Hey there and hello again, everyone! I'm back as SuperHeroTimeFan, and I am here with another new chapter of the best story I have ever written, Path of the Padawan! Chapter 31: Swan Song
Watchtower May 3rd 1138 hours
Alakshmi smirked as Martian Manhunter walked into the room. So far, everything was going her way. Doctor Fate and Red Tornado may not be able to be under my control, but once I get the Martian, everything will be complete. She thought to herself. Syrena continued to smile as J'onn made his way towards her. The green Martian took notice of her sudden change in demeanor and raised an eyebrow as he sat down in his seat. "Alakshmi Mira, we happen to know about what the ORDER's been planning so far." He calmly stated. Syrena looked to him and scoffed as he started to go on. "What do you know about Sylas's other plans for the future?" he asked. Syrena looked to him and started to increase her smile. "There are two words for that, J'onn." She stated. Martian Manhunter got up and started to send Alakshmi a glare. Syrena sent a Kubrick stare at J'onn and then, at that moment, it happened. "Parasitica… Symbio." Syrena uttered.
Expanded Universe, Jedi Council Chambers…
The Jedi council all met as they looked up to Anakin, who was pacing around the center of the room angrily. "We may have been suspicious at the moment, but when was the last time we had to expel a member of the Jedi Order for a crime she confessed she didn't admit?" he questioned. Adi Gallia looked to the rest of the Jedi Masters with a concerned look as Kit Fisto nodded to Master Plo in agreement. Anakin looked back to the Council and sighed exasperatingly. "The reason Ahsoka left in the first place was because you had the idea that she was the culprit for the Bombing of the Jedi Temple!" he accused.
Master Yoda nodded as he looked to Anakin. "Apologized, we have, for the wrong accusation against Ahsoka Tano." He stated. Anakin sighed and looked over to Obi-Wan. "Right now, I am concerned for her sudden disappearance from this galaxy! Think about what she's done for all of us!" he yelled. Mace Windu then sent Anakin a glare, causing him to straighten up his position and calm down his attitude. "Still, it was us that put this shadow of guilt upon her, and we should be at least concerned for her own safety." Anakin added on, concluding his speech to the Council.
Master Plo Koon nodded at this and stood up to walk over to Anakin calmly. "Knight Skywalker is correct. When I found Little 'Soka on Shili, I had such a hard time letting go of her, and I still do today." The Kel Dor Jedi stated. Shaak Ti stood up and walked towards the two Jedi. "Ahsoka meant a lot to us, and we should at least do anything we can for her in return." The older Togrutan Jedi added on. Obi-Wan looked to the rest of the Council and nodded. "Anakin is right this time. If Ahsoka is to be brought back to us, then we must put all the resources we have into finding her." He stated. Master Windu looked to Master Yoda, who nodded at this statement. "Find Ahsoka, we will." He stated. Mace Windu nodded and looked up. "Then it is decided. We will put all of our resources into finding Ahsoka, using connections with all Republic allies to find Padawan Tano." He stated. Anakin smiled and bowed to the Council respectively. "Thank you for your time, Masters." He thanked the Council. With that, the meeting was adjourned, and Anakin left to find Chancellor Palpatine.
Earth-16, Mount Justice 1152 hours
At Mount Justice, the Team was relaxing from a barrage of missions that had come their way over the past month. From stopping an ORDER operation going on in the Philippines right to meeting and befriending Ice to stop Kadaj and his brothers in Norway, everything was starting to feel exhausting. M'gann walked into the Lounge with a tray of cookies and smiled to her friends. "Who wants cookies?" she asked happily. The Team all smiled and started to overlap with excited voices, running over to the female Martian to get some of her delicious cookies. M'gann smiled at everyone and started to think to herself happily. Ever since Ahsoka got here, things have started to look up. She thought cheerfully.
Just then, the Zeta Tubes started to light up. The Team looked over to them as the yellow light started to glow, with the computer announcing its arrivers. Recognized Ahsoka Tano B-1-1. The computer announced as Ahsoka ran into the Cave. The Team was nonetheless very excited to see her, but they were also surprised when Ahsoka ran over and panted as she pulled up a holocomputer. "Override access Ahsoka Tano: B-1-1!" she ordered, letting the Zeta Tubes light up again. Access override granted: Green Lantern A-0-6, Starfire A-0-7. The AI announced, letting Kyle and Koriand'r enter the Cave.
M'gann gasped as she and Robin looked over to the Togrutan. "Are you crazy?!" the Boy Wonder asked. Miss Martian panted as she started to shake Ahsoka by the shoulders. "You know that Batman would probably kill and bury you for bringing in other heroes without his consent!" she added on. Ahsoka let go of the grasp M'gann placed on her and started to place the same hold on her Martian friend. "M'gann, Dick, listen! Syrena wasn't affected at all when we did the Jedi Mind Trick on her, and she's been lying to us about her powers!" the Togrutan exclaimed. Aqualad and Zatanna ran over anxiously as they started to furrow their brows in confusion.
"What do you mean?" the Atlantean questioned as Kyle and Kori flew over. Ahsoka looked to the Team and nodded. "Think about it! How many male League members are there in contrast to all the female League members?" she asked. The Team started to think about it and after a while, M'gann gasped. "Syrena's after the entire male Leaguers!" she exclaimed. Ahsoka nodded at this while Serra kicked a wall. "I can't believe I never sensed that!" she complained. Ahsoka looked over to her and then saw that Zatanna was having the same feelings. "We all make mistakes, so there's no pressure." Ahsoka stated, trying to ease up the situation.
At that moment, the Zeta Tubes started to light up. Recognized Black Canary 1-3, Wonder Woman 0-3. The computer announced as Black Canary darted into the room, followed by Wonder Woman. After they came in, Black Canary stopped and panted. The Team, plus the two extra members, Kyle and Koriand'r, looked to Dinah with confusion as she stopped to catch her breath. "What is it, Dinah?" Serra asked. Black Canary continued to pant as she sent a glare over to the human Jedi. "First off, never call me by my–" She started out, but soon sighed in defeat as she shook it off. "Never mind, just do what you please." Black Canary droned, but she showed a hint of anger in her voice. This was enough to get Serra to step back as Canary continued to pant before looking over to M'gann.
Before Black Canary could go on, she and Diana took notice of Kyle and Starfire and raised their eyebrows in confusion. "Who are they?" Dinah asked. Ahsoka sighed as she looked to the two heroes and then to the Team and the two female League members. "Dick, Kaldur, Wally, Connor, M'gann, Artemis, Zatanna, Rocket, Serra, Saw, Jaybo, Black Canary, Wonder Woman, meet Green Lantern Kyle Rayner and Koriand'r, also known as Starfire." She started out quickly before looking to her new friends and taking another deep breath before speaking again. "Kyle, Koriand'r, meet Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian, Artemis, Zatanna, Rocket, Serra, Gerrera, Drol, Black Canary and Wonder Woman, and that's Martian Manhunter unconscious with the Amazon Wonder." Ahsoka stated, gesturing over to Wonder Woman carrying J'onn on her shoulder. The Team, the female League members, Kyle and Starfire all awed with understanding before the Bird of Prey went on to what she was going to say to Miss Martian.
"Syrena rendered your uncle unconscious!" she exclaimed. Megan gasped as she looked over to Diana, carrying J'onn's body over her shoulder. Ahsoka gasped as well and placed a comforting hand on M'gann's shoulder, trying to calm her down. M'gann just stood there and panted as she clenched her fist. She broke free of Ahsoka and started to make her way to the Zeta Tube. "I'm coming, Uncle J'onn!" she yelled, entering the teleportation system and into the Watchtower with the computer announcing her name as she departed.
M'gann raced across the Watchtower frantically as she thought of nothing but her uncle's safety and what would happen when she got her hands on Syrena. Batman and Superman both looked to her concernedly as she flew over to the cell and saw that Alakshmi was still in her place, only with her eyes closed. Megan growled as she opened up the door to the cell and cut off the restraints holding her in place. "Alakshmi, what did you do to my uncle?!" she demanded. Syrena gave no response whatsoever, causing the female Martian to growl even more. She then threw Syrena to a wall and proceeded to blast him with mental attacks, as well as punch and kick at her.
Meanwhile, back at the Cave, Black Canary sat down next to Serra while Wonder Woman tended to J'onn's scars. Serra could see some disappointment on Dinah's face and soon got to her point. "What's wrong, Black Canary?" Serra asked concernedly. Dinah sighed as she looked over to Serra with a slight smile. "Thank you for finally calling me by my real name, Serra." She sarcastically quipped. Serra rolled her eyes and punched Black Canary slightly in the shoulder. "What's wrong? Don't hide anything from me." She reiterated. Dinah sighed as she looked to the Jedi. "Those days ago, when I was up with Green Arrow on our date, there was this singer at the restaurant we went to. I should have known from the start that it was Syrena who sung the song that put a trance on Batman, Superman and Green Arrow that night." She admitted. Serra sighed and placed a hand on the older heroine's shoulder. "Stop beating yourself up." She curtly scolded. "We were all blind to the trick, and I assure you, it won't happen again." The Shan added on. Black Canary smiled to Serra, who returned the favor soon after.
As the two smiled and talked with each other, Martian Manhunter started to awaken. Starfire took notice to him and raised an eyebrow. "Something's not right here." She stated to the Team. At that moment, J'onn got up and blasted Koriand'r away. "Kori, no!" Kyle yelled. He then looked angrily to the Martian and started to blast energy from his ring, but not even that could stop him. Wonder Woman growled and started to charge at the rogue Martian, looking to Serra and Drol in affirmation to attack.
After a while of letting out her anger on Syrena, M'gann stopped and panted as Alakshmi dropped to the ground, groaning and panting with exhaustion. M'gann continued to growl as she took notice of the ORDER operative trying to crawl away. "Get back here, witch!" she yelled, grabbing her by the head. She then held her head back and looked her in the eye. "I'll give you one more chance!" she exclaimed angrily, only gaining some moans from Syrena in response. "What… did… you… do to my uncle?!" she yelled. Syrena looked up and groaned before panting and spitting out blood. "I'm… here, M'gann." Alakshmi stated. M'gann gasped at this as Syrena started to change shape. To M'gann's surprise, Syrena was actually J'onn! M'gann panted as she started to check for his heartbeat. "Oh, Uncle, I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed sadly.
At that moment, J'onn woke up and looked to his niece happily. "You just did what you felt you needed to do, M'gann." He stated. M'gann smiled and hugged her uncle tightly, but let go after hearing some moans. J'onn then looked up to M'gann and panted. "Syrena has the ability to take over the minds of male members of the League!" he exclaimed. M'gann then gasped at this and nodded. "Ahsoka told us already, Uncle. There's no need to worry." She reassured him. Just then, she started to think about what happened earlier. If Black Canary and Wonder Woman came in with Uncle J'onn while Uncle J'onn is really here, then that means that… M'gann thought as realization hit her in the head. She looked down to Martian Manhunter and gasped. "Uncle J'onn, Syrena's down at the Cave!" she exclaimed.
M'gann was indeed correct. Black Canary was suddenly thrown into Red Tornado while Wonder Woman was tossed into the ceiling, followed by Serra and Jaybo being knocked to the side. The Team all gasped at who they thought was Martian Manhunter as he walked towards the Zeta Tubes. Kyle shot an energy blast from his ring as Kori shot another blast with him. Martian Manhunter looked up and narrowly dodged the blasts, but soon dialed at the holocomputers as the Team stood ready to take him on. "You're too late, Team!" he exclaimed. Serra and Artemis both helped up the elder heroes while the rest of the Team stood their ground against the traitor.
At that moment, J'onn started to change shape, back into the traitor's real form: Syrena! She looked to the shocked Team as she looked to her nails and sighed. "When you hang around a dark magician for a while, you start to pick up a few tricks." She quipped to the Team. Starfire smirked and started to light up her hands. "When you're a scoundrel, you're always bound to lose!" she quipped back, sending a series of blasts towards the Persian ORDER operative. Syrena unsheathed a sword and then sent the blast aside, but Kyle soon flew forwards to send Alakshmi a punch at her, sending her into the wall as the halls filled with the sound of air whooshing by.
Soon, M'gann and J'onn came in from the Zeta Tube from the other side of the Cave and stood with the Team as Syrena stood there with her arms wide open, chuckling evilly. "You can fight me, but can you get through my army?" she asked snippily. At that moment, all the male members of the Justice League, albeit Martian Manhunter, Red Tornado and Doctor Fate, entered the Cave, standing behind Syrena, as if they were awaiting orders. Alakshmi laughed and pointed one of her blades towards the Team. "Kill them all!" she ordered. Every male member nodded and started to run towards the Team.
The Team all gasped as they were being attacked by the Justice League. Robin was once again taking on Batman while Superboy was up against Superman for the second time. Artemis had to take on Green Arrow while Wally was up against his uncle. Aqualad clashed multiple times with his king, Aquaman, before sending a blast from his Water-Bearer to help Rocket fend off against Icon. The Green Lanterns started to blast upon Drol, but Kyle was able to get him out of the way just in time. Jaybo looked up and smiled at the Green Lantern boy. "Thanks, Kyle." He said. Kyle saluted as he joined up with Starfire to take on the two older Green Lanterns.
Syrena looked to the odds and gritted her teeth angrily. She then looked over to Captain Marvel and nodded. Soon, the young and eccentric captain started to dash towards Ahsoka and Serra, who were fighting against Hawkman and the Green Lanterns. At that moment, Ahsoka was bear hugged by Billy, who then used his lightning powers to electrocute her. Starfire and Kyle pushed away the two Lanterns as they took notice of Ahsoka. They gasped as the Togrutan yelled in pain as she was being blasted with electricity.
Starfire started to grit her teeth as she took notice of this. She threw Hal Jordan into the Atom and flew over towards where Ahsoka was struggling and grabbed the captain by the cape. "Stay away from her!" Kori exclaimed, blasting him with pure energy. Billy screamed in pain as Koriand'r flew down to check up on Ahsoka. "Are you alright?" she asked anxiously. Ahsoka rubbed the back of her neck and looked to Kori with a smile. She nodded as Starfire helped her up to her feet. "What took you so long?" she joked.
Just then, Kyle was thrown off to the side by his two mentors as Zatanna and Miss Martian were flung away by Plasticman. The Team, Starfire and Kyle, the female members of the League, Doctor Fate, Martian Manhunter and Red Tornado all regrouped with each other as Syrena started to near them with her blades alongside Batman. "You should have given in to the ORDER when you had the chance, kiddies." She quipped. Robin panted as he looked from his mentor to the Hawks. "Retreat!" Aqualad ordered. Robin nodded as he threw down a smoke pellet, causing smoke to appear. Superman soon breathed in the smoke and let his mistress look around for the Team. They had vanished into thin air. Alakshmi growled and looked to the League and nodded. "Find and kill them." She ordered.
Expanded Universe, Chancellor's Office…
Chancellor Palpatine watched all the battles of the Republic going on at the moment while thinking about the mysterious appearance of the ORDER and its operatives who appeared at the Jedi Temple a while back. He then looked to Mas Amedda and nodded. "In order to keep up the war and get our plans in motion, then we must make our move while we can." He stated. Mas Amedda nodded and walked out the door. The Supreme Chancellor hadn't felt this much power in a long time. He promised the Senate that he would keep the war going until the Separatist Alliance was no more, but there was still something missing from his plans.
Just then, Anakin Skywalker walked into the Chancellor's office. Palpatine turned his chair around and looked to the Jedi Knight with a smile on his face. "Anakin, it's been quite a while now." He stated. Anakin said nothing and just looked the Supreme Chancellor in the eyes. "Is something wrong, my boy?" he asked. Anakin sighed and looked out the window before addressing the Chancellor. "Chancellor Palpatine, you supported me when I first came to the Temple." The Chosen One stated. Palpatine stuttered and nodded at this statement. "Are you still concerned about the disappearance of your Padawan, Ahsoka Tano?" he asked. Anakin looked around and nodded. "I now need you to help me find Ahsoka, with any resource you have." He stated.
The Supreme Chancellor stuttered at this thought and walked over to Anakin to look out the window with him. "Anakin, if your Padawan knows who taught her best, then she'll know a way to come back home." He reasoned. Anakin growled softly and shook his head. "Forgive me, Chancellor, but even with the assignments you give me, as well as the ones that the Jedi Council gives me, I need you to help me find my Padawan." He stated. Once again, the Chancellor stuttered. "We must focus on what is important at the time being rather than a wild Bantha Chase." He spat, but Anakin suddenly turned around and activated his blue lightsaber blade, pointing it to Palpatine's neck. "I want you… to help me… find Ahsoka!" he exclaimed thoroughly. The Supreme Chancellor sighed as he and Anakin started to circle each other. "Very well, Anakin. If that is what you wish, then I shall do whatever it takes to help you find your missing Padawan apprentice." Palpatine said. Anakin smiled and walked out the door, saying, "Thank you, Chancellor!"
As soon as Anakin left, Palpatine sat back down on his seat and growled softly. "I cannot have an apprentice who is focused too much on what matters to him!" he exclaimed very angrily. He then looked to the spot where Anakin stood with his lightsaber activated and grinned. "I'll help you find Ahsoka, my boy, but I need to get to her first." He quipped. He then remained silent for the rest of the afternoon as Mas Amedda walked back into the room, where the Supreme Chancellor started to give him orders on helping with the search for Ahsoka Tano.
Earth-16, Mount Justice 1426 hours…
Hawkman and Jon Stewart turned a corner into the Kitchen as they searched for the Team and their friends. So far, no one had found anything. The two male heroes growled as they found that nothing was there as well. Carter looked over to Jon and nodded, as they both split up to search for the Team in separate directions. Soon after, the Flash and Superman turned the corner and joined up with the two to search for the Team. "Find them so that Syrena can kill them!" Superman yelled out.
As soon as the four left, Ahsoka and Miss Martian came out of their hiding places and bumped fists with each other happily. "That sold it." Ahsoka exclaimed. M'gann nodded as she set up a Psychic Link with the other members of the Team. "We've lost them for now, but they'll be back soon." M'gann reported to Aqualad, who was hiding in the lake of the Hangar Bay. "We attack them when the time is right, everyone." Kaldur'ahm reminded the Team. Everyone gave some shouts of approval as they continued to hide from the elder male members of the Justice League.
After the Team had finished their talk with each other, M'gann and Ahsoka started to search the Cave for any more signs of the League. While they were searching, M'gann set up her own Psychic Link with Ahsoka. "Ahsoka, can I ask a question?" she asked politely. Ahsoka looked around the area, trying to find any more male League members, and when she saw that the coast was clear, she shrugged and turned back to M'gann. "Sure, what would you like to talk about?" she replied back.
M'gann started to play with her hair before getting onto the topic. "Tell me more about the Jedi, about how they come to be." She requested. Ahsoka chuckled and then sighed as she looked to her best friend caringly. "You start out on the path to being a Jedi by starting out as a Youngling. You are brought to the Jedi Temple, a giant temple that towers over every building in a city, even bigger than probably Mount Fuji or the Statue of Liberty." Ahsoka stated, causing M'gann to physically awe in wonder. Ahsoka chuckled and started to go on with her story. "Younglings are trained from childbirth until they are eventually promoted to the rank of Padawan, where a Jedi Knight trains them to become more experienced enough to become a Jedi Knight themselves." Ahsoka added on.
The young female Martian looked over to Ahsoka curiously and chuckled. "Why aren't you a Jedi Knight yet?" she asked. Ahsoka sighed and started to tap her foot as she looked around the corner before turning back to M'gann to answer her question. "I started out my times in the Clone Wars as a Padawan, but I was expelled from the Jedi Order before I could reach my promotion to Jedi Knight." Ahsoka explained. M'gann gasped and started to place her hands on Ahsoka's shoulders. "I'm so sorry I asked, Ahsoka!" she exclaimed. M'gann had thought that Ahsoka would be upset, but she just smiled and sighed. "There's no problem, my friend. I've been a Padawan for a while, and I've always been waiting for the day when I would become a Jedi Knight." Ahsoka reassured her. Ahsoka sighed as she sat down on the ground with M'gann following after her. Seeing as there was no one there, the two decided to end the Psychic Link.
"My master always told me about the day he became an official Jedi Knight." Ahsoka stated to her Martian friend. M'gann leaned in closer so that she could hear the rest of the story. "Tell me what happened!" she exclaimed softly. Ahsoka chuckled and looked to her. "He said that when he was called to the Jedi Council, a group of twelve, strong and honorable Jedi Masters, he thought that he would be scolded for another delay, but when he found out that he was going to be promoted to a Jedi Knight, he was speechless!" Ahsoka told M'gann, causing her to gasp slightly. Ahsoka chuckled before she went on. "Our Grand Master, Yoda, knighted Anakin." She added on.
M'gann smiled and looked to Ahsoka with much curiosity. "How does a Knighting Ceremony go?" she asked. Ahsoka smiled and started to brush aside her Montrals, revealing her braid. "Padawan braids were always the sign of a Padawan, but when the Jedi Council decides to promote you, you get to lose it." She stated. M'gann just nodded as Ahsoka started to continue her story. "Anyways, when Anakin entered the Jedi Council Chambers, Yoda knighted him with these words." She started out, causing M'gann to squeal a bit. "Well, what are they?" she asked.
Ahsoka chuckled and tapped the female Martian on the shoulder. "This is how the Jedi would always knight a new Jedi." She explained, starting to alternate the positions of her finger from one shoulder to another. M'gann raised an eyebrow in confusion before Ahsoka explained, "It's done with a lightsaber, calmly tapping each side of the shoulder." M'gann nodded with understanding as Ahsoka began to recite the Knighting Oath. "By the right of the Council, by the will of the Force, I dub thee Jedi Knight of the Republic." Ahsoka uttered. M'gann smiled after Ahsoka imitated the oath and its movements as Ahsoka lifted her finger off of M'gann's shoulder. "That's how my master did it. His braid was cut off after Master Yoda recited it and I very much wish to be a Jedi Knight someday." She stated. M'gann nodded as she patted Ahsoka on the back. "It'll come to you one day." She promised her friend. Ahsoka smiled at this and knocked her arm against M'gann's, grinning to each other.
Just then, Kyle Rayner, Starfire, Serra and Artemis ran up to them. Ahsoka and M'gann both gasped as they turned around to see what the four had to say. "What is it?" Ahsoka asked curiously. Starfire looked down to Ahsoka and sighed. "The League has given up and I think that Syrena's trying to lure us out another way." She informed them. At that moment, the feedback of the speakers came on. Ahsoka silently cursed to herself as the voice of Syrena started to echo throughout the Cave.
"Ahsoka Tano, if you can hear me, then I am still in control of your Leaguers. Your Team must surrender you to me, or else I will have them kill themselves, suicide." She darkly announced. The Team all looked up to the speakers and growled as Ahsoka started to clench her fist. "You have five minutes to comply." Alakshmi added on. With that, the announcement ended as Ahsoka started to stand up. "That's enough." She stated. The Team soon regrouped with them as she looked to the Team and nodded. "Syrena's mine." She proclaimed. She then looked to the Team and nodded. "I'll need some help to pull this off." She told her friends. Everyone nodded as Ahsoka started to make her way towards the Control Room, where Syrena and her brainwashed army were waiting for her.
Syrena stood in the main Control Room with the rest of the male Leaguers and waited very impatiently, using Batman's belt to sharpen the blades of her sword. She growled softly at the holdup and threw the belt at the blank-minded Batman, who fell immediately afterwards and into Superman. "Five minutes are up." She said to herself. She then looked to each of the male members of the League. "Which one of you should I kill first?" she asked in a sadistic tone. Captain Marvel soon stepped up and took a deep breath. "Shazam!" he yelled deadpan, turning into Billy Batson. Alakshmi smirked and picked the child up by the collar. "I will enjoy this!" she exclaimed, holding back her sword and preparing to kill the captain with the rest of the Justice League watching stoic.
Just then, a blast was sent towards Syrena's sword hand. Alakshmi let go of her sword as she turned to see who had attacked. "Who dares?!" she demanded. The rest of the males looked around as they started to hear the sound of footsteps approaching. Everyone turned to see Ahsoka with her arm-mounted crossbow drawn, aimed at Syrena and glaring daggers at her as well. Alakshmi chuckled and roughly dropped Billy, letting him grunt when he hit the ground. "I didn't think you'd make it." She stated. Ahsoka scoffed and shook her head in disagreement. "I never run away from a fight." She proclaimed. She then held her hands at her sides, preparing to unsheathe her hilts. "Now, let them go, or you'll be in for a world of pain!" she threatened. Syrena laughed at this threat and placed a hand on her hip. "Is that a threat, Red?" she asked sadistically. Ahsoka remained silent as the Persian soldier just shook her head in disproval. "Kill her." She ordered to Batman. The Dark Knight nodded as he stepped up to attack the Togrutan female. Ahsoka looked from side to side before she turned back to Batman, who was preparing to throw his batarangs.
Ahsoka watched as Batman threw about six batarangs at her. She gasped and leaned to the side, dodging the incoming boomerangs. She then took notice to the batarangs returning to attack her again. "You can't hide from me forever!" Syrena taunted. Ahsoka smirked as she ran over to the batarangs, jumping over all of them and then Force-Grabbing Batman towards her. The Dark Knight gasped as the batarangs hit him instead of her! Both she and Batman landed on the ground, with the Dark Knight standing up and growling at her. Alakshmi gasped at this and growled as she pointed her blades over to Icon and Superman. "Get her!" she commanded. The two nodded as they attempted a pincer attack on the Togrutan Padawan. The Man of Steel tried to blast her with heat-vision from his eyes, but Ahsoka used Force Deflection to knock the blast aside and then punched him in the face with an offhand backhand, knocking him into the ground, where he began to charge at Ahsoka. Icon attempted to attack her from the left, but she grabbed him by the wrist and flipped him over to the ground.
Syrena growled even more at this. She looked over to the Green Lanterns and nodded. "Restrain her!" she ordered. The two Green Lanterns then charged at Ahsoka, but right then, Kyle Rayner and Starfire flew over and tackled them. Syrena gasped as she saw Ahsoka continuously nearing her with her swords drawn dangerously. She then kicked Captain Marvel, now as Billy Batson, over to the Togrutan, but she Force-Grabbed him, sending him safely to the wall and next to Black Canary. Green Arrow attempted to shoot an arrow at the Jedi, but Artemis pinned him to the wall as Superboy and Robin leapt in and restrained their mentors, who were trying to get Ahsoka from a higher ground. Rocket created a bubble around Icon while Syrena then looked over to the Flash. "Cut off her oxygen, Barry." She demanded. Barry nodded as he started to run circles around Ahsoka. The Togrutan looked at the speedster with a stoic expression and jumped into the air, spreading out her arms and sending out a Force Repulse. The Flash was soon sent back and sent to the ground by Kid Flash.
Alakshmi growled even further and looked to Plasticman, Hawkman, Aquaman and the Atom angrily. "Do something about that pest!" she vexingly ordered. The four nodded and ran in to attack, but Aquaman was met by Aqualad, Hawkman by Shayera, M'gann and Serra, Plasticman by Red Tornado and Black Canary while the Atom was squeezed tight by Wonder Woman and unable to grow size to escape by Zatanna and Doctor Fate. Syrena gasped that the Team had taken down her army, and even more that Ahsoka was now close enough to stab at her eyes. "You're done for, Syrena!" she yelled. Syrena growled at this and just activated the crystals in her blade, in which Ahsoka replied by activating her lightsabers. The two stood in a standoff, waiting for one or the other to attack. As soon as a lamp from the ceiling fell, the two started to run towards each other, now letting the battle begin.
Ahsoka growled as she attacked first with a Shien strike, followed by Syrena using a Niman slash to twirl around and send a slash to Ahsoka's chest, but she blocked with an Ataru defensive stance as she used a series of Makashi stabs to get Alakshmi off balance. The two then started to use Shii-Cho slashes at each other after performing spins in the air and landing back on the ground to attack each other. Ahsoka's left lightsaber fell out as Syrena's right blade was sent hurtling over to the side. Ahsoka and Syrena then lifted their blades into the air, performing swift Ataru surges at each other. Soon, the two clashed downwards as they ran to regain their weapons. As soon as they regained their blades, Syrena jumped into the air and attempted a Vaapad stab at the Togrutan, but the young Padawan was able to dodge and knock her with the back of her hilt into the halls.
Syrena growled as the two continued to battle. As much as it tempted Ahsoka, she resisted the urge to use Vaapad. Oh, how that form is cursed! She thought to herself before getting back to the battle. She grabbed Syrena by the shoulder and started to twirl her around in order to get a better hold on her for attack. Before she could attack, though, Syrena started to use Vaapad against Ahsoka, now using Niman and Shien techniques to fend off Syrena's onslaught. She then pushed Ahsoka into the Souvenir Room, where she tried to behead her. Ahsoka ducked from the attack and then Force-Lifted Wally's souvenir from Yellowstone, a robotic hand, towards Alakshmi. Syrena growled and slashed it apart ad Ahsoka threw the next souvenir, a baby bottle from the Light's plan to split two dimensions apart, into the ORDER operative's face. Syrena squealed as she started to use a sai as an arrow to try and skewer the Togrutan. Ahsoka gasped at this and jumped into the air, where Syrena soon threw Artemis's arrow at her. Ahsoka caught the arrow and placed it onto her belt, using the Force to throw Sportsmaster's mask at Alakshmi, knocking her off balance and to the ground while Ahsoka made her escape.
Alakshmi looked to the Togrutan vexingly as she ran after her. "You can't hide from me!" she yelled madly, scraping her blades along the walls and the floors. Ahsoka looked back and smirked. "There's more to me than meets your eyes!" she quipped, running into the Kitchen. Alakshmi laughed and levitated all the knives in the drawers into the air. Ahsoka looked to the scene with nervousness as Syrena then threw every knife at her. Luckily for the Togrutan, she was able to jump and dodge every one of them while grabbing several plates and tossing them at Syrena, catching her off guard once again. Syrena growled and slashed at the switch, turning on the stove. Ahsoka's eyes widened with surprise as she let the heat burn her blades, followed by an endless barrage of Juyo slashes from the now burning blades. Before Syrena could cause any more damage, Ahsoka levitated the TV and several trays towards Alakshmi, sending her to the ground. Ahsoka then attempted to finish the job by stabbing where Syrena lay, but she broke the television off and threw a tray into Ahsoka's face, causing her to stumble back and allow Alakshmi to try and stab her. Ahsoka gasped at this and skimmed the Persian's hair with the tray, Force-Throwing her into the halls again.
Now, the two females started to battle in Ahsoka's own room. Ahsoka ran away from one of Syrena's Makashi jabs and threw her mirror towards her. Alakshmi slashed it apart as she threw her wooden wardrobe next. Syrena slashed it apart as after came a desk and some hangars. As soon as Alakshmi was done slashing those, Ahsoka Force-Threw her own bed towards her, sending her into M'gann's room. Syrena threw an iPad, followed by about two pillows, but Ahsoka jumped over them all and sent M'gann's mirror at her. Syrena gasped as the shining object hit her all over her body, causing the splinters to scar her body and let some blood drop. Syrena then used the remaining pieces of the mirror to throw at Ahsoka, and she was scarred as well.
Ahsoka Force-Gripped Alakshmi into the air and sent her into Connor's room, where they sent workout equipment and Superboy T-Shirts at each other before going on into Serra's room. As soon as the two finished throwing holo-projectors and old lightsaber parts at each other, Ahsoka was tossed into Saw's room, where they levitated many of his blasters and gunned each other down. Syrena laughed as she saw Ahsoka run from many of the shots coming out from the blasters, but the Togrutan soon disappeared.
Syrena raised an eyebrow in confusion as to what had happened until Ahsoka appeared behind her and knocked her into Jaybo's room with the holster of one of his shotguns. When in Jaybo's room, Alakshmi started to use many metal parts to try and skewer Ahsoka, but she was wise to this trick and started to use Jaybo's desk as a shield. She then started to run towards Alakshmi with the desk as they both ran into Zatanna's room. Syrena growled and threw some spell books at her, but Ahsoka slashed them aside and started to counter by tossing many of Zatanna's old clothes at her, blinding the Persian ORDER operative for just a split second. When Syrena got one of Zatanna's shirts off of her face, Ahsoka charged into her and slammed her into the Waterfall Room.
Ahsoka started to encircle her arms as she let the water from the waterfall come out and use it against Syrena. Syrena shrieked as she was thrown into the Hangar Bay, where she saw the Togrutan jump from her Starfighter to the Bioship, eventually landing on top of Syrena and leg-locking her, throwing her into the water below. Syrena looked to Sphere rolling by and lifted her into the air, smirking evilly to Ahsoka, now gasping. "Ahsoka, CATCH!" Syrena yelled madly, sending Sphere towards her. Ahsoka grinned and carefully held Sphere in the air with one finger, gently placing her on the ground. She then looked back to Syrena as she started to slash water up to her. Ahsoka sent the water back and jumped down towards the ORDER operative. She then reached for the Tano and grabbed a couple of MagnaGuard staffs, using them to push Syrena down to the ground. Alakshmi gasped at this and attempted to break off, but the staffs continued to press against her. Soon, Syrena was gasping for air as she was now being drowned in the water by Ahsoka's use of the Force. The Togrutan then flicked her wrist, and with a use of the Force, she used the staffs to electrocute the water, only hearing a drowned scream coming from Alakshmi. Ahsoka looked to the scene and started to walk away. "You gave me no choice." She stated; reaching for the deactivation switches on her lightsabers.
Just then, Syrena leapt back out of the deep end and started to slash at Ahsoka once again. Ahsoka saw this coming as she was thrown to the ground. As Syrena was about to stab at the Togrutan, Ahsoka used all of her limbs to grab Syrena and throw her back into the halls and into the Mission Room, where the rest of the Team and the League were. Kyle and Kori looked to the ORDER operative as she dripped with water and blood while Ahsoka started to near her with her lightsabers activated once again. "It all comes down to this, then." Syrena stated. Ahsoka scoffed and wiped off some dirt from her shoulder. "You took the words right out of my mouth!" she quipped back. The Team and the League both watched as both of the female warriors started to prepare their swords again for battle.
All of a sudden, after a while, Ahsoka started to charge towards Syrena, in which Syrena started to charge at Ahsoka. The two yelled as they used Force Speed to dash at each other with their blades drawn dangerously. Soon, Ahsoka passed Syrena, and Syrena passed Ahsoka, and they both got onto one knee soon after. The Team and the League watched as both of the girls panted after using up so much energy. Ahsoka kept her stance, ready and calm, but Syrena gasped and fell to the ground, gasping as she held her chest. She groaned in pain while Ahsoka started to near her. "I win." She proclaimed, placing her lightsaber up to her neck. The Team watched in horror as Ahsoka contemplated on what to do. Alakshmi looked up and scoffed exhaustedly. "Go on, do it." She urged the Togrutan. The rest of the Team shook their heads no, but Ahsoka panted angrily.
Finally, after some thinking, Ahsoka deactivated her lightsaber and picked Syrena up by her silver hair. "Get out." She threateningly ordered, dropping her to the ground soon after. The Team all smiled as Syrena got up. "By honor code, I surrender." She stated. Ahsoka looked back and smirked. Alakshmi's eyes then started to glow as she continued to speak. "As is such, my control over the Justice League ends as well." She added on. At that moment, all the male members of the League started to snap out of their trance, looking around them in confusion. Syrena looked Ahsoka in the eye as she growled deeply at her. "You may have won against me, but you'll never defeat the ORDER itself!" she spat before disappearing into a cloud of gold feathers.
As soon as Syrena left, Ahsoka dropped to the ground and panted heavily. M'gann flew up to her anxiously as she helped her keep consciousness. "You did well, Ahsoka." She stated. Ahsoka looked up and smiled. "Thank you, M'gann." She said. The rest of the League and the Team looked to the two happily while Batman kept a stoic expression. Kyle and Starfire looked to each other and nodded. They looked to Ahsoka and smiled before Koriand'r said, "We should go now." With that, the two left while the rest of the Team went to work getting the Cave back to how it was.

Alakshmi bowed down before Sylas sadly as she returned from her undercover mission. Sylas looked down to her sadly as she let a tear fall from her eye. "Forgive me, Lord Sylas, but the Padawan overwhelmed me, and I was forced to retreat." She stated, but only gained some low growls from her master. "Alakshmi, I send you to do this, this one simple thing, and you blow it." He curtly scolded. Syrena kept her head facing towards the ground as she prepared for the worst.
Much to her surprise, Sylas helped her up. Syrena gasped and looked to Sylas confusingly as the Terror Titans and the rest of the ORDER generals watched with shock. "You lasted long enough to show my daughter that you are a better example than any of the others who had failed me." He remarked. Syrena thought about it for a moment before smirking and bowing respectively to Sylas again. "Thank you, my master." She said as she saw Xion come out from the shadows. Sylas walked away with both of the girls and smiled. "You will now teach Xion everything there is to know about what will lay ahead for her." He instructed. Alakshmi turned around and smiled. "It will be my honor, my master." She stated before walking off with Xion into the training room. Sylas smirked and chuckled as he dismissed everyone else from the room.
Mount Justice 2345 hours ETC
Later on, after the Cave was cleaned and put back together, Ahsoka came out of the shower and into her room. She let out a big yawn as the moon started to set in. She locked her new door as she took of her towel to change. She started to first place on her stockings, followed by her crimson dress and then her red boots and then her golden belt. As she placed on her shirt, she started to reach for her lightsabers. For some reason, she could only feel her arm-mounted crossbow, but not her bladed weapons. Where are my lightsabers? She asked herself anxiously.
Just then, there was a knock on the door. Ahsoka looked to the door and then walked over to open it. To her surprise was Billy, now sporting a cast and a crutch. "Billy, what's going on?" she asked. The young eccentric captain smiled as he gestured his head over to where the Mission Room was. "The Team's there, waiting for you." He explained before limping off. Ahsoka raised an eyebrow as she walked out the door to follow her friend.
When Billy reached the Mission Room, Ahsoka came in as well. "Wow, it seems dark in here." She said out loud. Just then, the sounds of lightsabers activating caught her attention. Ahsoka looked around to see that the twelve other members of the Team were standing around her, placing lightsabers up to their chests and looking to Ahsoka with smiles on their faces. Ahsoka laughed happily as Serra sent Ahsoka a friendly smile. M'gann then cleared her throat, holding Ahsoka's lightsaber in her hand and said, "Step forward, Young Padawan."
Ahsoka smiled and nodded as she walked towards her best friend and bowed before her. "Ahsoka Tano, by the Right of the Council, by the Will of the Force, I dub thee Jedi…" M'gann started out before slicing off the Togrutan's braid. "Knight of Earth, Knight of the Republic." M'gann finished up. Ahsoka smiled as she stood up proudly, feeling like a Jedi Knight already. She then looked to M'gann and smiled. "With your wisdom, you should be praised back in my universe as Master M'orzz." She stated. The lights turned back on as M'gann started to stutter with happiness. "Thank you!" she exclaimed. Ahsoka shook her head no as she embraced her Martian friend. "No, thank you." She replied back. The Team started to enjoy the moment as they kept the rest of the day going, talking about how they were able to prepare for this occasion.
From the shadows, a freed Batman watched everything unfold. "Seeing as how far Ahsoka has progressed, she may not be such a bad person after all." He said to himself. He had a slight smile on his face, but after some time, it wore off. "Then again, I could be wrong, or I could be right." He added on before leaving.
The Team took no notice of Batman as he left, even when the computer announced his departure. It was only the best moment for them as they could finally do something to enlighten Ahsoka as a friend, and for Ahsoka to make her friends happy that day. Nothing can go wrong. Ahsoka thought to herself as she embraced M'gann more. For the rest of the night, the Team was silent, and all was well.

As part of my celebration for how long I have been able to keep this story up, this is by far, my best and most epic chapter I have ever written! I hope that everyone liked it very much!
