(A/N: I don't own My Babysitter's a Vampire. Erica is about 3 months now so the food cravings are beginning to take affect, wish Benny luck! Enjoy)

Benny's POV

I stand in the small room as the sun's rays bathe it in light, painted butterflies dance around the walls. I see Erica sitting in the corner with a soft smile playing across her lips, she is cradling a small bundle in her arms and as I draw closer I realise that the bundle is actually a baby. The infant coos as I approach and I feel a sudden sensation of pride and happiness. We are a family. I take the child from Erica, making slow, careful movements so i don't hurt my...I mean our daughter. She stares up at me, blinking slightly, her big, beautiful, blue eyes adjusting in the light of the early morning sun. Her few dusty blonde curls bouncing as I rock her from side to side. She is perfect.

I am shaken violently awake by a crazed looking Erica, I was enjoying that dream!

"Erica, what's wrong? Are you okay? Do I need a first aid kit or an ambulance?" I stammer, the words pouring out of my mouth, worry contained in each of them.

"Well I don't think I need an ambulance but you might need your wallet" she smiles slyly, playing with a strand of hair.

"But I don't have any money, you spent it last week on boots!" I whisper, concerned that we may wake Ethan and Rory.

"Well they do make my calves look amazing" Erica grins through the darkness.

"What do you need money for at 3 in the morning anyway?" I continue, pulling the conversation back to the situation at hand.

"I want you to go out and buy me some cheese spread and cherries" she smiles, sweetly.

"What can you possibly do with cheese spread and cherries?" I question, now thoroughly confused and I must admit slightly intrigued.

"Duh, I'm going to eat them...I was thinking about dipping the cherries in the cheese" she mumbles, gazing into the distance as she imagines the disgusting combination with relish.

"You actually want to eat that? Why, I repeat why would anyone think that would make a good snack?" I grumble, annoyed that she woke me just to do something that she could do twenty times faster anyway!

"Well it is your fault that I'm having these cravings! What happened to 'we will get through this together'?" She screams, sending Ethan and Rory shooting into the air with fright.

"Guys, what the hell is going on? Why is Erica screaming and why am I awake at 3 in flipping morning?" Ethan questions, angrily as he glares at me and Erica.

"Benny's being an insensitive jerk so just the usual" Erica shrugs, sending me a look that would scare the Grim Reaper.

"Erica woke me up in the middle of the night because she is too lazy to get off her butt and actually do something for herself so just like the usual!" I shoot back, returning her own remark.

"Well I figured that you would be a good boyfriend for once and actually accept some responsibility. Oh wait... I forgot, you aren't capable of handling responsibility" she mutters, baring her fangs.

"QUIET!" Ethan bellows, taking me completely by surprise "Erica, it wasn't fair of you to wake Benny, he has been exhausted recently because he has been so worried about you. Benny, you need to be more supportive and yes, it might mean going to the store during the middle of the night but it's worth it. You have the opportunity that so many vampires crave and you just take it for granted, I would love to have a kid with Sarah but I know that it can never happen and that hurts me so much. Do you remember Ellie saying that you need to work together? She was right, you two are so much stronger as a team but instead you just continue to act like children and I'm sick of it, Sarah should be babysitting you instead go jane!" Ethan yells before striding out of the room, slamming the door in the process. I did not expect that.
