Alice: So we're somewhat home. I mean we're in the hospital in town but at least we're halfway home.

Yuki: That is true. So D-nee-san what's this chapter on?

D: Well, this chapter is just on Aly-chan and Baka-Iemitsu. With just a bit of family fluff.

Alice: You don't like the old man very much do you?

D: Nope! He's number three on my most hated list.

Alice: Number three huh?

Yuki: Whose number one and two?

D: Byakuran and Levi.

Alice: Why Levi?

D: He's ugly and he hurt Lambo. He deserves to die a slow and painful death.

Yuki: Why Byakuran?

D: He's a creepy bastard who not only caused so much destruction in all of those parallel worlds, killed multiple innocent people and killed Tsu-kun, but he has forever ruined marshmallows for me.

Alice: Wow.

Yuki: How exactly has he 'ruined marshmallows' for you?

D: Every time I see a freakin' marshmallow, I see his stupid happy face! It pisses me off to no end!

Alice: *sweatdrop* okay? D-aneki doesn't own KHR. Only me and Yuki.

Yuki: *sweatdrop* Happy reading!

Chapter 10 – Awake

Alice's POV

Ugh...

What the hell hit me?

Oh that's right...

The floor.

I turned my head slightly to the side and slowly opened my eyes. I blinked a few times to adjust to the light. Once I was, I opened them more.

Everything was a bit blurry but I guess that's 'cause I just woke up.

"Thank goodness. You finally woke up." A voice said.

I snapped my head towards the voice and my eyes widened.

It was Iemitsu!

Aw, crap!

"I know you just woke up, but we need to ask you some questions since you're the only one awake." He said.

At first I was confused, but then I remembered my twin.

"Oh no! Yuki!" I whispered loudly. I was so tried and dehydrated that I couldn't even yell.

"Don't worry she's fine." He assured me.

"Where is she?" I asked.

"She's in the bed next to you." He said pointing to the bed by the window.

I looked and saw Yuki fast asleep in said bed.

I sighed in relief. "Yokata..."

"Before we start would you like anything?"

"Some water please."

"Alright." He picked up a water pitcher and cup that was resting the night table. He poured the water into the cup then helped me drink it.

I drank the water in three seconds flat. It's a miracle I didn't choke. When I finished, Iemitsu took the cup away from me and placed it along with the pitcher down on the table.

"Feel better?" He asked.

"Hai..."

"Good. Now as I has mentioned before, I want to ask you some questions. First, what's your name?"

"Alice."

"Last name?"

"...Sawada."

His eyes widened slightly for a split second. "What's your relationship to Yukiko?"

"I'm her twin sister."

"What?"

I sighed. "Look. I'm sure your buddy in the white coat had taken some blood from us to run some tests and discovered that our DNA is similar, right?"

They nodded.

"Then let me tell you this. I was an experiment that was created from Yuki's DNA, a clone. She was kidnapped by some scientists from the Estraneo family. In other words...The mafia." I explained.

His face was priceless! If I wasn't so tired and hungry, I would had busted a gut laughing.

"She-she knows?" He asked.

I nodded. "She's a lot smarter than you or anyone else gives her credit for."

"I was hoping to keep her from the truth."

"Yeah, well that didn't happen. Now do you want me to tell you about what happened or not?"

"Please tell me." He said. "And don't worry about the doctor. He's an old friend of mine."

I nodded and started to tell them during the two months I was there.

"...And that brings us to our current situation." I said. "Any questions?"

"Yu-chan has been missing for three months. What happened that first month?" Iemitsu asked.

"To honest, I don't know." Looking over at her.

That was a lie.

I did know.

I had all of Yuki's memories.

I saw when she met Mukuro and his friends, when she met the Arcobaleno even when she met Checker Face both times.

While I was asleep I even saw what happened when the boys and I left her behind at the lab.

"I see..."

Silence...

"How would you like to be part of the family?" He asked, breaking the silence of the room.

I slowly turned my head to look at him like he suddenly grew 2 more heads.

"W-What?" I managed it say.

"How would you like to be a Sawada? Biologically, you are my daughter. Whether you're a clone or not, you are Yu-chan's sister. So I figured that since you wanted to stay with her, you would like to be officially part of the family." He clarified.

I was in shock.

Someone- who wasn't Yuki -wanted me, a clone.

And he was inviting me to be apart of his family no less!

Yes I wanted to stay with Yuki but I didn't think that this would happen...

"So? How 'bout it?" Iemitsu asked, breaking me out of my thoughts.

I felt tears fill my eyes, but refused to let them fall.

"Hai. Hai, Papa..."

He smiled. "Welcome to the family. And don't worry about Nana, I'll talk to her about your 'little situation', alright?"

I nodded sleepily, my exhaustion finally catching up to me.

"Now get some rest. You'll both be home soon, okay?"

I nodded again.

"Oyasumi, Aly-chan"

"Oyasumi, Papa..." I welcomed the darkness called sleep wholeheartedly.

3rd POV

Had Iemitsu looked over at Yukiko's "sleeping" form, he would have seen the slight smile that had graced her lips.

'Arigato Papa...' She thought before joining her sister in the world of dreams.

D: That's it! Chapter is done! Fina-freaking-ly! I've benne so busy that I haven't been able to update this or any of my other stories as much as I wanted to.

Alice: At least you got this chapter done.

Yuki: Yeah but now she has almost ten more chapters to finish writing.

D: *in the corner of woe* I'm never gonna get my stories done!

Alice: *sweatdrop* Moron...

D: Leave me alone! *cries*

Alice: *sweatdrop* Yuki! Do something!

Yuki: *sigh* If you get out of that corner and stop crying, I'll give you a pair of Kyoya's old blood covered tonfas.

D: *stands up, clear from depression* Okay!

Alice: What the hell?!

Yuki: *sigh* Please review!
