Jasper spoke up, Jasper started laughing at him and I elbowed him in the side.

Paul started to look seriously pissed now. He growled, balled up his fists and started to approach Jasper. Wait a second, growled?!

Jasper grabbed my arm and started pulling me away from the two boys. m sure they will sort it out in a minute. Did I say something?
As we came to one of the fire pits, I sat next to Jake while Jasper introduced me to everyone. Leah was gorgeous with her short black hair and auburn eyes. Her brother, Seth, has the same eyes, but he was much happier to meet me. Next to him were Quil, Claire and Embry. Claire was very cute, and I could tell that Quil just adored her. I didnt really to get to know him because he ran off after Paul and Jared who were going into the woods. Emmett was on the ground next to the fire, trying not to burn his hot dog. When he was done he came up and sat next to me.
He sounded so proud that he cooked something remotely edible. I pitied him and took his half burnt/half undercooked hot dog, smothered it in ketchup and slowly nibbled on it.
I smiled at him, I looked around at our group and noticed all of the men were eating obscenely large amounts of food. Fast. Itt chokedJez, you He looked at me shocked and when I started to laugh I guess he realized I was joking and started howling with laughter. It literally took a solid five minutes for him and the rest of the group, who apparently heard my joke, to stop laughing. I didn Awkward. As the laughter started to die down, I saw Jared, Sam and Paul walking out of the woods toward our group.
Paul and Jared both sat down across the fire from me. I was shocked by Pauls looks oft know, longing? Regret? Hope? In any case, both scared the crap out of me. I looked away and shivered and Jake put his arm protectively around me and thinking I was cold, rubbed my arm to warm me up. Emily noticed my discomfort and tried to distract me.

It was well past sun down, but our group didns lap, making her mini skirt ride up. I felt very awkward as she grabbed his head, forcing him to kiss her hard. I looked away, embarrassed to intrude, even though they were being very public. I noticed form the corner of my eye Paul pushed the girl who Emily told me was named Kim off his lap. For about half an hour I watched her as she shamelessly flirted with ever guy who was in our little group in front of her boyfriend. She pointedly ignored me when Emily attempted to introduce us and Paul shot me an oddly apologetic look.

Suddenly I felt like I was going to throw up. My embarrassment from earlier mixed with envy, jealously, and fear. I reeled from all of the emotions hitting me at once. I rubbed my temples and felt Jaspers hand rub my back.
Jasper accused Emmett.
Then he took one look at me, He said half serious, half joking.

Emily laughed, t have left you a slice of bread.s presence but she ignored him and continually tried to kiss and drape herself over him the rest of the night. Jared made a few rude comments at Kim, but was silenced by Jake before it could escalate into a fight.
When the fire dimmed to embers, I started to feel a breeze so I snuggled closer to Jake. His warmth seemed to radiate like a heater, quickly warming me. I looked across the fire to see Paul glaring at me, and I ducked my head in obvious discomfort.
Jake must have thought I was falling asleep because he asked me if I needed to go home.
I started to argue, but Jake insisted I go home and get some rest. I stubbornly refused, Emmett and Jasper had been looking forward to this for a while and I didnWho wants to tell ghost stories?t going to speak up against it, even if it meant id have nightmares tonight.
Paul studied me closely and said without taking his eyes off me, t think we ME YOU DIDN Wait a second, imprint? HIS Bella? What is going on?!
Then Jake started shaking like Paul did earlier, only this time it consumed his whole body. All the girls ran for some reason, and Paul and Sam tried to talk some sense into him. Jared told me to walk away from Jacob, and then Jake and Jared exploded into two huge animals. Something hard smacked into me sending me flying. I hit a tree, and before I passed out I caught a glimpse of three huge animals fighting, then everything went black.
