subject as soon as possible, he hadn't forgotten that it was Renji who wanted to come here and only asked him because he was polite.
He could also see the annoyance in the red-head's eyes. That happened every time when they talked about things Renji couldn't possibly accomplish on his own, which made Ichigo more than just sad, he became affected. There was so much he wished for Renji and he couldn't understand why it had to be Renji that got denied his deepest wishes. The red-head was always there for him. When Ichigo got into trouble Renji was the first to take blame on himself, he had always made sacrifices in the past; and he continued to do so. It pained Ichigo to know that such a wonderful person was not getting paid back.
The orange-head always looked up to Renji, although Renji knew full well that he didn't have the same options like Ichigo he never held a grudge, not even to the manager of the orphanage where the red-head came from. As surprising as it sounds, not even to those that abused him and Grimmjow. How could someone with such an open, trusting and forgiving heart get denied the one thing he desired the most?
Ichigo couldn't understand that and probably never would, but if he could change fate with Renji he wouldn't hesitate to do just that. His big brother was everything in his life and Ichigo would take care to make it so that Renji would have it the best as he could, Grimmjow wouldn't be left out of course; they meant the world to Ichigo.
Renji really wasn't that annoyed. He was fine with the fact that Ichigo got so much attention; he deserved it in the red-head's opinion
His orange-haired brother accomplished a lot of things in his life already and Renji was, too, proud of him. Yet there were other feelings too, he couldn't deny that he was disappointed in himself.
When he was little he wanted to be a lawyer, to help those that got mistreated and had no one that would defend them, be it in front of other people or the law. He saw the painful truth countless time, and he still does. It is good for Ichigo to make those moves into the direction of helping the defenseless, but Renji wanted to help in other ways, ways he understood. He learned so much in his life, not only street smarts, but school knowledge too. He even had law books in his room, hiding them from the others, too ashamed to ever really use them.
In Renji's opinion it was justified, he never accomplished anything at all and probably never would, he wondered often in the night if it wouldn't have been better if Isshin and Masaki met children who had their documents or if they went directly to the orphanage. How would things have changed? The pain would probably never go away and somehow, despite everything Renji knew he had no idea how to handle those feelings, the feeling of being useless, being a disappointment.
Those thoughts left him with no air, unable to breath properly, so he decided that he needed some fresh air and got up, excused himself and went into the garden, the cold air did a lot of good for him in regards to clearing his head and allowing his heart and lungs to function properly again. There really was no need for him to be envious of Ichigo, although he wished he had those options too. Putting his hands in his jacket he leaned against the wall of their house and simply breathed in the chilly winter air. He didn't register the noise when the doors opened again and he was joined.
"I never thought I would see the day when you would go willingly out in winter," the amusement in Isshin's voice was unmistakable and Renji nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard the rough voice.
Calming down again he regarded the older man for a moment, "Yeah, I needed some fresh air, that's all." Isshin didn't even need to look at Renji to know that it was a lie. Deep down he knew that the young man he always saw as his son wanted more in his life. He had always been very ambitious, with a smile Isshin remembered one time were it was glaringly obvious.
It was a typical day. Isshin was in his clinic taking care of his patients and Masaki was home taking care of Renji and Grimmjow, the twins Karin and Yuzu were fast asleep in their crib. The boys were only in their care for a week, but the little red-haired boy was getting better; the cause of his coughing was pneumonia and that was healing now that he was in a warm home.
Masaki sat with both boys in the living room, all cuddled up in warm blankets and a pot of tea at their reach, Ichigo was in school now and that was the reason they sat there now, because Renji made a fuss when the orange-head went to school, wanting to go too.
It was made explained that he and Grimmjow couldn't go due to several things and surprisingly both boys understood that, they even understood the reasons; but still they had desire to learn. Renji more so than Grimmjow, but the blue-haired boy was not unwilling either.
"So I know that you can count, write and read. How much do you know about math?" she asked them. Searching for a point to start their further education, it would be a waste of everyone's time to teach them things they already knew.
"Well we can do adding, subtracting, dividing and multiplying. We can even do that with letters." She saw how Renji's faced beamed and it warmed and pained her heart at the same time.
The boy was so eager to learn, but without his documents he would never be able to accomplish anything at all, he was very intelligent too. He held so much potential she would love to barge into the orphanage and demand their documents, but it would bring the boys into trouble. She knew that and she already saw them as her sons, so her wish to protect them and to see them make something out of their life clashed with her rational brain that knew what was best, but her heart was pained at that thought.
She could never stand knowing that while she wanted to do something good for them it would punish them at the same time, so she hoped. She hoped for a miracle, that it would be possible for both of them to become whatever they really wanted. She wouldn't even care if they wanted to be garbage men or doctors as long as their heart's desire would be fulfilled. Thus she would teach them everything they needed and maybe someday it would do them good and they would have good jobs and a family of their own. Lost in thought she came to her senses again when she saw their curious faces.
"That is very good, then we will see what you know already." She gave them Ichigo's math books, which he didn't need today and made some homework for them. It was soon very clear that both were intelligent and understood things very fast, but she also saw their differences. While Grimmjow was somewhat laid-back and took his time with the work Renji was very eager to finish and get new things to work on. When she saw Isshin enter the kitchen she excused herself and let them do their work.
"So? How are they?" he asked, curious what she learned of them.
"They are very intelligent. Renji is very eager to learn, he finishes his work very fast. When he makes a mistake he understands clearly why that is and tries to not make the same mistake again. Grimmjow is just as intelligent, but he takes his time with the work and when making a mistake he learns too and tries to not make it again."
"What a pity that we can't send them to a school, it would benefit them. They could have a graduate and become whatever they wanted," the sadness present in his voice was mirrored in Masakis's eyes. They had talked about that earlier and came to the conclusion that it would be best this way, as much as it pained them.
"Masaki? Can you check if everything is correct?" the little, shy voice sounded near them. Somehow the little red-head was able to sneak up on them, ruffling his fiery hair she went to the table to correct his work.
Seeing that the boy was not moving Isshin got in a crouching position so that he reached eye level with the boy, "Is something the matter Renji?"
"You are a doctor. Why?" the simple question surprised Isshin.
"Well… I am a doctor so that I can help those that need me, like you and Grimmjow."
The answer seemed to have satisfied Renji, until he turned his head in a curious manner at him, "I want to help too, but I can't stand blood and well… needles." The last part was uttered silently. The boy probably hoped that Isshin hadn't heard, because it would be too childish and the man would wonder what the boy must have seen to be afraid of needles. Did he get involved in drugs? Or did some of his friend die taking an overdose? Whatever the reason might be Isshin really hoped that Renji was too innocent to recognize the drugs and hoped that the boy thought that the needles where the reasons for everything; although smart as the red-head was he probably figured that out all by himself already.
Isshin tried really hard to not let a sad smile overcome him and to keep up a friendly face, "Well there are people that help too, like lawyers. There are some that try to keep unfortunate children safe, sometimes it's dangerous for them when those bad guys try to resist."
That was when red-brown orbs turned from curious to determined, "There are lawyers that do that? I never saw one."
"That is very sad, but I assure you they exist. Sometimes I have to work with them," suddenly the eyes Isshin looked into were beginning to glisten."Oh don't cry, I would never tell them of either of you," he consoled him, embracing the teary red-head in a strong hug that said 'I will never let you go.'
The embrace was returned and that was when they really bonded. Over the days Isshin tried to gradually bond with them but he wasn't as successful as his wife, which was probably because they were abused by males several times. It pained him to know that men would do that to innocent children, to his son. Renji began to cry on the doctor's shoulder, holding onto the man as if his life depended on it.
Isshin now sat on the tiles of their kitchen, leaning with his back on one of the cupboards. Renji crawled into his lap and was still crying, clinging to the dark-haired man. Isshin rubbed soothing circles on the boys back hoping to calm him down, assuring the little one that he would stay, that he would be loved.
Eventually Isshin succeeded in calming the boy down, but they still sat like that. The boy was too precious to send him away, he had a kind heart that got mistreated way too often in the past and Isshin wanted for that to never happen again.
"I wish I could become a lawyer," he said, bringing a sad smile to the dark-haired man's face.
"Really? But the law is boring, the paragraphs are complicated and exhaustive."
"Yeah, but then I learn them and I want to help others like you, but without the blood." They both laughed at that, Renji got up and dried his face, waiting for Isshin to follow him.
He looked at the boy now with the eyes of a doctor instead of a father and the red-head was too small and too thin. A clear sign of undernourishment, he hoped that would change.
"Don't lie to me Renji, you must hate it, you wanted to become a lawyer for child law and now you hear Ichigo speak about his studies. I really wish you could become a lawyer," he said honestly and looking at the red-head he was filled with pride.
The little and thin boy became a tall, muscular man, who only few would dare to mess with. When he was a boy he was weak and couldn't defend himself and now? He grew up to be strong in all: mind, body and heart and he could break every bone in a body.
"You have to be fucking proud of him, the doctor-to-be, the only one of your sons you can show off." The snarl when he spoke 'sons' was not to be mistaken and Isshin exhaled a breath in a show of exasperation.
"We are proud of you too Renji and nothing will ever change that. While Ichigo is studying you and Grimmjow made your own way, with no options you were able to get a job; regardless of what it is you are doing. I know that you would study laws now if you could. So stop that self-loathing and tell me what it is you needed to talk with us about," the demand was clear and Renji complied.
"I met a guy Friday evening, fuck I started liking him, but he is way out of my league, you know?"
"Out of your league? Is he noble or what?" Not knowing how close he got with that joke Isshin began to laugh and chocked on the air in his lungs when Renji coolly stated the truth.
"Nah not noble, but heir to Kuchiki Enterprise."
Sudden end I know, but more is to come :)
