Chapter Six

Hello readers! I have been inspired and filled with ambition to post another chapter! Thank you AllSpark Princess, Girl Supersonicboy, ChemicalEquinox, and Gust for reviewing. I loved reading your reviews and how supportive you are of the decepticons having their sparkling returned. Thank you everyone who did not review, which is not a bad thing, for reading. Seeing everyone who reads also inspires me.

STARSCREAM RULEZ, a few chapters back you asked me to double space the chapters. I am happy to say your wish has been granted! I have finally figured out how to make reading it easier.

ChemicalEquinox, thank you for reviewing. I love your post but I am unsure how Scarlet has three names. I believe I only call her Scarlet and Solarflare unless you are referring to her first designation given to her by her creators, but I have not given that name yet. :) However, Solarflare's Cybertronian feline guardian's name is originally Azure by the decepticons but then changed to Fifi by the autobots.

Thank you again for the support and now a word from everyone's favorite shiny red con, Knockout!

Knockout: *Holding Solarflare* Solarflare, say hi to everyone.

Solarflare: *cute high pitch voice* Hi!

Knockout: Solarflare and I are here to remind you, Katrina only owns this adorable sparkling and her guardian feline. Nicolette owns the femme Star, Solarflare's adopted caregiver. One last thing, Katrina does not own Transformers only her few characters.

~? (Can You Guess Who) ?~

Three days! Three days missing! Three days of useless cons who can't track anything! Three days the sparkling has been gone.

My most loyal soldier has been checking every camera outside, determined to find any trace or ideal area the sparkling headed in.

My second in command has been in the skies day and night searching. If anything, I would not be surprised if the seeker has flown the skies of the entire plant searching for her yet unable to locate Scarlet. It appears he will not rest until the sparkling is found either. However, if he has done exactly that, then how on Cybertron does a single sparkling who is supposed to be small and easy to watch disappeared and survive the wilderness?

Growling, I lean an army against the armrest of my throne in disbelief as well as anger. I am angry at Knockout for not keeping a closer optic on Scarlet, but I am shocked by how easily she wandered off with that feline. When she returns, rules must be set into play whether she likes them or not. I cannot have her constantly running off and ruining my plans. I was planning an attack for today but now that is on delay. Then there are my top commanders who are becoming mush. Soundwave is on the verge of falling into a stasis as Starscream is ready to have a breakdown. Even Knockout, who is terrified of me at the moment, is about to have a mental breakdown and he's our medic!

That sparkling has wormed her way into my spark and now I will not let her just go. I have plans for her. Scarlet will be found, and then raised in the decepticon ways. And when the time comes, only then will she fulfill the final portion of my plan as my heir. She will take over for me one day and continue down my path.

~Star~

Shifting next to me causes alarms to go off. It is too early to be getting up which automatically wakes me up. Slowly, I sit up to stare at the red and blue mech climbing off our berth. The sparkling is sound asleep, unaware what is going on.

"Optimus, where are you going? It's too early to be up."

My mech stares at me with his dull blue optics filled with exhaustion. "I have received a message from Prowl. There is a meeting being called as I speak. The decepticons have been too quiet which is causing many of us to worry about what they are up to as well as their unusual tactics. Many cons have been spotted roaming the planet as if they are searching for something. I am concerned that they are up to something."

Optimus kisses my helm before walking toward the door. "I will inform you of the meeting's details tonight." On that notion, my strong mech leaves the room only to head toward the conference room.

Sighing, I decide to lie back down and try to catch some more sleep. Before closing my optics, I look over at the small white sparkling to find her sound asleep on her stomach. Beside her is Fifi who must have jumped on the berth after Optimus left. Satisfied that the sparkling wasn't going to roll off in her sleep, I close my optics and offline for a while.

A small high pitch voice next to my audios calls out my name. The high pitch voice is very annoying but nevertheless, it wakes me up. Pulling myself into a sitting position, I smile at the red optic sparkling who grins at me with her cute smile. Although I slept when Optimus left, it was a pitiful sleep.

I pick Solarflare up before making her a bottle of low grade energon. She takes hold of the bottle with her tiny servos while sucking the energon down as if she won't get any more today. I think Ratchet said that was a sign of abuse. Whoever her creators are, that are awful beings and do not deserve to be called creators. When she is done with her breakfast, I take the bottle away.

Solarflare looks at me with a curious look before asking, "Water?" What on Cybertron does she mean-oh water as in a bath! She is so demanding but I believe she will grow out of it at some point. Instead of scolding her, I simply state with a calm demeanor, "You do not need a bath right now Solarflare. You'll get one later tonight." She looks at me with her face all scrunched up before turning her head so she no longer is looking at me. Her chin is tilted up and arms crossed over her small chest. While she throws her silent tantrum, I quietly leave my quarters with the azure blue feline following close behind.

Walking down to the end of the hall, I enter the big med bay. Inside, I find the yellow sparkling that is a few vorns older than Solarflare known as Bumblebee playing a game. By the looks of it, Bumblebee and Ratchet are playing hide-and-seek with Ratchet being the seeker.

Looking up, Bumblebee dashes from hiding under the table toward us. He exclaims in an excited yet hyper voice, "Star! Solarflare!" The white and red medic see's us and smiles. Ratchet asks, "Bringing the seekling for another play date with Bee?"

Bee hugs my leg as I explain, "Not today Ratchet. Ever since Solarflare has been with us, I have not been able to spend a lot of time with her. I decided I will spend a day with her and was wondering if Bee wanted to join us." The yellow sparkling looks up at his adoptive sire begging with his blue optics. The medic sighs, "Alright. You can go spend the day with them but you better listen to Star or no television for a week." The sparkling hugs his sire thanking him over and over.

The medic smiles at his excited son before looking up at me. He tilts his head just the slightest with curiosity. He asks, "Is Solarflare throwing a tantrum?" I nod my helm as the seekling is oblivious to what is going on and to Bee who is trying to get her attention. Shaking his helm, Ratchet shoos us away with a flick of a servo.

Walking through the halls with the pouting white sparkling in my arms, I keep an eye on the yellow sparkling next to me so he does not fall behind. He soon asks me, "Where are we going?" Bumblebee struggles to carry his box of blocks but manages. "Out of the med bay for sure. Does the rec room sound like a good place to play?" A smile breaks out on his face.

As soon as we arrive in the room, Fifi stands guard at the door, well sleep guard at the door while I set Solarflare on the ground. Just realizing Bee was there, she tackles him for a hug calling out his name. In no time Solarflare takes off running towards the couch and attempts to climb on it with the yellow sparkling following.

Oh joy, looks like she has reached her climbing stages already. Ratchet did say due to her unusual upbringing, she will be hitting all the stages a normal sparkling her age would have hit a vorn or two ago.

Grinning, I set Bumblebee up on the couch and ask the sparkling, "Do you want up on the couch?" She repeats a few of the words I say immediately, "Up couch!" Chuckling, I set her gently on the couch and watch as the two sparklings talk, well Bumblebee teaches her how to say some words. The determination I saw in his eyes yesterday must have to do with getting Solarflare to speak. She already has been picking up words like it is math to her. We never did give her back the datapad. Oh well.

Laying on the floor, I close my optics to take a short nap while staying on high alert for the sparklings. A while later, I wake up and realize how quiet the room is; too quiet for my liking. Sitting up in a rush that would cause the room to spin for some bots, I look around the room to locate the sparkling. I find the yellow sparkling since he sticks out. Not seeing the white one, which should be an easy color, I go to ask Bumblebee where she is when he points somewhere.

Looking where he is pointing, I find a certain white seekling climbing the piles of storage crates, at least half the way up. Jumping to my pedes, I exclaim, "Solarflare! No climbing!"

Red optics turn to look at me as if I said something but she did not hear only to go back to ignoring my command. Stubborn sparkling, she will be the death of me. Growling with frustration of her climbing when I told her no, I storm over to her and pluck Solarflare off the crates.

Solarflare looks up at me, a curious gaze on her helm. Sternly, I tell her, "I said no climbing. It's dangerous and you could have got hurt." Then her gaze turns into confusion but I know better than to let that get to me. "That sweet and innocent look is not going to work. You understand Optimus and Ratchet so I know you heard and understood me." Just then, she gets this look on her face that scared me for a second. It was a mixture of anger and I hate you look. That look reminds me something a decepticon would give-" Solarflare jumps out of my servos and lands on her butt but has no injuries or fits. Instead, she gets up and runs toward Bee.

Giving up, I ask, "Bumblebee, did you bring something to play with?" He nods his head and pulls out a tiny box filled with blocks. I watch as Solarflare crawls under the couch when Bumblebee offers a block to her. Sighing, a habit I am beginning to pick up from Optimus and can understand why when it comes to this sparkling, I coax Solarflare out from under the couch and sit on the floor with her on my lap.

I take a block and show it to her. "You can play with it. No one will hurt you for playing with it?" She looks at me scared then at the block I am offering her. Hesitantly, the small hand reaches out and takes the block before looking at me. I take a block and put it on top of another block. "Go on. Put that block on top of the others." Solarflare silently crawls off my lap and sits in front of the small tower we have begun creating before looking at me before putting it on the others and look right at me.

I smile, "Good job Solarflare. How about we try it again?" A small smile finds its way onto her adorable face, red eyes full of praise and happiness. She turns and picks up a block waiting for Bee to finish placing his on the tower.

I smile as the children build, finally happy that Solarflare is playing like a normal child. I don't know what happened to her before in her life or what caused her creators to treat her awfully, but I do know one thing, at the Autobot base, Solarflare will be treated like a normal sparkling should be. She will be loved and taught how to play like all sparklings and will receive no abuse. I am unsure if she was abused before, but I assume she was from the way she reacts to things.

A few hours go by before Bumblebee states, "Star, I'm hungry." The white sparkling chirps her own response, "Hungry Star! Hungry!" Chuckling, I have them clean up. Once both of the sparklings have picked up the blocks, Solarflare decides she is going to carry the box but ends up toppling over before she can even pick up the box. "Better yet, why don't we leave those here to come back later and play with?" The yellow sparkling nods his head before placing the box on a shelf and running after me with Solarflare on Fifi. Fifi lets the other sparkling on and walks quickly to keep up with me making it seem like she was running for the sparklings.

Upon arriving at the med bay, Ratchet immediately plucks Bumblebee off of Fifi and sets him down in his lap with his energon. Optimus just happened to be in the room talking with Ratchet at the same time. The white sparkling slides off of the feline's back landing on her bottom. Solarflare then runs toward Optimus demanding, "Opy up! Hungry! Hungry!"

He looks down at the little sparkling before picking her up. Optimus cradles Solarflare in his arm, "Hello to you too Solarflare." He pulls out a bottle and gives it to her. She grabs it and downs her energon. About half way through, she nods off exhausted. I smile at the two of them; happy Optimus has finally got the hang of taking care of a sparkling.

~Solarflare's Dream~

Red optics open reveal a simple room. Two familiar sparklings look up from their blocks and wave at her! They beckon her over and she obeys. Soon all three are playing with the bright colorful blocks chattering away in clicks. A femme comes in wondering what all the noise was about. The dark purple femme freezes when she sees the femme seekling interacting with the other two mech seeklings. She calls out to her bondmate who rushes in as she plucks her boys off the floor. "I thought you said she wouldn't play with them! Do something! We can't have that-that THING playing with our precious sparklings!" The black mech nods his helm as his bondmate takes the two mech siblings out of the house. He walks over to the little femme seekling who has no idea what is going on or why her creators are mad at her. Before she knew what was happening, the sparkling was beat. She cries out in pain calling out for her silbings through their bond or her caregiver but she cannot find the bonds or feel them. The beatings continue as well as the pain before she is finally thrown in a cabinet. Her creator locks the door from the outside, "How many times do I have to tell you, you do NOT play with those two! You are disgusting and lower than them. You have should be lucky that I did not kill you!"

~Optimus~

My sparkmate was telling me about how she got our adopted sparkling to finally play with blocks when a high pitch scream from in my arm cuts Star off from talking. I quickly look at the sparkling and try to wake her but it does not work. The white seekling is screaming nonstop and in pain. "Solarflare, wake up little one, you are safe-"

Solarflare begins to flail around, little arms trying to get away from someone as she screams, "NO! NO! NO HURT! NO!" The azure blue Cybertronian feline jumps to her feet and bounces over to us in a hurry. She looks up at the sparkling with worry.

The white and red mech places a rudely awaken yellow sparkling on the ground before coming over. "Hold her still Optimus!" I hold the screaming sparkling that is still asleep the best I can as Ratchet takes a needle and inserts it in her small arm. Pulling the needle out, the sparkling begins to calm down however, her entire frame goes limb.

"Optimus, you have to do something about this! I have only heard sparklings scream like that if they were abused! She's suffering from a nightmare and that was the second one since Star brought her here! Something must be done! You cannot allow her to continue to relive traumatizing memories in her sleep like that anymore!"

As much as I hate to admit it, my old friend is right. I have seen many traumatized bot act just as Solarflare has today when suffering from a nightmare of the past or anything similar to it. I look up at Star, concern in my eyes as well as hers. We both know something has to be done, but neither of us want to do it.

Whoo hoo! This is my longest chapter yet and I am very happy to say, I cannot wait to start the next chapter! Thank you everyone for reading this sparkling story. Please review and answer this question:
