Hey people who are reading this story! I'm sorry for not updating in a while, I had some... technical problems. That aside, this story might end in this chapter. I have no more desire to continue this. I need to finish this so I can finally sleep peacefully.

Anyways, enjoy.

"Say, Bruno. Why do you have the keys to Zon's apartment?" Johnny asked his younger twin as they walked towards the elevator. "I... Uh..." Bruno stuttered. The younger boy sighed and explained to his brother. "Sometimes, when you won't let me follow you to some tournaments, I would camp out at Zon's place and come back home a day before you arrive back,". Johnny was a little sad at this brother's confession, he never knew it would hurt him THAT bad. "Bruno... you know I do that because I care for your well being." Johnny smiled as he clicked the 'Down' button. Bruno felt his phone ring in his pocket. He glanced at the screen and quickly answered it. "Hello?" "Hey you two. I reserved two seats at The Lazy Cat, since I heard from Paradox that you guys are coming here." the blue-haired girl said. "Who's that?" Johnny whispered to Bruno while dragging him into the elevator. "Cuzkins." Bruno whispered back. "Alright, thanks cuz." the younger boy said. "Glad to make you happy." Misaki said as she dropped the line. "So... what did she say?" Johnny asked as he pressed the designated floor. "You know where The Lazy Cat is, right?" Bruno questioned his brother as he slid his phone back into his pocket. "Yeah. Lemme guess... Misaki got us two seats there?" Johnny snickered. "Yup!" Bruno's eyes lit up. They both knew Misaki likes to spoil them silly, ever since she got kick out of her home. The elevator dinged and the metallic doors opened. The twins walked towards the small yellow car and head towards their destination.

Meanwhile, at Zon Yamashida's dingy apartment room...

Zon groggily opened up his eyes. "What..." he mumbled as he got up from the couch. He cringed at the state of his apartment. It was humid, due to the wet towels piled up in a corner, there's food packaging everywhere and it stank. 'Mental note: never allow Placido let Lucciano stay home alone,' Zon reminded himself. He went into his room and started up his slow computer. While waiting for the computer to load up, he cleaned up his apartment and after he was done, he went back into his room and saw that he had many unread messages from his colleagues. The black-haired disregarded it and opened up the web browser. 'good pickup lines', He typed into the search bar. He really wanted to confess to Yusei and get it over with.

After a good two hours, Zon found the perfect pickup line. It was something about a motorcycle and a innuendo. He was content with what he found, considering the amount of time he took to find the said pickup line. He written it down in a piece of art block paper. Zon even wrote some other pickup lines just in case the one he wanted to use didn't satisfy him. Zon looked at the clock at the lower left corner. '5:02', it read. Zon realized he hasn't bathed and made his dinner yet. He got up the chair, stretched a bit and walked towards the small kitchen. He cooked some rice that can feed 2 people, in case any of his roommates didn't eat. After that, Zon headed towards the bathroom and took a pretty long bath.

As Zon was bathing, he heard the door opened and heard two similar-ish voices talking about dueling and family matters. Zon swore he could hear a female voice with them and quickly dried himself off and dashed towards his bedroom.

Meanwhile, Misaki and the twins were chatting until they heard a door slam. "What was that?" she asked the two. "I'm guessing that Zon bathed and didn't want you to see him naked." Bruno chuckled. "Oh... classic... So you guys wanna watch School Life of Mutual Killing? It's gonna be on in a few minutes." Misaki inquired Johnny and Bruno. "That'll be cool, I guess." Johnny said as he set their dinner on the coffee table. "Let's watch!" Misaki said cheerfully as Bruno turned on the TV.

As for Zon, he had an internal panic because he didn't expect Misaki to come over to his not so very extravagant apartment. But he progressively calmed down as he wore his clothes. The scientist wore a pair of pajama pants and a faded yellow T-shirt with a cat on it. He walked out of his bedroom and went to the kitchen to see Bruno preparing drinks. "Hey." Zon greeted. Bruno jumped at the surprise but calmed down instantly. "Stop scaring me, jeez." Bruno rolled his eyeballs. "Sorry, Bruno." Zon immediately apologized. "I bought you some chicken curry, it's in the microwave." Bruno said as he pointed to it. "Thanks, you're great." Zon smiled in happiness. He was planning on eating an omelette and eat in front of the computer, watching cat videos but hey, sometimes things don't go as planned but maybe, it might be for the best.

Zon scooped up some rice, took some of the chicken curry and headed towards the living room. "Oh, hey Zon." Misaki greeted the scientist. "Hey Misaki." Zon greeted back. All four of them were attentively watching a class trial where they discussed a murder of a teenage idol. As soon as Zon was finished eating, he went back into his room and watched a few videos of Yusei's past duels. When Zon realized that it was 7:30 pm, he quickly changed to his usual uniform and grabbed the pickup lines. He speed-walked towards Misaki and asked if she could drive him to work. She happily obliged, since she is going back home herself.

As they both got into the car, Misaki asked. "Are those pickup lines?". Zon had a hard time trying to keep it under wraps but then, it was Misaki, so he admittedly said yes with a blush on his face. "Oh come on Zon, don't be shy. I'm sure Yusei will like them." Misaki tried to cheer him up. Zon appreciated his female friend's efforts and smiled for the rest of the ride. "Here's your stop. Also remember this; Be assertive and don't place your expectations too high." the blue-haired advised. "Thank you for the ride and the pep talk, Misaki Borelli." Zon hugged the female and walked out of the vehicle. Misaki did a little fangirl dance and drove off to her home.

Zon placed the pickup lines in his pocket as he walked into the building. His trip to his office was quiet. It was one of the reasons why Zon liked the night shifts. Peaceful and quiet. He walked into his office, which was opposite of Yusei's and went to work.

After 2 hours of work, he saw Yusei walked into his office and sat down on his chair. Zon picked up the courage to talk to his superior. After a few seconds, he got up and took out the paper with the pickup lines on it and walked towards Yusei's office.

"Yu-Yusei?" Zon timidly asked. "Come in, what's the matter?" Yusei looked up from the computer and replied. Zon was moving towards Yusei at this point and said the pickup line as he walked "A-are you a motorcycle because I would like to ri- whoa!" Zon said before tripping on a wire and falling onto the carpeted floor, face-first. Yusei was shocked at Zon's clumsiness and quickly went up from his office chair to help him. "You okay?!" Yusei asked in an alarming tone. "Y-Yeah, I'm fine." Zon groaned as he got up. 'To go such lengths to tell me a pickup line... I should reward him for having the courage to admit his crush on me' Yusei thought as he got Zon up on his knees. "Zon, you don't need a pickup line to say that you wanted me. You could have said it all along." Yusei smiled. "I'm sorry for not being honest with you, I just do- Mm!" Zon stuttered before his apology was interrupted with Yusei's lips on his. The kiss was sweet and passionate. Zon was the first to break off the kiss. The both were panting. "So... Uh..." Zon was speechless. Yusei placed his index finger on Zon's lips, silencing him. "I like you too, Zon Yamashida." Yusei admitted. Zon's face could rival the colour of a tomato as he heard his full name being said by his crush.

"D-Do you wanna go out with me?"
