Chapter 40: The Deep End
Western Mongolia June 18th 0016 hours UTC
In a dark room, all the members of the Light started to commence their meeting. From Vandal Savage to Ra's Al Ghul, everyone was present, including their two top soldiers, Deathstroke and Sportsmaster. As soon as everyone was gathered together, a holographic image of Count Dooku appeared before them. "Count, we call this meeting to meet with your superior." Vandal stated. Lex Luthor nodded and went on. "We hope that by forming this alliance, we can be able to assist you in your struggle against your Jedi Republic in any way." The billionaire stated.
Count Dooku nodded. "Yes, Lex Luthor, I am quite aware of that." The Count stated. Queen Bee just looked on skeptically as Tyranus started to step aside. "Now, let me introduce to you my master, the TRUE Lord of the Sith, Darth Sidious." Count Dooku stated, the hologram now showing a tall and slender man in a red cloak, his face covered, but some visible features showed that he was an old man. The members of the Light were all stunned by this man, as he seemed to look to them without even raising his hood.
"Our victory against the Republic is certainly starting to dim away, but what can you beings of the Light do to help us?" Sidious asked skeptically. Vandal Savage smirked and cleared his throat after taking in all of the shock from seeing Darth Sidious for the first time. "We can assure you victory by supplying you with everything we have to offer: evolutions, highly-trained assassins, we can give it all to you." The eternal man explained. Sidious sent a scowl to the Light and gritted his teeth in anger, the sound of his teeth echoing throughout the entire room. "Then explain to me why Ahsoka Tano was saved through the means of a mirror not so long ago!" Sidious demanded.
Most of the members of the Light stood surprised at this statement. "From the sounds of the event you speak of that took place about a week ago, our only deduction is that our new enemies, the ORDER, were behind that." Lex Luthor stated. "Oui, oui, oui, seigneur Sidious, the fault goes all to the ORDER, as well as our ennemis, the Justice League's Team." The Brain added on. Darth Sidious only scowled at this statement. "It seems that this ORDER has become a thorn in your side for quite some time already, Vandal Savage." The Sith remarked. "From the sounds of it, you can't even deal with your enemies properly as we can't eliminate the Jedi or our Republic enemy comrades." He added on.
Klarion growled at this statement as he started to stroke Teekl. "Maybe if your informant, Dooku, gave us more information on Jedi rather than boasts, we would have gotten rid of those little brats and that irksome Jedi quicker!" he exclaimed. Sidious scoffed at what the Witch-Boy stated and started to grit his teeth, the sound echoing throughout the room. "I think that your little Droid reconnaissance missions could have gone better as well, seeing as how the Team was able to defeat your robots so easily." Ra's Al Ghul retorted. "And, your Bounty Hunter, Cad Bane, has also joined the ORDER, making our struggle even more troublesome!" Queen Bee called out.
Vandal Savage sighed and stepped up. "Even still, Lord Sidious, we shall need a firm alliance in order for us to help each other in our ferments, no matter what provincial perspectives we hold towards one another." The eternal man reminded. Sidious grew somewhat of a smirk on his face as he started to chuckle. "A vast choice of meritorious words there, Vandal. I couldn't agree more." He stated sinisterly. Vandal Savage smiled as he saw the Supreme Lord of the Sith look to each member of the Light. "If one of you can succeed in exploiting possible weak points of your Justice League and ORDER, then I will… consider an alliance." Sidious proposed. Ocean Master smirked and stepped up, the visor on his helmet glowing. "I will humbly take on this most prestigious task." Orm stated. "In fact, I will start with a blow of decadence to my brother's kingdom." He finished up. Sidious nodded in agreement, and with a flicker of the light, the meeting was adjourned.
Tokyo, Japan June 19th 1921 hours UTC
Robin pushed aside one ORDER trooper before he was grabbed by yet another. "Where'd these guys all come from?!" Artemis yelled, coming from behind a pillar and using her bow in its naginata form. Batgirl, on the higher level, slashed at another one of the ORDER troopers before jumping off of the balcony to fight some more as Connor put one of the soldiers in a headlock. "What? Does Sylas have a salary for you guys at the mook market?!" he quipped before throwing the soldier off.
Saw started to slash at more of the troopers as well before Artemis blindly shot an arrow at the soldiers who were three feet behind her. Black Spider, unpleased with all of this, started to shoot one of his webs at her, wrapping around her shooting arm as three, bulky soldiers started to tackle her. The three soldiers who were all tackling the archer, all injected with the Symbio Enhancer, jumped away, webs wrapped around her neck, causing Artemis to gag a bit before aiming her crossbow at Black Spider, preparing to hang her as if his web were part of a hangman's noose. Black Spider then fell to the ground, injured and unconscious from the hit he took.
Soon, some flying ORDER troopers started to fill the mall area, overwhelming the Team very much. "This was a really bad time for Kaldur to take time to visit Atlantis!" Gerrera yelled out. "You've still got me!" a familiar female voice suddenly called out, much to the Team's delight. Out of the top window first came M'gann, followed by Ahsoka, using her two lightsabers to slash down at every flyer, much to Robin's amusement as she soon landed on the ground, soldiers falling unconscious after her. She looked to Artemis and nodded, in which the archer nodded back as Ahsoka backflipped into the air while her archer friend prepared a missile-shaped arrow. Black Spider gasped at this and gestured for his squad to retreat for now, right when Ahsoka leapt off from the balcony and slashed down at one squad of troopers, sending them back before Artemis used her special trick arrow to send the same squad flying out of the building.
With all of the ORDER troops gone, the Team sent to take care of the problem all started to regroup, Beast Boy and Serra coming out from one of the mall shops with two ORDER generals in their clutches. "Good timing." Robin mused, in which Ahsoka chuckled and lightly punched him in the shoulder in response. Wally and Lux came out from another shop, carrying some ORDER troopers with them. "Dudes, this battle feels like we've just cleared a video game on 'Easy'." He remarked. Artemis scoffed and slapped her speedster boyfriend on the back of the head. "Wallace, if we've been taught anything, it's that life isn't a video game." She scolded. Behind her, Serra was looking around for any more traces of the ORDER until she saw something on the ground that made her smile. "Hey, coins!" she exclaimed, kneeling over to pick them up.
Ahsoka chuckled and placed her hand on her hip. "Still, I wonder what Kaldur's up to since that wasp fracas of Hell that we went through from last night." She mused. M'gann chuckled and placed her hand on Ahsoka's shoulder. "Maybe you should go pay him a visit, seeing as how you helped him in the African Seas a couple months ago." The Martian suggested. Ahsoka smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I think I will." She replied.
Mount Justice 2013 hours EDT
M'gann floated throughout the Cave, recently coming back from the Watchtower to talk with her uncle and Batman. There, Aquaman was also present, and he told the young Martian that it would be his honor to invite Ahsoka into Atlantis. Feeling very excited about the news, and that Ahsoka would share the same feeling, the young Martian happily raced down back to the Cave to tell Ahsoka the news. She's gonna be so excited! M'gann thought to herself as she flew all the way down to Ahsoka's room door.
Meanwhile, inside of Ahsoka's room, Ahsoka herself was excited to go and see Atlantis. She had kept with her for a very long time since the war of Mon Cala her special Enviro-Suit, fit to survive any kind of dangerous conditions in any area she was if the suit was ever needed. "Never thought I'd be needing this again." She said to herself, holding it over her body and looking at how she looked with it on. M'gann soon flew by, and took notice of Ahsoka's new suit. "Wow!" she exclaimed, causing Ahsoka to smirk. "You've been underwater before?" the Martian asked. Ahsoka smiled and nodded. "It was just a while back while I was still in the Clone Wars." The Togrutan explained. M'gann simply awed in understanding as she soon started to walk out. "I'll let you change." Megan said before leaving. Ahsoka sighed after M'gann left and started to change her clothes.
A while later, Ahsoka came out of her room, holding a palm-shaped device in her hands, which was the Enviro-Suit compressed so that she could carry it around with her. Ahsoka looked around, and saw the rest of the Team waiting for her. The young Togrutan walked over to them and nodded. "Okay, I'm ready." She stated. Rocket nodded and started to direct Ahsoka towards a Zeta Tube on the other side of the Cave. "Kaldur uses this Zeta Tube to get to Atlantis if he ever needs some time to himself." She explained. Ahsoka awed in understanding as she walked towards the Zeta Tube. Before walking in, she turned around to Raquel and winked. "You and Kaldur take care of each other, you hear me?" she asked playfully. Rocket gasped and blushed at this statement, much to the Togrutan's amusement. With that, she left with the Zeta Tube announcing, Recognized: Ahsoka Tano, B-1-1.
Poseidonis 2032 hours UTC
As soon as Ahsoka entered Atlantis, she placed her Enviro-Suit onto her chest, pressing it and letting the suit embrace itself onto her. After doing so, she looked around in much awe at the underwater world. "This place is almost as amazing as Mon Cala!" she exclaimed to herself. She soon started to swim off, looking around at everything around her. Many Atlanteans swam all around Ahsoka, looking to the Togrutan Ex-Jedi with interest, but she didn't mind. She liked to be noticed every once in a while.
Soon, Ahsoka came across a large Atlantean city. There, Aquaman was waiting for her. Ahsoka smiled as she swam up to him. "Ahsoka Tano, I must say that it is quite an honor for you to be present in Atlantis." He stated. Ahsoka nodded and extended her hand. "The pleasure's all mine, King Orin." The young Togrutan replied back as Orin shook Ahsoka's friendly hand. "I must say, you really came prepared." The Atlantean King stated. Ahsoka nodded and shrugged. "Yeah, I know." She stated. After that, the King of Atlantis started to guide Ahsoka around.
Ahsoka chuckled at the sight of the many Atlanteans in the huge underwater city. "You really live a great life under the sea, Aquaman." The Togrutan stated. Aquaman chuckled at this statement as they passed the laboratory and moved onto the combat academy. "Yes, ever since I was born in Atlantis, I have learned to grow used to sea life for a long time." The Atlantean King replied back. Ahsoka chuckled and the two started to watch the Atlantean combatants train at the academy.
Kaldur was there, much to Ahsoka's pleasure, but there was someone else who caught her attention. He looked Atlantean, but he had no gills or webbed feet, just magenta-colored armor with golden highlights and armed with a shield on his left hand shaped like a stingray. He had a crimson shield chestplate on his chest, spiky hair dyed red with a long ponytail hanging on the back, pale skin with no Mystical Atlantean tattoos all over the body, and unlike Aqualad, he held a single Water-Bearer in comparison to dual hilts. Ahsoka grinned at this newcomer as she placed her hand over her chin.
"That one's interesting." The Togrutan stated to Aquaman as she started to point her finger towards the new warrior. Aquaman chuckled and nodded as the armored fighter. "I thought so." Arthur stated, nodding his head in agreement. "His name is Stephen Ramirez, Major in the Marine Corps." Aquaman started out as Stephen used his Water-Bearer as a whip so he could fell Garth. "Back when the Injustice League attacked, before you arrived, every hero on Earth rallied up to prevent Poison Ivy's plants from massacring the human population." Aquaman explained further on, getting Ahsoka wide-eyed. "In order for Stephen to fight back with his corps, a man by the name of Doctor Gipsy Jaeger put him through a special arrangement, and now he goes by the name of Stingray, Captain of the Earthen Seas." The Atlantean finished up.
By the time Aquaman was done with his story, Aqualad and Stingray were finished fighting as well. They looked to Ahsoka and Aquaman and immediately swam towards them. "Ahsoka, I am glad you could make it." Kaldur stated. Ahsoka nodded and smiled. "It's nice to just relax under the sea." She replied back. Stingray cleared his throat at that moment, causing the Togrutan to turn to him. She smiled at the sight of the new warrior as he held a firm posture. "Ahsoka Tano, it is my honor to finally be meeting you." Stingray stated in a humble tone. The young Ex-Jedi nodded and smiled. "Stingray, the pleasure is all mine." She replied back. Stephen just placed his hands on his hips as he looked around. "I've heard a lot about you since your arrival on Earth, so meeting a famous and the first Jedi like this up close and personal is quite a big deal for me." The Marine replied back.
Aqualad and his king both watched the conversation with interest before Ahsoka moved onto another topic. "So, Aquaman told me about how you got your powers." The Togrutan said. Stephen smiled as Ahsoka went on. "Does this mean that you now have Atlantean DNA?" Steve sighed and shook his head in some slight disagreement. "In a way, I am more like an Artificial Atlantean, being born human and now transfused with Atlantean blood." Stingray replied back. Ahsoka gave a quick "Oh" before moving onto something else. "After you got your powers, where were you stationed?"
"During October of 2010, I was positioned to fight off Poison Ivy's plants in North Korea, where I met a pyrokinetic heroine named…" Steve started out, but Ahsoka's eyes started to widen after he mentioned a fire-powered heroine, and she finished up the sentence with "Novastar?" Steve chuckled and nodded. "You've met her before?" he asked. Ahsoka nodded and smiled. "I met her in Bellwood with her partner, Saga, I think his name was." Ahsoka explained. The two chuckled at this coincidence, and before they knew it, they were both speechless.
Aquaman and Aqualad both chuckled at the two soldiers, now not seeming to be able to get the right words out to each other. "It seems to me that meeting each other for the first time is too great of a privilege for words." Kaldur'ahm stated. Both Ahsoka and Stephen started to rub the back of their necks awkwardly as they seemed to agree. Arthur just chuckled as he started to swim towards the palace. "We shall have plenty more to talk about when I introduce you to the rest of my family." The king stated. Ahsoka smiled and nodded as she swam after Aquaman, in which Kaldur and Stingray followed soon after.
As soon as Aquaman brought Ahsoka, Aqualad and Stingray into the Atlantean Palace, guards all started to respectfully bow. Ahsoka, thinking that the genuflecting was for Aquaman, bowed as well, but only gained some confused looks from everyone. Aqualad and Stingray both looked around, trying to find whoever the guards were bowing to, as well as Ahsoka, but Aquaman just chuckled and patted the Togrutan on the back. "They're bowing for you, Ahsoka." Orin stated. Ahsoka chuckled nervously and rubbed the back of her neck once again. "Why would they?" she asked curiously.
"Ever since you saved me and the Justice League from Syrena's grasp, I have spread stories to all of my people about you from every adventure you had with the Team." Orin explained. Ahsoka chuckled and swam back up to her normal posture. "Well, that's… nice of you." She stated. Aqualad chuckled as they started to swim towards the Throne Room.
In the Throne Room, Aquaman's brother, Orm, and his wife, Mera, were waiting for Arthur and his guests to arrive. Mera looked to her stomach worryingly, yet tried to hide it at the same time. Orm looked to Mera and slightly smirked. If I succeed in taking down Aquaman, then I shall surely show the Light and Lord Sidious that an alliance between us is actually possible. He thought to himself sinisterly as Ocean Master.
Soon, Aquaman, Ahsoka, Aqualad and Stingray entered the Throne Room, getting the Atlantean undercover agent to straighten up his posture while Ahsoka looked all around, filled with awe and wonder. Aquaman looked to his brother and smiled. "Orm, my dear brother!" he exclaimed, embracing him, in which Orm hugged back. "My brother, I cannot thank you enough for helping to hold the line when Atlantis was under siege during Mera's pregnancy." Aquaman added on, causing Orm to smile and chuckle, much to Ahsoka's confusion as she tilted her head to the side while admiring Orm. "If you're Aquaman's brother, then are you second-in-line to the throne or something?" the Togrutan asked curiously. Orm looked to Ahsoka surprisingly and stuttered, not expecting the Ex-Jedi to be present in Atlantis. He quickly shook his head and said, "Yes, but sadly, not quite yet."
Aqualad came next to Ahsoka and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Orm has been waiting for his place on the throne for quite some time, and even though the time for a new Atlantean monarch is long, he, as well as the rest of us, hope that his dream will come true." Kaldur'ahm stated. Ahsoka nodded at this before swimming up to Orm. "You'll get your chance someday, I know it." Ahsoka said enthusiastically to Aquaman's brother. Orm sighed sadly, but sent a confident smile back. "Thank you, Padawan Tano." He replied.
Ahsoka smiled as she swam up towards Aquaman. "You know, this isn't the first time I have been in an underwater palace before." She stated. Aquaman's eyes widened immediately at this statement. "Really?" he asked in curiosity. Ahsoka nodded before Aquaman looked back to his family. "I'll be with you in a moment, I would just like to talk with Ahsoka for a brief moment." Arthur stated. Mera nodded as Aqualad and Stingray sent respective salutes. The Atlantean monarch smiled back and then started to swim with Ahsoka throughout the rest of the Kingdom of Poseidonis.
Flashback to the Battle of Mon Cala, Ahsoka's narration…
"It all started as a prelude, when King Los Kolina of Mon Cala was killed, bringing down the curtain to a civil war between the Quarren and the Mon Calamari." A dagger is shown in King Los Kolina's chest before a flash goes off, the Quarren and the Mon Calamari at war with each other. "The Republic and the Jedi Order were sent to contain the situation, and I was one of the Jedi amongst them, along with my master and an army of Gungan soldiers." Ahsoka went on, Mace Windu's hologram showing up in front of Anakin, Ahsoka, Kit Fisto, and Padme. "The Mon Calamari system must not fall into Separatist hands. Prepare for an assault." The Jedi Master ordered as Nossor Ri lifted up his staff. "Fight, Quarren! Fight for Prince Lee-Char!"
"While Lee-Char was skeptical about his place as the eighty-third king to Mon Cala, he had us, a fellow Mon Cala by the name of Ackbar, and an entire army of Mon Calamari, Gungans and Quarren behind him, all now fighting against their common enemy: The Separatist Army, led by the ruthless Shark, Riff Tamson." Riff roared as he stabbed many Quarren and Mon Cala with his explosive daggers, eventually coming upon Prince Lee-Char himself, armed with the same dagger. Tamson laughed madly as he charged towards the prince, yelling out, "I was the one who killed your father!"
Back to the present…
"In anger and determination, Prince Lee-Char avenged his father by killing Tamson, becoming the true king of Mon Cala." Ahsoka concluded as they passed Garth and Tula, both of whom were talking with La'gann. All three of them had stopped talking once Ahsoka started retelling the story of the Battle of Mon Cala to Aquaman, now in complete awe. Arthur was most struck by this tale. "So, what happened to Lee-Char after that war?" he asked. Ahsoka sighed and placed her hands on her hips as she looked to the outskirts of Poseidonis. "Lee-Char was officially made King of Mon Cala, and the tensions between the Mon Calamari and the Quarren ceased, officially making the planet whole again." The Togrutan concluded.
Aquaman smiled at this story as he started to swim towards Ahsoka, placing his hand on her shoulder. "One of these days, with your permission, I would like to come with you to your universe so that I can visit this Mon Calamari planet. From that tale you just told me, Mon Cala has officially peaked my interest." Arthur stated. Ahsoka sighed and chuckled as she turned to Aquaman. "Well, I'll have to see about possibilities about going back." Ahsoka stated. Her smile then turned into a slight frown as she looked out to the outskirts of the Atlantean Kingdom. "I mean, I keep wondering if going back would even be the right choice." She added on in a somber tone. Aquaman looked to Ahsoka with compassion, knowing what she was going through right now.
Just then, both Ahsoka and Aquaman's trains of thoughts were interrupted when they heard a loud, low roar come from farther away. Ahsoka narrowed her eyes to clearly see ahead of herself, thinking that she might have seen something large in the distance and heading in their direction. Aquaman also narrowed his eyes as well, now seeing something with three horns and a large, green body. Tula gasped as she held onto Garth while Ahsoka readied her lightsaber and looked over to Aquaman. "Is that what I think it is?" she asked. Aquaman nodded and his eyes widened. "The Three-Horned Leviathan, dubbed by the predecessor Ruler of Atlantis as King Poseidon." Arthur said. Ahsoka nodded and gulped. "Well, that's settling." She nervously quipped. Soon, the Leviathan came closer and started to growl.
Aqualad and Stingray came along soon enough, witnessing the arrival of King Poseidon. "I thought that we sealed away that behemoth for good!" Kaldur'ahm spat, but Ahsoka shook her head as Aquaman prepared for battle. "History is meant to be rewritten!" the young Ex-Jedi remarked. Garth, Tula and La'Gaan all swam beside the four heroes, much to Kaldur and Ahsoka's surprise. "We stand beside our friends!" Garth exclaimed as Tula sent a friendly smile towards Aqualad. "And we fight for our king!" La'Gaan finished up boldly. Stingray smirked and placed his gauntlet onto his left hand. "Alright, time to get wet and wild!" he quipped. The rest of the Atlanteans and Ahsoka yelled in agreement as they started to charge at the Leviathan together.
From a nearby cliff, OceanMaster, in his aqua-blue armor, oversaw the battle from afar. This plan to persuade Lord Sidious to form an alliance with the Light had better work. He thought to himself anxiously. "Once my King Poseidon kills Aquaman, I will use my control over the beast to attack Atlantis, and I will take down the Leviathan in success as to where Orin had failed, making me king of Atlantis." OceanMaster reminded himself. He then looked back onto the battle as Stingray hovered over the Leviathan with Aquaman, Garth and Tula attacking from below. "Who is that warrior?" OceanMaster asked himself in confusion.
Stingray rode on top of his Diver Board and unsheathed his Single Water-Bearer as he charged at the head of the Leviathan. "Semiternus!" he yelled out, activating his blue blade and slashing the Leviathan across the eye, causing it to shriek in pain while Ahsoka placed her lightsaber blade over her arm-mounted crossbow while Aqualad, Garth and Tula charged up with energy. "Atlantis Scramble." She announced in a deep and serious voice. With that, she and the other Atlanteans made a straight blast at the Leviathan, followed by an energized slash from Ahsoka and Aqualad's swords. The Leviathan groaned even more as Aquaman started to charge at the monster.
OceanMaster gritted his teeth in anger at the sight of the heroes' success. "Enough of this heroic nonsense!" he exclaimed to himself. With that, he clicked his fingers, causing the eyes of the Leviathan to widen.
Ahsoka looked up to the Leviathan and gasped at the sight of its eyes widening. Aquaman had also stopped to take notice of this situation. The Leviathan suddenly started to turn to Aquaman and with one fell swoop of its tail, he swatted the Atlantean King aside towards an abyss, much to everyone's shock. "Keep Poseidon at bay! I'll check on Aquaman!" she ordered. Everyone nodded as Stingray led the Atlanteans against the Leviathan.
Aquaman gasped as he was thrown aside. He was now hanging on the edge of the abyss, trying to get back up with the little strength he had left. Just then, he heard some footsteps approach. Arthur looked up to see OceanMaster there, pointing him staff down towards him. "I'm glad that my pet was able to tire you out." OceanMaster stated sinisterly, causing Arthur to growl. "Poseidon was meant to be sealed away, and you decided to corrupt its peace by making it your pet!" Aquaman exclaimed. OceanMaster chuckled and nodded. "Yes, what a broad mind you must have." OceanMaster mused sarcastically. "With you out of the way, your place on the Justice League will be mine, and just like New Years, I, and the other members of the Light, will use the League to our advantage and successfully rule over Earth." The evil Atlantean remarked. Aquaman snarled as OceanMaster started to raise up his trident. "I'm going to enjoy this!" he exclaimed.
Just then, before he could strike, a blue blast was sent towards his mask, nearly cracking it. OceanMaster gasped and turned around, seeing Ahsoka walk over calmly with her arm-mounted crossbow drawn. "Step away from the King." She ordered tranquilly. OceanMaster gasped at the sight of the Togrutan Padawan. "Ahsoka Tano, you have gotten in the way of the Light for the last time!" he exclaimed. Ahsoka smirked and lowered her firearm. "What can I say? That's what I do." She quipped.
Ahsoka's snippy look then faded away as she unsheathed her lightsaber hilt. "Now, do as I say and free King Orin." Ahsoka demanded. OceanMaster only replied with a cackle and just unsheathed his trident. The two waited for one another to strike. Finally, after the Leviathan slammed its tail against the ocean sea, Ahsoka activated her lightsaber and OceanMaster cocked his trident. Ahsoka struck first by running towards OceanMaster and striking at the high point of his trident, in which he blocked at the last minute. Ahsoka gasped at the durability of OceanMaster's trident. Something is definitely wrong here! She thought to herself as she slammed her blade low. OceanMaster gasped and nearly blocked the blade as Ahsoka used the pressure to throw his trident up, pointing into the air. OceanMaster finally decided to strike back as he performed an overhead swing, but Ahsoka ducked and used a Soresu defense stance behind her back as the corrupted Atlantean tried to behead her, and then used a Shien defensive stance to block a front attack. Ahsoka then broke off and the two clashed high, breaking off again before OceanMaster went onto the offensive, striking high and low in a blur, anxious to get the Togrutan out of the way for good in order to impress Darth Sidious.
Finally, Ahsoka struck back by attacking with an Ataru Surge in the same pattern. She forced OceanMaster back and the two stood in a standstill, waiting for someone to attack once again. OceanMaster attacked first this time by twirling around his trident and attempting to behead Ahsoka, but she used a Makashi stance to block the three-horned edge and knock the trident away, but hardly saw a lower punch as she jumped over a lower slash soon after. Ahsoka then forced OceanMaster back again, quickly attacking high and low. After a while, she kicked away OceanMaster in order to get to Aquaman, still hanging over the ravine.
Aquaman attempted to get up, but due to his use of power, he was now struggling. Just then, Ahsoka came over! "Aquaman, hang on!" she yelled. Arthur nodded as Ahsoka extended a hand to help pull up Orin, but the sound of a metal blade caught the Togrutan's attention. Ahsoka gasped and turned around, clashing high with OceanMaster's trident before breaking off with a Djem So strike and performing an overhead kick. OceanMaster was pushed back, but he countered with twirling around his trident once again and performing an overhead strike, in which Ahsoka blocked, but was kicked away by him soon after. OceanMaster growled and performed many lower slashes, but backflipped over them all and rolled over an overhead attack in the nick of time before nearly getting decapitated.
OceanMaster turned around angrily and attacked again, only for Ahsoka to twirl back into the air and onto the ground, where she sent a powerful Shien upper slash towards the Member of the Light, sending him backwards. OceanMaster regained his strength, but failed to see Ahsoka coming down from the air and slashing him across the chest, causing him to groan and stumble backwards. In anger, OceanMaster sent a back kick towards Ahsoka, sending her back as well before the two jumped into the air and clashed with each other until they got back down.
Ahsoka and OceanMaster both panted from exhaustion, never feeling this much intensity for quite a long time. Just then, before OceanMaster could attack again, someone kicked him away. Ahsoka gasped and looked to the side, seeing that Aquaman was alright! "Aquaman!" she yelled out. Arthur looked to Ahsoka and winked, causing Ahsoka to grin in delight at his recovery. The two then looked to each other and nodded just as OceanMaster got back up on his feet. In anger, he sent a blast from his trident towards the two heroes, but they both jumped into the air and landed a twin punch at OceanMaster, throwing him off, followed by twin dropkicks. OceanMaster was once again sent back, and with this opportunity, Ahsoka held OceanMaster by the chest and then looked to Aquaman. "Do it!" she yelled out. Aquaman nodded and started to encircle his arms, summoning all the mystical energy he could. In a mighty blast, he sent OceanMaster flying into the air, away from Atlantis.
Ahsoka looked to Aquaman and smiled. "Great to have you back up again." She stated. Aquaman nodded and looked over to the Leviathan. "I say we give our friends a hand." The Atlantean king stated. Ahsoka nodded and the two swam over to Aqualad, Stingray and the others.
Stingray still rode on his Diver Board as he sent a blast of water towards the Leviathan with his Water-Bearer while Aqualad and Tula used twin attacks to set it off of its feet. Just as it was trying to get back up onto its feet, La'Gaan rammed himself into it, followed by Garth using his magic to send it back to the ground again. Ahsoka and Aquaman soon arrived, smiling at the success. "Now, let's see what made King Poseidon attack Atlantis again after we decided to let him live his life in peace." Aquaman stated. Ahsoka, Stingray and Aqualad all nodded as they followed the Atlantean King, preparing to strike should it attack them.
The rest of the Atlantean heroes stood ready as well as Aquaman started to communicate with it. Just then, before the creature could speak, his eyes started to widen as he raised his tentacle into the air. Everyone gasped and prepared to attack, but the Leviathan suddenly lowered its tentacle, falling to the ground unconscious. Stingray swam over to feel the creature's pulse. "He-he's dead." Stephen stuttered. Everyone gathered around the Leviathan, mourning over its death. Ahsoka looked to the Leviathan's body and noticed something on its skin. "Aquaman, you'd better see this." She yelled out to Arthur. Aquaman swam over and gasped. "Poseidon was poisoned!" he exclaimed. Stingray and Aqualad swam over after hearing this. "I bet all of Ohio that OceanMaster set it up and killed the Leviathan as a failsafe." Ahsoka nodded and looked back to the Leviathan. "The question is: What was he after?" she asked.
Aquaman sighed and looked over to Ahsoka, placing a golden object in her palm. "Ahsoka, all of Atlantis is in your debt." Arthur stated. Ahsoka blushed and bowed at this. "I was happy to be of assist, King Orin." The Togrutan replied back. Aquaman smiled and looked down to the medallion. "This medallion will help you to channel the powers of the seas. I wish for you to use it well." Orin explained. Ahsoka smiled, knowing that for now, all was well.

Darth Sidious looked over the battle of Atlantis with interest with the Light at his side. After a while of watching, Vandal Savage stopped the recording. "So?" he asked. Sidious turned to the Light and grinned. "A plan to overthrow the king and making yourself look like a hero to Atlantis may have failed, Orm, but you were able to execute it perfectly." Sidious approbated. OceanMaster, still injured from battle, stepped up and removed his helmet, revealing himself as Orm. "I assume that this was enough to ensure an alliance between us?" Ra's al Ghul asked. The Dark Lord chuckled and nodded. "I'll see to it that, just like the Cortosis Trident from Mon Cala, the Separatists will continue to assist you." Sidious stated, smirking under his hood.
