25. Down and Dirty

Hello again, everyone! This is SuperHeroTimeFan speaking and I am back with another new chapter of my greatest story, Path of the Padawan! I never thought that I could get this far, to be honest. It's so great to know that there are people out there who like all the hard work that I do to make my stories so popular. So, before I start, I would like to thank everyone who has ever supported me. Thank you, Christian Jedi, Logan GC, JacklyinKarst, YellowFlash67, Flaming Dragon, Robin Rani, Falcongal, Swimmer555, All4TheSnow, JediSpiritMonk, Princess9903, Hylianodst, witchsoul531, Crystal-Rose-Lover, KrautYank, Ocnarf, and all of the Guests for either reviewing, favoriting or following me as I do this awesome story. Now, before I start, as usual, I would like to address some concerns and questions that the reviewers and supporters had. For Ocnarf, you suggested that I add in some new characters and have Ahsoka go to new places. I'm sorry to say this, but I've already got other plans, and I can't fit in other characters other than the ones that I have planned to appear. Since those were all the questions that needed to be answered, I'll move onto my new chapter of Path of the Padawan. Please be sure to review, rate, and as always, I hope that you enjoy it!

Chapter 25: Down and Dirty

Western Mongolia April 6th 1600 hours UTC

The Light looked at the recent television broadcast of Professor Ivo announcing his allegiance to the ORDER. "It seems like such a shame to lose one of our most important assets." Lex Luthor stated as he scowled at this betrayal. "It is such a shame that our dear Professor Ivo has deserted us for the ORDER." The Brain stated. Queen Bee looked at the footage again and clenched her fist while cursing under her breath. "I suppose that with the threat of the ORDER around, desperate measures must be taken." She said to all the men of the Light. Klarion cursed under his breath and crossed his arms. "How are we able to stop ORDER if they just keep getting stronger?" he questioned. Ra's Al Ghul looked over and sighed. "Once again, we must take desperate measures to ensure the ORDER goes down." He claimed. The members of the Light nodded as a new plan was set in motion.

Gotham Academy April 7th 1006 hours ETC

Artemis and Serra both walked into their first period class at Gotham Academy. "We need to be careful." Artemis said to the Jedi. Serra nodded as they walked into the classroom, both keeping an eye out for the Terror Titans. The two sat down next to Dick Grayson and the daughter of the head of the Gotham Police Department, Barbara Gordon. Dick looked to the two girls concernedly as he was also looking out for Falcon. Artemis and Dick eyed every student as Serra tried to use the Force to pinpoint where the two Terror Titans were.

At that minute, Miss Rudolph entered the room and looked to the class as she wrote down something in her notebook. "I report that Miss Bennett and Mister Calico are absent for the day." She informed her class. Immediately, Artemis, Dick and Serra all sighed, much to the confusion of everyone else. Artemis and Serra looked to Dick confusingly as the Boy Wonder in disguise rubbed the back of his neck. Miss Rudolph cleared her throat after seeing this as she spoke again. "Their parents say that they are currently sick and cannot attend school for today." The teacher added on. Artemis smiled and sighed in relief as Robin tried his best to hide his excitement. Serra stood aghast by this, unsure if they should be celebrating just yet.

At lunch, Serra patiently got her lunch and walked over to Artemis to sit next to her. The archer looked happily to her Jedi friend and smiled. She waited for a returning smile, but Serra just remained on edge. Artemis's smile lessened as she raised an eyebrow in much confusion. "What's wrong, Serra?" she asked. Serra sat down and continued to look around as she turned to face Artemis. "Don't you find it a bit strange that the Terror Titans would just disappear after they would want to try to break you apart?" the Shan whispered. All Artemis could do was nod and shrug. "What are you saying?" she asked. Serra turned back to her and gave Artemis a stern look. "I'm saying that something's not right here." She explained. Artemis nodded as they began to think about the sudden disappearance of the Terrors.

Mount Justice 1532 hours

Recognized Robin B-0-1, Artemis B-0-7 Serra B-1-2 the female computer voice announced as the three teens entered the Cave. The rest of the Team was waiting for them anxiously like they were desperate. "Are the Terror Titans gone from your school too?" Ahsoka asked, knowing about the sudden disappearance. Robin looked to her and nodded. "How did you guess?" he asked. Ahsoka looked to Raquel and Saul before looking to Wally and then back to her friends. "They told me that Enola was gone from their school as well, and Wally told me that Inertia had disappeared from his school too." She explained.

Aqualad stepped up and placed his hand to his chin. "It seems that the ORDER may be trying to deceive us by making us all think that their Terror Titans ceased all stalker operations on us at our schools." The Atlantean deducted. Ahsoka nodded as she looked to Zatanna and Raquel. "Enola, Xanadu, Black Widow, Silver Martian and Ultraboy have seemed to vanish ever since we either exposed or struck a blow at them." The Togrutan added on. Aqualad nodded as Black Canary came by with the Atom.

"So, you see if Karen were to use the same technology I have, then…" Ray Palmer started out to Dinah, but the bird-themed heroine stopped him as she turned her attention to the Team. "That'll have to wait, Doctor Palmer." She replied. Ray nodded as he walked away, still looking to his iPad. "I guess that it's time for training, everyone." She stated. About ten members of the Team nodded, but Ahsoka, Serra and Jaybo shook their heads. "There's something we need to work on something important." Jaybo explained. Dinah nodded as she looked to the rest of the Team. "Let's get to work." Black Canary instructed. Serra looked to Canary one last time before sending a smile. "Good luck, Dinah." She said. The Team started to ooh and awe in happiness as Dinah just sent the Jedi a glare, but still with a smile. Ahsoka then pulled Serra away and chuckled. "The next thing we'll teach you about Earth is going to be the matter of the first-name basis." Ahsoka teased while pulling Serra away from the Team nervously.

As the Team was training, Ahsoka worked with Serra and Jaybo on their special project. "I need some pliers." Jaybo said as he was welding the object. Serra, wearing a safety mask and some gloves, passed a pair of pliers over to Drol. "Do you need this holographic generator yet?" Ahsoka asked. Jaybo looked back and sighed. "I'll need it in about a few minutes." He replied back. The Togrutan nodded as she went back to work on the part she was working on. What they were building was about to change the Team forever.

Sixteen minutes later…

The Team was all gathered together as Superman was pulling up several holoscreens of people all around the world. The Team also tensed up to see that there were millions of signs being held by the people, signs that meant support for the ORDER. The Man of Steel sighed as he then started to walk up to each and every member of the Team. "Many citizens around the globe have been endlessly supporting the ORDER with each passing day." Superman explained to the Team. Aqualad and Superboy clenched their fists and gritted their teeth as the Man of Steel continued his report. "This has become a dark day for the Earth, and if we are to gain an advantage over…" Superman continued, but stopped when he saw from the side of his head that three certain members of the Team were absent. "Where are Ahsoka, Serra and Drol?" he asked. Robin looked over to the side and realized that the three were still working on their 'project'.

At that moment, Jaybo, Serra and Ahsoka walked into the room with a large crate being levitated into the air. The Team and Superman all looked at the scene with confusion on their faces as Jaybo cleared up his throat. "Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you all the solution to our problems!" Drol announced. Artemis smirked as she looked to Wally. "If this is going to be some more upgrades to our arsenal, then I say bring it on!" the archer exclaimed excitedly. Ahsoka overheard the conversation and chuckled. "This was very famous back in our universe, and we were thinking that it would be great if you guys took a liking to this too." She stated. Superman nodded as Serra unsheathed her lightsaber and slashed at the box.

The Team all gaped with surprise as there stood a large, floating round tabletop. It somewhat resembled a chessboard, but there were no pieces to play with. While the Team just gaped with surprise, M'gann clapped lightly for her friends' new creation. "It looks amazing!" she exclaimed. Robin and Artemis nodded before Zatanna looked down and gestured her hand towards them. "What is it?" the mage asked. Ahsoka smiled as she pressed a button on the table and let it hover to the ground. "In our universe, we call this Dejarik or Vrax for short." Jaybo explained. Saw smiled at this and ran over. "I haven't played one of these for a long time." He stated.

The Man of Steel chuckled as he also walked over to the newcomers. "What's Dejarik like?" he asked. Ahsoka smiled and pressed another button on the side of the table, causing miniature, holographic versions of the Team, League, the ORDER and the Terror Titans to appear. "We had it configured so that the pieces would be more Earth-wise familiar." Jaybo explained. The rest of the Team laughed as they ran over. "At least we look good here." Connor retorted, looking to see that the members of the Team were the pawns of the game. Superman looked down and chuckled a bit. The whole Team was acting as the entire cast of the game. "That's very funny." He stated. The Team then looked over to the other side of the board, where there were ORDER generals and Terror Titans. "It looks like they're the pawns." Wally mused. The Team looked with interest, as the board and game seemed nothing like chess. The pieces were set in fighting stances instead of lined up and ordered, and while there were no squares, a battle arena had been put in its place.

Ahsoka smiled as she took one side and Lux took the other. "You don't know how to do this, so I think it's best to let us demonstrate." Ahsoka told her friends. Lux smiled and looked down to Barriss's holographic figurine. "Black Widow, move five paces." He ordered. The Team gaped in wonder as Black Widow moved forwards exactly in the same command that Rebel had given. Ahsoka looked to the Team and smirked before looking back down to the board. "Artemis, move six paces forwards." She ordered. The real Artemis looked around before looking down to the board. "You meant her." She stated. The Team then watched as the holographic figure of Artemis ran towards Barriss. All of a sudden, before she reached her last spot, the holographic Artemis shot an arrow into Barriss's chest, causing her to disappear. The Team gaped as Ahsoka and Lux looked up to the Team happily.

Aqualad smiled as he knelt down to examine the board. "This just might help us indeed." He stated. Ahsoka and Serra both smiled as Robin then knelt down. "This is perfect!" he yelled. The Atlantean then stood up and looked to Ahsoka and Drol. "This will be perfect strategy planning for us to plan out our battles. Thank you." He said. Ahsoka's eyes then widened with surprise as Jaybo blinked twice. The five from the Expanded Universe looked down to the Team as they started to get their mini selves to act out some battle scenarios on the Dejarik board. Serra just looked wide-eyed and gaped. "Do-do they even know that this is supposed to be a game?" she asked stuttering. Ahsoka shook her head in disagreement as Saw placed his hand up to his head. "We should have been more specific about this." He remarked. The other four nodded as the Team started to play Dejarik the wrong way.

Ahsoka and her friends just watched as the Team used the Dejarik game for strategizing and not for leisure. "I, for one, thought that this would help take some stress off of the Team's shoulders." The Togrutan stated, in which the rest of her friends shrugged and nodded. It had been an hour since they introduced the game, and now the Team had completely missed the point of what Dejarik was supposed to even be. Ahsoka finally got up and walked over to the Team to see what they were doing after a long period of silence. "I'm going to see what they're doing." She explained to her friends. The other four nodded as Ahsoka made her way to the Team using her game the wrong way.

Just then, Batman entered the room via Zeta Tube. The Team then looked up to see the Dark Knight and got up on their feet, immediately straightening up their positions. "What is our mission, Batman?" Serra asked. The Dark Knight silently pulled up a holoscreen and looked back to the Team. "League communications have just received these Morse Code transmissions." He stated to the Team. The Team nodded as they leaned in closer to look at the coded messages sent to them. "They look like coordinates for somewhere." Robin deducted. Ahsoka looked to the coded message and nodded. "I can put in the coordinates. Then, we can have an understanding about what's going on there and with some help from Drol, we could try to trace where the message came from." The Togrutan stated. Jaybo walked over as Ahsoka typed in the coordinates from the Morse-Coded message. "I have Longitude 77º East and Latitude 22º North." Ahsoka exclaimed. Jaybo nodded as he started to pull up a map of the area that was given to them. The Team and Batman looked up to the holoscreen as an image started to appear. Soon, India started to appear on the map. "Whatever's going on down in India will lead us to the ORDER." The Dark Knight deducted.

Aqualad nodded as he looked to the rest of the Team. "If we find anything suspicious that the ORDER is performing, we will make sure to bring it back as evidence to show to the United Nations." The Atlantean stated. Batman nodded as he pulled the holoscreens down. "Be sure to get every single detail about the ORDER's operations as you can." He said. Ahsoka stepped up and smiled. "We stand ready." She stated. With that, the Team started to head towards their ship.

India 1724 hours UTC

As the Team flew over India, Ahsoka and Serra looked down to all the factories that were set up on the ground below. "There have to be millions of operations going on here." Ahsoka remarked. Aqualad nodded as he prepared his Water-Bearers. "If the ORDER is down there, then this may be our only opportunity to reveal their true colors to the world." The Atlantean reminded his friends. The rest of the Team nodded as Serra looked down. For a minute, she could have sworn she could have seen someone looking up to them from the ground. All of a sudden, both she and Ahsoka held their hands to their heads and groaned. M'gann and Zatanna gasped as they ran to their aid. "What's wrong?" Zatanna asked her two friends. Ahsoka moaned as she rubbed her forehead. "I feel a deep disturbance." She said to the two supernatural-powered beings. Connor gaped at the scene while cracking his knuckles. "Let's get to work." He exclaimed. The rest of the Team nodded as they landed the Bioship on the ground.

The Team looked around the area of the factory. "When we get the chance to meet our anonymous sponsor, I'll be sure to thank him." Kid Flash stated. Artemis looked to her boyfriend and smirked. "Let's get in there." She said. The Team nodded as Aqualad, Kid Flash, Miss Martian, Artemis, Ahsoka and Serra activated their new Stealth Mode features. "Everyone, be stealthy." Aqualad ordered. The rest of the Team nodded as Saw and Superboy ran with Robin into the shadows, with Lux following Rocket and Jaybo into some bushes. Zatanna smirked and placed on her new ring, and with it, she became as thin as air.

The ORDER operative soldiers guarded their base with extreme caution, aiming their weapons at every corner of the open area. Black Spider looked to the side as he heard some ruffling within the bushes. Catwoman took notice of this and raised an eyebrow. "What is it, Spidey?" she asked snippily. Black Spider raised an eyebrow under his hood before looking back to his superiors. "I thought I heard something, that's all." He explained. Slick scoffed and aimed his gun at the bushes, shooting them soon after. When the blasts had cleared, there was nothing there. "You're paranoid, you know that?" the Clone Sargent retorted. Black Spider just blew him off as he continued to keep watch. Unbeknownst to any of them, the Team, all invisible to anyone guarding the area, passed them and made their way into ORDER's base of operations.

The Team chuckled as they made their way into an empty room of the base. "Let's go see what the ORDER's hiding from everyone." Robin quipped as he and Artemis ran off in one direction. Aqualad nodded as he went with Ahsoka and Serra into another part of the base. Connor went with M'gann, Zatanna with Rocket and Wally with Saw, Drol and Rebel. "Let's just see what these Pretty Little Liars are keeping away from everyone." M'gann snippily mused as she and Superboy flew into one of the corridors of the ORDER base. Unbeknownst to any of them, Sylas was watching them all from the shadows with an intrigued look on his face. "You won't get out of here alive." He quipped before walking down a corridor.

Robin and Artemis started to search the area of the base. "Let's see what we can find." The archer stated to her friend as Robin nodded. Just then, a squadron of ORDER troopers came in front of the two. "Drop your weapons!" one of the soldiers ordered. Robin chuckled as he took out a birdarang. "If that's what you want, then so be it." He quipped. With that, Robin dropped the birdarang to the ground. It suddenly started to float quickly towards all of the troopers, skimming them in the knees as Artemis ran forwards at them with her bow. One of the ORDER troopers unsheathed his dagger to attack her, but she pressed the button on her bow and activated the hidden blade, knocking the trooper aside. Robin unsheathed his new birdarangs and started to throw them at more of the ORDER operatives while Artemis just slashed some of them aside. Soon, all of the ORDER troopers were down for the count as both non-powered heroes smirked at each others. "Let's keep going." Artemis said as the two continued to run down the hall.

Ahsoka, Aqualad and Serra, on the other end of the building, started to cut down the troops that were getting in their way as well. "We need to get to the base's central command room immediately." Ahsoka exclaimed to her faction. The two nodded as they started to head to the control room. As they turned the corner, Zatanna and Rocket joined them. "There were a couple ORDER soldiers waiting for us, but we were able to take care of them." Rocket said to the leader. Kaldur nodded as Ahsoka, Serra and Zatanna all placed their hands to their heads painfully, nearly falling to the ground. Rocket and her boyfriend took notice as they went to the girls' aid. "What's going on?" Raquel asked as she helped Ahsoka and Zatanna up to their feet. Serra nodded as Aqualad helped her get back up. "We sense something wrong here." The Shan stated. Aqualad sighed and nodded. "Once we're done with the mission, then I'll be sure to have Doctor Fate or Batman look into it." The Atlantean said. The other girls nodded as they made their way into the control room up ahead.

Meanwhile, M'gann and Superboy threw aside their soldiers as well and started to head to the control room as well. As they flew towards the area, Kid Flash, Saw, Rebel and Drol had caught up to them. "Something's not right here." Rebel stated as he unsheathed both of his blaster pistols. M'gann nodded and placed her hand to her head to see if she could sense any incoming enemies. "I'm not picking up anything, but something definitely feels very wrong." She stated. Everyone else nodded as they continued to head towards the main room.

Ahsoka and Drol met up with each other and nodded. "Let's dig into what the ORDER doesn't want everyone else to know about." Jaybo said as the rest of the Team came into the room. Artemis unsheathed both of her crossbows and went with Lux to guard the area in case anyone tried to stop them. Jaybo and Robin ran up to the computers and plugged in their drives. Ahsoka started to type away as she started to search through each file of the operations going on in India. Serra went to the Togrutan's side as they both looked at each and every file of the ORDER's operations.

"They're conducting experiments… on humans!" the Ex-Jedi exclaimed to the Team. Robin looked up and widened his eyes under his domino mask. "The ORDER seems to have been performing operations for the past sixteen years! One of them was on July 4th, the day the Team was formed!" the Boy Wonder exclaimed. Drol panted as he pulled up some blueprints of all of the ice villains. "They called that event, on Independence Day, Operation Sabbath." Lux stuttered. Zatanna looked up to the screen and narrowed her eyes at a familiar man with a white jacket and red, facial scars. "Harm was a member of the ORDER?" she asked incredulously. Artemis looked to Lux and nodded as Serra took her place to stand guard. "William B. Hayes, a man who was mainly assigned to bring out the best fighters in the world under ORDER operation 16: Operation Seeker. Sylas chose him at the age of fifteen and gave him the alias of Harm." Artemis read. Wally looked over and narrowed his eyes at all of the ORDER's secret operatives. "Count Vertigo, Catwoman and Black Spider are all part of the ORDER." Wally added on. The Team then gasped at what was printed under Vertigo's name. It said, "Current Status: Deceased."

The Team started to gape further at any other past operations the ORDER had performed before Robin pulled up another file. "Operation Utopia was performed on October 16th; when ORDER performed a psychic attack on six teenagers to drive out their greatest fears and desires. That was the Training Exercise, and that was us!" the Boy Wonder stated, remembering back to the day the Team went through a mental simulation. The Team started to grit their teeth in anger at this. Finally, after seeing enough, Jaybo pulled out his drive, as Robin pulled out his. "There's enough evidence on here to prove that Sylas has lied to the entire world." Drol remarked. Ahsoka nodded as this and looked to Aqualad. "We got what we came for. It's time to go." She proclaimed. The Atlantean nodded as the Team soon made their way towards the exit.

The Team ran across the base towards the Bioship. The many operatives lay unconscious on the ground as they started to get near the exit. Soon, Aqualad led the Team into the open, where the Bioship was just up ahead. "Let's go." Ahsoka said. Just then, the Team heard some footsteps approach them. "Three months ago, you managed to defeat only four out of my millions of generals. That's very unimpressive." The voice remarked. The Team looked around as the footsteps started to near them, followed by some chuckling. "You also proved yourselves capable of defeating five of ten of my Terror Titans. Once again, I'm not impressed." The voice spat. Aqualad readied his Water-Bearers as Ahsoka, Serra, Rebel and Saw readied their melee weapons. "I know that voice." Ahsoka exclaimed. The Team nodded as they turned around to see a familiar man from earlier that month emerge from the pathway. His face was covered in scars, and his garbs resembled military apparel. Ahsoka stepped forwards towards the smirking man and pointed a finger at him. "You are the Leader of the ORDER. You are Sylas." She spat at the leader. Sylas chuckled and looked down to the ground while shaking his head. "I've been watching over you all for quite some time now, Team. Since the ORDER is loved by the public and you hold evidence enough to make the people lose that trust, you're not going anywhere." He sinisterly stated. Aqualad scoffed and walked closer towards him. He stood a safe distance away from the ORDER leader as he unsheathed his hilts.

"For the crimes of manipulation, murder, blackmail, dehumanization, illegal experimentation and theft, you are under arrest." Aqualad remarked. Ahsoka, Serra, Saw, Rebel and Artemis then ran up beside him and unsheathed their weapons. Aqualad's eyes looked to each member of the Team before he nodded. With that, they all threw their weapons into the air.

Artemis threw her two crossbows, allowing her to use her longbow, while Lux activated his Darksaber in his right hand and took out one of his pistols in his left, in which Saw unsheathed his vibroblade in his left hand and held one of his own pistols in his right hand. Ahsoka held her blue lightsaber in one hand while arming herself with her arm-mounted crossbow while Serra used one of her own lightsabers with Saw's other pistol. M'gann looked into the air before catching one of Ahsoka's lightsabers and one of Artemis's crossbows while Wally caught Rebel's other pistol and Artemis's other crossbow. Robin armed himself with Artemis's other crossbow while Rocket caught Saw's blaster rifle, with Connor catching Ahsoka's shoto and Zatanna with Serra's other lightsaber.

Sylas looked to each member of the Team impressively as Ahsoka pointed her crossbow at the scar-faced man. "Give it up, Sylas. You're impossibly outnumbered." She quipped. Sylas chuckled and cracked his neck. "I'll be the judge of that." He spat back. The rest of the Team smirked as Sylas stood in a fighting stance. Ahsoka and Serra then gasped at what happened next. There, in Sylas's right hand, was a gold and black lightsaber hilt. He glared to the Team and scoffed. "It's your funeral now." He quipped at them. With that, he activated his lightsaber hilt, and a black light shone. "Come and get me, I'll kill you all!" he yelled.

The Team charged in at Sylas at that moment. Connor tried to slash at him with his shoto, but Sylas used his dark lightsaber to block it and send the Boy of Steel to the side. Zatanna leapt in and kicked at his knee, but the man just simply pushed her aside as Robin brought his crossbow down onto him. Sylas blocked it with his bare hand, giving Aqualad enough time to slash him at the chest. Sylas saw this coming and then slashed him away. Rocket attempted to knock Sylas out with the rifle, but with a kick to her chest, she was sent into a nearby mine. Ahsoka turned back and gasped, but Rocket stood up, letting the Togrutan know that she made a shield to protect herself. Ahsoka smiled back as she started to help her friends take on Sylas. There's something dark about this guy. She thought to herself as she readied her arm-mounted crossbow.

Lux and M'gann yelled as they brought their blades down upon Sylas. Sylas only laughed at their feeble attempts to take him down as he broke them off and sent Sith Lightning in their direction. Serra gasped as they were thrown aside, even so more by the fact that Sylas was able to use the powers of the Force! Ahsoka joined her friend as they both started to circle the leader of the ORDER. "Who was your master?" Ahsoka demanded. Sylas chuckled and spread his arms out. "My master knows all the ways of the Force. Messiah knows how to train an apprentice well." He snippily replied. Ahsoka and Serra both snarled as they charged at him head-on with blades in hand. Sylas parried off every one of their attacks as M'gann and Kid Flash ran in to attack.

Sylas saw this coming and looked to see Miss Martian coming at her while being intangible. "Miss Enigma, you can't hide from my eyes." He quipped. With that, he reached into the air, through M'gann's chest, and threw the Martian female aside. Connor gasped and attempted to knock Sylas to the ground, but Sylas sent Sith Fire at him. The Team all gasped as Connor was sent to the ground, singing with flames. Sylas chuckled as he soon noticed Kid Flash run in to attack. With a simple use of the Force, Sylas slowed Kid Flash's speed down, making his running look like walking. Sylas then shot Sith Lightning at him, causing the speedster to fall to the ground. Artemis attempted to shoot an arrow at him, but he grabbed the arrow and sliced her string with it. Artemis growled as she let her blade out and started to jab and thrust at him. Sylas had a difficult time getting her off before she slashed a scar onto his face, immediately before she was sent tumbling backwards. Ahsoka gasped and then shot an energized arrow at him. Sylas saw this and grabbed the arrow before throwing it right at Artemis. The Team gasped when Artemis stood there, standing still, until she dropped to the ground, eyes closed and unconscious.

Ahsoka and the rest of the Team panted and looked to Sylas as he laughed evilly. Wally ran over to Artemis's aid and helped her up as she moaned and groaned in pain. "You can't find any hope of defeating me, for I am the Ultimate Sith Apprentice to Messiah." Sylas spat at the Team. Aqualad and the Jedi aimed their bladed weapons at Sylas and backed up. "You won't be getting out of this one alive." He quipped. Aqualad yelled as he threw water at Sylas, but the leader of the ORDER threw it aside and Force-Pushed Kaldur into Rocket. The Team gasped as Sylas began to near them with his black blade.

Just then, ice was sent towards Sylas. Sylas gasped as he leapt aside. The Team looked as well and saw that Killer Frost had sent the attack! Queen Bee, Blockbuster, Psimon and then Deathstroke soon followed. Artemis woke up and gasped at this. "What are you doing here?!" she demanded. Ahsoka scoffed and looked to Queen Bee. "I assume you anonymously tipped us off about the ORDER operation here?" she asked. The monarch looked back and smirked. "ORDER has been a pain in our side for too long now and drastic measures had to be taken so that the ORDER could fall." Zazzala explained. Ahsoka smiled and nodded at her. Psimon looked back to the Team and nodded. "If you have evidence to ensure the ORDER's downfall, then hurry and get it to Dangun!" he ordered. Ahsoka nodded and looked to Aqualad. "Let's go." She said. "We'll handle this." Killer Frost stated. The Team nodded as they soon ran towards the Bioship.

Sylas looked to the Light and sneered. "You'll pay for interfering with the ORDER!" he yelled. Queen Bee just smirked and closed her eyes. "I'll make sure that you won't be putting up a fight with us." She quipped, trying to enthrall the ORDER leader. Sylas grinned before he sent Sith Lightning in Bee's direction. The monarch gasped as she was soon thrown back. Sylas closed his eyes at that moment and held his lightsaber out in front of him. "Killer Frost attacks from 74 degrees west." He muttered to himself. With that, he held his left hand up and caught an icicle, causing Killer Frost to gasp. Sylas then chuckled as he saw Blockbuster coming in from above. "You won't get me that easily." He quipped. With that, he threw the icicle into Blockbuster's chest. Desmond stuttered as he fell to the ground, immediately dead. Killer Frost growled and then ran in to attack. "You can't beat me when I know about all of your tactics." He taunted. As Killer Frost made a blade of ice in her hand, Sylas threw his lightsaber at her neck. Psimon growled and attempted to attack him within his psyche, but Sylas growled at him and Force-Crushed his head, causing him to groan. Deathstroke attempted to attack Sylas, but the ORDER leader just knocked him to a nearby mine and Force-Lifted Psimon into the air towards his superior. Queen Bee looked up and gasped as Psimon was thrown her way. She and Psimon panted as they saw the Team making their way back to America. "Our work here is done." She proclaimed. With that, Deathstroke created a smoke bomb and the three disappeared. Sylas looked around after clearing the smoke and growled.

Sylas flew into the air and looked straight at the injured M'gann. "You won't be leaving so soon!" he yelled. The Team gasped as Sylas prepared to throw Sith Fire at the injured Team, but at that moment, a blast of fire sent Sylas aside. The leader of the ORDER remained unmoved by this, but was indeed confused as to what had happened. The Team looked to the side before Ahsoka looked to M'gann and nodded. "See you later, Sylas!" Ahsoka quipped as the Team flew off to the United Nations building in New York. Sylas growled softly as he flew back to Alcatraz. "Sylas to base; evacuate all ORDER personnel and prepare to retreat back to Bialya for further orders." He called to the ORDER on Alcatraz Island.

Unbeknownst to him, a girl flew out from the shadows. She blew some smoke off from her fingers and looked at Sylas. She had black hair and blue eyes, as well as an Asian ethnic look. She also wore a golden mask with a yellow cape, along with a red shirt that had a drawing of a five-pointed star on it. She also had some shoulder spikes, five golden triangles decorated all over her shirt and a black belt, along with a dark crimson skirt, as well as red sneakers and blue socks. She looked from Sylas to the departing Bioship. "We shall meet when the time comes, Team. I shall be waiting for that time as long as my heart beats." The masked heroine calmly said to herself. With that being done, she flew off into the distance.

Mount Justice April 11th 1325 hours ETC

The Team all stood in the Medical Bay as Cat Grant appeared on a television screen. "Just about a week ago, Ahsoka Tano led her Team to United Nations secretary Tseng Dangun. There, they presented evidence of the ORDER. It seems that they have not been so honest with us, and that they have been conducting experiments behind our backs. The US Marines were sent to drive them out of Alcatraz Island, but the ORDER had vanished. President Barack Obama, along with other world leaders, now declares the ORDER as wanted fugitives. This is Cat Grant signing off, wishing everyone a good day." Cat Grant reported.

Ahsoka looked to the Team and smiled. "Now that the ORDER's out of public business, we can take care of them the way we always have." She stated. The rest of the Team smiled, but Serra looked down with a concerned look on her face. "Isn't it a bit suspicious that an Earth being would know so much about the Force, and that he even has a Dark Master?" she asked her Togrutan friend. Ahsoka's smile lessened as she neared her. "Who is Messiah, and how does this being know so much about the Force?" Ahsoka asked. The Team remained in the room, now concerned about Sylas and what the ORDER had in store for them.

Blüdhaven 1652 hours

In Blüdhaven, a man walked into an apartment building. The sign 'Lab 401' appeared and lit up, letting the young man into the room. He walked up to one of the other men and bowed respectfully. "Taiga, what have you got to report?" a man in the shadows asked. Taiga bowed and nodded. "The two Jedi have proven to grown much stronger over time." One of the men explained calmly. The older man looked to his two comrades and nodded. "If we are to take care of the ORDER, the Light and the League, then we must move quickly to ensure our victory." He said. The other two men looked to him and smirked.

Bialya 1724 hours UTC

Sylas paced around the main control room with the Terror Titans and his generals waiting for him to speak to them. Many of the Terror Titans looked to each other nervously while the generals stood there, stoic in any way and waiting for Sylas's orders. Finally, the head of the ORDER turned to them and spoke up. "My defeat and our exposure was a minor setback." He stated to his fighters. Everyone nodded and saluted as Sylas let out a chuckle. "We must get back to our operations so that our true plot can progress further." He added on. The ORDER all yelled and saluted as Sylas turned his attention to the Terror Titans.

"Be sure to learn from your mistakes. I want a lack of failures and an increase in successes." He ordered Barriss. Black Widow nodded and saluted. "The Terror Titans will not fail you, Master Sylas." Black Widow swore. Sylas chuckled and walked towards Xever and Striker. "Be sure to oversee our operations in the Philippine Islands. The Symbio Enhancer will help increase our ranks tenfold." He ordered. Xever chuckled and twirled around his pocketknife. "We won't fail you." He promised. Sylas chuckled as his generals went off to perform their tasks, leaving him to depart to his quarters.

"Team, you have only delayed the inevitable." Sylas said to himself before a girl walked up next to him. "When the time comes, you shall face the Team and bring honor to the ORDER." He said. The girl chuckled and stepped out from the shadows. She wore a black ninja-like uniform with a Sith Robe and her face was concealed by her black hood. "Is that clear… my daughter?" Sylas asked. Sylas's daughter chuckled and removed her hood, revealing a pale face with sky-blue hair and yellow eyes. "I swear to honor the ORDER as best as I can, Father." She promised. Sylas looked back and smiled as he patted her on the shoulder. "Xion, you make a father proud." He said. The two laughed as they watched the generals and Terror Titans take off. It was going to be a dark day for the world and the universe as the ORDER was now beginning to grow stronger. It had just begun.

Author's Note: Well, I hope that everyone liked this new chapter. I'm sorry about the delay, but with Final Exams coming up, I had to study, which took up a lot of my time for writing stories and chapters. I hope that this compensates for the long wait. Credit goes to The Christian Jedi for helping me out with my new chapter. I promise, after the Finals are over and school is done with, I'll have more new chapters coming out more frequently. I'll do my best to have a new chapter come out later this week or maybe later this month. Either way, I'll do everything it takes to make this story as great as possible.
