Castiel watched her as he stayed as far away as possible. Roxie wouldnt let him anywhere near her. He was just to sit there, and search for something that could do this to Amy. He then had to search for a cure. He turned his attention to Dean. Dean was staring at Amy and he was concentrating so hard on keeping it cool, not showing the fear that ran through him. Castiel needed to protect him. He needed to protect them all.

Roxie turned and frowned " Trenchcoat, i know Deans gorgeous but lets not forget my daugthers on her deathbed and you have to wait at least six months before you make a move " she remarked sarcastically before turning back to the sofa. Castiel frowned slightly " im afraid I dont under-"

Bobby cut him off "she means stop staring and get back to work on whats made Amy ill"Bobby scowled and looked over at Sam." go make a food run,Rate we`re going it`ll all be gone before the end of the day" Sam nodded and Dean chucked him the keys to the Impala the same time Bobby chucked him the keys to the grabbed at the Impala keys and the Truck keys hit him in the head.
"OW" Sam complained. He was ignored and he set off grumbeling. Mary smiled after him.

Amy sat in her room and drummed her pencil against her sociology textbook. She couldnt just couldnt focus on the words. Jake had gone out on a hunt and her mother had made sure that information came to Amy to late. So now Amy had to sit and wait for him to come home, because she was to late to join in on the fun. She had to wait for him to come round, show her he was fine, that he wasnt dead or maimed or something her fantasies Jake would come home and wrap her in his arms, kissing her and telling her that he missed her and that the next hunt they would go, just them. In another fantasy Jake would be injured and Amy would have to patch him up. They would be alone, in a small little room and he would have to take his shirt off so she could get to work. At the end of it they would both look into each others eyes and then all clothes fell away...

Amy sat up straight, blinking a few times. She had been sitting there, head on her fist for the last hour, just staring straight ahead. Her mind just wouldnt let her sleep, so she had decided to try and study. Now even that was needed to stop this infatuation with Jake. Thats what this was, an infatuation. He was her boss, both on and off a hunt. She couldnt afford to have these feelings. They could cost her her life.

She sighed and stood up, heading to the kitchen. The marbletop counter was always cool and a nice cold drink might help her a little. She was to hot, One of the kids had broken boiler so everything was hot. She reached up for a glass that was on the top shelf, stretching so her top rode up slightly. "here" she heard someone whisper in her ear and reach up to grab the glass for her. She slid away quickly, reaching for the knife on the counter, before realising it was Dean. The Winchester had his lips pressed together to stop him from laughing at her. He held out the glass to her " easy Warrior Princess" He joked " just trying to here to rape and pillage " he joked again and held his hands up in the universal peace gesture.

"not the time Dean" she sighed and shuved the knife back onto the counter.

"yeah i heard" Deans smirk turned into a sympathetic smile " your boyfriends left for a hunt without you."

"hes NOT " she growled before sighing " My Boyfriend."

Dean went to say something else as Amy took the glass and poured some orange juice but she drowned him out. The doorbell snapped her back to attention just as Dean was saying something about friday night " yeah" she agreed with absolutely no idea what he was taking about. She was going to leave the door- they could come back later- until she heard someone singing "EVVVVERRY RROOOSSSEEE HAS ITS THORN" she heard and dropped her glass. " hes back" she grinned and ran to the door, jumping over the broken glass and leaving Dean staring after her with a small smile.

Amy threw the door open to reveal a small group of men and one woman, ranging from 17 to 25. At the Head of them was a tall , grinning Jake, in a black leather jacket with his gorgeous black hair all ruffeled , a small cut above his eye. He wrapped her into a huge hug "hey there Little Wolf" he used a fond nickname from when they were both younger. " hey there Alpha wolf" she used her own nickname and heard him chuckle. She pulled back and moved the door so they could all come in. The woman winked at her and Amy frowned slightly. She knew her from somewhere... " Lexi come look at this!" one of the younger Hunters called her over to the display case of weapons that they had "you see that machete there? thats the same one Amys father used to kill 3 vampire Coven leaders. He then used that same knife to kill over one hundred werewolves, Because its made of silver." The young hunter praised and Amy realised this hunter was Jamie garfield. He coudnt have been more then 18, yet here he was with Jake on a hunt that required more then 2 hunters. This Lexi was a old FBI agent that Amys dad had run into once Amy realised with a jolt. But there was something she was missing...Blurry memories...She blinked a few times and frowned.

She saw Dean from the corner of her eye, checking out lexi. She rolled her eyes and looked back at him only to find that this time he was looking at her with...concern almost. He then glanced over at Jake and she followed his gaze. She felt a pain in her stomach, an ache that was growing . Lexi was now pressing against Jakes side and he was holding her hand... Amy was never good at relationships but she saw what was coming so clearly. She wouldn't be going on a hunt with Jake alone again. She would always be there, getting them into places with her credentials and getting two different motel rooms so that they could have some `private time`. The thought made Amy sick and she looked away. She saw Dean walking over and whisper to her " follow my lead" as he looped his arm around her waist. " Ams you feeling ok?" he said loudly enough for everyone to hear.

Jake immediatly turned to look at her and frowned " Your really pale. Have you eaten today?" he moved over to her and trained to ead her to the sofa an away from Dean but Dean woudnt have it " i think you need to go upstairs Ams." Dean smiled slightly " you haven't been sleeping lately. I think its finally caught up with you and you need all the strength for cheer practise tommorow" he teased and Amy glared at him but nodded " yeah im just tired. Im fine, Jake you know what rooms." she said and walked slowly towards the staircase but Dean was having that. He followed her and easy picked her up in his arms, carrying her bridal style. " nice try. Im not having you falling downstairs and breaking your neck before our date on Friday"

Amy looked up at him with a glare. She glanced down at Jake who had made his face emotionless and Amy felt that ache turn to anger. After all she had done for him, after all the times he had called her his little sister, when some jumped up jackass said that they were going on a date, was carrying her and holding her, he wasnt going to say ANYTHING? show ANY emotion? " asshole" she muttered as they got to the top of the stairs and heard Dean chuckle "youve called me worse." Amy didnt want to correct him and tell him she was talking about Jake.

"Asshole" Dean heard Amy mutter and chuckled. Even when she was passed out on a sofa she still managed to sound adorable. " youve called me worse" he told her as he held her hand. That was always his response when she called him an asshole. Every since they were teenagers and he had carried her up the stairs so she wouldn't have to look at Jake with that girl anymore. Thinking of Jake made him dude was a jackass. He had felt sick to the stomach when he saw the way Amy looked at him. But she had turned her affection to Dean for some weird unknown reason and for that he thanked God, wherever that asshole was. He refused to believe that cupid when he said that Amy was always destined for Dean. He didn't want to think that Amy only loved him because some dude in a diaper made her. He wanted to believe that Amy loved him the way that he loved her, without any interference from celestial beings.

He thought ,sometimes, that maybe that was to much to ask. He saw how other Hunters looked at her, how it had moved from respect for the family to respect for her. People followed her. She could convince a room of people to fight, to stand by her. She was a leader. He saw the way random guys looked at her as well and wondered why she picked him. But then sometimes, when they were laying in bed, he looked down and saw the teenage girl that carried a knife around with her, even to prom, the girl that carved protective symbols into the kids, both theirs and the ones she had grown up with, beds so that they would be safe and realised why they were together- it was because no one else understood them as well as they understood each other.
