To everyone who has ever liked my story and has ever supported me, I would like to say thank you. Okay, before I start off with my new chapter, let me answer everyone's questions. The Christian Jedi, I assure you that the Team won't be getting beaten so easily and so much. They'll start to improve. Robin Rani, thank you for letting me know about the errors in Chapter 3. I can get how the talking with Artemis, Ahsoka, M'gann, Lux and Aqualad could be confusing, but that's just how I do things. Besides, I also got Cad Bane's personality perfectly from Chapter 7. Now that I have answered everyone's questions, I'll move onto the new chapter. Please feel free to review, rate, and as always, be sure to enjoy!
Chapter 19: Fall from Grace

Queen Bee stood in her quarters as she spoke with the Light. "It would seem that this ORDER is much more of a nuisance to us as the Team." She stated. Lex Luthor nodded and sighed. "I regret to inform you that I was one to fall under the control of the ORDER days ago." The billionaire meekly stated. Vandal Savage sighed as he looked to the rest of the members of the Light on the other screens. "For now, we must be cautious about ORDER. Our meeting is adjourned." Vandal Savage ordered. The Light all nodded as they all left the meeting.
As Queen Bee hung up, she sighed in exhaustion. Just then, there was a knock on the door. "Come in." Queen Bee ordered. At that moment, Psimon walked into the room. He had a lot of wrappings around his head due to Silver Martian's attack on him, but he still had to play out his role for the Light. He sighed as he looked to the dictator. "You have a relative here to see you." He informed. Queen Bee's eyes widened as she looked to Psimon. "Bring this relative in." She ordered. Psimon nodded as he walked to the door. After hearing a couple of whispers, Queen Bee saw a dark-skinned girl with an orange and white T-shirt, as well as denim jeans, walked into the room. Queen Bee smiled at the site of her relative and stood up. "Alakshmi, you've returned." She rejoiced. As Alakshmi entered the room, she smiled sinisterly as she approached her aunt.
Gotham Academy 0813 hours EST
Serra Keto and Artemis Crock both walked up to Gotham Academy in their school attire as a new day started. Serra started to feel her dress and groan. "This hurts as much lightning is able to hurt a Jedi!" she remarked. Artemis looked to her and chuckled. "Don't worry; you'll learn to get used to it." She replied. At that moment, Bette Kane walked up to the two girls. "Hi, Serra, I'm Bette. I'm to be your new student liaison." Bette explained. Serra looked at her from top to bottom and scoffed. "With this coming from you, I don't need someone to teach me how to act!" she remarked. Bette scoffed back and looked to Artemis. "Where did she come from?" she asked skeptically. Artemis sighed and shrugged. "She's a transfer student." Artemis explained. Just then, Dick Grayson ran up to Serra and took out a camera. "We'll laugh about this someday." He explained. Before he could even close the shutter, Serra grunted and flipped him over her back and onto the ground. Bette and Artemis gasped at Dick when they saw him land. He started to feel his neck as he looked back to Serra, holding the camera. She twirled it around in her hand before placing it into her bag. The Boy Wonder in disguise scoffed and wiped something off of his cheek before heading to class. Unbeknownst to any of them, Prowler and Falcon, both wearing undercover attire, watched and narrowed their eyes at Serra suspiciously.
Artemis groaned as the rest of the day went on for her and Serra. Serra couldn't help but use the camera she stole to take pictures of the other students. At lunch, Serra went to get some food, but there was a line of about eleven students in her way. Artemis watched intriguingly as Serra waved her hand at them. "You will let me through." She commanded. The students nodded as they cleared a path for the Shan. Artemis gasped and started to squeeze her skirt as Dick watched in angst. Prowler and Falcon, both under the names of Paula Bennett and Ferris Calico, watched with more interest and suspicion as Serra got plenty of food and let the students that were before her come after her. Artemis just groaned with suspense as the day just went on and on with Serra now in her life.
Mount Justice 1536 hours
Recognized Robin B-0-1, Artemis B-0-7 Serra Keto B-1-3 the female computer announced as the three entered the Cave. Ahsoka and M'gann, wearing a beret on her head, were waiting for them happily, but their smiles lessened when they saw Artemis hide her head away and Robin feel his back in pain. "Did you get in a fight?" Ahsoka asked anxiously. Robin grunted and clenched his fist as he turned around to face her. "Let's just say that I took a trip into next fall." He painfully joked around. Ahsoka looked to M'gann and raised an eyebrow, in which M'gann just replied by shrugging.
Finally, after a while, Artemis sighed and ran up to Ahsoka, pulling on her shirt. "Get Serra out of my life, PLEASE!" she begged. Ahsoka widened her eyes as she pulled the archer off. "Whoa, what happened, did she get hurt? Were you embarrassed?" she asked. Artemis squirmed and started to feel the back of her hair, which was still cut off by Serra on the Team's first encounter with each other. "She's impossible to live with!" she drawled nervously. Ahsoka's eyes widened as she ran up to the archer. "I mean, have you seen what she's done to my hair?!" she asked. Ahsoka raised an eyebrow as she looked to M'gann once again. "Come to think of it, how come you are wearing a beret anyways?" she asked. M'gann sighed as she took off her beret to reveal that her hair was still trimmed from when Serra first arrived. "I forgive Serra for it, but I just couldn't stand to be seen like this in school." M'gann explained. Zatanna then walked over with her hair still trimmed as well. "I'm cool with her, but not everything is going well with her around." She stated. Ahsoka sighed as she walked after Serra with the three girls looking to each other and sighing. "This will take some time to grow back." Artemis remarked. The three girls nodded as they looked to Ahsoka.
As Serra was walking up to the training circle to stretch out, Wally ran over and walked with her. "So, Serra, what do you say we have a rematch? You know, since I was unfairly beaten yesterday." He flirted with her. Serra scoffed and rolled her eyebrows while growling a bit. "How about you come here and I give you a reward?" she asked. Kid Flash's eyes widened with surprise as he walked up to her and closed his eyes. He was expecting a kiss, but all of a sudden, he was punched in the face and thrown to the ground. Wally grunted as he soon opened up his eyes to see a smiling Serra. "For a speedster, you talk as fast as you run." She quipped. Wally growled and dashed towards her. Serra smirked and tripped him by placing her foot beside her. Wally yelled as he was thrown throughout the hall of the Cave and into the Training Room. The Team all looked as Wally was sent flying and tumbling into the room, and then all oohed as he landed face flat into the wall.
Serra smirked and walked into the training circle to activate her lightsabers. She started to perform various lightsaber techniques as Ahsoka watched with the rest of the Team. Wally got up and groaned. "You know, now that I look at it as a whole, it's no wonder you left the Jedi." He remarked. Ahsoka groaned and looked back to him sternly. "Never insult Serra." She threateningly stated. Kid Flash started to stutter before turning away to scoff. Ahsoka just smirked as she watched Serra train. Someone's gotta talk some sense into her. She thought to herself.
Later on, Ahsoka walked with Serra through the halls of Mount Justice. "I suggest you take it a bit easy on the Team." Ahsoka suggested to her best friend. Serra scoffed and looked up. "Tell me, how are you able to live with yourself when you're in this place?" she asked. Ahsoka stuttered and raised an eyebrow in confusion. "I don't understand, Serra. I'm doing fine here. It may be different, but I feel at home somehow with the Team." Ahsoka explained. Serra sighed as they stopped walking. She turned to Ahsoka and shook her head in disagreement. "Ahsoka, I want you to come back to the Jedi Order." Serra stressed, but Ahsoka just sighed. "I know, but I don't know if the Jedi want me. I'm fine here." She reiterated. Serra clenched her fist and gritted her teeth. "Ahsoka, I understand that this is a place you're comfortable with, but to me, it just seems like an illusion." She stated. Ahsoka lifted an eyebrow as she leaned in closer. "You think you're in a haven, but this place is more like a Hell." Serra remarked.
Before the conversation could go on any longer, M'gann flew up to them. "Hey, Serra, I wanted to give you your clothes back." She stated happily. Serra's eyes widened with shock as Ahsoka took a step back. "You took my clothes?!" she asked. M'gann gulped as she hovered backwards into the kitchen, where the rest of the Team was. "T-they seemed pretty battered and torn, s-so I decided to fix them up." She explained nervously. Kaldur walked up to the two girls as Serra leaned in closer. "It's been fitted with everything you shall require for missions with us." The Atlantean stated. Serra scoffed and grabbed her garments angrily. As she inspected it, she couldn't help but notice a new feature on it. There was a symbol of the Jedi Order on the front of her shirt, which was annoying the Jedi very much. "What is this?" she demanded. M'gann straightened herself up before explaining to Serra, "It's the Stealth Tech feature. The Team all has them to blend in on covert operation missions." Aqualad, Kid Flash, Artemis and Ahsoka stepped up as the five of them demonstrated how they worked. Serra raised an eyebrow at how their appearances changed from light to dark. Serra looked to hers as she pressed the button. M'gann smiled as she watched her clothing turn from brown to black, but Serra remained stoic.
After seeing what the new feature was capable of doing, she pressed the button again before tossing the new clothing onto the couch. M'gann gasped as Serra scoffed. "I don't need or want any kind of features included onto my clothing, especially since they were taken without my consent." Serra spat. Miss Martian stepped back as Serra sighed heavily and pointed a finger to her clothing. "Put it back the way it was." She ordered. M'gann stood in shock as Ahsoka walked up to her. "I-I'm sure she didn't mean it." Ahsoka reasoned, but M'gann started to clench her skirt. She took a deep breath before looking to the Jedi Garment and quickly reversed it back to the way it was. She looked to Serra and growled. "Are you happy now?" she asked angrily. Serra scoffed as she threw Ahsoka an exact copy of her garments. "Stealth Tech doesn't fit the Jedi. Change back and we'll all be ready to head back to the Jedi Order." She stated. Ahsoka sighed and went to change. Aqualad looked to her with disbelief as he crossed his arms, but Ahsoka shrugged. "It will just be temporary, I promise." She reasoned.
The rest of the Team nodded as a timer went off. M'gann gasped as she went to the oven. Serra looked back and raised an eyebrow. "I've got cookies for everybody!" M'gann exclaimed out loud. Ahsoka smiled as she walked over with the rest of the Team, as well as Jaybo, Lux and Saw, to get some of M'gann's special cookies. As the Martian passed out a cookie to everyone, she looked to Serra and pouted as she took the tray back. "I don't give cookies to rude people." She retorted. Serra smirked as she Force-Pulled a cookie to herself. M'gann gasped as Serra took a bite. Wally looked to her and chuckled. "You're gonna love them!" he stated with a full mouth. Serra tasted the cookie before placing the other half of it onto the tray. "I'm not sure. I can't decide whether I should continue to eat it or to dispose of it." She remarked. Miss Martian, Kid Flash and Superboy all gasped as Serra walked away with a scoff. M'gann, Artemis and Zatanna all narrowed their eyes at the Jedi with angst as Ahsoka sighed. "She just needs time to adjust." Ahsoka explained. Zatanna walked to her and pointed her wand at her chest. "She'd better, or else I'm gonna give her a pain in the rear!" she threateningly remarked. Ahsoka sighed as she walked after Serra.
Before Ahsoka could leave the room, though, she started to hear voices in her head. As she silently gasped, she narrowed her eyes back to the Team. "If Serra's gonna be on the Team, I don't mind abandoning her to the Shadows." Robin stated through the psychic link. "You have no idea how obnoxious she is!" Artemis mentally scoffed. "Do you think YOU'VE got it bad? Aside from Enola, Serra Keto just tells me I'm good for defense and not offense!" Raquel exclaimed. As they were talking, Ahsoka placed a hand on her hip annoyingly. "Just because you can talk through the mind doesn't mean that the Force can't allow me to hear you!" Ahsoka exclaimed out loud. The Team all squirmed and looked to Ahsoka nervously. She let out a sigh as she began to make her way towards Serra's direction. Just then, Batman's voice echoed throughout the Cave. "Serra Keto, report to Mission Room immediately." Batman ordered. Ahsoka sighed as she looked to the rest of the Team in a lot of exasperation. Some of them started to rub the backs of their necks as M'gann just left to go to her room.
In the Mission Room of the Cave, Batman looked to Serra sternly through the BatGlare. "I don't think you quite understand how we operate around here." He stated monotonously. All Serra did was scoff as Batman pulled up a screen of her in school. "You nearly blew your cover at Gotham Academy, something that does not pass for the Justice League or the Team in any manner." Batman began, causing Serra to roll her eyes. He then brought up a holoscreen of many of Serra's actions in the Cave earlier. "You refused Stealth Technology, threw the Team off, and have acted on your own agenda." The Dark Knight concluded. Serra scoffed once again, much to the Dark Knight's annoyance, and placed a hand on her hip. "It's not my agenda; it's the Code of the Jedi." She retorted. Batman looked to her with a blank expression and sighed deeply. "We may have let you come to the Team on Ahsoka's behalf, but there's still a lot for you to learn." He replied back. Serra smirked as she walked up to the Dark Knight.
Outside, the rest of the Team waited for Serra as Ahsoka and M'gann came to rejoin them. "How's Serra doing in there?" Ahsoka asked. Robin scoffed and pointed his thumb towards the room. "She's with Batman, which means that she won't last long." He remarked, almost sounding too happy. Just then, there was a loud punch sound coming from the room, which was followed by Batman grunting. The Team looked to each other as they all ran in to see what was happening in the mission room.
Inside of the Mission Room, Batman laid on the ground while Serra blew onto her fist. The rest of the Team ran in and Robin immediately gasped at the sight of his fallen mentor. "What did you do?" Robin asked. Serra smirked and looked to the Boy Wonder. "Kid, when your knight in black comes to, tell the Dark Knight that the Jedi are honorable, and that I will not tolerate any kind of insults anyone gives to the name of the Jedi." Serra ordered. All Robin could do was growl silently as Ahsoka walked up to her, shaking her head in much disapproval. "You can't just hit a member of the Justice League!" she reprimanded. Serra sighed and shrugged. "I'm sorry, but he was making great insults to the Jedi Order." Serra reasoned. Ahsoka was about to argue, but then stopped and sighed as she placed a hand to her head. "Never mind, just keep doing whatever it is you're doing." She exasperatingly stated. Serra smiled as she embraced her best friend while Ahsoka looked to the rest of the Team, all with some sorts of looks of disapproval on their faces.
As Serra let go, she pulled up a holoscreen. "Batman also told me the mission for us while I was in here." Serra stated. Aqualad walked up to her and looked her in the eyes. "What was the assignment?" he asked. Serra took no notice and continued to work. "Somewhere called Cuba is where the Shadows are operating. From what I heard the Dark Knight say, our goal is to take down the base of operations." She reported. At that moment, the Team's looks of disbelief turned into looks of satisfaction. "Let's go, then." Raquel stated. The rest of the Team nodded as they all headed towards the Bioship and the Tano.
Bialya 1600 hours UTC
Alakshmi looked to Queen Bee with happiness as the two walked down the halls. "How have you been doing all this time, my niece?" Queen Bee asked Alakshmi. The undercover ORDER operative chuckled and placed a hand to her chest. "I've been doing well so far. How about you? What have you been up to?" Alakshmi asked. Queen Bee sighed as she looked to her necklace. "Don't tell anyone, but this thing I'm doing is for the greater good." Queen Bee whispered. Alakshmi smiled sinisterly as her aunt walked towards the door. "Let's watch the show." She stated quietly to herself. At that moment, as Queen Bee exited the building, there was the sound of a gun and then silence. "Everything is going on schedule." Alakshmi stated as she smirked sinisterly.
Cuba 1615 hours UTC
The Martian Bioship and the Tano flew by the Atlantic Ocean and into Cuba as Serra looked out to see her surroundings. "Never before have I seen a place so full of life, yet a place so full of death." Serra stated. Ahsoka looked to her and scoffed. "There's a lot about Earth you probably don't understand." Ahsoka remarked back. Serra smirked and continued to gaze from the Bioship window. Aqualad then cut the silence as the Team looked to him after he cleared his throat. "If we are to ensure our victory in this mission, then we must remain as a Team and stop being cowboys and cowgirls." The Atlantean ordered. The Team nodded as Aqualad, Kid Flash, Miss Martian and Artemis all went into Stealth Mode. Robin looked to the two Jedi, as Ahsoka remained as she was and Serra made no changes whatsoever. "What will it take for you to be a part of this Team?" the Boy Wonder asked. Serra just scoffed as the two ships soon landed on the ground.
The Team started to scout the area for the League of Shadows on the Cuban territory. "Are you certain that this was the mission, Serra?" Aqualad asked. Serra smiled and nodded as she soon took notice of Sportsmaster and Deathstroke. Ahsoka and Artemis looked as well as Serra prepared to unsheathe a lightsaber. Before she could do so, Ahsoka and M'gann pulled her under a rock with the rest of the Team. Serra gasped as she was taken down and immediately shot a glare at the Team. "What was that for?!" she demanded. Aqualad looked to her and sighed. "We can't take all of them at once!" he exclaimed. Serra scoffed as she looked back to the Team. "I've taken on a blob in a space station, fought an entire battalion of Battle Droids, and these guys will be simple!" she remarked. Ahsoka just sighed and placed her hand to her head as Aqualad looked back to the rest of the Team. "Robin and Artemis, you run the left side and cause diversions for Kid Flash so that he can be able to extract the information from the base. The rest of us will take on Sportsmaster and Deathstroke." The Atlantean ordered.
While the leader was giving his commands, Ahsoka looked out of the bush and widened her eyes with suspense. "Serra?" she asked. Aqualad turned to her and nodded. "Serra will have a part in this plan as well, Ahsoka." Aqualad reassured her, but Ahsoka shook her head in disagreement. "No, I mean, Serra is out there!" she exclaimed. The rest of the Team looked out of the bush and gasped. Serra wasn't listening to the plan and had already gone ahead into the area. The Team watched as she cut down many Shadow Assassins as she ran towards the base. Kaldur turned to Connor and Rebel and nodded. "Follow her!" he ordered. The two nodded as Superboy jumped into the air and Rebel ran with a pistol in his hands. "You really need to do something about your friend, no offense." M'gann remarked to the Togrutan. Ahsoka nodded and shrugged. "No offense was taken." She replied back. The two watched as Serra continued to make her way to the base.
As Serra cut down a trooper, another got back up and aimed a gun at her. Before he could even shoot, Superboy leapt down and knocked him out unconscious. Serra turned around and glared at the Boy of Steel as Connor just shot her his own glare. "Cover me, clone." She ordered. The Kryptonian's eyes widened with shock as he followed her. "What did you just call me?!" he demanded. Serra turned back around and smirked. "Clones are soldiers; therefore, I need you to cover for me. Consider yourself the chosen soldier for me." She remarked. Superboy growled as he followed Serra while fending off Shadow Assassins. Ahsoka ran up to Serra as she kicked away another Shadow Assassin and groaned. "Serra, we don't treat our Teammates like that!" she reprimanded. Serra sighed and looked back to Ahsoka with her eyes widened. "Look out!" she yelled, pushing Ahsoka down to the ground. The Togrutan gasped as she watched Serra cut down one of the Shadow Assassins. She angrily got up and looked to Serra once again. "We also don't kill our enemies!" she scolded. Serra scoffed as she ran to the base. "You worry too much, plus you've gotten soft!" she remarked.
Sportsmaster and Deathstroke watched as most of their army was cut down to size. "We need to leave!" Deathstroke exclaimed. At that moment, Serra jumped up to them and Force-Pushed them aside. Ahsoka tried to follow, but more Shadow Assassins, plus Deathstroke and Shimmer, got in the way. Ahsoka fought them off until Serra came out and Force-Pushed the enemies aside. "The place is set to blow!" she exclaimed. Ahsoka gasped as she and Serra ran to the Team. "The base is rigged to explode!" Ahsoka exclaimed. "We'll retreat for now!" Aqualad ordered. The rest of the Team nodded as they headed into the Bioship and left the area just in time right before the base exploded.
As the Team left Cuba in the Bioship, Ahsoka looked back to Serra. "I don't know what you did in there, but you might have done a great job." She complimented. Serra smiled and nodded. As Ahsoka walked over to pat her on the back, she couldn't help but notice that Serra was being very secure about her utility belt. As the Togrutan tried to touch it, Serra just moved her hand away gently. Ahsoka raised an eyebrow as to what was going on. Unable to figure it out, she walked back to her seat as they approached Mount Justice.
Mount Justice 1632 hours ETC
Batman listened to the Team's mission report very carefully. Even though he had just come to, he still had his duties to perform. After listening to Aqualad tell him about how they were able to successfully storm the base, the Dark Knight sighed and turned around to pull up a holoscreen. "Even though you successfully managed to take down the League of Shadow's stronghold, it wasn't your primary objective." Batman scolded. Serra looked like she had seen a baby get killed as she walked up to the Dark Knight. "I beg to differ, as I was able to take down the Shadows." She stated. Batman sighed and started to type away at the holoscreen. "The goal of the mission was to extract information from the stronghold in Cuba so that the League can get some leads onto what the Light is up to." The Dark Knight stated. Underneath his mask, a slight grin was made, as this was his comeback to her for her punch. "Now that we don't know where the League of Shadows is operating, the League has no leads whatsoever on the Light's operations." He explained. The Team looked to Serra as she took a deep breath. "I believe you could have said, 'You're welcome'." She retorted. The Team all watched with awe as she walked away. Ahsoka knew that she had a lot of pride and honor, but she never failed to see that something was now off with her best friend.
Before Serra could walk away, the holoscreen started to fizz. Robin typed away on his holo-gauntlet as he attempted to regain the connection. "Someone's just hacked into the system! I can't override it!" the Boy Wonder exclaimed. At that moment, the static stopped as a man with scars across his face appeared, along with nineteen figures behind him, all with their hands humbly placed behind their backs. "Greetings, my good brothers and sister, I am Sylas, leader of the great and powerful ORDER, the Organization Righteously Designated for Existential Renegades." Sylas started out. The Team all watched with awe as the head of the ORDER smiled to the camera with an innocent look on his face. "I have the fate of humanity within my grasp, and I will be the one to free you from the chains of society, and bring you to godhood." Sylas added on, with his generals all either cocking their weapons or cracking their fists seriously. Wally tensed up as he looked to the badge he had stolen earlier that year. "So, that's the head of the ORDER." Kid Flash remarked.
Alcatraz Island 1634 hours
Sylas smiled as he looked to the camera. "My quest for godhood began many years ago. When I was a boy, my family and I lived in Washington DC. We weren't rich, and none of us could prevent ourselves from seeing the bloodshed of the Holocaust. This made us very easy targets for the League of Shadows, who assassinated my father. When my father went to confront that terrorist group, my family was taken away from me. The KKK and the Nazis followed in taking away my friends. Ever since then, I have formed the ORDER in hopes of taking down the forces that brought chaos to Earth." Sylas announced.
As the Team watched the broadcast go live in the Cave, Tatsu, Roy and Jade, Kara and many others saw the ORDER cast their revelation as well. "Someone has to do something about this!" Ahsoka exclaimed. "What can we do to stop the ORDER?" Jaybo asked as Saw and the rest of the Team continued to watch. "Allow me to introduce to you my generals of peace." Sylas stated, causing one of the generals in the background to walk forwards.
"Striker was a man who had lost his love, a Red Cross nurse, during World War II, at the hands of the League of Shadows. I found him, and we vow to take down the Light once and for all!" Sylas proclaimed. Many people in the audience at the live announcement cheered on for Striker as he grinned. At that moment, Syrena leapt in with an ORDER helicopter whirring above her. "Am I late?" she asked. Just then, Queen Bee was dropped from the helicopter as she looked up to her niece. "Why are you doing this, Alakshmi?!" Queen Bee demanded. Alakshmi looked down to her as she removed her diadem from her forehead. "Zazzala, you disowned me, and I believe that this holds everything we need to know about your cooperation with the Light." Alakshmi sadistically stated. Zazzala gasped as Alakshmi removed a hidden camera from within. "I believe that I gave you this crown before you disowned me and ruled over Bialya with an iron fist under the faux pa of a peaceful monarch!" Alakshmi spat once again. Sylas nodded to Alakshmi as she played the recordings of the hidden camera within the crown. Many people all over Earth booed the Bialyan ruler as they saw her connections with the Light. Sylas smiled as he pointed a finger to Zazzala. "This dictator is nothing more than a scoundrel and a corrupted human! Let the Light know that they will be shown no mercy!" Sylas yelled out, gaining some yells of appreciation from the crowds all over the Earth. Alakshmi smiled and stepped up. "By the way, you can call me Syrena, Persian of the Peace and daughter of Odin! I will bring all those who oppose the quest for godhood to justice!" she yelled out, gaining even more supporting yells.
Sylas smirked as Xever stepped up. "Now, here is Xever, the swordsman who can slash at the darkness before the dawn!" Sylas announced as Xever twirled around a pocketknife. Cad Bane and Slick stepped up next as Sylas gestured his hands to them. "Cad Bane and Sargent Slick have seen what we can do for all of humanity, and vow to lead the ORDER alongside me." Sylas announced. The crowds continued to go wild as the two smiled sinisterly.
At the Cave, the Team watched the report with uneasiness as crowds started to cheer on the ORDER. "This isn't good at all." Robin remarked. Serra and Artemis nodded as Ahsoka watched as Black Widow came up onto the stage. "Barriss Offee was a castaway, driven from her home for attempting to mend her corrupt society. If it weren't for her undercover work at Happy Harbor, then none of us would know its drastic secrets." Sylas explained. At first, the crowds were silent, but a roaring thunder of applause filled the airs as Serra gasped. "Barriss is here?!" she asked. Ahsoka nodded as they continued to watch. "We know them and the Terror Titans, but who are the other thirteen members?" Ahsoka wondered with unease.
At Alcatraz, three male generals stepped up. All three of them wore black uniforms and were armed with advanced weaponry. "Kadaj, Ankh, and Loz will be your protectors in the name of Odin." Sylas announced. Kadaj then stepped up and unsheathed his double-bladed katana. "The Remnants of Odin will bring godhood to you all!" Kadaj announced. Once again, the crowds went wild. Sylas smiled as six more generals stepped up. "I give you Gaia, the bringers of life. Kendo the Sniper, Martyr the Man of Metal, Rekka of Flames, Scauldon of the tai chi arts, Eternity the ever-living, and Maria the cyclone goddess are all at the service of ORDER!" Sylas proclaimed.
The Team and the Light just watched as the generals were being introduced to the world and all under a folly as well. "Someone has to expose ORDER!" Superboy exclaimed. While the Team nodded in unison and agreement, five more members of the ORDER took the plate and walked up, revealing who they were to the world. "Meet Stormshock, the woman who can change the winds of change and the storms of Hell." Sylas announced. "Demonstrate your power by stopping the earthquake in Hades!" Sylas ordered. Stormshock nodded as she flew into the air and spread her arms out. At that moment, the occurrences in Hades began to stop. "Spixe, demonstrate your evolved powers!" Sylas demanded to the next male general. Spixe nodded as he unsheathed several spikes from his arms, wielding them like swords. Other generals included Fingers, a man with six fingers, Heller, the man who lives by his name, and finally, a girl was left. "Hola, amigos." She greeted in Spanish. The Team watched as she demonstrated her powers over fire and flight. "There are so many generals now!" M'gann exclaimed. "Sylas must have been keeping them in secret up until this moment." Aqualad deducted. Ahsoka nodded as she continued to watch. At that moment, the Team widened their eyes with shock as several men were brought up onto the stage.
"The remaining members of the KKK and the Neo-Nazis are here on behalf of their dominance over the human race." Sylas announced. Several members of the crowd started to boo at them, causing the Ku Klux Klan to grit their teeth with anger and the Neo-Nazis to look around nervously. "For their actions against humanity, these two terrorist groups shall be executed, thus ending the oppression they have put on us for all these years." Sylas explained. Robin gasped at the sight that the ORDER had really captured the KKK and the Nazis! "That's impossible, just impossible!" Raquel exclaimed. "You took the words right out of my mouth." Robin replied, wide-eyed at the sight.
Syrena walked up to the KKK while Xever approached the Nazis. As the two unsheathed their swords, the terrorists started to shiver with nervousness as they swung their swords at their necks. Many people gasped as the KKK and the Nazis were officially wiped out. Sylas smiled and turned back to the camera. "If you wish to join the ORDER, then sign up, and godhood will be placed upon you." Sylas concluded. With that, the message fizzed away as every screen was left in static.
The Team looked to Batman, who was also shook with surprise. "ORDER has now become a grave threat." The Dark Knight announced. He started to type away at the holocomputer as the Team watched with suspense. "If ORDER was able to wipe out a discriminating African-American society and the followers of Adolf Hitler, then what will they do next?" M'gann asked out loud. Aqualad stood in shock as the Team all turned to him. "I just don't know." He stated dumbfounded. At that moment, Batman turned around to face the thirteen members of the Team. "San Francisco is currently being used as an ORDER recruitment center. Your mission as of now is to disband the recruitments and expose ORDER for who they really are." The Dark Knight instructed. The Team all nodded as they once again went to their ships.
San Francisco 1712 hours
The Team all looked over the city of San Francisco with nervousness as ORDER seemed to be everywhere. Saw looked to Serra with concern as she looked to the people nervously. Ahsoka walked up to Serra and then placed a hand on her shoulder. "ORDER will be taken down, no matter what the cost is." She promised. Serra smiled and placed her own hand on her friend's shoulder. "I promise you that you will be back with the Jedi when this is all over." Serra stated. Ahsoka smiled slightly as the Team looked to her with concern.
As the Team landed, they didn't notice that Barriss had seen them. She then looked to the shadows and nodded her head. "Go take care of the Team. The Shan is mine." She ordered. The ones in the shadows nodded as they headed to the Bioship. The Team walked out of the Bioship silently, with some of them in Stealth Mode. "Okay, here's the plan: we shut down ORDER from the inside and get out without a trace. The last thing the League needs is hatred towards them." Aqualad ordered. The Team nodded in agreement as they all ran into the building.
Once the Team reached the building, they saw some citizens signing up to be in ORDER. "Robin, send them a subtle warning." Kaldur ordered. The Boy Wonder nodded as he threw down a smoke bomb, causing some tear gas to emit. All of the civilians started to clear the area as the Team jumped down. "That seemed too easy." Artemis stated. Just then, there was a loud cackling coming from above. Superboy looked up and growled. "I hate hearing the sound of us laughing." He retorted. The Terror Titans then jumped down from their place and surrounded the Team. "You might want to throw in the towel for this one, Titans." Ahsoka quipped. Lux snickered as he pointed a pistol at Xanadu. "In case you haven't noticed, the odds are thirteen to eight." He remarked. Falcon smirked and unsheathed a dagger and a gun. "Who cares about the odds? This time, you'll be buried alive." He remarked. With that, the teens got into fighting stances as the Terror Titans prepared to take them down. Serra and Ahsoka both unsheathed their hilts as Rebel took out his twin pistols. As the smoke from the bomb cleared, the fight between the Team and the Terror Titans commenced.
As the Team charged into the Titans, Lux, Artemis and Saw stood their ground and started to fire upon the Titans. Inertia, Enola and Falcon deflected the shots while the rest of the Team started to attack the rest of the Terror Titans. Xanadu threw her wand at Aqualad, but he knocked it away with his Water-Bearer swords and parried back. The two clashed with each other as Aqualad started to go onto the offensive. Xanadu jumped back and then shot several lightning bolts into the air to land on Kaldur. Aqualad just twirled around and deflected the shots as he looked back to the evil Zatanna. "You're not too bad." He remarked before running in to attack again. Blood Bane stabbed his swords into Rocket, but she grabbed the blades and started to keep her hold on them. Blood Bane angrily ran into her and started to run up the wall as he lost one of his Blood-Bearers. Rocket attempted to attack with the stolen Blood-Bearer until Blood Bane knocked her away. Rocket backflipped and then kicked away the rest of the attacks he made at her.
Miss Martian and Ultraboy clashed with each other as Superboy bashed with Silver Martian. Connor and Silver Martian were knocked back, but then attacked again as M'gann and Ultraboy clashed legs with each other in the air. As Miss Martian threw Ultraboy away, Connor and Silver Martian kicked each other in the chest, knocking each other away. Meanwhile, Artemis clashed with Prowler bow with bow. As Prowler knocked Artemis away, she countered by kicking her in the chest and then swinging her bow down onto her. The two fought in a flurry, neither backing down. As the dark Artemis attempted to stab her arrow into the green archer, Artemis grabbed her and then threw her to the ground. Prowler gasped as Artemis then brought two sharp arrows down onto her. Luckily, she blocked with her bow. Artemis and Prowler both growled as they continued to attack each other relentlessly.
As Ahsoka fought against Inertia and Falcon, Serra sensed something amiss. She looked up to the upper railing to see Black Widow staring down at her. "She's mine!" Serra exclaimed. Ahsoka took notice and broke off with Falcon. "Serra, hold on! There's something you don't know!" she yelled out, but Inertia cut off her path. Jaybo then threw down a shock grenade and punched away at Falcon. "Go get her!" he yelled. Ahsoka smiled and nodded as she started to follow Black Widow. Artemis and Superboy took notice as they broke off from their partners. Before their evil twins could give chase, Saw intercepted them and nodded to the two heroes. Connor smiled and grabbed Artemis before jumping into the air to follow the two Jedi. Barriss waited on top of the roof as Serra Keto followed her. Ahsoka was about to follow until Syrena cut her off. "Let's start round 2, Snips." She quipped. Ahsoka growled and the two clashed with each other as Connor and Artemis made their way up.
Serra activated her lightsabers and looked to Barriss Offee sternly. "You have disgraced our order." She remarked. Black Widow chuckled and turned around. She then placed on her mask as she activated her lightsabers soon after. "I intend to do what I must in order to prevail." She spat back. Serra held her lightsaber out as Barriss did the same with one of her own. The two then ran at each other and clashed high. Serra turned around and attempted a Niman downwards slash, but Black Widow blocked it with an Ataru defense. Serra broke off and attacked with a Shien slash, but Barriss countered with a Vaapad slash. She pushed away Serra and the two stood in a standoff. Ahsoka came up and watched as the two ran across the rooftop and clashed once again. Serra attacked with Makashi strikes as Black Widow counterattacked with Vaapad movements, but the Shan kept pushing the Mirialan back. Barriss then attacked on the offensive as she started to knock Serra away. Serra twirled and dodged every attack until Barriss jabbed her lightsaber at her head. Serra stood back and then threw the blade off and then attacking with Shien strikes. The two clashed with each other in thin air once again as Serra broke off soon after. As she pushed the Jedi traitor away, she unsheathed her other lightsaber, in which Barriss did the same.
Meanwhile, back on the ground, the Team and the Terror Titans stood a safe distance away from each other, both sides panting in exhaustion. "It should be the best choice to save the best for last." Aqualad proclaimed. Silver Martian nodded and the Titans jumped away. "It's not over yet." She remarked. The Team looked to one another before following after them.
On the rooftop, Serra and Barriss clashed with each other, both wielding dual lightsabers. As Barriss broke off, Serra jumped over her and onto a nearby chimney. She then Force-Pushed Black Widow away and then jumped down to attack her fallen foe. As Black Widow got up, she clashed with Serra before getting her lightsabers deactivated in the process. As Serra brought her blades down onto Barriss in an X-shaped cross, Barriss lost one of her lightsabers before she broke off and then started to clash with her again, only with one blade. As Serra attacked again, Barriss grabbed her wrists and forced Serra to drop her right sword. Serra angrily attacked with an Ataru overhead strike, but Black Widow just blocked with a Shien defense stance. Barriss then began to bring her blade down onto her, but Serra broke off and jumped into the air to attack. Black Widow then laughed as she used the Force to pin her to a wall, getting her to drop her other lightsaber in the process. "You know, Serra, it's because of you that I've felt this excited." Black Widow remarked. Serra fell to the ground as she started to feel her chest. She then gasped as she looked into her utility belt. "I should be thanking you." Black Widow went on. Serra looked up and gasped as Barriss regained her second lightsaber. "But it'd be more fun to kill you." She quipped sinisterly.
At that moment, Barriss charged in to attack Serra. The Shan stood in shock as Black Widow drew nearer. Just then, Connor tackled her and Artemis knocked Serra aside while Saw came up and shot a stun blast at the zealous Ex-Jedi. Serra looked up to Artemis and gasped. "Why'd you save me after all that I did?" she asked. Artemis grinned and aimed an arrow at Barriss as she threw off Superboy and started to head towards Saw. "It's called honor. We never leave anyone behind, even if it pains us like Hell." She replied. Serra stood in shock as Artemis shot an arrow at Barriss, sending her off of the roof. Artemis turned back to Serra and smiled.
Just then, there was an explosion. The Team got onto the rooftop as they looked to Serra, who was regaining her lightsabers. "We need to save the civilians!" Aqualad ordered. The Team nodded as Serra just watched with shock. Ahsoka looked to her before heading off with the rest of the Team to save the people below. Serra walked over and looked down as the Team started to risk their lives to save the innocent bystanders. What have I done? I'm not a Jedi anymore! Serra thought to herself. She watched as Aqualad put out a fire before rescuing the couple that was caught underneath. This Team is the REAL group of Jedi! They're the best I've ever seen up till now. She thought even further. As the Team continued to rescue the innocents, Serra fell to her knees and stuttered.
As the Team got all of the civilians to safety, the buildings started to collapse. Aqualad looked back and sighed. "Our mission is accomplished." He stated. The crowd started to go wild at that moment for the Team. It was louder than the one for ORDER, which made the Team feel warm inside. "Let's go home." Wally stated. The Team nodded as they all headed back to the Bioship.
Mount Justice 1742 hours
Batman looked to the Team after they reported the mission. "You all did a very good job." He complimented. The Team all smiled, but Ahsoka noticed Serra frown slightly. Before anyone could say anything, Serra ran up to them and looked at them sadly. "Everyone… I am so sorry for the way I acted!" she exclaimed. The Team stood in shock as M'gann flew up to her. "It's alright, Serra. I forgive you." She stated. Serra smiled and looked to Ahsoka, who was smiling as well. Serra then looked to the Team and sighed. "I guess that I was just so focused on getting Ahsoka back into the Jedi that I forgot what it meant to be a Jedi myself." She apologized. The Team looked to her in confusion. After a couple of minutes, they smiled to her. Connor just crossed his arms and scoffed. "So am I a clone to you or what?" he snapped. Serra sighed and looked to Batman. As the Dark Knight looked to her in confusion, she suddenly took out the camera that she stole from Dick. "It might seem like the mission earlier was a failure, but I was indeed able to get the plans of the Light." She stated. Batman looked to her and looked to the camera. After nodding, he gave Serra a grin. Serra smiled as she walked away. Connor looked to her before running up and sighing. "I guess that you're forgiven, but the next time I'm in trouble, you're the one who will be providing cover." He quipped. Serra laughed as the rest of the Team joined in. It was a good start to having Serra Keto Shan on the Team.
