Madison: "I'm sorry Eva Marie, I really appreciate your input on this and that's a super idea to make it 6, but I have a feeling we're probably going to stick to three on three."
Eva Marie: "It's your funeral. Those guys are going to bury you."
She walks off and Natalya waits until she's out of ear shot.
Natalya: "I don't know what she is even still doing here. Every match she's been in has been cut from the show because she sucks so badly out there. It's a hot mess watching her."
Madison: "Exactly why I didn't want to insult her by saying "You can't kick ass. You suck at what you do. They keep you here because you're a part of Total Divas and that's it. They need to ship you back to NXT like they did with JoJo." I mean, really?"
Natalya: "And now they want to put Summer Ray on Total Divas in her place."
Roxy: "I really feel bad for you. They want all these air headed blow up Barbie dolls out there in the ring with zero talent while chicks like you and Kaitlyn who actually are ass kickers take a back seat."
Chapter 3 Retaliation
The Divas of Destruction are entertaining the idea of upping the ante with The Shield VS Divas of Destruction match with Natalya in the locker room. Jessica is nursing wounds from running into Seth's vest and it appears that Dean is has issues of his own with his lady Kensie outside of WWE. Dean is sitting outside on a bench in his street clothes. He changed into grey jeans and a black T-shirt with his black and grey chucks and a black leather jacket. He's got his suitcase with his gear in it next to him waiting on the van to come and take him back to the hotel where everyone was staying for that night. His phone rings and he looks down to see Kenzie's face smiling back at him from the screen. He answers.
Dean: "Hello Darling."
Kensie: "Hi babe. Did you have a good night?"
Dean: "Have you been watching RAW and Smack Down for the past two weeks?"
He absently flicked the ashes off the end of his cigarette and took another drag.
Kensie: "Yeah. I only see what they play on TV and I know there is a lot more that happens behind the scenes from the live tapings. What happened?"
Dean: "Well, There's a new faction of females called Divas of Destruction and we've challenged them to a match. This means that we're going to be spending close time and a lot of hours training with them before this match even happen."
Kensie: "Those three are hot and they've got skills. I'm starting to like their style out there. It's different from those fluffy pretty girls that go out there lately."
Dean: "Yeah. They are very good and they hold their own against men too. That's why we decided it was time to mix it up with them. That and the way they go out there and take over the ring is a lot like our Shield antics. There's something you should know."
He suddenly wished he had something stronger than a cigarette to smoke as a crutch to lean on. He looked at it like it was going to help him explain Roxy to Kensie better.
Kensie: "Uh oh. I don't like that tone of voice you have."
He dropped his voice down quieter not really wanting to have this talk, but he knew he needed to or she was going to be even more pissed off that he hid something from her.
Dean: "You're really not going to like what I have to say, but you're my girlfriend and I owe it to you to be totally and completely honest with you no matter what."
He heard Kensie take a deep breath bracing herself for the possible bad news he was about to hit her with over the phone.
Kensie: "Which one did you fuck?"
He looked at the phone like a monster was going to pop out and then realized he was making it sound like there was a lot more to the story then just an old girlfriend.
Dean: "Oh my God, no. God, no it's not like that. I'm sorry I didn't mean for you to jump to that conclusion. I didn't fuck anyone I promise."
Kensie: "Come on Jon. Out with it stop giving me the Ambrose treatment and just tell me."
Dean: "All right."
He finished his cigarette and flicked the butt out into the gutter where there was some water to put it out.
Dean: "All right, I didn't fuck anyone and nobody tried to fuck me. See, this actually goes back to Moxley and NXT way before I even met you. See, I was young and going around the IWC and Roxy Diamond Dust Rodriguez was out on the circuit at the same time I was. I also knew her friend Jessica the Resident Rocker, but Moxley never really went up against her. I went up against Diamond Dust a couple of times and she handed me my ass. That earned my respect, but if you've ever seen Moxley in action he don't take kindly to that stuff. So, one day I'm outside the training facility and I'm talking with one of the other guys and Roxy walks up and she over hears me talking shit about how I'm going to beat her and take her down and all this other shit. Fast forward the story a little bit, I started to like Roxy. So, I dropped the Moxley act and showed her the real genuine me. She liked the genuine me and fast forward some more we hooked up and started dating."
Kensie: "You and Diamond Dust dated."
Dean: "Yes. We dated for about a year before she moved on to the next division and I went to NXT."
Kensie: "You dated Diamond Dust for a year and didn't feel compelled to share this information with me until now. What, did you think she'd never surface again? She's a Diva out there working her way up to the WWE. Of course your paths are going to eventually cross you're in the same circle."
Dean: "To be honest with you, no. I didn't think our paths would ever cross again. I didn't think you'd ever run the chance of seeing her either. So, now that there's that chance that you may see each other and she may sit you down and want to talk to you about old times. I needed to tell you. I don't want you to look stupid in front of her, darling."
He nervously started to play with his lighter and then realized he may have seriously made a mistake not telling Kensie sooner about Roxy. If it were another dude that suddenly popped up in Kenzie's life wouldn't he be upset? What if he turned on the TV and she was in a heated love scene with this guy and he found out they were romantic for a year before that scene? That would make him pissed and he'd get jealous and he probably wouldn't take too kindly to Kensie calling him "babe" and trying to smooth things over like he was doing here.
Kensie: "Ummm, too late for that one, dude. Hi, remember our first date? We sat down and talked about all the people we were with."
Dean: "I do remember that conversation. I do remember talking about all the people we were with."
Kensie: "You didn't tell me about all of the people obviously. You told me you kissed a dude and went through a bisexual period of your life. You never once mentioned the fact that your old girlfriend that you dated for a year is back in your life full time now as a Diva."
Dean: "Kensie, Roxy is in the past. There are zero feelings there between us anymore. That's ancient history. She went the way of Jon Moxley. It's just a memory of the past and I'll never live it again."
He now examined his cigarette pack like it was the most interesting thing in the world. He didn't like confrontation which was total opposite of what he did with The Shield in the ring. He wished he carried a little bit more of Dean Ambrose's confident air into his real life. Hell, would that help him right now? No, this is reality and he set the situation up this way.
Kensie: "No. She's not a memory of the past anymore. She's a full time Diva and she travels from city to city with you on the same tour. She is a part of your life now. You'll be running into her backstage and you'll be having conversations and getting lonely. She's going to want to come over and hang out in your hotel room and play video games until wee hours of the night. She's going to want to invite you to breakfast in the morning or do whatever it is you do to kill time when you can't sleep at night. Don't give me that bullshit."
Dean: "She can want whatever she wants. I don't have to accept her invitations. I don't have to spend late nights with her or early mornings with her. I don't even have to acknowledge her calling my name. I'm not going to be flat out rude to that woman, but I don't have to be over friendly either. I know how to handle this situation without it blowing up into some huge fight between her and you. I love you and you are worth fighting for."
Kensie: "I'm worth fighting for, but I wasn't worth you mentioning that you left out a year relationship with Roxy. What else are you not telling me, Jon? Are you secretly hiding little side pieces of ass in the WWE bus backstage too?"
Dean: "Hell no. I would never cheat on you. I'm a true gentleman."
Kensie: "A true gentlemen would've mentioned Roxy on the list when we were talking about past relationships and how they were going to help us build this one."
Now he felt himself getting frustrated. This was defiantly turning into an argument with his girlfriend.
Dean: "Darling, I am sorry I didn't tell you about Roxy. I hadn't seen or heard her name in so long that I honestly thought she was gone. I had no idea she was going to come back and show up at the WWE."
Kensie: "Ok, I'll grant you that. There is no possible way that you'd know she was coming back to the WWE unless you were talking to her and obviously from the shock and horror in your voice, you weren't talking to her."
Dean: "No. We weren't. This is the first time in forever that I've even heard her name or seen her face. I mean, she comes up on the Ring of Honor page and a couple other little wrestling networks, but I haven't been seeking her out on purpose. I don't entertain the idea of hooking back up with old girlfriends that I haven't seen in years. There's a reason why old girlfriends are in the past."
Kensie: "Yes because you have a current girlfriend who doesn't put up with you playing games with old girlfriends and I know how you are. I know you better then you know yourself some days."
Dean: "Yes you do. You know the real me. The one that is underneath the tough eccentric ring persona and you know that the man you fell in love with would never cheat on you no matter how smoking hot or how deep the history is with some other female."
Kensie: "And I also know that the man I fell in love with would never lie to me or intentionally keep a secret from me. So, why did you?"
Dean: "Excuse me?"
Kensie: "Why is your year with Diamond Dust such a huge secret and why couldn't you just tell me about her? If it is truly just a past relationship with a past girlfriend it should be easy to talk about."
Dean: "My year with Roxy is not a huge secret. It just never came up because nobody mentioned her name and quite frankly I'd forgotten all about her. So, she obviously didn't make that big of an impression on me. If she did, I would've been like "Hey you know, there was this awesome kick ass chick back in the day I used to fuck around with" and you'd be like "Really" and I'd tell you the story of how Roxy and I met and hooked up."
Kensie: "Now it's a kick ass chick you used to fuck around with. Which one is it Jon? Did you date her for a year or did you fuck around for a year?"
Dean: "Both. I am a man and I do have needs. I can't go for a year without sex. Hell, I barely last a day and I feel like I want to crawl out of my skin."
Kensie: "Now the truth comes out. Was that so hard to say to me?"
