Natsu stopped and turned back to her "what!?" He shouted.
Lucy took a step back "n-Natsu" Lucy stuttered; Natsu took a deep breath as he brushed his hand through his pink locks of hair "look...I'm sorry for shouting I...I just...I'm just a bit tired" Natsu said with sorrowful eyes.
"It's okay Natsu" Lucy said as she caught up with him and they continued to walk. They walked in silence for a while
"hey luce" Natsu said not even bothering to look at her
"yeah?" Lucy replied turning to look at him
"you and Blondie...you liked each over right" Natsu asked looking away from her completely "umm yeah of course we're friends" Lucy replied with confusion in her voice "no I mean...don't worry about it" he said *sigh*
"hey Natsu" Lucy began. "Yeah" Natsu replied curiously "that scarf your wearing who gave it to you?" Natsu looked at her and grinned "my dad, he was the best and the strongest" Natsu said with a sense of pride
"was?" Lucy asked confused. "Yeah, I don't know where he is at the moment but I will find him" he said as determination crossed his face "what's his name?" Lucy asked "Igneel, Igneel dragneel"
"well even I have to admit it, he has a pretty cool name" Lucy said with a light giggle. "What about your dad, you said he..."
"Yeah, well he wasn't the best of parents but... I loved him. He left me this" Lucy pulled out a ruby necklace from around her neck and on it was a message that was so small you could hardly read it 'you are my definition of love'
"what was his name?" Natsu asked.
"Jude, jude heartfilia." And just like that the silence returned
"hey you, gaji and Wendy are siblings right? So why haven't I ever met you before?" Lucy asked "oh well we're not really related, you see Wendy and gaji's parents also disappeared and gramps took us in and because Wendy was so little she believed we were her brothers when gramps told her so we just play along."
"gramps?" Lucy asked "oh well he's the head of the school but some people call him gramps" Natsu explained. "then when schools finally over I'm out of here, I'm gonna run away" Natsu said with a determined smile
"what?why?" Lucy asked a bit shocked "I'm gonna find Igneel"
"but what about your friends here and Wendy?" Lucy asked still in shock.
"Well I'll come back one day. After I find him" Natsu replied matter-of-factly "what if you don't find him?" Natsu stayed silent, leaning his head down slightly to cover his eyes with his bangs. "I will find him" Natsu mumbled "I will" he repeated.
"So Luce where do you live?" Natsu asked changing his emotions like a switch 'bipolar?' Lucy thought.
"On earthland" she replied with a smug smirk "where on earthland?" He continued "magnolia" she giggled.
"*sigh* where in magnolia?" Natsu asked getting slightly annoyed
"in the Milky Way"
"YOU JUST GOT FURTHER AWAY!" Natsu boomed.
"So what? It's true isn't it?" She laughed
"I don't know" Natsu mumbled
"shut up pinky!" Shouted in his face
"not my fault your so weird!" He retorted.
Lucy stopped where she was and looked at him with shock and fear "IM NOT WEIRD!" She screamed before running off.
Lucy's POV
That idiot of all the things he has to call me why 'weird' that's the word that brings back memories. I hate him,I hate him, I hate him, I hate him, I hate him!
Why of all the words he could have used that one word.
The word they used to call me. They used to sing that little rhyme 'Little princess Lucy, is such a giant wussy, she is such a weirdo, that's why her dad went go go' stupid, stupid,stupid,stupid,stupid I hate them all.
Why was it me they made fun of, me they laughed at, me they bullied, me who cried. I don't get why I'm always a weirdo to everyone.
3 years they did that to me and now I hate it any time someone says the word. If probably still be bullied if it wasn't for stingy, he stood up to everyone for me, that's why I had friends back then because of sting.
Natsu's POV
What the fuck did I do?
we just became friends and now she hates me and I don't even know why! What is it with her? She's so... So... So...WEIRD!
It's the only word that describes her and she hates me for calling her it. God why do girls have to be so hard?!
Why can't they be simple and straight forward like men or just suck it up. Girls are just so emotional sometimes it's so annoying.
*sigh* I guess I have to apologise tomorrow. Great I can't wait.
