Chapter 38: It Runs In The Family

Central City June 8th 1437 hours EST

School was now over for everyone, and summer had now arrived. While families walked around, either shopping or spending quality time, a father and his son sat at the food court, the father reading a newspaper while his son was drinking a smoothie. While the boy, Greg, was drinking, the sight of a large stream of clay caught his attention. He stopped drinking and looked over to his father. "Dad, your not gonna believe it, but a big, black, icky gunk-thing coming out the floor, and it's getting bigger and bigger like a big balloon!" he exclaimed, but his father just looked up from his newspaper and sent a glare towards his son. "Gregory Weismann, have you been drinking too much sugar again?" he asked tiredly.

Just then, the stream of clay started to emerge into a humanoid figure. Everyone screamed at the sight of Clayface, now taking refuge in Central City. Out of him soon came Captain Boomerang and Magenta. The magnet-powered female flew into the air as the captain looked around and laughed. "Look out, mates! The Rogues are now coming back to you!" he exclaimed before tossing a boomerang into the air towards the lights. Magenta flew around, patrolling the area for any authorities while Clayface slithered around in his clay form. All three cornered the civilians, now cowering in fear as he looked to each and every one of them.

"Your valuables, now!" he demanded. Captain Boomerang smiled as he walked through Clayface towards the bystanders. "That's right, blokes! It's all for a bloody good cause: me!" he spat, forcing jewelry and money out of everyone. "So give till it you die, and then give some more!" he quipped. Soon, he came across an old lady, rummaging through her purse, much to the captain's annoyance. "Um, today, poppet?" he asked impatiently. The old woman grumbled and glared at Captain Boomerang annoyingly. "Sakes live woman can't go shopping without bumpin' into hoodlums in every-which a-way!" she remarked, continuing to rummage.

Just then, Ahsoka flew through, lightsaber and crossbow armed and ready. As soon as she heard the silent alarm go off while on her way to visit Wally, she immediately ran to the scene to get to the bottom of things. She slid down the stair railing and scoffed at the sight of the villainous trio. "The Central City Rogues! No wonder everyone left JC Penney's early." She quipped to herself before activating her lightsaber and running off.

Magenta gasped at the sight of Ahsoka and flew over her two comrades. "Hey, guys, behind you!" the Hispanic yelled. Clayface ran over to help while Captain Boomerang continued to demand valuables from the hostages. Finally, the elderly woman stopped rummaging and looked up. "Here it is!" she exclaimed, pulling out pepper spray and spraying it into the captain's eyes, causing him to fall to the ground and cry in pain. Everyone laughed as the Central City Police Department, along with Flash and Kid Flash, looked to the scene and laughed as well.

Meanwhile, Ahsoka crashed into Magenta, causing her to fly to the floor, skidding as she landed. Magenta laughed and raised up her arms, starting to pull Ahsoka's weapons towards her. "You missed me!" she taunted. Ahsoka chuckled and pointed her weapons towards Magenta. "Oh, did I?" she mused. With that, she electrified her crossbow and deactivated lightsaber as she was pulled in, causing Magenta to yell in pain as she was shocked. She then looked down over to Clayface and started to twirl around with her weapons activated. Wally looked to this and nodded, much to Barry's confusion.

Both the speedster and the Padawan twirled around together as one, creating a tornado big enough to dry up Clayface into a molten statue of himself. As soon as the tornado cleared, Ahsoka looked to Wally and bumped fists with him. Ahsoka then looked over to Captain Boomerang, wiping his eyes with napkins before putting them down and glaring to the two heroes, preparing to attack. Flash was about to run in to attack, but Ahsoka just stood there, lightsaber activated in her left hand and hand on her hip with her right. The captain, remembering what happened last time he tried to mess with Ahsoka just gulped and placed his hands in the air. "I'd like to go to jail now, please." He said, terrified.

Ahsoka smiled and soon walked over to a weakened Magenta and Force-Pulled a series of fallen signs up on top of her, all plastic, preventing her from escaping. "You've just been attracted, going down south, Magenta!" Ahsoka quipped as the old woman walked over. "You tell her, girl!" she exclaimed, in which both Wally and Ahsoka smiled.

Recognized Ahsoka Tano B-1-1, Kid Flash B-0-3. The computer AI announced as Ahsoka and Wally entered the Cave. "Well, now that school and Finals are over, there's nothing except training and relaxation for the summer." The speedster stated. Ahsoka rolled her eyes as she looked to the rest of the Team, all in the Kitchen. "Honestly, I don't get how difficult it is to get those Finals done. They seem so easy." She remarked. Dick scoffed, polishing his birdarangs while Zatanna rubbed her foot. "You may have been taught, like, practically everything in your universe, but here, it's not so easy." The Boy Wonder spat. Zatanna just placed her boot on and nodded. "Ahsoka, there are some things that we haven't been taught so easily, or can't even learn that easily too." The mage explained. Ahsoka sighed and nodded. "Sorry, I didn't know." She said. Zatanna nodded and patted the Togrutan on the back.

Connor and M'gann smiled at this. "You want some cookies?" the Martian asked. Ahsoka nodded as Connor turned on the television. Everyone looked to see an image of plastic-bound Magenta on the screen as Iris West-Allen spoke. "While the rest of the Rogues, suspected of being in league with the ORDER, escaped, the magnetic-powered metahuman Magenta remains under heavy guard at Belle Reve Penitentiary." Iris stated off-screen. The Team looked to Ahsoka and Wally with smirks on their faces, knowing who the heroes of the day were. "Meanwhile, Ahsoka Tano and Kid Flash, the heroes who saved everyone from the Rogues, had this to say." Iris added on, cueing to a screen with Ahsoka and Kid Flash. "It's just what we do." Kid Flash said before the screen zoomed over to Ahsoka. "Yeah, what can we say? We're practically the Youth of the Nation." The Jedi added on. With that, the Boy of Steel turned off the television, with everyone looking to Ahsoka and Wally. All they could do was shrug, a bit flattered by their performance.

Wanting to get rid of all the glares, Wally cleared his throat and spoke up. "So, I'm having a baroque dinner tonight, and I wanted to know if any of you wanted to come." He said. Most of the Team smiled at this. "I can come." Dick said. Zatanna shrugged and sighed. "Sorry, I have to go to the orthodontist later today." She replied. Ahsoka, Serra, Saw and Jaybo just looked to each other and nodded. "We'd be happy to come." Ahsoka finally said. Artemis walked up to Wally and placed her hand on his shoulder, nodding as well, with M'gann and Connor also in agreement. Wally smiled, knowing that this evening would go well.

At the ORDER headquarters, Sylas guided his newest recruit, Mirror Master, around the base. "You've got a nice operation going on here, Sylas." The Master of Mirrors stated. Sylas just chuckled and nodded at this statement as he gestured over towards an experimentation laboratory. "As you can see, we have the top of the art technology with the ORDER, Mister Scudder." Sylas explained. Samuel nodded slightly as he watched Professor Ivo create a series of droids for the ORDER. He looked over to Sylas and silently nodded, in which Sylas nodded back.

The two then moved on to the next part of the tour, which was the training room for the ORDER generals and the Terror Titans. Mirror Master smirked at this sight, seeing Xanadu perform devilish hexes with her wand placed into her new mechanical right arm. Falcon tried to dodge it, but he was soon knocked down. He then turned his attention to Ultraboy, who shot down a dummy with his Ultra-Vision before flying towards it and mercilessly tearing it apart. Mirror Master gasped with shock as Sylas just smirked. "Yeah, I always get a kick out of that one!" he exclaimed before chuckling a bit.

Wanting to get the gore off of his mind, Mirror Master finally decided to speak up. "For my performance, I shall require some of your soldiers." He said. Sylas stopped chuckling and turned around, nodding. "I will give you whatever you require, but I must have one of my generals oversee your operation so that I can see how well you do in the ORDER." Sylas replied. Mirror Master nodded, causing Sylas to smirk and click his fingers, causing Inertia, who was fighting against Black Widow before, to zoom towards the two adults. "Go and see how Mister Scudder does in his audition." Sylas ordered. Inertia sinisterly smirked at this and nodded. "Prepare to see Hell." Mirror Master stated evilly.

At the West family household, Rudy and Mary West started to prepare everything for the baroque dinner while Barry and Iris were waiting for their nephew to come home. Barry smiled as he looked to his wife. "Doesn't it feel good to finally be having some time off?" asked the Scarlet Speedster. Iris just sighed and nodded, placing her head into her husband's arms. "I'm just glad that we can spend some time together without any vandalisms." Iris replied. Barry smiled at this, knowing what it was like to always deal with unnatural stuff every day of his superhero life. Still, now that the crime has dropped with Ahsoka first coming to Earth, everything just seemed so much better, not counting how many times the League had to face the ORDER.

Just then, the doorbell rang. Iris smiled and soon walked towards the door to see who it was. There was Wally, smiling to his family. Barry chuckled and patted his young and quick on the head. "Glad you could make it, junior." He teased. Wally chuckled and hugged his uncle tightly. He then turned to the rest of the West-Allen family and sighed happily. "I hope you don't mind, but I decided to invite some friends over." He said. While all the rest of the family didn't mind, Barry just raised an eyebrow in confusion, wondering what his nephew meant.

Soon, Wally looked behind him and nodded, causing Ahsoka in her Ashley disguise to come through, followed by M'gann in her human disguise, Serra, Saw, Dick, Artemis, Connor, Jaybo, and Lux. Barry's eyes widened at this sight, but all Iris could just do was gasp with surprise. Before Barry could ask his nephew anything about bringing his friends over to their family party, Wally was suddenly grabbed by Iris. She puller her nephew over to her and placed her head up to his ear.

"Wally, do you who those three are?" she whispered, pointing to Serra, Saw and Jaybo. The young speedster nodded and grunted, letting himself go of his aunt's grasp. "They're Serra Keto, Saw Gerrera and Jaybo Hood, three of our newest members of the Team since March." He explained, but Iris just shook her head in disagreement and started to shake her nephew by the shoulders. "No! These three saved me a month earlier from the ORDER! I can't believe I never saw it before!" she exclaimed, now loud enough for the rest of the Team to hear.

Serra smiled and walked towards Iris, extending her hand. "I've seen you a lot on the news since we rescued you." She stated. Iris gulped and stood up, shaking her hand back and giggling nervously. "This is something I've always dreamed of!" she exclaimed softly, causing Serra to raise an eyebrow. Wally sighed and broke the two off. "Forgive my aunt, she's been wanting to know who rescued her all the way back then before you, Saw and Jaybo arrived." The speedster said. Serra nodded, slightly understanding what was going on. Ahsoka just chuckled and sighed. This is going to be a LONG night. She thought to herself happily.

Battle Droids shot wildly at the 501st legion of Clone Troopers as the City of Theed was under siege. Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi deflected every shot that headed towards them as three Droidekas rolled in. "Tell me that Rex found Ahsoka here!" Anakin yelled to his master, but Obi-Wan just shook his head no. "We haven't heard from either Rex, Cody or Fox in a while, and Padawan Pix is still yet to hear from!" he exclaimed. Anakin just growled and sent a powerful Force-Push towards the Droidekas, sending them into the rest of the Battle Droids, destroying them for good.

Most of the Clone Troopers looked up to Anakin in surprise. Lieutenant Thire stood up and cleared his throat before speaking to the Chosen One. "Sir, I assure you, we had those clankers where they were, and we were doing just fine." He stated. Anakin sighed and deactivated his lightsaber, placing it back onto his belt. "Forgive me, Thire, but right now, I'm really on edge." He stated. With that, he started to walk towards the door, where he knew that the rest of the Republic Forces would be waiting for them.

Jek walked up to Obi-Wan and rubbed the back of his neck. "Sir, is there something wrong with General Skywalker?" he asked. The Negotiator grumbled a bit as he stroked his beard. "Hmm, Anakin hasn't really been feeling that easy since Ahsoka left, and now that she's disappeared with our only clue to her being an organization called the ORDER, he wont give up until he finds her." Kenobi explained. Jek nodded at this as he saw Rex, Cody, Fox and the Jedi Padawan, Pix come in.

Anakin turned to them and sighed. "Did you manage to find my Padawan?" the Chosen One asked. Pix sighed and sheathed her azure lightsaber back onto her belt. "I'm sorry, Master Skywalker, but my friend is nowhere to be found." Pix reported. Anakin sighed and placed a hand to his head. "Thank you, Pix." He said calmly, in which Pix started to gulp in nervousness. "You tried your best to find Ahsoka, and I am grateful for that." He added on. Pix nodded and looked over to Fox. "Come on, let's go home." She said. Fox nodded as the two started to head back to the ship, with Anakin just looking on sadly.

A while later, Anakin and Obi-Wan started to walk back to the Gunship, which would take them back to the Resolute. The young Jedi Knight looked to his master and sighed. "I'm certain that Ahsoka is out there, somewhere." He said. Obi-Wan mumbled a bit before looking down, and then back up to Anakin with a hopeful look on his face. "Perhaps the Chancellor has another place we can look from his sources." He suggested. Anakin smiled and placed his hand on Obi-Wan's shoulder.

"Well, the next place he did suggest was Christophsis." Anakin remembered. Obi-Wan shrugged and chuckled. "Well, what are we waiting for, Life Day?" he asked. The Jedi Knight chuckled and ran to the ship. "Come on, let's go!" he yelled. Obi-Wan chuckled and sighed, placing his hands on his hips as he walked over towards the Gunship. "Never one for subtlety." He mused. With that, as he arrived in the Gunship, it flew off, and the were soon off to get to Christophsis.

Earth-16 | Central City 2013 hours EDT

At the baroque dinner, the Team, as well as the West-Allen family, all requested for Ahsoka to tell them about some of her adventures back in her universe. The Togrutan enjoyed this very much, and started off with her first field mission with her master, Anakin. Serra smiled at her friend's enjoyment and then nudged her on the shoulder as she continued to tell her story. "Tell them how you managed to both deactivate the Separatist's shield generator and save Anakin." She urged her. Ahsoka smiled and nodded, looking over to the others on the Team, all smiling to her. Finally, she gave in. "Okay, so there's this wall with a hole behind him." Ahsoka started out calmly, getting the rest of the Team excited before she moved on. "So, here's what I did: I pulled the wall down on the droids, destroying them and saving my master." She finished up, causing the rest of the group to both applaud and laugh.

However, while this was going on, Barry just gave a slight frown, worried about what would happen if anyone noticed the big group Wally brought with him. Wally noticed this a bit, but he just shrugged it off as Artemis started to tell a story. "Okay, so back before Zatanna and Rocket joined the Team, we were on a mission to Bialya, trying to find out about Queen Bee if she had anything out of the ordinary, and this guy, Psimon, made us have major amnesia, and when Wally discovered how to work his Stealth Tech feature, he was like 'on' and 'off', and 'on' and 'off', until I eventually snapped and yelled, 'Quit touching yourself!'" Wally, somewhat offended, stood up and playfully pouted, shrugging at this exact statement. "Yes, I was extremely interested in my stealth tech." He stated exasperatingly.

The Team and Wally's family all chuckled before Rudy decided to take out a large portfolio. "Now that everyone's done, who wants to see some pictures of Wally when he was just a baby?" she asked playfully. Immediately, everyone nodded yes as they all walked over. Wally now started to get nervous about the situation as he walked away, trying to stay unnoticed. As he left, he could hear some of the males laughing when they looked at the photos while some of the girls just awed in cuteness as they saw how adorable he was back then.

Barry took notice of his nephew trying to sneak away and immediately walked towards him. "Wally, we need to talk." He said. This caused Wally to jump, not expecting his Uncle Barry to sneak up on him like that. Wally rubbed the back of his neck as he turned to his uncle. "Oh, Uncle Barry, what did you want?" he asked. Barry showed a look of disappointment on his face as he looked down to his partner. "Did you think that anyone would even get the slightest suspicion that you had one Hell of a big crowd with you?!" he demanded. Wally gasped and squirmed at this statement, causing Barry to scoff. "I would have thought you would have been wiser at this point." He remarked.

Not far away, Ahsoka started to take notice of what was happening after seeing a couple of baby pictures of Wally. She could see that Barry was berating him, and that Wally wasn't feeling too happy about it, as he was squirming. A mentor should never do that to their student! She thought to herself angrily. Immediately, she walked over with her fists clenched.

"You may have chosen to have my powers, but I never wanted to even have you in the first place." Barry spat. Wally had finally had it. He was just about to give the Flash a taste of his own medicine until Ahsoka cleared her throat. "How can you say that?!" she demanded very loudly. The Flash turned to Ahsoka as she pressed her finger against his chest. "He's your own flesh and blood, he looks up to you and this is how you treat him?!" she added on. Barry growled and shook his head. "As grateful as I am for you saving me from Syrena, I didn't ask for your opinion!" he yelled, finally catching everyone else's attention. At that moment, Ahsoka's eyes started to change, much to Wally's surprise. "Ahsoka, I think it's best for you to stay out of this one." He reasoned, but Ahsoka placed her hand up, not wanting anyone to interfere.

"You think you're all that, being the fastest in the world and not needing any help?!" she exclaimed. Barry looked into her now-yellow eyes and nodded. "I do, and that's none of your business!" he remarked back. Ahsoka growled softly and unsheathed her lightsaber hilt, preparing to activate it. "You wanna take this outside, smart guy?!" she yelled. In response, Barry placed up his watch and nodded. "You should have asked me that the minute you decided to barge in." He dangerously threatened.

Before the two could fight each other, Iris got in the way and held her hands out, preventing them from getting too close to one another. "If I wanted you to have some pointless battle, then I would have done so when you two met eye-to-eye!" she exclaimed. Both heroes pouted and growled at each other angrily, Ahsoka's eyes going from yellow back to blue. Iris panted and looked over to Barry with a look of disapproval on her face.

"You, Barry Allen, should know better!" she scolded. The Scarlet Speedster rubbed the back of his neck in regret as Iris then turned her attention to Ahsoka. "You, on the other hand, do have a point of what Barry was telling my nephew about, but starting a fight over it doesn't help make things any damn better." She added on. Ahsoka sighed and sheathed her lightsaber hilt back onto her belt. Iris looked to both of them and placed her hands on her hips.

"Now, you two are not going anywhere until you make up and apologize, or else you'll wish that you never had this conversation." She said. Both Ahsoka and Barry grabbed each other's hands and shook them before walking to different sides of the room to clean up. Robin and Artemis walked over to Wally and placed their hands on his shoulders, in which he smiled slightly. M'gann and Serra walked over to Ahsoka and started to pat her on the shoulder as well, with her getting the same emotion.

Meanwhile, in downtown Central City, people were starting to wrap up their business at the Alva Office. "Everyone, your work is much appreciated." Edwin Alva stated as he walked into the cubicle office. All the workers smiled as Alva smiled back. "If we make the work count, then Alva Industries will make enough money to give you all your Christmas presents." He exclaimed. Everyone cheered at this, as Alva smiled back and nodded.

Just then, several ORDER operatives crashed through the windows, aiming their firearms at every one of the workers and Alva. "ORDER! I'm not afraid of you!" he exclaimed, pulling out his own gun and aiming it at one of the ORDER soldiers, but before he could fire, a green blur appeared and the gun disappeared, much to Alva's shock. He looked over to see Inertia standing there, holding the gun in his hands. Alva gasped as the evil speedster aimed it at him as Mirror Master appeared soon after. Instead of firing the gun, Inertia looked to the gun and scoffed, smashing the gun immediately. Mirror Master chuckled and looked down to a piece of glass, his own reflection moving and giving a salute to him. "No one is going anywhere." He remarked. Everyone nodded and went to the ground. Inertia chuckled and walked towards Alva, pulling out his credit card. "With your blood stained on my suit, I think that my Christmas gift is as good as given." He quipped. Alva grumbled angrily to himself before getting on the ground with his hands behind his head. Unbeknownst to anyone, he pressed a button on his cell phone for help.

Expanded Universe | Christophsis…

Anakin, Obi-Wan and Cin Drallig all walked around on the crystal-like world of Christophsis, searching for any sign of Ahsoka. "We just got a distress call from here not too long ago." Master Drallig reported to Anakin. The Chosen One turned around and raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Who was it from?" he asked. Cin Drallig just shrugged and sighed. "A couple of hours ago, it came in, and there was no sender." He explained. Anakin and Obi-Wan both placed their hands up to their chins and mumbled. "It seems that this may have something to do with the ORDER and Ahsoka." Obi-Wan stated. Anakin sighed as they soon approached one of the buildings. "Even is this could be a trap, I'll take any risk it takes to find my Padawan." Anakin stated. With that, he walked into the building, lightsaber hilt in hand with Masters Kenobi and Drallig behind him.

Earth-16 | Central City June 9th 1138 hours EDT

Artemis slept peacefully in Wally's home ever since the baroque dinner last night. Since Ahsoka and Barry had that big argument, Artemis decided to stay with the West-Allen family and Ahsoka to oversee how everything was going. She didn't want another quarrel like she and Ahsoka had before when she first arrived.

Soon, she woke up, yawning and stretching her arms out before kicking her legs up into the air and placing on some slippers. Time to go see how Ahsoka's doing. She thought to herself exhaustedly. With that, she walked off into the living room to see if Ahsoka and Flash were having any luck getting along with each other.

As soon as she walked in, she placed her hands on her hips and shook her head. "I might've known." She remarked, seeing that Ahsoka and Barry were still not talking to each other, as the two were standing a distance away from each other across the room, Iris looking to the two with a concerned look on her face. "I want you two to apologize to each other within the next twelve hours." She stated, with both of the heroes just looking back to her slightly. Iris then looked to her watch and sighed. "I have to go down to the station now, but I'd better see some bonds going on soon." She remarked. Both Ahsoka and Barry sighed and both said simultaneously, "Yes, Iris."

Iris smiled to the two before getting into her car and driving away. Wally soon came in, and looked to what just happened. "So, I take it that my uncle and Ahsoka still haven't made up yet?" he asked. Artemis nodded as she walked towards the Ex-Jedi. Ahsoka sensed Artemis and Wally come up from behind her and raised an eyebrow at what they were doing. "Ahsoka, you have to talk with Barry at some point." She said. Ahsoka turned back to her and sighed. "I know, but he's just so stubborn!" she complained.

Just then, Barry's watch started to beep, as well as Ahsoka's comlink, and Wally and Artemis's phones. "What could be the problem?" Ahsoka wondered to herself as she activated her hologlove. Everyone soon gasped as they saw Mirror Master in front of innocent civilians on the ground, a lot of them at that. They also saw Inertia there too, standing beside Mirror Master as Alva started to show some sign language through his screen. "The ORDER is holding the Alva Industries Office Company hostage, about seven miles due north from here." Ahsoka deducted.

With that being said, a large gust of wind blew by, and before anyone knew it, Barry was gone. Ahsoka and Wally looked to each other and sighed. With a click of his watch, Wally now was in his Kid Flash uniform and zoomed off after him. Ahsoka was about to catch up until Artemis cleared her throat. "Ahem, no speed!" she exclaimed. Ahsoka rubbed the back of her neck and sighed. "Sorry, almost forgot." She stated. She soon picked up Artemis by the legs and zoomed off after the two speedsters with Force-Speed, almost as fast as her lightsaber could activate.

Expanded Universe | Christophsis…

Anakin, Obi-Wan and Cin reached the building and looked around on the ground. "Shattered glass." Obi-Wan Kenobi said. Cin Drallig tried to Force-Sweep it aside but to very much to his surprise, it flew back, all where they originally were. Anakin raised an eyebrow as he gestured for the Gunship to come towards them. "I'm gonna have a look at what this is." He explained to the masters. The two Jedi Masters nodded as Anakin got into the Gunship, now flying off the ground and high above the glass.

To his surprise, Anakin saw that the glass was arranged in the shape of an outline of a bird. "I think you may want to see this." He yelled down. The two Jedi Masters nodded and then jumped up, looking down to what the reflection was. "It seems to be an image of a series of perspectives of a city of some sort." Obi-Wan deducted. Anakin looked into one of them and his eyes immediately widened. "Tell me that I'm not imagining that, because right now, I really don't want to be." He told Obi-Wan and Cin. The two looked down and gasped. In the reflections was Ahsoka, running towards the reflection and into another image, showing a man in some sort of suit doing sign language at them. Anakin and Obi-Wan, understanding what he was trying to relay, looked to Master Drallig with surprise. "Was that the distress call?" Anakin asked. Cin Drallig nodded and said, "Yes, but how is this possible?"

Earth-16 | Central City 1234 hours EDT

Ahsoka and Artemis arrived at the Alva Industries building right before Flash and Kid Flash arrived. "So, Alva sure knows how to send out an SOS, doesn't he?" she mused. Barry nodded and tightened up his gloves. "Let's go in and settle this." He stated. Kid Flash nodded and followed. "I'm right behind you." He said.

Just then, a hail of gunfire rained down onto the group. Ahsoka and the rest of the group looked up and gasped as they saw the ORDER standing there. Mirror Master chuckled as he floated down towards them on a platform. "Well, Flashes, it sure took you long enough." He quipped. "And I thought you were supposed to be fast." He teased. Flash growled and walked towards Mirror Master. "You release the hostages now, Samuel." He threatened. Mirror Master once again chuckled, as Inertia passed by and tripped the Scarlet Speedster to the ground. Flash landed with a grunt as Inertia stood over him. "You're gonna have to go through me, first." He quipped. Flash growled and stood up, wiping some blood off. "Bring it." He spat back. The two speedsters looked each other down before dashing off, fighting each other in a blur.

Kid Flash looked to his mentor and then back to Mirror Master. Ahsoka unsheathed her lightsaber and crossbow while Artemis unsheathed her longbow. "We've got the hostages, you go help Flash!" Ahsoka yelled. Wally nodded and zoomed off to help fight Inertia. Before the two girls could run into the building, Mirror Master stood in their way. "No one gets past me!" he exclaimed. Ahsoka scoffed and placed her left hand on her hip. "Is that so?" she remarked. With that, she Force-Pushed Mirror Master out of the way, letting Artemis go through first. Ahsoka was about to go next, but Mirror Master blasted her with his pistol, sending her to the ground. "You're next." He darkly remarked.

Meanwhile, Anakin was forced to watch everything happen through the reflections. "Where is Ahsoka?!" he yelled. He knew that they could see her through the supernatural reflections, but he wanted to know exactly where she was. Captain Rex shrugged and sighed. "I don't know, Sir, but she seems to have improved." He stated. Anakin and Obi-Wan, as well as Master Drallig, just watched the battle go on as Ahsoka blasted and slashed at her strange opponent, but he kept using special powers to avoid every blast.

Ahsoka jumped into the air and slashed down at Mirror Master, but he just placed up one of his mirrors, causing her to fall through. Ahsoka yelled and fell onto the ground through another mirror, getting back up soon after. Mirror Master then manifested an entire series of mirrors, creating the warehouse they were fighting in into a House of Mirrors. Ahsoka looked around and groaned, seeing multiple clones of Mirror Master, but every time she tried to shoot or perform Shien slashes at him, he kept fading away. Ahsoka gasped as the real one appeared through one of the mirrors, punching her in the chin and sending her into another mirror.

Ahsoka got up and sighed as she looked to her reflection. "So, got any bright ideas?" she asked. As if an answer hit her, the mirror shattered, causing the Togrutan Ex-Jedi to get an idea. "Thanks!" she yelled, running back to the battle.

There were now multiple clones of Mirror Master spread about the warehouse. "You all can't feel pain, but I bet the real one can!" she exclaimed, charging up enough Force Lightning to send into the ground, causing an electrical shock to surge. The real Mirror Master groaned when it hit him and his clones disappeared. Ahsoka smirked at her victory, but the smile wore off as she saw Mirror Master grabbing a sharp piece of glass and running towards her. "Oh, Wynock Spit." She cursed to herself. She started to run away from Mirror Master, but he was able to blast some debris on top of her, trapping her onto the ground.

Anakin gasped at this from the other side and looked to the pilot. "I know that I have a hell of a lot of crazy ideas, Oddball, but this time, trust me!" he yelled. Oddball nodded as he started to listen to what Anakin had to say. "Fire a missile into that reflection!" he yelled. Both Obi-Wan and Cin Drallig both widened their eyes in bewilderment as Oddball sent a missile headed into the screen where Ahsoka was trapped and the horrifying man was about to finish her off. "Fire!" he yelled. Oddball nodded and fired the projectile, going right through the reflection.

Ahsoka watched as Mirror Master picked up her fallen shoto. "Say goodbye!" he taunted. Ahsoka prepared for the worse, but just then, all of a sudden, a missile was sent through the window behind her, hitting Mirror Master on impact and sending him out of the building through four walls. Ahsoka gasped and looked behind her, and for a minute, she could have sworn that she saw someone smiling at her. Shrugging, she smiled back and activated her hologlove. "I guess that there is a way to break the fourth wall after all." She mused to herself. Chuckling, she ran off to help Flash and Kid Flash take down Inertia.

Flash and Kid Flash both struggled to take down Inertia. He laughed as he dashed through them, making any kind of damage that he could. "You like it, West-Allen Scum?" he asked sinisterly. He finally stopped after a while and looked down to them, now on the ground. "I upgraded myself with the Symbio-Enhancer, and now, I have speeds of cheetahs, condors, and any other ultra-fast animal you can think of." He teased.

Just then, the sound of a blast caught Inertia's attention, causing him to dodge and avoid a blast from Ahsoka, running towards the two speedsters. "Are you both okay?" she asked. Barry stood up and nodded. "Yeah, thanks for the save." He said tiredly. Ahsoka smiled at this, as well as Wally. "I could have done it for anyone." Ahsoka replied back soon after. She then extended her hand to help Barry up, in which he accepted as the Togrutan Ex-Jedi helped him up to his feet.

As this was happening, Anakin dropped down to the ground and looked to the reflection. "Ahsoka, can you hear me?!" he yelled. The other two Jedi Masters joined Anakin and tried to call out for Ahsoka, but the reflections just went back to normal, showing nothing there. Anakin went silent and just sat on the ground, Obi-Wan placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "This is a clue to finding Ahsoka, Anakin." The Negotiator stated. Anakin sighed and nodded as he stood up. "Come on, let's keep searching." He said. Both of the Jedi Masters nodded as they started to head back to the Gunship, ready to continue their search for the Padawan lost.

On Earth-16, Inertia chuckled as the three heroes started to get ready to take him on again. "This is almost too amusing." He remarked. Ahsoka looked to Flash and nodded. "I took care of Mirror Master, so he should be free for the police to take away." She said. Barry smiled and nodded. "You know, I'm starting to like your style." He quipped. Both Ahsoka and Kid Flash smiled at this statement as Artemis came and stood beside them. "The hostages are safe, and I called for Green Arrow to help them get out!" she reported. Ahsoka smiled and patted Artemis on the shoulder. "Good job." She complimented.

Inertia growled at this and soon prepared to attack them. "Even if Mirror Master failed to complete the mission, I can still take you down!" he exclaimed. Ahsoka smirked and then pointed her lightsaber towards the evil speedster. "You're going down right here, Inertia!" Ahsoka spat back. Inertia scoffed and started to charge at the four at his fast speed, which was enough to throw everyone off. First, Inertia appeared behind Artemis, causing her to turn around and gasp in surprise. "Look out!" Wally called, running towards Inertia and preparing to strike at him, but he knocked both the archer and the yellow speedster aside. Flash gasped. "Kid, Artemis!" he yelled out. He then redirected his attention to Inertia, who was now bent on killing the older hero and the Ex-Jedi.

Immediately, both speedsters started to go at lightspeed, clashing with each other in red and green blurs. Ahsoka looked back and forth and was able to focus on which one was Flash.

Flash and Inertia exchanged blow after blow, either being knocked to the ground or just hit in any part of the body. "You're my partner's double, so I know how to defeat you!" Flash exclaimed, but Inertia just ignored this and disappeared from Barry's sight. Flash gasped and soon, Inertia was right behind him. Flash gasped as he felt the sudden gust of wind and was about to turn around to strike back, but Inertia struck at him first, causing Flash to fall to the ground unconscious.

Inertia looked to the three heroes as they tried to regain themselves. "Don't you all see now?!" he yelled out sadistically. "None of you have what it takes to stand up to the ORDER!" he yelled. Just then, Inertia felt some blaster fire cover him, causing him to fall to the ground. "I do." Ahsoka quipped, aiming her crossbow and lightsaber at the green speedster.

Flash looked up and smiled as he walked up to join Ahsoka, but Inertia started to run towards the Scarlet Speedster, preparing to kill him with a dagger in hand. Ahsoka gasped and Force-Pushed him away into the warehouse nearby. Flash and Kid Flash then started to run around him in circles while Ahsoka and Artemis, now half-recovered prepared to fire at Inertia once again. The two strafed him down while the Flashes used their speed to prevent Inertia from escaping. Just then, Inertia stopped struggling and got into a battle stance, going at his fast pace once again. Ahsoka gasped and pushed Artemis out of the way, causing Ahsoka to take the hit from the now light-speeding Inertia.

In Inertia's own world, he could see everything go slowly. Ahsoka was thrown into the air, giving Inertia the opportunity to strike at her time after time, again and again. Ahsoka couldn't see that fast into Inertia's speed, so she couldn't even counter. Slowly, she fell into a shelf, landing on her back next to Flash and Kid Flash. "What do we do?" Barry and Wally both asked simultaneously. Ahsoka was about to answer until Inertia got into his same position and moved too quick for the naked eye again. Ahsoka started to think of a plan in order to take Inertia down.

The two speedsters panted as Inertia moved at lightspeed, laughing at the heroes as he zoomed around. Just then, Ahsoka noticed a mirror laying on the ground. She then turned her head towards some bags of dust on the ladders beside it. "Just as my Master once said: As long as you want it, the Force will always be on my side." She stated. Both speedsters and the archer looked to Ahsoka confusingly as she dropped her lightsabers and shot an energized arrow at the bags of dust, creating a dust cloud before shooting at the mirror, shattering it and letting the parts fly off into the air. She then shot a scanning laser at the mirror parts, creating a laser grid that made Inertia visible. He groaned in pain as he continued to run, but soon, he tripped on a ladder and was sent flying towards Ahsoka as she extended the tip of her crossbow to meet his chest. Inertia gasped as he soon landed on the tip, falling to the ground and dissolving into mist as Ahsoka took the shot at him.

As soon as Inertia disappeared, Flash walked up to Ahsoka and placed his hand onto her shoulder. "Not bad." He complimented. Ahsoka smiled at this as Kid Flash and Artemis sent her warm smiles. Ahsoka smiled back as they both shook hands, finally making up and forgiving each other for what had transpired earlier on.

As the police started to take Mirror Master away and Green Arrow was tending to the hostages, Iris West-Allen had arrived to report on what had just happened. "After a thorough investigation on the hostage crisis, Mirror Master appears to have been in league with the ORDER, as the Terror Titan known as Inertia was assisting him. Edwin Alva is being taken for medical treatment, and will be present at Washington DC with Barak Obama to award the Justice League for their noble efforts, as well as an award to Ahsoka Tano." Iris reported, smiling as she had Denny turn he camera over to Ahsoka and Flash, now telling the police about what had happened, as well as the League.

Iris soon wrapped up her story and walked over to the two heroes with a smile on her face. "Well, it seems that you two made up." She said, the two heroes smiling. Iris turned to Ahsoka and nodded. "Thank you." She said before turning her attention to her husband. "Promise me that you'll never pull off anything like that again." She demanded. Barry sighed and nodded. "Okay, I won't reprimand anyone ever again." He said, hugging her. Iris sighed and chuckled as Ahsoka just watched with a hand on her hip.

"So, were you planning on actually fighting me?" she asked. Barry turned to her and shrugged. "Well, you were looking pretty sharp with that lightsaber in your hands, and honestly, I don't think I was fast enough to react." He joked. Wally and Artemis raised their eyebrows at this, as well as Ahsoka and Iris as a gust of wind blew by during the long moment of silence. "That-that-just don't do that again." Ahsoka said, trying to get the words out right that Flash's jokes weren't that good. Feeling the tension, Barry looked to his watch and said, "Oh, my, look at the time, I've gotta go." By the saying this excuse, it caused Ahsoka to place her hand back on her hip and shake her head. "Be back in a flash." Flash stated before zooming off.

As soon as Barry was gone, Ahsoka looked to Kid Flash, Artemis and Iris. "'Back in a flash.'" She mused, quoting what Flash just said before she placed her arms out and asked, "Does he always say that or is it just a thing?"

"He does it way too much." The three replied. Ahsoka chuckled at this, but couldn't get the thought of what happened earlier in her battle with Mirror Master out of her head. What happened back there? She thought to herself.

Sylas and his generals waited for Inertia to return patiently back at the ORDER base. They had heard about Mirror Master's arrest, and weren't too happy about it, at least the rest of the generals and Terror Titans weren't. Sylas hadn't said a word since it happened.

Soon, a green cloud of mist appeared, and Inertia reanimated himself from it, chuckling and spreading his arms out. "They can't kill us unless they kill themselves." He bragged. He was about to go on until Sylas shot him a glare. He sent the same look to all of his generals and Terror Titans as well, getting them to straighten up their postures. "Even though Samuel had failed in his objective, he can now prove to be very useful to the ORDER." He stated.

Barriss stepped up and cleared her throat. "So, Mirror Master's main goal wasn't to hold those people hostage, but just to prove how well he could do on he field?" she asked. Sylas nodded at this before walking on. "The question still remains: Who interfered with his battle against Ahsoka?" he wondered out loud. This started to puzzle everyone.

Still curious as to what helped her earlier in her battle against Mirror Master, Ahsoka was using the Cave systems to look into every network on the planet. "I need a scan of all activity within sixteen-hundred miles at approximately 1316 hours, Eastern Standard Time at Alva industries." She ordered the computer. "Scan complete." The computer said after a while of waiting. "Events on June 9th, 2011, Eastern Standard Time, Thirteen-Sixteen hours include: Showdown in Jasper, Nevada, SHIELD discovers Captain America in the arctic, Abigail, Michelle, and Daniel Andrews born…" the computer started out, but Ahsoka soon shut it down after a while. "That doesn't help a bit." She remarked before walking off. "Is there someone watching over me?" she asked herself as she headed to her room, the thought still stuck in her head like glue.

Expanded Universe | Chancellor's Office

Chancellor Palpatine looked to the holographic image of Anakin, who was reporting his find to him. "It seems that a hint to finding Ahsoka was on Christophsis after all, your Supreme Excellency." Anakin reported. Palpatine smiled and nodded. "Well, Anakin, I'm sure that with luck, you'll be able to find Ahsoka in no time." He stated. Anakin nodded at this and said, "Thank you, Chancellor." Before signing off.

As soon as his conversation with Anakin was done, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine turned to Mas Amedda. "Do we have any information on how Anakin could have been able to see his Padawan through glass?" he asked in disbelief, still shocked at what happened. Mas Amedda only shook his head no and said, "No, but Count Dooku would still like to know if you would like to meet with this 'Light' he met with."

Palpatine lowly growled and got up from his seat, placing a hood over his head. "I do indeed need to talk with this Light." He spat as he got up from his seat. "Now, I want answers."
