Chapter 24: Sozin's Comet Part 3
As Sozin's Comet ravaged the night sky, Zuko, Mai and Katara were heading for the Fire Nation on Appa with Bumblebee flying beside them on Warpath's jet pack. As they neared their destination, Zuko looked away in deep thought.
"Zuko, don't worry, we can take Azula and Shockwave," Mai reassuringly said to her lover.
"I'm not worried about them," Zuko responded. "I'm worried about Aang. What if he doesn't have the guts to take out the Fire Lord? What if he looses?"
"Aang won't loose," Katara answered. "He's gonna come back. He has to."
Meanwhile, at the Fire Nation palace, Azula was busy getting extensively groomed by her servants for her coronation while eating cherries from a bowl held by another servant. As she took another cherry and ate it, Azula could feel something inside. Surprised, she immediately spit the object out, revealed to be a cherry pit, before showing it to the servant that held the cherry bowl.
"What am I holding?" Azula sternly asked.
"...A cherry pit Princess," the servant girl quietly answered.
"Correct, and what day is it?" Azula asked.
"It is, the day of your coronation," the servant answered.
"Yes, it is," Azula replied. "So please, tell me why on the most important day of my life you decided to leave a pit in my cherry?" She then threw the pit at the servant's head, glaring at her.
"It, wasn't a decision, it was just, a small mistake," the servant answered.
"Small?" Azula almost shouted. "Do you realize what could have happened if I hadn't sensed the pit in time?" It was then that the other servants looked upon their fellow servant, concerned with what Azula was going to do.
"I supposed you could have...choked?" she asked.
"Yes," Azula answered. "Then you understand the severity of your crime." Fearing the worst was too come, the servant bowed her head down to the floor.
"I understand Princess, please, forgive me," she begged.
"...Oh very well, since this is a special day, I will show mercy," Azula nonchalantly replied. The servant, upon hearing those words, smiled, relieved that Azula was going to spare her life, only to be caught off guard by what Azula had to say next.
"You are banished. Leave this palace immediately," Azula commanded. The servant then got up and walked away backwards. Then Azula turned her attention to the other servants.
"What are you all looking at?" she sternly asked. "I have two feet that need scrubbing. And make sure you get in between the toes. I won't have my first day as Fire Lord marred by poor foot hygiene.
*QUE TRANSFORMERS PRIME OPENING THEME*
While that was going on, Ultra Magnus, leading a team that consisted of Sokka, Suki, Warpath, Arcee, Cliffjumper, Smokescreen, Blurr, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe and the other Kyoshi Warriors, at the shores of Ba Sing Se, looked up to the sky as Sozin's Comet tore through the horizon.
"It's weird to say, but the comet actually looks beautiful," Suki admitted.
"Too bad the Fire Lord and Megatron are gonna use it to destroy this world," Cliffjumper added.
Meanwhile, Toph and Breakaway arrived at the airship docks just when Ironhide emerged from the water and transformed into robot mode. The second Breakaway landed, Toph immediately jumped off of his cockpit and threw up from being air sick. Once she was done and Breakaway transformed, they headed up a cliff to the airship fleet, only to find the airships beginning to take off and Trypticon activating behind the fleet.
"We're too late!" Breakaway said. "The fleet's already taking off!"
"Then we're taking off too," Toph declared. "Where's the closest airship?"
"It's right-" Ironhide began, only for Toph to earthbend a pillar of rock bellow the three of them, propelling them to the closest airship's catwalk. Breakaway and Ironhide landed first and caught Toph before she could fall off of the catwalk.
Back at the Fire Nation palace, Azula sat on the throne of the palace, lying against one of the pillars that surrounded the throne, blue flames surrounding her, when Lo and Li came up to her.
"Azula, we heard what happened," Li began. "Why have you banished all your servants?"
"And the Imperial firebenders?" Lo added.
"None of them could be trusted," Azula answered. "Sooner or later they all would have betrayed me. Just like Mai and Ty-Lee did."
"Azula, we are concerned for your well being," both Lo and Li said at the same time. Upon hearing that, Azula glared at the twin sisters.
"My father asked you to come here and talk to me, didn't he?" she asked. "He thinks I can't handle the responsibility of being Fire Lord, but I will be the greatest leader in Fire Nation history."
"I'm sure you will, but considering everything that has happened today..." Lo began.
"Perhaps it's best you postponed your corination," Li finished.
"What!?" Azula snapped. "Which one of you just said that!?" Lo and Li responded by pointing at each other like two children would when trying to put the blame on the other.
"What a shame, there's only one way to resolve this," Azula responded. "You two must duel each other. I order you to fight an Agni Kai!"
"...But...we're not firebenders," the twins replied.
"Alright, fine," Azula said. "Lo, you're banished. Li, you can stay." With that, she walked away, unaware that she got the twins mixed up.
"But, I'm Li," Li said. "So who's banished?" All Lo could do was shrug slightly.
Back with the fleet, Ironhide, Breakaway and Toph had successfully managed to infiltrate the airship and made it to the door that lead to the cabin. Ironhide and Breakaway put their backs next to the door while Toph walked up to it.
Inside the cabin, three pilots and the captain were busy piloting the ship when they head a knocking pattern similar to 'shave and haircut.' Then the door suddenly was kicked down by Toph and rolls into it, using metalbending to encase her in a metal armor. The captain immediately sent a fire blast, which was now purple due to the effects of the dark energon in the comet, but it didn't even hurt her. The captain looked upon this in shock before sending more fireballs toward her, but Toph immediately dodged the, and kicked her leg in the air, which caused a metal sheet to come up from the floor below the captain, which sent him to the ceiling. The pilots tried to attack, but Toph bended a shield up to her, causing the fire to go around her and through the door. Ironhide and Breakaway immediately dodged the enhanced fire blast upon seeing it. Then Toph jumped from her shield and bended a large pipe off the ceiling, pinning one of the pilots to the wall before bending a large sheet of metal to trap another pilot. Toph then jumped up to the ceiling and crawled on it towards the front of the cabin, dodging fire blasts from the last pilot, before jumping down behind the pilot. The last firebender then tried to catch her, but his arm came in contact with Toph's metal arm, causing a jolt of pain to run through him. With one punch, Toph sent the pilot flying through the doorway. Upon seeing the last pilot taken out, Breakaway and Ironhide walked into the cabin while Toph shedded her makeshift armor off of her.
"That's how it's done," she remarked.
"Good work kiddo," Ironhide complimented. "Time to take control of the ship. Take the wheel."
"That's a great idea! Let the blind girl steer the giant airship," Toph sarcastically replied.
"I was talking to Breakaway," Ironhide corrected.
"...That would make a lot more sense," Toph replied as Breakaway took the wheel.
"What are we gonna do about the rest of the crew?" Breakaway asked.
"Take us closer to the water," Ironhide answered. "I have an idea." He then looked around the controls and found an intercom, clearing this throat before activating it.
"Attention crew, this is your captain speaking," he said in his best Decepticon voice. "Report to the bomb bay at once. Lord Megatron requests a final check up before the invasion."
Moments later, every Vehicon and firebender reported to the bomb bay, awaiting this so called 'check up.'
"Hey, I'm Steve," one of the Vehicons said to one of the firebender engineers. "I work up in communications."
"Oh hi, I work down in the engine room," the engineer responded. "It's probably why we've never met before. Big airship, you know?"
"Huh," Steve answered.
"Yep," the engineer replied when suddenly, Steve remembered something.
"Wait a minute, I though Megatron called himself Galvatron," he stated.
"Well why would the ca-" the engineer started before suddenly, the bomb bay doors opened and sent everyone down to the ocean screaming.
Back at the Fire Nation, it was fairly quiet inside the palace, and Azula was all by herself in the throne room, the flames still going strong. It was then that Shockwave came into the room, much to her surprise.
"I have recieved reports that we are the only two beings inside this palace Princess," he stated.
"None of my servants could be trusted Shockwave," Azula answered. "I could sense that in due time they all would have betrayed me."
"Nevertheless, being unguarded during an event where attempts on your life are the most likely to occur is highly illogical." Shockwave replied. Knowing that she couldn't banish him due to Galvatron's orders for him to remain here, Azula could just glare at the Decepticon scientist.
"Fortunately, I believe that I may have the answer to your problems in my lab back at the Boiling Rock," Shockwave added as he activated a ground bridge. "I shall return momentarily." With that, he walked through the ground bridge and disappeared.
Once arriving at his lab, Shockwave walked up to a cryogenically frozen mammoth sized tube and unfroze it, revealing a pair of yellow, beast like eyes.
Azula impatiently awaited Shockwave's return, tapping her fingers on the arms of her throne, when a ground bridge suddenly opened in front of her, and Shockwave came through.
"I present to you Princess, Predaking," he said as he motioned to the ground bridge. Then, rumbling footsteps could be heard as what came through caused Azula's eyes to widen in shock. A giant, black and orange colored cybernetic dragon, which looked down at the princess with its yellow eyes.
"What is that?" Azula asked.
"This Princess, is a Predacon," Shockwave explained. "Ferocious beasts that roamed Cybertron long ago, brought back to life using my cloning technology. The best part about having a Predacon to protect you, it is like raising a pet. It will gradually start to become more and more loyal to you the more it serves you, so you do not need to fear about it betraying you." Azula then looked up to the beast and smirked wickedly while Predaking continued to look down at his new master.
At the gates of Ba Sing Se, multiple tanks and Vehicons were positioned towards it, preparing for what was to come. Outside the gates, the Order of the White Lotus and the Wreckers were prepping to attack.
"Ba Sing Se, the Order of the White Lotus is here," Bumi declared.
"Here to set you free," Pakku added.
"Only once every hundred years can a firebender experience this kind of power," Iroh stated before inhaling deeply, feeling the energy from the comet make him stronger as a ring of fire that encircled them grew and turned purple with each breath Iroh took. Then, he gave out a battle cry and unleashed a giant ball of fire toward the wall, demolishing it on impact. Then Bumi earthbended three platforms so the Order and the Wreckers could advance towards the city. Fire blasts came to them, but Iroh and Jeong Jeong easily deflected them before everyone leaped from the platforms and the battle began. Pakku started by waterbending a huge wave toward the firebenders and Vehicons that tried to attack them and froze it immediately, trapping them. Then Piandao and Wheeljack slid down the ice and sliced the spears the firebenders carried and the Vehicons with their swords. Pakku then came through and blocked a huge blast of fire, only for his ice barrier to be destroyed. Another fire blast would have incinerated them had Jeong Jeong not blocked it with a wall of fire. Then a group of tank Vehicons came up to Jeong Jeong, who was floating in the air using fire jets from his feet, ready to fire at him, when Bulkhead came in and bashed them all with his wrecking ball before they could do so. Springer then joined the insanity and sliced every Fire Nation tank he could find in half with his sword.
Back at the Fire Nation, her coronation just a few moments away, Azula was standing in front of a large mirror, pulling her hair into a top knot and using a red ribbon to tie it, only to find her fingers caught in the knot. Frustrated, she then yanked her fingers out and immediately grabbed a pair of scissors.
"Alright hair, it's time to face your doom!" she said before cutting off a good section of her bangs. She then looked back in the mirror, grinning insanely, her hair a mess, only to hear a voice she hadn't heard for so long.
"What a shame, you always had such beautiful hair," Azula and Zuko's mother, Ursa stated from behind Azula.
"What are YOU doing here?" Azula demanded.
"I didn't want to miss my own daughter's corrination," Ursa answered.
"Don't pretend to act proud," Azula responded. "I know what you really think of me. You think I'm a monster."
"I think you're confused," Ursa said. "All your life you used fear to control people. Like your friends Mai and Ty Lee."
"Well what choice do I have!?" Azula snapped as she turned around. "Trust is for fools! Fear is the only reliable way...even you fear me."
"No, I love you Azula. I do," Ursa corrected. Quivering and tears falling from her eyes, Azula grabbed a brush and angrily threw it at the mirror, shattering it. Ursa then disappeared, confirming that it was all a hallucination. Alone, Azula fell to her knees and started to sob.
Meanwhile, Breakaway tried the best he could to catch up to Ozai's airship, which was almost at Ba Sing Se, but the airship was moving too fast.
"We're not gonna catch up to him in time!" Breakaway stated.
Once close to land, Ozai, still in his Nemesis Prime armor, walked up to the front platform of the ship. He then commanded for two holes to open up in the armor's hands, allowing him to firebend. Smiling sadistically from inside the armor, he then thrusted his hand downward and an enormous blast of fire came from it, scoarching the earth below as the airship kept moving forward towards the mountains, where Aang stood on a pillar of stone, watching Nemesis Prime's assault.
"Momo, time for you to go," Aang said to his pet before Momo lept off of Aang's shoulder and flew off. Aang then took a deep breath and earthbended sections of the pillar towards the airship, striking the engines. This caught Nemesis Prime's attention as he ceased his attack and Galvatron came up to him.
"What is the meaning of this!?" Galvatron asked.
"The Avatar is here," Nemesis Prime answered. Galvatron then looked upon the horizon to see that Aang was indeed there, firebending a huge blast to the engine. Rather than look concerned though, he smirked deviously instead.
"Time to put your new armor to the test Ozai," Galvatron stated before transforming to his Cybertronian jet mode and flying toward the Avatar. Nemesis Prime responded by using his firebending to propel himself to the pillar in front of Aang while Galvatron landed behind Aang. Upon seeing Galvatron and Ozai's new armor, Aang's eyes widened in shock and fear while the airship crashed into the mountain range.
Upon hearing all of this, Sokka got out his telescope to see what was going on, and his eyes widened with joy when he saw Aang.
"What's going on?" Smokescreen asked.
"It's Aang!" Sokka answered. "He's back!"
"Is it fear, or courage, that compels you boy?" Galvatron asked, noticing the fear that was in Aang's eyes before Nemesis Prime started to speak.
"After generations of Fire Lords failed to find you, now the Universe delivers you to me as an act of providence," he stated.
"Please, listen to me, both of you," Aang began. "We don't have to fight. You have the power to end it here and stop what you're doing."
"Hehehahahahaha! You're right Avatar, we do have the power!" Galvatron replied. "With the blood of Unicron on our side, we have all the power in the Universe!" With that, Galvatron's hands started to conjure up dark energon spears while Nemesis Prime got out a blaster that was similar to Optimus Prime's blaster. Galvatron then threw one of the spears while a huge blast of dark purple fire blasted out of Nemesis Prime's blaster, but Aang was able to earthbend two walls that protected him, but barely. Once he lowered them, it was then that he noticed Nemesis Prime flying to him using jets of fire from his feet, so Aang reacted with a spinning kick which sent a wave of fire at him, which impacted with a blast of fire that Nemesis Prime sent to him.
"Go Aang! Airbending slice!" Sokka cheered as the fight ensued.
"Shouldn't we be helping him?" Suki asked.
"The Fire Lord is Aang's fight," Ultra Magnus answered.
"Well what are we suppose to do?" Suki asked before he noticed Trypticon and a fleet of battleships coming to them.
"We have no choice, Boom! but to make our stand here! WHAM!" Warpath answered. Then everyone got their weapons ready as the ships docked at the shores, letting out hoards of firebenders, Vehicons and Insecticons, as well as the Constructicons, the Combaticons, the Terrorcons, Astrotrain, Blitzwing, Soundwave, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage, Cyclonus and Mindwipe. Ultra Magnus then got out his hammer.
"Give them nothing, but take from them, EVERYTHING!" he shouted before everyone charged into the fight of their lives.
While Aang confronted Nemesis Prime and Galvatron, Ironhide, Breakaway and Toph could only stand there and watch from their hijacked airship.
"Shouldn't we be doing something 'Hide?" Breakaway asked.
"Ozai is Aang's fight," Ironhide replied. "We need to stay focused and stop the airships from burning down the Earth Kingdom."
"How are we suppose to do that?" Toph asked. "I can't see outside of this floating hunk of metal."
"I have an idea, but it's risky," Ironhide answered before he got back on the wheel and steered the airship to float upward on the left side of the fleet. Then, the firebender soldiers on the planks of the front of the zeppelins readied themselves and unleashed huge blasts of dark purple fire to the ground, obliterating all in its path. Though Toph couldn't see what was happening, she could hear and feel the flames burning the forests down.
"Whoa...that's a lot of fire, isn't it?" Toph asked as she blindly looked down out the window. Then Ironhide suddenly veered the ship towards the fleet and pushed the engines to maximum power, which caused the ship to shake violently.
"If this works, then the ship will go on a collision course towards the fleet and plow through the rest of the airships," Ironhide stated.
"Well what are we suppose to do in the meantime!? Sit on our hands til we get sent to the scrapyard with this thing!?" Toph exclaimed.
"We could escape if we get to the top of this thing and hop across ships," Ironhide explained.
"Well then let's pray to the Allspark that we make it and go!" Breakaway said before running out of the deck with Toph and Ironhide behind him. Outside, the bottom of the ship had started to violently slice across the fleet as the trio had made it to the roof. They ran across the ship as it continued to destroy itself when pieces of the dragon's head of the front suddenly broke apart and headed towards them. Ironhide and Toph easily dodged it, but Breakaway was too late to do the same and the pieces fell on top of him.
"Breakaway!" Ironhide exclaimed as he and Toph ran up to him. Breakaway groaned in pain when he looked up to see his two friends.
"The ship doesn't have much time before it completely breaks apart!" he said to them. "Go now before you get scrapped!"
"No one gets left behind Breakaway!" Ironhide responded as he tried to pull him out of the rubble when Breakaway spotted Sixshot coming in from the air.
"Prepare to die!" he shouted as he transformed into his gun mode.
"GO!" Breakaway shouted before he pushed Ironhide aside while Sixshot fired a fully charged blast at the rubble, shattering it and Breakaway to pieces, killing the aerialbot instantly. Ironhide and Toph just looked at the scene in shock.
"BREAKAWAY!" Ironhide shouted before Toph sensed the nose of the ship breaking apart.
"Ironhide, I think we've gotta jump!" Toph exclaimed as she and Ironhide jumpped to the airship below them, narrowly missing another blast from Sixshot, who transformed and looked upon the sight as the nose crashed into an airship, thinking Toph and Ironhide perished before flying off.
Then Toph and Ironhide landed on the airship below them and Ironhide quickly covers Toph from the debris that was raining upon them.
Back at the Fire Nation, Azula's coronation was commencing. No one but the Fire Sages behind here were able to bear witness.
"By decree of Fire Lord Ozai, I now crown you Fire Lord-" one of the sages began as he prepared to crown Azula, only to stop when he heard a distant rumbling noise.
"What are you waiting for? Do it!" Azula commanded while still on her knees, when the walls in front of her exploded and Grimlock came running through, his sword in his hand.
"Who disturbs my coronation!?" Azula asked. It was then that she saw Appa and Bumblebee land in front of her, and Zuko, Katara and Mai got off of the sky bison.
"Coronation Azula?" Zuko asked. "This is bad comedy." The fire sage then moved in to crown Azula anyway, but she immediately signalled him to stop.
"Wait," she said as she stood up. "You want to be Fire Lord? Fine! Let's settle this. Just you and me Brother. The showdown that was always meant to be. Agni Kai!" Zuko, Katara ans Mai just glared at the Princess before Zuko gave an answer they didn't expect.
"You're on," he answered. Mai, Katara and Bumblebee just looked over at him in shock while Azula grinned sinisterly.
"What are you doing?" Mai asked. "She's playing you. She knows she can't take us all so she's trying to separate us."
"I know, but I can take her this time."
"But even you admitted to your uncle that you would need help facing Azula," Katara argued.
"There's something off about her, I can't explain it but she's slipping," Zuko explained. "And this way, no one else has to get hurt."
"Then Grimlock and I will snuff Shockwave in the meantime," Mai said before she and Grimlock went off to find Shockwave.
Afterward, the siblings positioned themselves from opposite ends of the courtyard and prepared for the Agni Kai. They both then got up and turned to each other while Azula removed her Fire Lord robe.
"I'm sorry it had to end this way BROTHER," Azula stated.
"No your're not," Zuko replied while in a fighting stance. Then the fight began and Azula made the first move, launching a fire blast at Zuko, to which he blocked, before performin g multiple spin kicks, propelling fire at Zuko.
Back with the fight that was ensuing at the shores of Ba Sing Se, it was 100% pure chaos. Though the firebenders and Decepticons launched a birage of attacks that were encanced by the dark energon in Sozin's Comet, they were dropping like flies. Ultra Magnus bashed everything he saw with his hammer, Sokka sliced them down with his energon sword, Suki and the other Kyoshi Warriors were taking them out with their encanced fans, and the other Autobots were taking out Vehicons left and right.
"BAM! POW!" Warpath shouted as he blasted Vehicons with his chest cannon. But then more and more Decepticons came in and things were getting much more insane, and on top of that, Trypticon was marching towards them as well, getting closer and closer.
Back with Aang, Nemesis Prime and Galvatron, the two warlords were starting to get the upper hand. Aang was speeding away using a wave of earth in the ground, but Nemesis Prime then transformed into a truck similar to Optimus Prime's and followed him with intense speed before transforming and grabbing him, pinning him to the wall. Galvatron then came in and conjured a dark energon blade and prepared to finish him off, but then he heard something.
"MEGATRON!" a voice shouted before Optimus Prime came in with a jetpack and tackled Galvatron to the ground before throwing him through a stone pillar. Aang then unleashed a fire blast at Nemesis Prime, which distracted him and caused him to drop Aang, who propelled to the sky through firebending. Nemesis Prime used the same techniques to follow him as Galvatron got up to see Optimus with his blades deployed.
"Why throw away your life so recklessly?" Galvatron asked.
"That's a question you should ask yourself Megatron," Optimus answered.
"Megatron is dead," Galvatron corrected. "I, am Galvatron!" With that, he conjured up two dark energon crystals to cover his arms and fired energo blasts from them, to which Optimus dodged before charging to Galvatron, delivering a punch to his head at the same time Galvatron tried to punch his head. Both punched made contact and sent both of them flying.
Meanwhile, Aang kept leaping across pillars to dodge fire blasts from Nemesis Prime before earthbending a stone towards him, but he missed, for the Fire Lord dodged it with ease. Then Nemesis Prime unleashed another blast from his cannon, to which Aang reacted by shielding himself from it by waterbending some of the water from a waterfall, extinguishing the fire. Nemesis Prime kept trying to incinerate him, but Aang was too quick, hopping from pillar to pillar, until one blast caught him offguard, and while he was able to prevent it from incinerating him, it did send him flying to a pillar, causing him to fall to the ground. nemesis Prime then landed in front of him, only for Aang to encase himself in a stone armor and shield himself from the fire blasts that came from the Fire Lord. Nemesis Prime then tried to punch him, but Aang propelled himself away and airbended a blast towards him, to which he dodged. Then Nemesis Prime started to conjure lightning, and once he landed on a pillar, he unleashed a fully charged blast from his blaster towards Aang, but the airbender was quick to act, airbending a tornado inside of him and propelling himself to the top of a pillar. Ozai kept trying to blast him with lightning, but Aang was always one step ahead of him as he kept hopping across pillars, using the pillars to block the attack, that is, until one blast caught him offguard. Seconds away from it coming in contact, Aang quickly lifted his finger and barely absorbed the lightning, much to Nemesis Prime's shock. He then pointed his fingers at the Fire Lord, who had a look of fear from inside the suit, but Aang hesitated and instead re-directed the lightning away from Ozai and into the sky before falling to the ground, exhausted. Smirking from inside the armor and taking advantage of this, Nemesis Prime then kicked a blast of fire toward Aang, who quickly raised a stone wall to block it, but the wall was destroyed and Aang is sent plummitting towards the water below before waterbending the water up to him so it catches him in time and sends him to the shore. Aang then looked up to see Nemesis Prime rocketing towards him.
Back at the shores, the Autobots and the warriors were struggling. Arcee was slicing Vehicons in half while Suki threw her fan to decapitate another Vehicon. Cliffjumper had Vehicons surrounding him, so he used his 'horns' to shoot as many down as he could, but there proved to be too much, as the Vehicons unleashed a birage of laser fire at Chifflumper, blasting him to pieces, killing him.
"Cliffjumper!" Ultar Magnus shouted as he witnessed the sight before bashing his killers away with his hammer, a look of rage in his optics. Sunstreaker and Sideswipe were also having some trouble, shooting down the Vehicons that surrounded them, when Soundwave came in and took a cheep shot at Sunstreaker, blasting a hole in his chest.
"Sunny!" Sideswipe shouted before trying to shoot down Soundwave with his shoulder cannon, but the comm officer retreated before he could do so. He then kneeled down to his twin, noticing the energon that was leaking from him.
"L-looks like I'm done for S-Swipes," he weakly said.
"Don't say that bro!" Sideswipe replied. "We'll get you fixed back up!" Then Sunstreaker grabbed Sideswipe's hand.
"Star strong bro, stay strong," he said before his optics closed and he died on the spot. Consumed with rage, Sideswipe then got his shoulder cannon to shoot down any and every Decepticon he could find.
Meanwhile, Grimlock and Mai were inside the palace, looking for Shockwave, when they spotted spotted him standing in the throne room.
"Shockwave...time to die!" Grimlock shouted as he and Mai charged to him, only for Predaking to swoop in and tackle Grimlock to the ground while Mai stopped dead in her tracks in shock.
"Predictalbe as ever Grimlock..." Shockwave coldly stated. "Predaking, kill them." With that, Shockwave started to walk away.
"Shockwave! Get back here!" Mai shouted as she got her katana out, only for Predaking to grab her by the claw and toss her to the wall. He was about to finish her off when Grimlock jumped on him and punched his face repeatedly before Predaking swung his head and tossed him off. Then Predaking unfurled his giant wings and flew upward to unleash a huge blast of fire from his mouth, to which Mai dodged and Grimlock blocked with his shield. Predaking focused on trying to break through Grimlock's shield with his fire, something that Mai took advantage of. Mai then jumped up a pillar and leaped onto Predaking's back and jabbed her katana repeatedly in his neck. Predaking then roared in pain and used his tail to swipe Mai off of him. Mai and Grimlock then prepped themselves to continue the fight before Predaking did something unexpected by both of them, transform into a robot mode, scowling at them.
"Strike me again, and I will burry that sword in your heart," he said.
Back with Zuko and Azula's Agni Kai, Zuko was clearly gaining the upper hand, as he easily blocked every attack Azula thew at him, and Azula was clearly getting tired. Zuko then unleashed a huge fire blast toward her, to which she dodged and propelled herself towards him using her firebending, blasting from both of her hands, but Zuko launched himself upward to dodge the attacks and block the other attacks she threw at him before he kicked a wave of fire her way, which knocked her to the ground, undoing her top knot. Azula then got up and glared at Zuko, breathing heavily.
"No lightning today!?" Zuko asked. "What's the matter? Afraid I'll redirect it!?"
"Oh, I'LL SHOW YOU LIGHTNING!" Azula shouted before conjuring up lightning. Zuko immediately reacted by getting in a position to where he could absorb it. Once her lightning was fully charged, she readied herself to shoot at Zuko, but at the last second, veered to the right of him instead and shot her lightning. Zuko looked to the right and saw what she was aiming for: Katara. He immediately started to run to try and catch the lightning, but Azula got the drop on him and shot at the ground below him, sending him flying to a pillar, knocking him out in the process. Katara just stared at the lightning dead on before closing her eyes, expecting the worst, when she heard what sounded loke an explosion. She opened here eyes, at to her horror, Bumblebee had taken the shot for her. She looked in pure shock as Bumblebee fell to the ground, the light dimming from his optics.
"BUMBLEBEE!" Katara shouted as she ran up to him before seeing an explosion from the plaza Grimlock and Mai flying through the hole, Predaking walking to them, his sword in his hand, while Azula laughed like a maniac and ran to Katara.
Back with Optimus and Galvatron, their fight had taken to the skys as Galvatron kicked Optimus away from him while conjuring a dark energon sword. Before he could stab him though, Optimus grabbed him and punched him before flying up to his body, still in mid air and punching him again. Before he could do the same technique, Galvatron flew down to him with his sword in his hands. Optimus reacted in time by getting his own sword out and blocking Galvatron's attack, but the shock wave sent him down to the ground. Galvatron then flew down to him, picked up his body and threw him to a pillar.
"You still fight for the weak!" Galvatron shouted. "That is why you loose!" With that, he clashed his sword against Optimus' and their brawl continued.
Things weren't much better in Aang's fight with Nemesis Prime. The Fire Lord was propelling towards him, so Aang reacted by using waterbending to propel him to the shore. Nemesis Prime was closing in however, so Aang earthbedned a thick sphere of rock around him. Nemesis Prime looked upon the sight as he hovered above the rock, laughing as he got out two swords from his wrists that were similar to Optimus', only on fire.
"Hahaha! You're weak! Just like the rest of your people," he declared. "They did not deserve to exist in this world, in MY world. Prepare to join them. Prepare to DIE!" With that, he clashed his swords onto the sphere, creating a massive explosion, as Aang stayed in the sphere, frightened and bracing himself before Nemesis Prime attacked again.
As the chaos ensued, no one knew that they were being watched by five elite Autobots known as the 'Aerialbots.' Arriving on Earth's moon a mere few hours ago, they were a part of a search party lead by the Autobot known as 'Hot Rod' as well as two other groups of Autobots known as the 'Protectobots' and the 'Technobots,' in efforts to find Optimus Prime, hopefuly alive, after the war back on Cybertron was lost. Hot Rod, sitting on a rock on Earth's moon, saw the Aerialbots fly towards him and transform with optimistic looks on their faces.
"What did you guys find?" Hot Rod asked.
"Optimus, he's alive," the Aerialbot leader 'Silverbolt' replied. "But he's in deep trouble, and so is this entire world." Upon hearing that, he immediately got out a comlink on his wrist and pressed a button.
"We found him big guy, you know what to do," Hot Rod said. Then, rumbling footsteps from behind the group could be heard as a massive Autobot, about as big as Trypticon, walked up from a massive Autobot spaceship and looked upon Earth, saying these words.
"Metroplex heads the call of the last Prime..."
