Everyone says nothing lasts forever. Why not? Meta Knight wondered. Why can't his love for Kirby last forever? He's so true, so kind, such a beautiful soul, why can't he love him forever? The way he smiles, the way he laughs, the silly things he says, there's nothing to say that Meta Knight would ever stop adoring him. How could he? They had to be wrong, he concluded.
