As we all know Ashley hangs out with Yugi and the others before Yu-Gi-Oh GX. I also hinted that when Alexis pointed out about that tag duel on the duelist kingdom with the paradox brothers that it was a 2 on 3 instead of the usual 2 on 2. (Yes, I modified it.) So you can put two and two together. =) Hopefully I cleared that out.

"Come on, Bastion!!! We're late for baseball!!!" Raiki shouted while jogging in place in front of Bastion's door wearing their PE uniform with a yellow handkerchief tied on his arm
"Baseball? Can I play too?" Ashley asked sweetly wearing a gray hoodie t-shirt inside her Ra yellow sleeveless blouse and a gray flowy skirt that reach above her knee
"NO!!!" Bastion and Raiki chorused
"You guys are so no fun." Ashley pouted
Ashley's phone began ringing. She looked at her phone and what she saw made her eyes widen.
"Ash, you ok?" Raiki asked
"Ah… Yeah, excuse me." Ashley said with a serious face then left the two guys alone
They looked at each other and both shrugged, before leaving for the gym.
ASHLEY POV
"Hello?"
"You finally answered your phone! Everyone's already stressing about what's happening to you!!!" A familiar voice scolded me
"Mokuba…"
"What happened to you? Joey and the others sounded like you were being slowly murdered to death!" I laughed nervously
"Well… You can put it that way, I guess. The games are starting again…"
"Games?"
I walked inside my room and slammed the door shut.
"Shadow Games, I can already feel their presence… Something's coming, but I'm fine though. Just experiencing random severe headaches... But it's nothing to worry about!" I told him when I heard some shuffling on the other line
"Oh… Hold on. Aguilos wants to talk with you…"
"Wait! You're with Ni-ni???"
"Well, yeah… I work for your brother, remember the secret person who send me... It's your brother. Kind of an exchange thing; you being over at DA and me working in a safe monitored environment… Here…"
"Ah… I see. So, can I talk to Ni-ni?" I reminded him
"You're on speaker, Hime-chan." I heard my brother say
"Oh… Ni-ni! Where are you two anyway?"
"In my office. The duelists are on their way here." My big brother said referring to Yugi, Joey, Tristan and Seto-sama
Yugi and company plus Seto-sama; it was still odd for me to listen to my brother say that, since he encourage me to play so much.
"Yeah, putting big brother in the same room as Joey and the other guys will be a challenge."
"Oh, I can handle that! But only until I hang up."
Yeah, I have to agree Seto-sama and the others… In the same room? Joey and Tristan would be pissed off at some point by Seto-sama's arrogance and try to beat him up, but I keep them sane by talking to them; somehow making them focus on talking to only me, though I don't exactly know how that works.
"Sorry for intruding." I heard Yugi say, followed by some shuffling
"Hi guys! Sorry for worrying everyone and not calling."
"Chibi Ash, tell us about the shadow game!"I heard Joey whined almost immediately
"Alright, alright. It was no big deal. My friend had a shadow duel that I accidentally activated." I heard the door slammed open
"Where was it located?" A familiar deep voice said; then the door slammed close
"Show off… Kaiba…" Joey and Tristan had grunted after
"In the abandon dorm, Seto-sama, by the way I have a bone to pick with you!"
"That place has been off-limits for a while and FOR A REASON, ASHLEY!" He scolded me
I could just imagine his scowl, but I was really angry at him right now so I ignored his scolding.
"Why the hell is the uniform's skirt SO FREAKIN' SHORT???"
I loved switching subjects; it was kind of like mind shuffle with Yugi and Atemu, plus being on speaker helps.
"The uniform's skirt is short???" I heard they all echoed, except Makuba and Seto-sama
"It's too short and made of leather." Mokuba added
Yeah, he already saw me wearing it; last time he visited and he actually was helping me and not making any irritating and perverted remarks.
"KAIBA, YOU BIG PERVERT!!!" I heard Ni-ni shouted half playful but the other half I didn't know; slyly, I guess.
"Oh, she's HOT in THAT, and I bet her classmates and friends are happy about that too." Mokuba snickered
Oh… He just had to say something that would embarrass me…
"SHUT UP, MOKUBA!!! When I get home you are toast!!!" I shouted almost instantly on the phone as I was blushing to myself on the other end
It was so awkward that they talk about me so casually that way when I'm just on the other end of the line.
"Unless I give you the new Air Trek, that is super popular now, and I'm sure YOU WILL WANT IT! …But let's talk about that later…" He replied as he laughed weakly; I assuming someone; either Aguilos or Seto-sama was giving him THE dangerous look when he stammered near the end
You know that dirty look that says now is not the time to be talking about that, look.
"You're sure you aren't hurt at all, Ash?" Yugi interrupted
I almost forgot Yugi was there; the one person immune to any mind games and switching subjects.
"Yes, Yugi-kun. I'm fine; just the usual headaches. Come to think of it… When my friends tag dueled with the Paradox Brothers… I had a really, really severe headache…"
"You think, they're able to do that? The Shadow Game, I mean… You only get it when the dark powers are used, right?" Tristan asked
"Well, yeah… But I doubt it, I mean, it was an exciting duel, yeah, but it wasn't Shadow… But Buster and I felt a presence… Like that one time with Bakura and the other with Marik... We didn't see anyone around like that though…"
"I knew it… Maybe we should take her out of DA…" Joey interrupted, now in big brother mode as it sounded
"NO! I'm needed here. I can't hide forever! I mean, sure, playing dumb was nice when I was little because it was too big a responsibility and Atemu was still with us… But I can handle it now; you guys taught me how. That's why… Please let me stand my ground here." I said immediately
"B-but…" I heard Joey say he was definitely worried
"Hime-chan's a strong girl. I'm sure she can handle herself." Ni-ni answered for me before I could answer for my self
"Besides, I can drop-in once in a while to check on her…" Makuba inserted
I heard some 'Hn's and 'Uh-huh's; so that was definitely a good sign.
"… NOW, about these FRIENDS and CLASSMATES… Names and backgrounds. NOW, HIME-CHAN!" Ni-ni ordered after a few moments of silence
Everyone laughed, but Aguilos was serious and so was Seto-sama… Frankly because I didn't hear their laugh while I was on the edge of my seat.
"Oh… I don't know… Seto-sama, knows them all. He owns DA after all; even let one of the guys BE ENROLLED in DA just to guard me." I said cockily so they won't ask me about it, besides bringing up Raiki saved me from the hot seat before, so why not?
"Oh? Nice, Kaiba!" I hear my brother say in a somewhat playful and sly tone
"Anyway, I have class… See you all in winter break, I guess." I spat rushing to hang up on them and not letting them say another word
NORMAL POV
Ashley ran to Crowler's class as fast as she could. She was late and didn't want a 20 page report on whatever topic he was going to teach today. She quickly entered her classroom and looked around to see Crowler with a black eye which made her stop from her tracks.
"Am I in the right room?" Ashley asked
Everyone looked at her and laughed; this was the only class she had without Zane, Jaden, Syrus, Alexis Raiki or Bastion. Dimitri was the first to approach her.
"Ashley, over here. W-we saved you a seat." Dimitri told her; his face looking a bit flushed
"Thanks!" Ashley said with a grateful smile
The guys sighed, as she went to her seat.
"So… What was the fuss about?" Ashley asked Dimitri
"Chazz was supposed to sit here near us, because that Silfer kid beat him. He's going to duel Bastion for his right to stay in Obelisk." Dimitri explained trying to keep his calm as best he could
Ashley went quiet as her eyes were glued on Chazz; Chazz ran and left the room with a depressed expression on his face. Ashley sighed.
Well, it was good to see Crowler with a black eye though, but I think I'll skip this class since he's just going to degrade us again. Ashley thought to herself and giggled as she looked at Crowler one last time before turning her attention to Dimitri
"Dimitri, can I just copy from your notes later?"
"Sure, but why?"
"Thank you, Dimitri!" Ashley said and gave him a hug
Dimitri blushed and forgot to ask why again, before Ashley dashed off after Chazz.
ASHLEY POV
I ran after Chazz hoping I could somehow help him get that depressed expression on his face off... Sure, he's annoying, smug, irritating and all that… But he was very sweet with me before… That time at the lighthouse where I met 'my Chazz'… I sighed. Then Bastion came to my mind…
… He's moving up to Obelisk… I guess, he was destined to be there anyway. I sighed again.
"What's with all the sighing, Ash?" I heard a familiar voice say
I turned around to see Jay, Sy and Bastion.
"Oh, hey, Jay! Sy, Bastion. Where you guys headed?"
"Your dorm. We're helping Bastion paint his room." Sy answered
"Oh, so it is true, Bastion is moving up."
"Crowler had just told me this morning, Ashley…" Bastion said hesitantly
I smiled at him trying not to make him guilty or anything.
"Don't worry! I'm sure you'll be great! You're skills will surpass their expectations!"
"… Yeah, thanks. You don't need to flatter me, Ash…"
"No, no. I'm just telling the truth, right, guys?" I ask our two Silfer friends
"Yeah!" Sy answered
"No doubt about it!" Jay added
Then an awkward silence came over us. It was weird it happens a lot now a days, between me and Bastion.
"… So need any help?"
NORMAL POV
"The more the merrier I'd say!" Jaden said
"Well, if it's not bother…" Bastion hesitated
"It's no big deal; after all we are friends!" Ashley said enthusiastically
The foursome headed to the Ra dorm as Bastion explained his tactic in his duels.
"You see, I believe that there's a formula for everything and anything can be proven given the right equations…" Bastion said as they entered the room
"And using those equations I create my deck… Traps over there, spells over here and you get the idea. And as you all can see I'm running out of room…"
"Alright then! I'll go get the paint and you guys can start moving the furniture outside." Ashley said eagerly before she ran outside
"She pumped!" Jaden commented
"Yeah…" Bastion said almost restlessly
After 15-20 minutes all of Bastion's furniture was on the hallway and Ashley came back running with the buckets of white paint and brushes. Bastion took the ladder on the hall and started painting the ceiling while Jaden, Ashley and Syrus each took a wall and started painting. Ashley took out her IPod and listened to it; playing No Ordinary Love by Jennifer Love Hewitt in full blast and began singing with a kind of sad tone to it.
"Hey, Jay. I thought Ash was pumped…" Syrus whispered to Jaden
"Yeah… Hey, Ash!!!" Jaden called but she didn't hear
Bastion listened to Ashley singing and ignored the two Silfers. Jaden threw his paint brush at Ashley and hit the back side of her head that is now white in color.
"Ou…" Ashley said as she took off her headphones
"I know my sing was bad but did you guys have to throw the paint brush?!?" Ashley shouted
"It wasn't bad. We're just worried!" Jaden started
"You sounded kind of sad…" Syrus continued
"I did?" Ashley asked and looked at Bastion but he just shrugged an 'I don't know'
"It was a random song; it's no big deal, guys, really."
"In that case…" Jaden said as he came up behind Ashley and dumped a bucket full of white paint on her head
"JADEN!!!" Ashley shouted
Ashley threw the paint brush she had been holding and accidentally hit Syrus.
"Hey!!!" Syrus said as he got hit as his brush slipped out of his hands and to Bastion's face who was currently on a ladder
Everyone looked at Bastion and laughed.
"Oh, this means war." Bastion said
Bastion saw Jaden near the ladder and dumped the bucket of paint on him.
"Nice one, Bastion!" Ashley grinned
They all laughed this time.
It's ok… We'll still see each other in classes and I could always visit anyway. We'll always be friends no matter what… Right, Bastion? Ashley thought as she looked at Bastion with a smile on her face
After painting Bastion's room, they went to the cafeteria and Ashley had insisted on buying dinner for everyone. Bastion was already carrying a big lobster on his left hand and a plate of fries with a burger in the other hand.
"Thanks for carrying my food, Bastion." Ashley said as she smiled weakly trying as hard as she could not to influence Bastion decision to go to Obelisk.
"It's no big deal; I've always done it because I want to, you know." Bastion said as he looked at Ashley after putting down the plates.
Jaden and Syrus had set themselves down in front of Bastion and Ashley's place and at the table were 3 plates with mash potatoes, scrambled eggs with carrots on the side.
"WOW!!! That's a lobster!!! Do you guys always eat so fancy???" Jaden asked excitedly
"Well, don't you guys?" Bastion asked back
"The only thing we get close to lobster is grilled fish." Syrus said
"So I don't owe you lunch anymore, Jay, since I bought you guys diner." Ashley announced
"Mmmm… It's so delicious!!!" Jaden exclaimed as he took a bite of his diner
"Why isn't Ash eating the same thing as us?" Syrus asked
"Because she's allergic to seafood." A voice answered as the guy came towards the group
"Hey, Raiki." Ashley greeted without even looking his way
Raiki embraced Ashley from behind and smirked knowing that it would annoy Bastion.
"Bastion, I heard from Dimitri. You're moving up. Congrats." Raiki said as he turned to Bastion who was currently irritated by his actions
"Let me eat in peace will you, Rai?" Ashley complained
"Since Bastion will practically be gone we'll be around each other more; it's good to get use to it." Ashley flinched at Raiki's words and couldn't hold back her tear for much longer
"I-I'm going to my room now. I think Laike will love this…" Ashley said as she took her plate and disappeared up to her room in an instant leaving the Ras and Silfers in confusion
"Stupid. Stupid, ASH!!! You're not supposed to interfere! You're supposed to be happy! Happy for Bastion!!!" Ashley shouted as she was safe, locked up in her room; hitting her head with her free hand
"You are so selfish!!!" Ashley shouted at herself using the mirror
Laike barked at Ashley as he ran towards his master.
"Here, Laike." Ashley said as she put down the plate with the hamburger
Laike ignored the burger and jumped on his master and licked her face to comfort her. Ashley started laughing.
"Laike! I'm t-ticklish! Stop!!!" Ashley exclaimed
Laike jumped back down and ate his burger before Ashley stood up and walked to her study table. Ashley caressed the table as she remembered the time when Bastion help her with her review and fell asleep on her study table. Ashley smiled then sighed as her hand stopped on her drawer and pulled out her cyan blue notebook. She hadn't written anything one it since she arrived in DA and it's been months already. So she sat down and started to write her feelings, her secrets, and her whole soul being poured to that little notebook.
Ashley suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder as she was writing on the 5th page of doodles on her notebook. She turned her head to see a tall guy in a black cloak.
"What are you doing here? How did you get in? Who are you?"Ashley asked appalled as she stood up quickly to face the stranger in the room
He appeared to be somehow familiar to her… But why? She never met him before, Ashley was sure of it.
"Princess… I have come to take you away from this place, even if it means taking you away by force FROM THEM." The masked guy had told her
Ashley's eyes widened. Did he mean Jaden and the others? Or Yugi and the others?
"I-if… I go with you… Will you leave them alone?" Ashley asked the brown hair boy
"Ah- but that would only mean the worse is still to come for your friends." He maniacally replied and sent chills up Ashley's spine
Ashley clutched her fist and took in a deep breath to regain control.
"Then the answer is No." Ashley answered as she smiled at the vicious long hair guy
"FOOL! You'll endanger them all!" He pressed on
"I'll get them out of danger then!" Ashley spat as her legs started to uncontrollably shake
It was happening again… Her head was throbbing loudly which led her to touch her forehead with her palm before starting to wobble and caused him to smirk.
"Is it starting to bother you, princess?"He taunted
He had been causing her body's sudden break down.
"Damnit… Who are you?!?" Ashley spat at him
"I'm your worst enemy and nightmare… I am Nightshroud." He introduced himself
"So… You were the presence… During the tag duel…"
"And what took you so long to realize that?!?" He taunted again
Ashley's whole body began to shake unwillingly from fear.
"… I won't work for the dark side!!! I won't help you! I'd rather die!" Ashley shouted at him
"Oh… But that won't be fun. You have to keep living, princess. Live and witness what kind of pain you have unleashed to your friends! All the pain that's in store for them all!!!" Nightshroud replied before laughing maniacally
Ashley leaned on her study table and her tears began to come down to her cheeks. Nightshroud leaned toward Ashley and caressed her cheek with his forehand while he was inches away from her face.
"D-don't… P-please…" Ashley muttered; Nightshroud smirked in content only centimeters away from her lips
Ashley woke up in a cold sweat as she sat up in her study table.
"A… Dream…" Ashley muttered when her PDA started to ring
Ashley, in panic, picked it up and answered the video e-mail.
"H-hello?" Ashley hesitantly said
"Ashley! I think you should come down to the docks right away. I want you to come and check something." The female voice said that appeared to be Alexis
"U-uh… S-sure…" Ashley answered hesitantly and nervously
"Hmm… Maybe, I should ask someone else… You seemed out of it, Ashley." Alexis concluded
"Oh, Don't! It's fine... I'll go." Ashley insisted
"Well, ok. I'll call someone to pick you up just in case. Bye." Alexis ended
ASHLEY POV
I put down my PDA before collapsing on my table again and groaned.
Why does this keep on happening? Who is Nightshroud?
Ok… So I think I'm becoming self centered and the things that are happening are not helping either. I sighed. I need a break from all of this… And I think it's time to tell Jaden… Ok… Maybe not Jay… I'd go for Bastion or Zane as my best bet to understand, but then again… I doubt Bastion will believe the shadow game mambo jumbo. Zane… I don't know how he'll take it… I groaned again as I violently scratched my head.
"Something wrong?" a familiar sadistic voice asked as he walked toward me
I stood up quickly and turned to the voice. It was Nightshroud… My eyes grew wide as I could have sworn it was a dream! Am I losing my mind?!?
Someone please save me!!! Please!!!
I slipped to the floor and violently shook my head. I pulled up my knees and curled up in the corner. I felt his hand roughly took me by my chin and made me look at him. I screamed and someone opened the door.
"Ash, you alright?!?" A deep monotonous voice asked; it was Zane.
And just like that Nightshroud vanished leave black smoke in his place. I stood up and ran to Zane before embracing him tightly and crying at the same time.
ZANE POV
I received a video e-mail from Alexis saying Ash was acting weird and kind of scared for some reason. So I went to the Ra dorm to check her out. When I reached the door of her room I heard her scream and I instantly opened the door.
"Ash, are you alright?!?" I shouted almost as immediately
I saw her in the corner of her room curled up in a ball shaking in fear.
What was she afraid of?
I look around and saw no one… …Except Laike, Ashley's puppy sleeping on her bed. As soon as she saw me she ran and hugged me tightly. She was shaking in fear and crying, like something was trying to get her.
"Hey, Ash… It's alright now. I'm here." I muttered trying to get her to calm down
NORMAL POV
"Z-Zane… I-I don't want to… He's-he's going to get you guys… He's-he's…" Ashley muttered as her voice broke from fear
"Who's 'he'?" Zane asked
"T-that guy with the mask! He-he said… Everyone will be in pain… And I caused it!"
"Is someone taunting you, Ash? If there is…"
"That's not it!!! You don't understand! You can't- you shouldn't duel with them!!! It will cost too much!!!" Ashley snapped at Zane
"It doesn't matter! We care about you! And that goes for everyone you know, now snap out of it." Zane told her
"He's right, Hime-sama." Buster said as he appeared next to them
Ashley was a little shocked by the outburst of the two.
"I-I'm sorry… You're right… I mean about the caring part… But I don't want to cause you pain and trouble…" Ashley admitted as she wiped her tears
"Ash, you're never a pain. Ask anyone, but as for the trouble part… To be honest…You are." Zane admitted and made Ashley laugh
"But so is everyone else once in a while." Zane continued
"Nice save. But thank you, Zane. You're always there for me." Ashley said as she tried to smiled very sweetly
Zane caressed Ashley's cheek pretending to wipe a tear on her face before smiling back and rested his forehead on hers.
"Z-Zane?"
"Yeah?"
"Promise me one thing… If something happens to me and it would require you to risk your life to get me out of trouble…"
"What?!?"
"Well… If you do… DON'T. …Because I can take care of myself and if I die it's my choice! Got it?"
"…" Zane didn't dare to answer and looked away from the Ra
"ZANE!!!" Ashley shouted
"Ok… Ok… Now, can we go and see what Alexis wants?" Zane sighed as he held her hand
"Oh… Just a second… Your blazer…" Ashley said as she ran to her dresser and took out Zane's blazer.
"Ok, now we can go! Come on then!" Ashley exclaimed and pulled Zane to the docks
At the docks Ashley and Zane, who was still holding hands, saw Alexis. Alexis saw the two; Ashley pulling Zane to the docks telling him to hurry while giggling and smiling. Alexis crossed her arms and smiled as she saw the two and approached them.
"I'm sorry to ruin your little… Date?" Alexis interrupted
"Oh! Lexy!" Ashley exclaimed as she let go of Zane
Ashley almost fell in the ocean when Zane grabbed her by the waist and pull her safely to solid ground.
"Thanks, Zane. You surprised me, Lexy!"
"Yeah, I know as much. So… Can you check out the cards that Chazz threw in the ocean?"Alexis asked
Zane kept his hands on her waist as she leaned and looked over the cards. Ashley gasped.
"Those are Bastion's!" Ashley announced
"I thought as much." Alexis concluded
"Chazz… He… Oh dear Ra… He could be expelled for stealing someone's deck!" Ashley panicked as she turned to Zane
"More over… How will Bastion duel?!? I've got to get them!!!" Ashley continued then was about to jump in the ocean, but Zane stopped her.
"Ashley… You don't swim… Right?" Alexis pointed out
"Uh… Um… It's not that I don't swim… I don't know how…" Ashley nervously answered which causes Zane to sigh
"But I don't care! I need to get it for him!"
Ashley shoved Zane's blazer in his arms before pushing him off his feet. Zane fell to the ground and Alexis went to help him up as Ashley made the 2nd attempt to jump anyway.
"Ash!!!" Zane scolded
Another Ra had appeared just in time to pull Ashley back to the ground. Ashley hit the floor with her butt as the guy had splashed into the ocean.
"Raiki!!!" Ashley called
He started to collect the cards for her and in minutes he was out of the water already.
"ARE YOU SUICIDAL?!? YOU CAN'T EVEN SWIM AND YOU WERE PLANNING TO JUMP IN THAT?!?" Raiki started to shout at her while Zane and Alexis watched the fanatically pissed Raiki
"… It was for Bastion…" Ashley muttered softly but even heard her
"I get it ok? You treasure us… But you don't have to try so hard." Raiki sighed
"I-it's just it happened before… To a close friend of mine…"
"Yugi and Exodia…" Buster said but only Ashley could hear him
"I-I couldn't do anything… He lost his cards and never got them back… They were rare ones too…" Ashley continued to explain
Back then I was the one being protected by everyone too… But… I really want to make a difference… I want to stop playing the blind girl… Never knowing the truth… Always the last person to realize… Ashley thought beating herself up
"… But I'm sorry, ok? I just thought… Maybe I could do more… Even just a little more…" Ashley said as she began to weep
"Ash… Hey. Don't cry." Raiki said in a calmer mood
"You... Just get that to Bastion. I'll stay out of the way…"
Raiki hit Ashley lightly on the head.
"Ow..."
"What's up with you?!? You're acting all weird! You're always the one to call us whenever someone we know is dueling. You always made sure everyone was there! And now this?!? Did you and Bastion fight again? If so I knock some sense into him…" Raiki shouted at random
"She's being threatened." Zane finally intervined
"Zane!!!" Ashley scolded
Alexis and Raiki stare at her.
"I-I'm not…" Ashley said nervously
"Explain." Raiki demanded
"Uh-um… A ghost is hunting me… That's all…" Ashley said sheepishly
'Oh's and 'Ah's were said in reply.
"WHAT?!?" Raiki reacted right after
"Hey… You asked…" Ashley said with a smart ass tone
"Let's go and hurry! Bastion will need those!" Ashley exclaimed before anyone would say another word and ran to the duel arena
Ashley, Zane, Raiki and Alexis were at the door. Zane and Alexis went in first, while Ashley was left outside with Raiki.
"Here. You give it… I know you want to." Raiki said to Ashley as he brushed his hair away from his face
"B-but you swam in the ocean for it…"
"And you wanted to drown to get it."
"Shut up… I know you want to give it to Bastion too. Because deep down you two are friends and allies."
"Whatever, Ash… I did it for you and only you." Raiki blush in embarrassment she read him like an open book
"Yeah… Whatever to you too, Rai. You're just embarrassed to admit that you make Bastion irritate a lot because you like hanging out and being friends with him." Ashley replied as she took the cards off his hands
Ashley went inside.
"But in my book you'll always be the greatest friend, Ash." Raiki muttered before following her in
"Bastion! Ash, want to give you back something." Raiki announced as everyone in the room turned and stared at the two Ras
"Raiki was the one who swam for it from the ocean." Ashley added and Raiki scowled at her
Ashley snickered.
"I won't accept any credit because I didn't get it myself." Ashley whispered to Raiki
"Yeah… And Ashley want to drown just to get to them so you better be twice as grateful to her." Raiki announced
"SHE WHAT?!?" Bastion exclaimed as he walked over to the two other Ras in the arena
Ashley laughed nervously as Bastion stomped his way to her.
"I-I… Um… Oh… Shoot… I don't have any smart ass reply to that…" Ashley whispered to Raiki then earning a laugh from him
"You're ok, right?" Bastion asked as he took his deck
"Yeah… Rai pushed me back to the ground before I could even get in the water." Ashley said nervously
"I'd like you to watch my duel today. Raiki too." Bastion embarrassingly said as he flush a light shade of pink
"Eh?" They both chibi-like replied
"Just watch with us!" Jaden exclaimed
"Uh… Ok…" They both said
The duel goes on like in the anime and Bastion eventually won. (A/N: I won't be writing it… Because one it will be exactly the same as the show and two it will make this chapter too long.)
"BASTION WON!!!" Ashley excited shouted as she jumped on him and hugged him, not caring everyone was watching with smiles and grins
"Congrats, the best man won… But I ain't giving you Ash." Raiki teased and made both Ashley and Bastion blush
"Welcome to obelisk blue then, Bastion Misawa!" Crowler said
"Sorry… But I must gratefully decline that." Bastion said
"WHAT?!?" Everyone in the room replied except for Zane, Raiki and Alexis
Ashley was so shock she fell off Bastion.
"Why, Bastion? I thought it was your dream to be number one?" Ashley asked as she stood up
"It still is. But in my opinion, my biggest obstacles to that would be you, Raiki and especially Jaden. So until I defeat you three I won't be satisfied with an obelisk position." Bastion answered
"Then I'm ready whenever you are." Jaden said as he grinned widely
"That goes double for me." Raiki replied as he smirked
"… Yeah… Maybe someday…" Ashley replied as she smiled and hugged him again
"But for now… Welcome back to Ra, Bastion." Ashley said to him then kissed him on the cheek and made him blush intensely
Everyone cheered for Bastion not only did he won, but also because he even received a kiss!
