"Ashley, Raiki, over here." A Ra student called
"Hey, Dimitri!" Raiki replied as they high-5ed
"So… Where's Bastion and Zane?" Ashley asked Dimitri as she scanned around
"Bastion's sitting out front. Zane's watching out back where he can see everything." Dimitri pointed out to Ashley and received an 'oh…'
"Go and hang out with Bastion. I'll hang out with Dimitri." Raiki instructed reassuring her to go, Ashley nodded and so did Alexis
The two girls had gone over to Bastion.
"Hey, Bastion." Ashley greeted with a smile
"Where were you this morning?" Bastion asked as he saw her
"Oh… It was crammed in the room so I got up earlier. I'm not a big fan of small spaces." Ashley told the Ra; Alexis blushed at the word crammed
"Anything wrong, Lexy?" Ashley asked mischievously and innocently
The two girls sat beside Bastion, before Ashley had put her bag pack on her lap and her eyes shifted on Alexis.
ALEXIS POV
"Anything wrong, Lexy?" I heard Ashley asked mischievously and innocently
"No! Of course not." I replied as I unwillingly recalled what happened earlier
FLASHBACK
I had just been woken up by the sunlight that was shining on my face. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Jaden Yuki up in my face inches away from touching my lips to his. I slightly blushed.
"Hey!" a voice said
"… That's my chicken sandwich…" Jaden continued dreamily
I giggled, that was odd… Yet cute at the same time. I shrugged the thought away, when suddenly I felt something on my waist. It was Jaden's hand and he pulled me closer to him. I wanted to shout at him but nothing came out… When suddenly I felt his body pressing on mine; my mind went blank, nothing was registering in my head. A second later I felt his tongue in my mouth; he didn't even force himself to do that… Or rather he didn't have too. My body… My lips had followed his actions, willingly. It was weird that my body was so relaxed in his arms. He parted from my mouth leaving an irresistible sensation; I never felt before… And I wanted more…
He must be dreaming of kissing his sandwich. I thought as I analyzed Jaden
Jaden's grip became loose now. Now is the time to escape his grasps and think of what to do next… So I carefully got on my feet and walked to the door.
This is crazy! He just kissed me!!! Not only kissed… He made out with me and he's ASLEEP!!! IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!?
Well, he just did it… So much for that thought… But it felt… Wonderful? I blushed and shook away the thought and looked at Jaden once more before I go out of the room. I blushed even more as I saw his innocent and clueless face.
I don't like these feelings one bit… I really don't understand this…
END FLASHBACK
NORMAL POV
Jaden and Syrus had entered the duel stage.
"Now, presenting the greatest tag duelists in the world! The Paradox Bothers!!! Now… Let's get this over with shall we?" Crowler said mischievously smiling as the Paradox Brothers entered
Ashley's eyes turned to its cat's eye form and narrowed her eyes at the people who entered.
"Of all the no good people…" Ashley muttered
"You know them?" Bastion asked
"Don't you guys?" Ashley asked in shock, so shook her eyes turn back to normal
"Rumors have it that Crowler arrange these professionals to duel Jaden and Syrus…" Alexis replied
"They're the Paradox Brothers… The same ones in the Pegasus' duelist kingdom; that tagged dueled with the King of Games and Joey Wheeler…"
"Wasn't that a 3 on 2?" Bastion corrected
"Yeah! I remember…" Alexis said when Ashley suddenly stood up
"I want to go and take a better look. Keep an eye on Laike for me, please? Bastion?"
"Alright." Bastion then carefully takes the pack away from Ashley as she made her way to the stage.
"Where are you going?" A voice asked her as Ashley reached the door
"I'm going to take a closer look. Want to come, Zane?"
"Not really."
"Suit yourself." Zane gave her a weird look; she didn't even try and force him to go with her
Ashley smiled at Zane and left before he had said anything else.
ASHLEY POV
"Young mistress… What are you planning to do?" I heard Buster Blader said as he appear by my side
"Nothing just yet…" I spoke since I know no one else was around in the hall
"They're trouble."
"I know, but they're only tricksters and have Gate Guardian as their trump card to destroy their enemy from what I can remember in duelist kingdom…"
"I think, Jay and Sy have a chance against them. They're a force to be reckoned with, especially Jay. I have faith in them."
"Why do you have such faith in those guideless fools?" A deep vicious voice echoed in the hall
"Who?!?" I turned around but didn't see anyone
"Be careful, Hime-sama, I felt a presence."
"Me too…" I told him as the hairs on my skin went up
I started fast walking to the duel stage this time afraid that something or someone unwanted might show up.
I had reached the duel stage to only hear the Paradox Brother's chatty-ness. The duel had already started… Apparently, it's not looking to well for Jay and Sy because Kazejin was on the field, but everyone's life points were still 8000. So the duel had just started.
Kazejin Attack: 2400
Along with Rai the Seahorse in attack mode with 1700 attack points. I looked over at Jay and Sy's field and saw Gyroid in attack position with 1000 attack points and Burstinatrix in defense position with 800 defense points.
"I play dark designator. This powerful spell card allows me to call out any monster that I can think of. And if there is in the deck, it is immediately added to his hand!" The brother wearing green said
Sy had gasped.
"Now… Let's see here. Sanga of theThunder."
"Hahahaha! What do you know! It's right here ready to tear them a thunder!" The orange one drew a card in his deck
As I recall it had 2600 attack points… This is bad… They are already gathering up the parts for Gate Guardian.
NORMAL POV
"The duel had just started." The orange one said
"And yet it is almost done." The green one continued
"For your demise has already begun!" They chorused
"Oh, give me a break!!! That's lame, especially since you have no chance of winning!" Ashley shouted at them with her eyes in its dangerous appearance, as Syrus gasped
The brothers eyed Ashley on the sidelines and laughed.
"At last the right time has arrived!"
"Their faiths have now been sealed!"
"Now, our vengeance is almost complete;"
"You can't do anything about it!" They taunted her and pointed at her as she grunted as a reply
"Jay, Sy, if you two can find a way around Gate Guardian then you guys can win hands down!" Ashley told them
"Isn't Gate Guardian like a huge and powerful monster?" Syrus asked Jaden
"Yup! That's what makes it so fun!" Jaden grinned at his partner
Syrus had started to wobble and almost fainted on the spot.
"You know, Jay, if we quit now we still have time to go back and pack our stuff! So—uh—shall we?"
"No way! The only think we're packing is some serious dueling punch!" Jaden mused with a childish look on his face
Yes, maybe Jay's right; we should pack some serious punches… Syrus laugh nervously and weakly
Syrus wasn't completely convinced just yet; at least that was what Ashley thought.
"Sy! Come on!!! You two can do this!!! I know you can that's why I'm cheering on you!!!" Ashley shouted at him cutting Syrus' line of thought
Ash's right. People are cheering us on! And I won't let them down! Syrus thought, getting back his focus.
I won't lose!!! I'll show not only the paradox brothers, but my brother as well. I definitely will! And I'm gonna do it right here and right now in this turn!!! Syrus said to himself as his eyes landed on Zane who was watching
"All aboard! I summon Steamroid in attack mode!" Syrus said with a determined and serious face
Steamroid Attack: 1800
"And I also play this—polymerazation! Check it out! I'm taking my Gyroid and Steamroid and fusing them together to create the ultimate engine that could! Steam Gyroid!"
Steam Gyroid Attack: 2200
"Now that's locomotion! So, you guys made a mistake in all that teamwork, when you took your brother's Giraikubo; leaving your brother defenseless and wide open for an attack!"
"Uh—Sy…" Jaden tried to interrupt
"Sy, don't…" Ashley groaned
"And now, I'm coming in! Steam Gyroid attack Par!"
"Attack?" The orange one's face was uneasy and a bit scared
"Got that right!"
"If you please brother." The orange one said after he smiled
"It will be my pleasure indeed, brother. Kazejin defend with wall barricade." Syrus gasped
The orange one 'hmph' contentedly.
"A most especial ability, do you like?" The green one, Dox, said
"It reduces the attack to 0 without even a fight." The orange one, Par, continued
"So I goofed?" Syrus asked as he's eyes ended up on Ashley
"Be careful, Sy. They might not be so friendly next time around." Ashley frowned
Ashley didn't like this one bit; she felt so very useless. Crowler snickered and caught Ashley's attention.
"Do these two absolutely think that they have a chance against Par and Dox? This is worse than dirty socks! See now they have me doing it!" Crowler laughed
"Crowler…" Ashley muttered under her breath before gritted her teeth and had her hands into fists tightening as she felt angrier by the second
"Forget it, Sy. No biggy."
"Yeah, right." Syrus said sarcastically
"Sy, Jay is right."
"I am?"
"Of course!!! Just learn from your mistakes the duel is just starting!" Ashley said enthusiastically
"Yeah! Just keep going, Sy" Jaden added
Syrus nodded
"Alrighty then. I play one card face down and I end my turn." Syrus said continuing the battle
"That's a smart move; my draw." Par said
"I play monster reborn, and bring back the frightful Giraikubo."
Giraikubo Attack: 2200
"And I also activate a spell card tribute doll."
"Not again!" Syrus complained
"Yes, again. I will sacrifice Girai to summon another level 7 monster. Suijin!"
Suijin Attack: 2500
Syrus and Jaden gasped; Ashley rolled her eyes.
They do a lot of gasping today… Ashley shrugged
"And I'm not done yet. Mind if I borrow a monster, brother?"
"Please that's why he's there." Dox told Par
"I sacrifice Rai the Seahorse…"
"Oh, blah—blah—blah! Get on with it! We know you're sacrificing him for Sanga of the Thunder! And you're going to polymerize them to summon Gate Guardian!!!" Ashley snapped
Sanga of the Thunder Attack: 2600
Syrus gasped again and the brothers laughed.
"It is touching to know,"
"That you remember us so."
Ashley glared at them; hoping no one had caught that little tidbit about her.
"Now, I sacrifice Kazejin, Suijin and Sanga to summon Gate Guardian!" Par announced
Gate Guardian Attack: 3750
"Now, go destroy Steam Gyroid! Tidal Surge Attack!"
Ashley looked away as Gate Guardian attacked; she couldn't bear not doing a thing for them. She heard Syrus' scream of pain and her fists tighten even more.
Jaden and Syrus' LP: 6450
"I know it hurts," Par started again
"At the battle it will only get worse." Dox continued
Ashley was getting pissed off at the Pardox brothers and glared at them not only because they were targeting her friend but also because they were very darn irritating her.
"If it gets as bad as their rhyming then we'll be in serious trouble." Syrus said
"Well, the bigger they are the harder they fall. Let's take this thing down!" Jaden said to Syrus
"I can't wait to see you try, so I'll end my turn with a face down card." Par replied
"Then time to go to work. Here it goes. Alright you're up, big guy! I'm gonna summon Elemental Hero Clayman!"
Clayman Attack: 800
"And next I play polymerization! Ha! I fuse Clayman and Burstinatrix to create Elemental Hero Braveheart Blaster! He's bad."
Braveheart Blaster Defense: 2500
"Yeah, he's bad, but not as bad as that Gate Guardian… He only had 2500 defense points that Gate Guardian's attack is 3750. Blaster'll get busted!" Syrus said to Jaden
"Don't sweat it. That's what the special ability is for, Sy. See, when he's in defense mode Braveheart Blaster can attack the player directly."
"Our Life Points!" The brothers chorused
"Go, Jay! Blast those rats!" Ashley covered her mouth
Jaden and Syrus looked her way and started laughing as Ashley blushed.
"Now, go, Braveheart Blaster, blast them with Braveheart Barrage!" Jaden continued when they had stopped laughing
"Sure, it's only half the point you'd usually get from an ordinary attack, but hey! It's a special effect what are you gonna do?" Jaden taunted them
Par and Dox's LP: 7000
Jaden gave a thumbs up at Ashley and she smiled at him in returned.
"A lucky move." Dox muttered
"Alright! We're back in this thing!" Syrus praised
"Sy— we were never out of it." Jaden giving Syrus a thumbs up after
"It's my draw now." Dox announced
"Darn it… I'm itching to jump in and duel with them…" Ashley muttered to herself
"Mistress, it's against the rules…" Buster reminded her
"I know, but still…"
"I activate the spell card Fairy Meteor Crush and I'm equipping it to Gate Guardian. Now, when the guardian attacks the difference between the attack points to the defense points will be deducted straight to your life points!" Dox explained cockily
"Wait, but you forgot! I have a face down card! I'm activating Mystical Space Typhoon!" Syrus reasoned
Ashley smiled at the light blue hair boy, who looked at her for approval.
"It destroys one spell or trap card and I'm gonna use it on the one you just played, Fairy Meteor Crush."
"Right into my trap! Judgment of Anubis!" Par Interrupted
Syrus gasped
"Foolish boy, this lets me stop your little spell simply by discarding one card. Your typhoon has just been downgraded into a cool summer breeze." Par told him with a hint of 'as-a-matter-of-factly'
"But wait, that's not all it does! It also destroys one of your creatures." Par continued
"And its attack points are dealt by you as a cool special feature." Dox added
Jaden and Syrus' LP: 4450
Par smiled again contently and that made Ashley annoyed.
"Just you wait, Pardox brothers, Jay and Sy will bring you down! Just like Yugi and Joey did!!!" Ashley shouted at them
"Then in that case I'm putting a wall in front of you!" Dox replied
Defense Wall Defense: 2100
"It's called Defense Wall and as long as it's in defense mode all your monster's attacks can only attack him!" Dox continued
"It's your turn what are you waiting for?" Dox taunted at Syrus and it was pissing Ashley off
"Hey! Don't you get cocky just yet! My friends are the ones who are going to kick your butts!" Ashley shouted at the brothers
"Oh, don't make me laugh!" Dox shot at Ashley who was beyond pissed now
"Well, actually a miracle." Syrus said as his knees started to shake in fear
"I summon, Cycloid in defense mode!"
Cycloid Defense: 1000
"You summoned a bike? Ha! Ready for a major flush! Gate Guardian, Tidal Surge Attack!" Par said as he drew a card
"And don't forget the effects of Fairy Meteor Crush, I have him equipped for! The difference between my attack points from your defense point goes to your life points!" Par continued
The crowd gasped as Syrus knelt down after receiving the attack.
"Syrus!!!" Ashley called
Jaden and Syrus' LP: 1700
"Your life points are falling!" Par mused
"Your game plays are appalling!" Dox continued
"There is nothing to be done except give up and stop falling!" They chorused and laughed
"Attention Jaden Yuki, it is your turn. You must make a move or you'll be disqualified!" Announcer said
"Jay…" Ashley muttered
Ashley looked at her friend what is she going to do? Or rather what can she do? Jaden and Syrus only had 1700 LP left while the Paradox brothers have 7000 LP. Ashley's attention turned to Crowler who was laughing and she let out a small grunt.
"So, Crowler, enjoying the boys' punishment too much, are we?" Chancellor Sheppard said to Crowler as he laughed maniacally
"Ah… Well, you misunderstood! I'm just laughing because the duel is nearly done and I'm happy that they're suffering is nearly over." Crowler explain
"Lair." Ashley muttered softly only she heard
"They don't look like they're suffering to me. In fact, I think Jaden's only getting his second will." Sheppard countered
ASHLEY'S POV
My eyes widen as I saw Jaden, Chancellor Sheppard was completely right. But then my head started to throb, loudly, and I had put my hands on the stage for support. I could see the moving mouths of the duelists but couldn't hear a thing.
'Am I going deaf? No… That can't be right… …Then… Am I going insane? …No, that's not it either…'
I tried to focus on the duel Jay and Sy were in. I have to keep an eye on them; I mustn't let them worry and cheer for them. I saw Winged-Kuribo and I knew Jay wasn't going to get beaten… No, He had back up.
'Look, at the bright side… I can't hear the Paradox brother's stupid rhymes anymore.' I couldn't help but give a weak grin
I don't know how long I can wait for them to finish the duel but… I hope it won't be too long, because it was getting harder and harder to breath and my chest is hurting now…
"Sy, Jay, don't listen to them; they're your enemy! Keep fighting!" I shouted with all my might
I began panting when I saw Jay smiled my way; I knew he had something up his sleeve as my consciousness began to drift back and forth and realized I was getting weaker and weaker for some reason.
I saw Jay telling something to Sy, as I pushed myself focused my entire attention to the duel, and he seemed to be still struggling, and then Sy and Jay starting talking again. It was like watching a movie in mute mode. But when Sy drew a card he finally smiled and as I can tell he drew a good one and Jay seems to think so too since he was also smiling.
Sy had summoned Drillroid in attack position and as I knew it destroys any defense monster it attacks.
Drillroid Attack points: 1600
And Gate Guardian was in defense position… I looked around the field and saw Sparkman in Jay's field with the spark gun. Jay must have switched it! That's great! …But then Defense Wall was still protecting the monsters in the paradox's field… Defense Wall was destroyed but with a price…
Jay and Sy's LP: 1200
I groaned not only because of the pain, but also… Because I might not see my friends again… This is not good… I saw the paradox brother yapping away but I ignored them. I already knew Gate Guardian is still standing and didn't need an update. I looked at Sy and he wasn't one bit scared and I knew that monster was going down! I saw Sy activate a spell card Shield Crush which destroys any defense monster; I should know that card was from my trunk after all. Gate Guardian was destroyed and no monster was left in the paradox's field. I wanted so badly to taunt them but when I slowly opened my mouth nothing came out. I was too weak even my knees were struggling to support my weight.
But still I had to focus on the duel…
NORMAL POV
"I should really thank you for destroying Gate Guardian; Dark Element, this spell card can only be used when even Gate Guardian is in the graveyard; we only have to pay half our life points." Par started as he drew a card from his deck
Par and Dox's LP: 3500
"And we can summon a monster much greater Gate Guardian! A monster that can't be beaten in battle, Dark Guardian!"
Dark Guardian Attack: 3800
"Now, Dark Guardian attack Drillroid with Axe Slash Bash!"
"NOT YET! I play my face down Hero Barrier! This card can stop any attack as long as I have an Elemental Hero out and as you can see... Sparkman is an Elemental Hero!" Jaden countered
"An impressive trap card." Par began
"I never thought they'd be so hard." Dox continued
"I know, they go on and go on, but oh well, at least our precious Dark Guardian…"
"…Has kept up his guard."
"Keep yapping… I know they'll win…" Ashley managed to say with a weak grin on her pale face, both brothers grimaced
Jaden looked over to his friend and noticed that something was odd. Syrus fell on his knees in defeat and Jaden's attention once more; he was losing all hope and fast.
"Chin up, Sy, this match isn't over yet. Ash's right, we'll win just believe we can until it's over." Jaden said to Syrus calmly
"But Jay…"
"But nothing. Now, stand up, you'll want a good view of what I'm gonna pull."
Jaden was now getting pissed not because of Syrus but because of the Paradox brothers; Syrus stood up, slowly.
"It looks like the boy still wants to keep on playing." Par teased
"Really? I thought it was mercy he was pleading." Dox replied
"Can it you two! It's my turn! And I activate my spell card pot of greed." Jaden announced
"This lets me drew two cards from my deck. And next I'll play fusion gate. With this card I don't need polymerization; I can summon any fusion monsters I want. And I'm gonna start with Elemental Hero Avian and Bubbleman and let's not forget to put Sparkman in the mix as well. And they'll create the monster that will beat you, brace forth, the Elemental Hero Tempest!"
Elemental Hero Tempest Attack: 2800
"That is an impressive monster." Par started yet again
"Have you forgotten about our Dark Guardian? He is deployed, he can't be destroyed… " Dox have yet continued
"Your beast is null and void."
"Void this! Skyscraper! Don't you know, you shouldn't play in a construction zone? Well, my Elemental Hero will be added 1000 attack points because it's weaker than your Dark Guardian." Jaden replied
Elemental Hero Tempest Attack: 3800
"Whatta!!!" The brothers chorused
"Now, E-Hero Tempest attack with Terror Arrow Plummet!"
"May I remind you; in battle he can't be beat! Your E-Hero Tempest has just been wasted!" Par taunted with a smile on his face
"So, Sy, can you spare me a card?" Jaden said as he ignored the earlier comment
"Sure!"
"Sorry you guys, but so long as I banish 1 of our monsters to the graveyard Tempest is not destroyed!"
"Jay…"
"Hey, it's cool trust me!"
"Yeah…"
"This will all work out if you play the right cards; come your turn."
"If he has a turn! Ha!" Dox mocked as he drew his card from the deck
"I play the trap card one on one fight! For I'm sure, you prefer to run and hide this card forces all the strongest monsters to battle! So now, your Elemental Hero Tempest is in for a rematch!" Jaden grimaced in Dox remark
"Why? What's the purpose?" Syrus asked
"I have my reasons." Dox answered
"Well, I hate to do it. But I have no choice… Guess, I got to get rid of skyscraper. " Jaden said; leaving a confused Syrus
"So you saved your monster! But that does mean you saved your life points!" Dox stated
Jaden and Syrus' LP: 200
"That's all for me." Dox started the rhyme again
"And on the next turn I give you my guarantee." Par continued
"For this duel will be ours just wait and see."
Syrus started to get intimidated again.
"Alright, Sy, remember what I said." Jaden said
"Oh—right."
"Got it, Sy?" Jaden said happily
Syrus was deep in thought when he was about to draw his card. Ashley, in the sidelines, was in a cold sweat and anyone could easily spot that she was in a sort of daze; too focused in the battle and little by little being able to hear again. Syrus looked up to Zane who was watching with his composed and emotionless poise at the back of the stadium, then put his attention back in the game. Ashley started to hear some sounds and voices again.
"Here we go! My draw!" Syrus started
"Ok, first off! I sacrifice Drillroid to summon UFOroid."
UFOroid Attack: 1200
"And also I activate my spell card Power Bond!" Jaden nodded followed by an 'Un!'
"It's a fusion card! And I'm just about think of two monsters to fuse!"
"Wait… What?" Ashley managed to say; Syrus nervously laughed
"Sorry, I meant… I've just the two monsters to fuse! Jaden, do you mind?"
"Hey, what's mine is yours, Sy!"
"Then your Tempest and my UFOroid to create UFOroid Fighter! And it gets better! His attack points get each individual monster's attack points."
UFOroid Fighter Attack: 4000
"Wow… That's new!" Jaden commented grinning
"Thanks to Ash's last minute card addition." Syrus informed his partner who nodded
"Stop your needless prattle." Par started
"Guardian can't be destroyed in battle." Dox continues
"That's true. But that doesn't really matter because Power Bond has a special ability that doubles my monsters attack points!" The brothers gasped
UFOroid Fighter Attack: 8000
"8000!!!" The brothers gasped again
"Sure, Dark Guardian may survive the attack, but it'll be a different story for your life points! Now, lets go! UFOroid Fighter attack! Cosmic Fix Flash!"
Paradox Brother's LP: 0
"Way to go!!!" Chumley shouted
"Y-yeah… Way to go you two…" Ashley muttered giving a weak smile
BASTION POV
"I'm getting more and more impressed everyday!" I said as I heard Laike, Ashley's dog, barking in rejoice
"I'm just glad Jaden gets to stay here." I heard Alexis say next to me
I looked at her.
"You mean Jaden and Syrus." I corrected
"Yeah! Of course, Jaden and Syrus… Moving on." She said defensively
Did I just miss something? I shook off the thought and put my attention back to the stage
NORMAL POV
"IT CAN'T BE! HOW COULD THEY WIN?!? IT'S SO UNFAIR…" Crowler shouted
Ashley pushed herself off the stage; she looked kind of drunk, and faced Crowler who was now sitting on the ground. Ashley smirked; Crowler's face was in denial of his defeat. Professor Banner walked over to Crowler's side.
"How? Because of your superb teaching ,of course!" Banner told him
"Oh… Wait… They're in my dorm." Banner realized, Ashley laughed as Pharaoh licked Crowler's cheek
"That fur-ball just licked me!!! Does he have rabbies?!? CALL THE POUND!!!" Crowler panicked, Ashley laughed even more
Ashley turned her attention to Jaden and Syrus, after seeing Chazz and his lackeys leave the stadium, and with one hand pushed herself up the stage, gracefully.
"Come on, Sy. Let it out. I know you cry when you're happy." Jaden said, as Ashley walked over to them
"N-no way! Not the new Syrus." Syrus said as he turned away to hid the tear from Jaden
"Ah, there are some things that never change." Jaden said facing Chancellor Sheppard, Crowler and Professor Banner
Ashley pounced on him from behind and received a hug from his friend.
"Well, there is one thing that won't change… Is that the three of you will STILL be staying in the Academy. You're all here to stay! " Chancellor Sheppard announced
"Yes!" Jaden shouted and rejoiced with Ashley on his back smiling
"Yeah!!!" Syrus said as his eyes gleamed with happiness
"Oh… And you guys… Let me just say that, that was a great honor. And if you ever want a rematch just give us a holler!" Jaden said
"Well, said Jaden and I'm sure it would be even better written!"Sheppard said; Jaden flinched
"WHAT?!? B-bu-but… I kind of lost my hearing somewhere in the middle!" Ashley groaned as she let go of Jaden
"That's right. I want a 5 page report and I want to hear all about what you learn in dueling the brothers and how it helped you realize that trespassing in the abandon dorm was wrong." Chancellor Sheppard said
Jaden, Syrus and Ashley stared at the Chancellor.
"Aw… Talk about a bummer…" Jaden sighed
Syrus sighed too.
"How about ten pages then? And single spaced too." Chancellor added then walks away
"I'll make sure they get it done, Chancellor." Banner replied
Jaden fell on his knees and Syrus watched him.
"WAH!!! How can I write ten pages?!? I've never even read that much! And last time I made a ten page report I just copied off Ash over here…"
Syrus' attention shifted from Jaden to Zane. Syrus' face was dead serious.
"Wait… I was already excluded a few days ago… So… I'm not required." Ashley muttered interrupting Jaden's line of thought
"WOAH!!! That's not fair!!! How am I supposed to copy off you?!?" Jaden shouted at Ashley as she grinned
And she looked over at Syrus and Zane's direction, who were staring at each other. Zane's expression softened and he smiled before leaving the stadium and that made Ashley smile too, when suddenly Jaden appeared in her range of sight.
"Ten whole pages!!! That's practically a—" as he tried to curse and leave
"Jaden…" Syrus interrupted anticipating the curse word
"My life is so over. Aw~ I don't even know how to spell Paradox brothers and do all their parts have to rhyme?" Jaden said as he walked away
Ashley looked up to see Bastion and Alexis smiling and watching them which Raiki approached smiling. She waved at them and smiled back.
"AH!!! This will take forever!"
"Who cares! At least you're here to stay." Chumley said as he rushed down the stairs to meet them
"That's right! Beside we can always help you two with that." Ashley added, as the three Silfers cheered and Syrus and Chumley started shaking Jaden
Everyone in the stadium clapped and cheered for them and Banner was proud of them.
"That's game!!!" Jaden shouted as he did his signature pose
